Is Ezekiel's Army About to Face Off with the Arabs?

by Bill Salus

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. (Ezekiel 37:10, nkjv).

21 May 2011: Some bible teachers, like Joel Rosenberg and me, believe Ezekiel 37:10 describes an army, whereas others like Dr. Thomas Ice and Ray Gano believe Ezekiel is predicting a great multitude or host will emerge out of his prophetic "Dry Bones" vision.

30 May 2011: The follow-up article to the above is Bill Salus' most recent...

Is the Arab Spring setting up for a Winter War?

In a last ditch effort to politically broker a final Arab state called Palestine, U.S. President Barrack Obama showed his Pro-Palestinian trump card. In May, 2011, with his left hand clenched in a seeming show of American solidarity for Israel’s security, Obama snuck his right hand into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cookie jar, and was caught red-handed attempting to pick-pocket Israel’s most prized possession; their homeland.

Obama's presidential play prompted Netanyahu to push his poker chips forward, lay all his cards on the table, and shout, "
ISRAEL'S ALL IN!" Netanyahu seized the opportunity to call the U.S. President's and Palestinians bluff. The King of Israel revealed his Royal Flush, leaving little wiggle room for future Mideast peace negotiations.

His strict laundry list of conditions hit at the heart of every Palestinian contention. To the Palestinians, this was nothing short of a declaration of war. (

  1. it says "exceedingly great army" I think it means just that...an army.

  2. Ezekiel 37:10 reads in the original Hebrew that Ezekiel prophecied and "they lived and stood up on their feet... "meh'od gadowl chayil"... literally... an "exceedingly great army.

That is the IDF and the Israeli citizen soldier.

  3. Ray Gano, 'watchman on the wall' has begun to have some very interesting interpretations of very literal passages. As hartdawg stated, in reading the passage, it says 'exceedingly great army.' In Biblical interpretation, if a literal sense can be taken, it should be taken rather trying to shoe-horn some mystical interpretation to form fantasy. Thanks for the link Sean.

  4. unless god intervene I don't see how to fulfillment of psalm 83 can occur later than this fall. by all humans standards this summer will be the moment of truth.

  5. hartdawg,

It is not a matter of "unless God intervenes" that the final literal fulfillment of Psalm 83 will occur this fall. That my Brother is akin to date setting.

That time is an unknown Divinely appointed time determined ONLYby our Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotient God the Father as according to His will.

Remove the 'self' and listen only for the Holy Spirit.

  6. Well said Mr. Osborne.

I am 'always' in AWE as I see things that are happening in these last days.

I feel I must share something with you at this time, I hope it is okay to do so.

About a year ago now I was just being silent before the Lord, just praising HIM in my Spirit, I was standing in my kitchen when all of a sudden I had this overwhelming feeling of absolute AWENESS..I don't think I can explain it so that anyone would really understand what I felt so I won't even try. All I know is that I was so in AWE (the only word that fits how I felt) that I couldn't even speak.

Then, I don't know if I actually heard a voice or what, but it was as if the Holy Spirit told me to 'stand' back and 'watch the hand of the God'...God is moving and like you have said, it is HIS timing....We have absolutely no idea of how HE is going to bring things into place that need to be brought into place to fulfill HIS WILL...We can only 'know' that HIS WILL, 'will' be fulfilled and stand back and watch in absolute AWE at how HE does it.

Just when we think things are happening the way we figured they would, because that's how it looked like they should happen, God sets something else in motion..Sometimes it turns out the way we thought it would and other times it turns out the exact opposite of how we thought it would...

So, I now continue to study the Word to find out what is going to happen and then 'stand back and see the hand of God perform his WORD'...
He is an 'awesome' God and there is NONE like HIM..
    God Bless

  7. I totally agree Sean...completely. I'm simply saying by a human lenses it appears to be inevitable really soon....yet as you stated I (we all) must get the "you" out and listen to the holy spirit. ( something I pursue to grow in everyday) we cannot look at current events thru a human lense we must be instep and daily filled with the holy spirit.

  9. Anyone heard from Sean lately? It's been a little over a month since he posted this last blog. A little out of character for him. I know he gets busy, just beginning to get a little worried about him.

  11. It is quiet here. Might that new post relate to Iran's missile exercises this week?
Frankly I'm a little tired of the sabre rattling. If a war is going to break out over there I'd rather it be sooner rather than later and get it over with.
