America, Listen to the Lord thy God and Leave Jerusalem Alone!!!

22 July 2009: The Evangelical Christian community has been warning American leaders to steer clear of all efforts to remove Jerusalem from Israeli control since at least 1996. The repercussions of an American participation in such an effort to push Israel out of the city will without question bring disaster upon this nation. We believe that the Lord has prophetically and specifically warned ALL nations through the ancient prophet Zechariah to steer clear from such actions which are to occur in the 'last days' of human rule on this earth. In Zechariah 12:2-3 (NKJV) it is written:
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."

Behold indeed, this is exactly what the present Obama Administration, an un-Constitutional usurper administration, is currently doing with their unfounded demands of Israel concerning Jerusalem settlements. From the Lord's perspective there is no such thing as East or West Jerusalem, there is only Jerusalem. When Israel re-entered the whole of Jerusalem just 19 years after the re-birth of Israel in 1948 (see the Parable of the Fig Tree (i.e. Israel) in Matthew 24:32-35) following an absense of nearly 1,900 years imposed by the Roman Empire, this was not by accident, nor earthly power or any other random occurance. Israel is back in the land simply because it is the will of the Almighty God. It is highly advisable for all nations to heed His warnings, particularly America, lest this nation be swept away as so many were in the days of Noah.

By the Word of God we know that Jerusalem will not be relinquished from Israel's control, even though as the Lord warns that ALL nations will be gathered against it. We know that according to the Lord's prophetic word in 2 Kings 19:34 that He will defend Jerusalem. According to the prophetic words of Daniel, Ezekiel and the Lord Jesus Christ, we know that Israel will soon be in the position to rebuild the Temple on the Mount as seen in the image below. America dare not stand or act against the God whom we pray the Lord's Prayer, and have always declared our trust in and revere on our currency, and whose Ten Commandments we have enshrined upon the edifices of our institutions across the breadth of this land. I believe that We The Christian People of the United States of America have a responsibilty to the Lord our God to defend Jerusalem and the whole of Israel irregardless of the political positions of our ursurper president and his toadies and lackies. So Help Us God.

I couldn't agree with you more, Sean. And as a backup artice to your, I found this on Jack Kelly's site "GraceThruFaith";

250 Israeli Rabbis Sign Letter to Obama: “Hands off Jerusalem”

In a reference to the upcoming “nine days” which culminate in Tisha B’Av, the rabbis tell US Pres. Obama that “during these days, in which the Jewish people mourn the destruction of Jerusalem and mark the disgraceful memory of its destroyers, we are certain that you, Mr. Barack Obama, do not want to enter that disreputable list of those who raise their hand to strike Jerusalem and those who live in it.”

The rabbinical letter ends with a clear request: “If you, Mr. Obama, wish to leave any chance at all for peace and quiet in the Middle East, take your hands off the Holy City of Jerusalem right now!”

You know, God has made it pretty plain when He said of Jerusalem,

"Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel. But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.” 2 Chronicles 6:5-6

Those nations that try and oppose and destroy Jerusalem are going to be greatly disapointed, and will have divine punishment to deal with.

Just me thoughts.

Yessir, that's about the size of it when it comes to Jerusalem.

It's the same situation when it comes to Israel - God has his plans, and those plans are coming into direct manifestation before our eyes.

We are witnesses to the literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

I really enjoy Jack Kelley's work. Of what I've seen, heard or read of his work I am in agreement with virtually every iota of it.

Here is a direct URL to the link you posted above just to make it easy to access:

Jack Kelley: Leave Jerusalem Alone

You know the Spirit is moving powerfully when at least two such identical subject matter posts go up within 3 days of each other and there has been no direct contact between the authors.

We are being warned point blank by the Lord. No doubt about it.

Jack Kelley's website is now in my "favorite links" listing.

Very simply:
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
