Global SITREP D2-15: The Surest Sign of the End of the Age - PART II

Here as PART II of SITREP C-9-15 The Surest Sign of the End of the Age is the just published video presentation produced by The Temple Institute.

Tisha b'Av: The Third Temple Plans Have Begun

Published on Jul 26, 2015
This is a walk-through the main sanctuary of the Holy Temple, showcasing decades of research and tens of innovative Halachic solutions to various perplexing issues that were resolved to create fully functional, ready-to-use plans. As the visual tour sweeps through the sanctuary, one can see the menorah, incense altar and showbread table, all of which have already been prepared by the Institute, among 70 other sacred vessels. The presentation was specially released to coincide with the Ninth of Av, the Jewish national day of mourning which commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples.
This is not a ‘virtual’ representation, but a portion of a complete and highly detailed architectural plan which has been prepared for the immediate construction of the Holy Temple. The plan includes all of components that will be used in building: marble, stone, concrete, wood, flooring materials, overlay of gold, etc.

The external view presents the openings, windows, chambers, the outer hall, the Sanctuary and the Holy of Holies.

In the first stage we are moving through the hall’s entrance. As we continue we arrive at the golden chains described in Tractate Middot, which the young priests-in-training would climb in order to view the decorative crowns that were placed in unique windows above the entrance to the Sanctuary. The visit continues on to the 38 chambers that surrounded the Sanctuary. The door opens and we find ourselves within the first chamber. We turn left and enter into the Sanctuary. From the right we see the three major vessels of the Sanctuary: The golden altar, the table of the showbread, and the menorah. We also see the curtain with its depiction of the two cherubim.

This curtain is actually a double curtain, that separates between the Holy area (the Sanctuary), and the Holy of Holies. We look up to the ceiling of the Sanctuary, which reaches a height of 40 amot. Near the ceiling are the ‘narrowing windows’ (Kings I 6:4) which direct from the Temple outwards.

Turning behind us, we see the doors of the Sanctuary towards the east, as they are opened each morning by the priests, revealing the blue skies of Jerusalem at sunrise.

From the Sanctuary, we turn back to the chambers and go out to the long passageway known as the ‘mesiba.’ We ascend stairs that lead to the roof of the chambers. We continue moving, encircling the Temple from the north and west, afterwards turning east.

At the end of the passageway stands a special ladder that is used to ascend to the upper level. This level has a very high level of sanctity. One opinion maintains that it is only entered once in seventy years (for maintenance purposes).

In summary, this is a highly-detailed building plan which includes room for further innovation by professionals and craftsmen, including decoration, heating and electric etc. According to the decisions of the steering committee that will be established to oversee the construction of the Third Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

The video comes one year after the Temple Institute appealed to its supporters to take part in an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign that raised over $100,000 for the architectural plans. The video was first released to supporters of a current campaign to raise the first kosher Red Heifer in Israel in over 2,000 years. Over the past five years, the organization has released its most ambitious campaigns and poignant videos to reframe the mourning period into one of active preparation for the Third Holy Temple.

Rabbi Chaim Richman, International Director of The Temple Institute noted: “One third of all Torah commandments pertain to the building of and service in the Holy Temple. Today, we not only mourn the destruction of the two Holy Temples, but also our inability to fulfill one third of the Torah. Over the last three decades, the Temple Institute has done everything in our power to research and prepare for the Third Temple. As world Jewry sits on the ground mourning the first two Temples, we have taken a huge leap towards the rebuilding, by releasing a 3D architectural rendition of the Third Temple”

The Temple Institute is the center of research and preparation for the Holy Temple. In addition to educational activity focused on the centrality of the Temple Mount and Holy Temple, the Institute have also recreated over 70 sacred vessels for use in the Third Holy Temple, which can be seen at their Visitors Center in the Old City of Jerusalem.Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

  1. Exciting times and all the prophecies can still fall into the generation of strength.

  2. Two Questions:
    1. what will they do for an ark?
    2. Do current Jews, and all Jews since the destruction of the 2nd temple, believe they have no hope of salvation w/o a temple to do the sacrifices in? Do they just believe they are doomed until the temple is built?

  3. In the midst of all of the evil perpetrating around us, it is so refreshing to see Almighty God at work delivering on HIs promises! We serve an awesome God! Nice to both know the ending of the story, and to be a part of it.

