Why The Next Arab-Israel War Is Inevitable

UPDATE 26 March 2014: It took a while, but one of the central themes discussed below is the absolute refusal of the Arabs in the Palestinian Authority to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. During the closing session today of the 25th Arab League Summit, being held in Kuwait, this central tenet of Arab foreign policy has been set in stone through a vote of the member states vowing to never recognize Israel as a Jewish state. This determining vote in a very real sense is the "sound of inevitability." Quoting the Arab League communique:

“We hold Israel entirely responsible for the lack of progress in the peace process and continuing tension in the Middle East. We express our absolute and decisive rejection to recognizing Israel as a Jewish state.”

22 November 2010: Israel's outgoing Military Intelligence Chief, Major General Amos Yadlin, says the next war will be a multi-front war and that Tel Aviv will be one of the front lines.

In delivering his farewell briefing before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Cabinet yesterday, Sunday, 21 November 2010, outgoing Israel Defense Forces Military Intelligence Chief MG Amos Yadlin spoke of how Iran is Israel's most dangerous enemy, that other than its relentless drive for nuclear weaponry the Islamic Republic "is reaching out with octopus-like arms to anyone who acts against Israel."
MG Yadlin continued his final Cabinet-level briefing by laying out the parameters Israel faces prior to the outbreak of hostilities, saying, "In the next confrontation, there is a chance that war will break out on more than one front, and that Tel Aviv will become a front. There is also a struggle against the very legitimacy of Israel's existence, and to face it we need intelligence and to mobilize the nation. Israel's deterrent power is very strong, but the quiet should not deceive us – to the contrary. Our enemies are getting stronger and arming themselves."
Prime Minister Netanyahu concluded the briefing by saying, "I met with him every week, sometimes several times a week. We discussed the difficult problems and new challenges that face us, from the Iranian nuclear threat, through the threat of missiles and rockets against the State of Israel, the development of Hizbullah and Hamas, as well as various developments in the countries of the region. I believe that Amos succeeded in giving us the tools with which to assess these dangers and to prepare to meet them."
As of this morning, 22 November 2010, the new IDF Intelligence Chief is Brigadier General Aviv Kochavi.

3 September 2010: The next Arab-Israel war is inevitable because at least 90% of the Arabs believe that such a war is essential for achieving their purposed desire to establish a national homeland for the "Palestinians" from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. This overwhelming Arab majority is united in the necessity to destroy the State of Israel to make their dream a reality.

A just completed poll conducted in both Gaza and the West Bank by the Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD) between 8 and 14 August 2010 and published on 28 August 2010 reveals the following:

  • 83.5% of "Palestinians" blame the United States for the lack of progress on their agenda because of an American lack of committment in establishing a "Palestinian" state.

  • 85.5% of "Palestinians" blame the citizens of Israel, believing that Israeli citizens do not want peace because peace would mean the elimination of the State of Israel. (Duh!)

  • 90.2% of "Palestinians" believe it is essential for the final status peace agreement to establish "Historic Palestine" from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea as a national home for "Palestinians."

It's a no-brainer. War between the Arabs and Israel is inevitable.

UPDATE 07 SEP 10: An article in today's Jerusalem Post varifies the validity of the poll I reference and the conclusion that has been made regarding the imminent war:

"In 'Al-Quds' interview, PA president says Palestinians won't recognize Israel as a Jewish state, accuses Netanyahu of trying to "strip" Israeli-Arabs' rights.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas rejected Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's talk about an "historic compromise" and said there would be no compromises on core issues such as Jerusalem and borders.

Abbas also reiterated his rejection of Netanyahu's demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state. "We're not talking about a Jewish state and we won't talk about one," Abbas said in an interview with the semi-official Al-Quds newspaper. "For us, there is the state of Israel and we won't recognize Israel as a Jewish state."

Abbas said that in recent meetings with leaders of the Jewish community in the US, he made it clear that the Palestinians would not recognize Israel as a Jewish state. "I told them that this is their business and that they are free to call themselves whatever they want," Abbas said. "But [I told them] you can't expect us to accept this."

