Global SITREP A4-16: IDF Northern Front Exercise

21 January 2016: The IDF has conducted a two-week long warfighting exercise along the entire length of the border with Lebanon and Syria. The objective of the exercise was to train up land, sea and airborne elements of the IDF for a protracted, simultaneous war against Hezbollah and Islamist elements operating in both Lebanon and Syria.

Head of the Northern Command Gen. Aviv Kochavi, right, speaks with IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, center, alongside head of the Operations Directorate Gen. Nitsan Alon, during a military exercise on January 20, 2016. (IDF Spokesperson’s Unit)
Northern Command General Aviv Kochavi recapped the scope of the simulated warfighting as encompassing vast maneuvers, substantial firepower and offensive, high efficiency strikes on thousands of targets, including residential areas being exploited by the terrorist forces. Concurrent with this exercise the IDF has deployed mechanized artillery in many locations opposite Gaza.

In this activity we can see major elements of the prophetic pre-70th Week wars being actively readied in advance by the IDF, and which are currently missing only the Sinai and Jordanian sectors in the full-scope of the Psalm 83 scenario. As with most military pre-war planning, first contact with the enemy usually requires the implementation of additional ad hoc vignettes into the overall war plan. The IDF has proven itself extremely adept in this regard in the past, and as is evident in the prophetic narrative on these coming wars.

  1. Is it true that israel has the 7th most powerful military in the world? I heard that somewhere a while back. Trying to remember where tho

  2. Most secular human rankings of Israel put the country somewhere between the 11th and 14th of the world's most powerful military forces. Such rankings are subjective, and I would argue them to be irrelevant in the case of Israel.

A truly comprehensive and constructive assessed ranking of Israel would include the immeasurable power of the Archangel Michael and his angels.

All of the military power on earth combined has zero chance of standing up against the Archangel.

    1. No fair! We rarely get those kind of snowstorms here in the Seattle area

  4. I'm very happy this storm is missing MA. We've been buried in snow the last few winters. I was visiting the homestead of President Calvin Coolidge and back then they even had a little woodstove in the mail carrier that was driven by 1 horsepower. :)

  5. Never thought I'd ever have to live through something worse than Superstorm Sandy, but Jonas is exactly that, and we still have another 16 hours to go yet.

  6. We have about 2 feet of the fluffy white stuff to dig out from tomorrow north of
Allentown,PA. Its seems two of the bulls-eyes were Washington D.C. and New York
City. Just wondering if this big snow storm is another warning from God that making bad deals with Iran that will hurt Israel is punishable by much worse if not stopped.
Just a thought? And both cities were totally shut down except emergency vehicles of course. Huh?

    1. Perhaps, but I'm more inclined to think of it as more birth pangs

  7. Wow, Superstorm Sandy knocked out our power for a week. Hang in there and keep a generator handy.

  8. IMHO, Jonas is definitively one of the birthpangs, God does not send judgment upon even one servant or righteous believer.

  11. Crazy amounts and types. All roads were impassable, even to emergency fire and police vehicles. Most that tried got stuck. Thousands w/o power. Digout will take days.