  4. Tho the furnishings may be ready, a fully constructed temple is still seemingly a good number of years away. First off is the political environment. After psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 it could take israel a fee years to recover and be "an unwalled village dwelling securely". Secondly, there's the length of time to get all the permit......finally, there's the time it takes for the construction itself. I'd say that a fully rebuilt temple is a good 5-10 years off....but God could supernaturally intervene and speed it up considerably

  5. If they have a 3D model they have construction documents. As I have said before, I am in architecture and you build your 3D model from a CAD file. It doesn't matter what program you use they come from the same file. Most likely they would be using a program called Revit. That's a guess but within the industry a pretty good guess. Revit incorporates all the structural pieces as well as mechanical, elec. runs, lighting, etc all in one file so when you stretch or move it all moves together and has all 3 dimensions built in. Anyway!

There was a decent amount of turmoil on the mount for Tish B'Av! Jerusalem police even went into the dome...

Hartdawg I know we are all throwing out guesses but my guess is 3-4 years.

  6. Ken B,

Some details that I am aware of but did not post because it's minutia would probably not be of interest to everyone.

This video was in fact created using the architectural AutoCAD (Automated Computer Assisted Design) program The Temple Institute commissioned for this construction project. Detailed D size blue prints exist for the construction and come directly from the AutoCAD program.

Every facet of the structure exists in cyber form within that file, which will cost $300,000.00 in total to create. The section of the 3rd Temple that will house the Sanhedrin's chamber (Chamber of Hewn Stone) cost $30,000.00 all by itself. The current amount of this project which has been fully funded in $100,000.00.

I also understand that individual donations to the Institute can be made for the follow-on parts of this project. Every dollar helps.

  7. Also, before I forget, as stated previously, the construction of the 3rd Temple will be a massive undertaking.

When the actual construction does commence the large tower cranes and derricks seen in many urban construction projects will, at least temporarily, become part of the Mount Moriah/Jerusalem skyline.

This construction project will be a manual labor intensive endeavor, but will also utilize the most modern means of construction available.

  8. The Two Witnesses are on their way. As brethren in Christ, and those with the wisdom of God's prophetic word and understanding, we know their purpose, testimony, power, and divine protection. Will they be Moses and Elijah? Or Moses and Enoch? Or two unknown individuals from our day and age chosen by God, we don't know. Whoever they are, we must still pray for them because this dark world as of late is getting darker. And this dark world, and their Antichrist, will be against these two blessed individuals.

"And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth." –Revelation 11:1-4 (KJV)

  9. We, the Bride of Christ, will probably not know who the identity of the Two Witnesses as the Harpazo will likely have occurred for us prior to their ministry beginning in Jerusalem.

If they are two men of this present ago, then I certainly would believe they are alive and walking among us at the time.

But does it matter what their identities are? No, not at all. They will remain unknown until their time arrives.

  10. I just read where a jewish man was praying "Hear O Israel" and was praying the shema when the police kicked him of the temple grounds. I can't wait until it is God's two witnesses they try to remove.:)

  11. jmoll106,

Amen! That makes several of us in agreement, although for some reason they do prefer to remain anonymous.

    Whatever.

The point I'd like to make with respect to the Two Witnesses is this:

What happens immediately to those people who act unjustly, or act with bad intent or intend to cause harm or death against the Two Witnesses?

The Two Witnesses do not kiss them on the cheek and offer their own other cheek or their body to be struck a death blow, nor do the Two Witnesses pray for their malefactors or otherwise give them another free shot at trying to kill them.

No, absolutely not, none of that occurs.

The Two Witnesses act with Divine power directly from the LORD God spoken of in Revelation 11:3. This power proceeds as fire out of their mouth to totally consume the offender(s), and any who would attempt to murder them are themselves killed in the exact same manner as the offender had intended to inflict death upon the Two Witnesses.

Not many prophecy teachers teach upon this and this is something which I find to be somewhat incredible because this prophetic word comes directly from the mouth of God, because it is from The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the very first verse of Revelation 1:1 in fact.

  12. Amen Sean, Up until their arrival and our departure most leaders have no regard for Almighty God and have never bowed their knee to His Only Begotten Son, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, our Savior, Jesus. I will rejoice when these powerful two witnesses show no regard to the laws of man but only obedience to God and begin the final countdown til every knee bows to Jesus.