Abbas said that by raising the issue of Israel's right to be a Jewish state, Netanyahu was seeking to "strip" Israeli-Arabs of their rights and turn them into illegal citizens. He said that Netanyahu's goal was also to block any chance of Palestinian "refugees" from returning to their original homes inside Israel.

Asked about the possibility of dismantling the PA, Abbas said he did not rule out such an option if he reached the conclusion that the peace talks are hopeless. However, he stressed that this option was not on the table at present."

UPDATE 13 October 2010: The expected failure of the direct Israel-Palestinian Authority negotiations has occured. According to Mahmoud Aloul, a senior member of the Fatah Central Committee which holds political power within the PA, the two-state peace process has failed. Also as expected, the PA blames the "racist policies" of Israel for this failure.

With the failure of these direct negotiations the Palestinian Authority has consulted with "Arab leaders," most probably officially represented by the Arab League. Now, if Mahmoud Abbas is true to his word recorded in bold red above, the Palestinian Authority should be dismantled and the Arab League should convene it's military committee to embark upon the long-threated war to eliminate Israel and impose a one-state Arab Islamic solution. Here we have the precise condition and objective of Israel's Arab Islamic enemies found in the openning verses of Psalm 83:1-5.

"Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;

And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.

They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You"

Concurrent with this development is the ever increasing threat of Al Qaeda terrorism. This threat runs the gamut from Mumbai-style attacks involving roving bands of suicidal jihadists attacking large groups of people while armed with assault rifles, grenades and other explosives or simply mowing down people with full-size pick-up trucks in various locations all across the United States.

Directly related to this increased threat of Islamic terrorism in urban and rural America is the fact that the former Islamic "stealth jihad" of the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimuun) has been upgraded to full-scale war (jihad) against the people and institutions of the United States. Yes, the Muslim Brotherhood has declared jihad against America. In case anyone is unaware, the Muslim Brotherhood exists in a mosque or Islamic Cultural Center near your home anywhere in America.

Very detailed reports on these threats to homeland USA are found HERE and HERE.

I believe the failure of Israeli-Palestinian Authority negotiations and the Muslim Brotherhood's declaration of war against America are directly related. In this war the Arab Muslims will be going for broke, and if that means war (jihad) being waged simultaneously against both Israel and America, then so be it, that is what they will do. It is what they long ago declared that they would do when the time was right.

The next act in the 'end times' scenario is about to take center stage. In Christ Jesus is our strength and our victory.

  1. and just what and where is "historic palastine"? as you said about war being inevitable "duh"!

  2. It's not the Palestinian numbers that worry me, but the probability that those numbers I'd bet exactly match the Muslim world and maybe even come close to the true numbers reflecting the rest of the world.

Has the world ever hated a people group more than the Jews? Makes one ask "Why?"

  3. Sean,
What do you make of the Syria/Hezbollah war pact? Are they about to make a big move soon?
Is this similar to the run up to the 2006 Lebanon War?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Why are the Jews hated?

For the same reason Islam was created.

    Satan at work.

    ...

And the Syria/Hezbollah pact merely makes formal what was already a defacto integrated alliance. This alliance is a further confirmation that Psalm 83, Isaiah 17 and Joshua 13:1-7 are nearing their ultimate fulfillment.

This is shaping up to be, as I forecast many months ago, a war that will be akin to the wars of 1948, 1967 and 1973 all rolled up into one, with WMD to boot.

  5. Sean,

Great post, You are absolutely right where this war is in inevitable. It is only a matter of time and It could start before these peace talks end in failure.

    Bible Prophecy will be fulfilled.

  6. hey sean, yet another question here: exactly what more needs to happen before psalm 83/isa 17 takes place? i`m not sure jordan and egypt are completely on board yet (at least not overtly) is the final fulfillment immenent or do a few more things need to happen?

