Direct and to the point, the question was known before it was written and the Scripture response came back in the same instant as I read your question. I did not have to look it up or think about it, it was just there for me to type out on the keyboard. Praise God! Personal pronouns aside, that was a response from the Spirit!

He's another Word:

There is only One way to the Father and that is through the Son;

No one comes to the Son unless called by the Father, and the Father has called all to His Son Christ Jesus.

In the end then, those who reject the Son will have also rejected the call of the Father.

John 6.
Sean Osbornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16635416157001117844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8373186484944191934.post-68999723258113901232014-02-10T20:16:55.501-05:002014-02-10T20:16:55.501-05:00That answer gives me comfort because I have some f...That answer gives me comfort because I have some friends who will likely be left behind. It'll take something like the rapture to get to them. I called my pastor and asked him this same question (this was last night after evening service) here was his answer:
The people Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians 2 are people who are set in their rebellion towards God and would never repent no matter how many times they heard the Gospel so God will give them over to a strong delusion. We see this pattern elsewhere in scripture as well. We see it with pharoah, we see it with ahab when he was enticed to go into battle, we see it with the Israelites when they complained for meat...he went on to say that the context is not the rapture anyway and the timing of this passage is the middle of the tribulation. Then he mentioned revelation 7:9-10 with a multitude which no man can number. Then he gave a very stern warning about how awful the tribulation will be. He basically said yes, there's hope for your friends, but if they don't come to Christ before the rapture, it'll be much harder to after the rapture. Then he said do everything you can to get them saved before the rapture.
That's my pastors answer to that question.hartdawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14554733830775640375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8373186484944191934.post-82266219141774430282014-02-10T09:00:32.919-05:002014-02-10T09:00:32.919-05:00The Word of God is unequivocal about this; there i...The Word of God is unequivocal about this; there is no "if," "and" or "but" about it.

Romans 10:13
" For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The night of the Last Supper we find Peter taking the very first Communion with the Lamb of God in the flesh, and exactly as our Savior declared to his face this Peter denied his Savior the Lamb of God three times before the rooster crowed the next morning.