  13. Also in Revelation 1:1 ..."it must shortly come to pass" certainly is fitting for our time.
    Even so come Lord.

  14. JG asked two questions:

    1. what will they do for an ark?

That's completely unknown. Some believe the ark will be revealed to them once the Temple is rebuilt.

    2. Do current Jews, and all Jews since the destruction of the 2nd temple, believe they have no hope of salvation w/o a temple to do the sacrifices in? Do they just believe they are doomed until the temple is built?

Neither. The three types of religious Jews (Orthodox/Hasidim, Conservative and Reformed) have over the past 1,945 years adopted a belief espoused by Rambam (a revered rabbi) regarding the 13 principles of the Jewish faith. They are:

    1. G-d exists
    2. G-d is one and unique
    3. G-d is incorporeal
    4. G-d is eternal
    5. Prayer is to be directed to G-d alone and to no other
    6. The words of the prophets are true
    7. Moses' prophecies are true, and Moses was the greatest of the prophets
    8. The Written Torah (first 5 books of the Bible) and Oral Torah (teachings now contained in the Talmud and other writings) were given to Moses
9.There will be no other Torah
    10. G-d knows the thoughts and deeds of men
    11. G-d will reward the good and punish the wicked
    12. The Messiah will come
    13. The dead will be resurrected

Notice there is absolutely nothing within this set of 13 articles of faith that deals with the issue of the remission of individual or national sin. The blood sacrifice for the covering of individual or national sin is omitted completely. This is a man-made faith (Rambam) that ignores what God says in the Torah. Some Jews accept these articles, others treat them as a buffet of belief, pick and choose what you will follow. Yet, they all ignore that without the sacrificial blood covering for sin, direct communication to God through prayer, a personal relationship with God, is not possible.

The Word of God speaks directly to the problems inherent due to the effect of sin upon human nature. Rambam and therefore Jewish beliefs ignore this completely.

Finally, in Judaism, the Messiah (Mashiach) is a great human leader like King David, but is not a savior of men's souls. The Jews look and pray for the restoration of the Davidic line - a king from David's royal lineage, a descendant.

Do you see how these beliefs are basically setting up the Jews for the events of the 70th Week as prophesied by Gabriel and Jesus and Paul in Romans 11 and the prophets?

  15. Sean,
I could be wrong but Herod's temple did not have the ark of the covenant and the Levites performed their duties. Just not according to the scriptures.

    ReplyDelete
  16. jmoll106,

Yes, you're absolutely correct. The 1,945 years I referred to in my response to JG's questions dates directly to the destruction of the 2nd Temple by the Roman Legions in 70 AD, yet during the entire time of the 2nd Temple the Ark of the Covenant was never within the Holy of Holies. It had disappeared from the Temple, most likely by design of the Temple's defenders, as the conquering armies of Nebuchadnezzar made their approach to Jerusalem forty years after King Josiah had ordered it to be returned to the Temple Solomon had built as directed by God.

The Ark of the Covenant's last mention, as we know from the Bible, was when the Godly King Josiah in his 18th year on the throne (circa 614 BC; details are in 2 Kings 22 and 23; 2 Chronicles 35) ordered that it be returned to the Temple. It would have been placed at that time back into the Holy of Holies. This is the last mention of it in the custody of human hands.

Revelation 11:19 tells us that the Ark of the Covenant was taken by God, and is in Heaven. Deuteronomy 31 informs that Jeremiah hid it in a sealed cave on Mt. Nebo and it would remain there until God would regather Israel and show them mercy (2 Maccabees 2, non-canonical but interesting nevertheless because it is consistent with prophetic Scripture.)

  17. I love the story of King Josiah finding the book of the law and how he responded to it in 2 Kings 22 and 23. Not many would act with such fervency and commitment. The 2 Maccabees was very interesting. These are exciting times. It will be interesting to see it unfold in our day. (Preferably from God's throne.)
    Thanks, Jeff

  18. Sean,

Could Israel be finding the Temple Mount Chutzpah?

No Arab Women and Children Hecklers Allowed on Temple Mount

Arab women and children were barred from the Temple Mount on Tuesday following incessant harassment of visitors to the site.