    ReplyDelete
  7. b.t.w. i have NO doubt war is immenant, it`s the final fulfillment i`m wondering about. i`m just wondering if ALL the psalm 83 nations are fully on board yet, and if not which ones are not. one thing i do know is this: everything will happen on schedule.

  8. Of course the Jewish calendar is lunar (every month begins with a new moon). That being the case, I'm seeing some chatter about a surprise attack being launched against Israel next week on the Jewish new year.
Do we think that will be the start, or will it just be another false alarm?

  9. hartdawg,

Psalm 83, Isaha 17 and Joshua 13:1-7 are ALL directly linked.

When it happens it will happen exactly as the prophets have foretold - with or without any newspaper reports regarding Jordanian or Egyptian preparation for this war. That they will participate is beyond question for the Lord has spoken on the matter.

Jordan's King Hussein is on record saying this war will erupt and that Jordan will not sit on the sidelines.

Murbarak is on borrowed time, and the current Egyptian regime has it's own continuing serious problems with both the Ikhwan and jihadists. Egypt could fold as we currently know it almost without warning.

    Mark,

I'm of the opinion that war will start after the Washington DC direct talks have ended in failure, or if an agreement is failed in execution, or deliberate preemption comes against Israel from Hezbollah/Lebanon and Syria/Iran.

There are many detonators that could separately or in conjunction ignite this war. A single Lebanese army sniper nearly did so a couple of weeks ago.

    It's a literal hair-trigger situation.

  10. With respect to my comment above to Mark regarding the preemptive potential of Hezbollah/Lebanon and Syria against Israel...

DEBKAfile has a very timely and accurate report on what has just occured behind the scenes.

US warns Assad of Israeli counter-strike for terror campaign

This may yet be another and extemely clever act of an agent provocateur, as was done with the Lebanese Army last week, or it may be just the simple fact of the matter regarding what Israel is determined to do in Netanyahu's boldest gamble yet in reaching out to the Palestinian Authority.

Student of Bible eschatology already know the nature of the "end game."

  11. thanks again for the clarification. it seems that one strike could light the whole middle east and start the chain reaction, psalm 83/isa 17, ezekiel 38&39 to follow....

  12. Sean,
What do you think will be in store for us Americans during and after the Psalm 83, etc. war? I'm curious about oil prices etc., and their domino effect on all our natural resources etc.

  13. skulee: not to speak for sean, but if the church is here, and there is no garantee but i think we will be, bill salus did and article some time back on bible-prophecy-today and prophecydepot (i forgot the date and the link) in which he explains the scenerio.

I'm pressed for time right now, but I do know that I've not changed my views since writing this blog entry back in March of this year.

The Psalm 83 Revealing: Coincidence or Providence?

Also, you can use the search engine in the upper left-hand corner to find other blog entries of a similar nature that I know are elsewhere within this blog.

  16. I notice that Ahmadinejad is in Lebenon this week. Don't know if he is on vacation and laying out on the beach, or if he is on a last minute planning meeting with Hezballah, but I can guarantee nothing good will come from his visit.

It may be, and it's just speculation on my part, that he is about to kick off his long imagined and much discussed apocolypse to welcome his majhdi. Either way, I think I might postpone my trip to Tel Aviv for awhile!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Drew,

I have no doubt that Ahamdinejad "is on a last minute planning meeting with Hezballah" their Lebanese hosts, and Syrian allies in preparation for a war against Israel. I also have no doubt that all of this is key to his apocalyptic dreams for hastening the revealing of his well-dwelling mahdi.

    ReplyDelete
  18. If you'll check out Debka (http://www.debka.com/) you'll see there are reports that Syria and Iran have given the go-ahead to Hezballah to overthrow the government in Beirut. This would be done to prevent the UN Special Tribunal in Lebanon (UNSTL)from proceeding in its attempts to arrest leading Hezballah members for the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri two years ago. The coup will take place shortly after Ahmadinejad's visit (I'm guessing the 15th, during Friday prayers.) This story is bolstered by the presence of 2,500 Iranian Revolutionary Guardsmen in southern Lebanon.

The thing is, this story doesn't have to be true to be effective. It may just paralyze the existing government to the extent that Hezballah (backed by the Iranian Guards) can simply step in "to restore order.

If I were to pick a date for the start of hostilities, I'd say Oct. 23 -- the 72nd anniversary of Kristalnacht (the beginning of the Holocaust) and 3 days after Fatah and HAMAS are to meet in Damascus for "unity talks".

  19. 2 things 1)do you still feel this (imminent) war will take place before the november elections? and 2) remember my comment about something having to happen to irans nuclear facilities before psalm 83 because saudi needs isreal? well, this computer bug took care of that. (just my opinion and i could be dead wrong)

  20. Since we are referencing Debka, this was published on their website this morning (www.debka.com);

"Towards the end of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad first day in Lebanon Wednesday Oct. 13, a high alert was declared in the Israeli, Syrian, Lebanese armies, the Hizballah militia and the UN peacekeeping force. The visitor was expected to further sharpen his tone and fire seriously belligerent rhetoric at Israel from the sites he is touring Thursday along the Lebanese-Israeli border.

A sign of this came in the harsh tone of the speech he delivered Wednesday night from the Al-Raya Stadium in the Shiite district Dahya district of Beirut: Ahmadinejad and Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared their common goal was Israel's destruction. The IDF, the Lebanese army and UNIFIL raised their war alert further when it was discovered that Nasrallah was not standing beside the Iranian president but had relayed his speech by videotape.

Although Ahmadinejad spent the day meeting Lebanese leaders, he was not seen to have met Nasrallah. However, our sources report that they did get together secretly in the early afternoon and coordinated their movements and actions for the next part of the Iranian leader's visit. They talked again without publicity Wednesday evening shortly before their speeches at the stadium.

The Hizballah leaders physical absence from the platform alongside the Iranian president, as though his life is in greater danger than that of his guest, is interpreted by Western intelligence circles in Beirut as pointing to Nasrallah reserving a piece of high drama up his sleeve, alarming enough to justify a demonstration of strength by Hizballah in Beirut or in South Lebanon. That is why he preferred to keep his head down Wednesday. The maneuver was almost certainly approved or even cooked up with the Iranian president."

Very forboding news, and I think very dangerous. The fact that Nasrallah is playing the "missing man" game in these circumstances gives me pause.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sean,
Do you think Iran would judge it to be in their interest to launch a major war prior to the US election? Or would it be more in their interest to wait until after?
Obviously we are close to it happening, but it's been that way for a while now.

  22. many many people are starting to believe a "palastinian" state will happen and its starting to look more and more like it. we must base our knowledge on the prophetic word and not what seems likely and a pa state does not jive with the senerio portrayed in ezekiel 38. my question is this: is a very short-lived "palastinian" state a possibility only to be destroyed in the psalm 83 battle? or will it (a pa state) simply not happen period?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't believe there will ever be a PA state established in Judea and Samaria.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i agree totally, although it "seems" like there will be. i personally think that the closer a pa state seems then psalm 83 will be even closer rendering all talks of a PA state moot. also, if our current regime persists in attempting to create a PA state then Gods judgement will surely come.

  25. Wars and rumors or wars.......

I see where the NorK's have fired on the South K's this morning.......have also read that the people of Lebenon are expecting an Hezballah coup on their government at any moment..........did you ever have the feeling that something was about to happen?............something big?............something that will change the world as you know it?.......Yeah, me too!

  26. Oh, and I forgot to add..........I have noticed that both our resident of the White House is in serious political trouble here at home......as is the President of Iran, Ahmadinijad............I have come to the conclusion that either one of them, in order to ease their political pressure, are capable and apparently willing to start trouble somewhere.............Dangereous game.......who knows where that kind of attitude can lead....(refer to the the years 1939 through 1945)...........We will see what we shall see I guess.........but the pressure is building............and soon I think it will seek release.
