Global SITREP A10-20: A Continuing Crisis with Apocalyptic Iran

The five Kataib Hezbollah sites
struk by CJTFOIR aircraft around Baghdad
UPDATED - 14 March 2020: With the Iranian Twelver leadership battling COVID-19 among their ranks, the order was given to their strongest Iraqi PMF proxy force, Kataib Hezbollah, to strike the CJTF-OIR base at Camp Taji north of Baghdad. Camp Taji is a coalition base populated by troops from the many nations in the anti-ISIS coalition and both the Iraqi Army and National Guard which they train.

CJTF-OIR aircraft struck the five targets in the illustration above. Those sites were storing Iranian-suppiled advanced conventional weapons. The strikes caused serious damage and killed several enemy combatants, possibly including an Iranian general. They were executed with the expectation that further Katyusha rocket attacks would not occur anytime soon. That expectation was in error.

This morning Camp Taji is under rocket attack once again with several rockets impacting the base in broad daylight. This attack is breaking news of the past half hour (04:20 AM EDT) so specific details are not yet known. However, Iraqi military sources say there have been casualties among personnel of the "Air Defense Command" at camp Taji.

The CJTF-OIR response should be imminent.

Update 28 March 2020: The military response did occur and it was massive. An entire IRGC-QF and Iraqi Shi'a militia base in Albukamal, Dier Ez-Zor Province, Syria was annihilated. Not a single above or below ground structure remains. Dozens of enemy troops were wiped out. The location is now just empty desert.

  1. The US Army’s central command chief, General Kenneth McKenzie Jr., considers that the strike by his country’s forces in Iraq was a clear message that the US will not accept any aggression against it, warning Iraqi militias from launching any similar attack and declaring that they will “pay the cost”.

“We have evidence that the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades fired a missile that killed three soldiers from the International Coalition forces,” announced General McKenzie in a press statement on Friday.

He added: “This strike sends a clear message that we will not accept any aggression against us,” pointing out that US aircraft carriers have an authorisation to attack if they detect any threat.

There is now a higher cost to be paid.

    2. That seems to be the current trend since Soleimani's abrupt removal. No wonder al-Qa'ani is keeping a very low profile. Ditto for Nasrallah.

  7. Nick,

I think these things are all part of a process.

However, there's also some event to come that will break the Iranian Twelver regime's back. That event is likely related to their nuke program.

  8. Amazing. 71 years of hostilities between Arab and Jew brought to a screeching halt by 2019-nCoV.

Still not even 1 infection detected in Gaza. Bethlehem and Tulkarem in lockdown.

Yes, we're still in "the beginning of sorrows" that Jesus spoke of. I think I may need to address this.

  10. What we are experiencing these days is verbatim what Jesus prophesied to His disciples on the Mount of Olives... Matthew 24:3-8. (Bold emphasis added)

"3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, [b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows."

  11. I'd like to ask 2 question about this Bible passage above (Matthew 24:3-8:

    1. When He said, "but the end is not yet" by the word "end" did He mean His Second Coming? I mean, the Second Coming as "the end point" of the end times. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think that the starting point of the whole 7 year tribulation period is "the end". Rather His Second Coming.

    2. "the beginning of sorrows" What did the Lord mean by "sorrows"? Is it the tribulation period itself?

Because I've heard the explanation before that "the sorrows" is the end times in general which even included the previous 2 world wars. But I'm not sure about this interpretation. On the other hand IF "the sorrows" refers to the 7 years long tribulation itself... and we entered the beginning of these times, the rapture must be really close.

  12. Nora,

The context is in the passage it self. Jesus was responding to His disciples questions in verse 3.

In v3 'the end' is synteleia, meaning entire completion, consummation, end.

But the end of what? The world, or the end of the age? Most accept the meaning to be the end of the age, or the current dispensation, the Church age, which ends with the Harpazo.

Read carefully we see Jesus' response in v6 used a different word for 'the end'. Here He said "telos" meaning a period of time, i.e. an age, specifically referring to the Church age, which would not begin until Pentecost.

Verse 8 in Greek (And Mark 13:8 is identical) 'the beginning of sorrows' is "arche odin" meaning "the first of sorrows" - specifically with respect to the birthpangs. These thing, which we witness in real-time, are those sorrows prior to the 70th week of years.

To this I will add a very relevant verse in exegesis: 1 Thessalonians 5:3. This verse refers specifically to the post-Ezekiel 38/39 fulfillment and the confirmation of the covenant among many by Antichrist.

  13. Sean, I've heard a lot of believers comment on this virus as a possible "last call to board" for the trip in the Rapture. I know that you've mentioned a belief in a 7 day warning by the Holy Spirit, akin to what God did in Gen 7:4, in regards to the rapture. What are your thoughts in regards to these types of comments?

  14. I think calling COVID-19 a "last call" for the Harpazo of the bride of Christ is NOT inspired of the Holy Spirit.

Such statements are ill-advised at best; harmful at worst.

The Harpazo is a signless prophetic event.

If it were true to Holy Spirit in ALL OF US would be in agreement that the time had come.

    Suggested Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2

  15. Amen! Thank you Sean. I know we're all waiting impatiently for the trumpet to sound, but refraining from adding stumbling blocks to those who are still babes in Christ is helpful and a timely admonishment. God Bless you and your's.

  18. Special Note: Always scanning the heavens for rare or unique things, finally something has appeared and its getting brighter and brighter. It's got a name too, Comet ATLAS, and it has not been in this part of our solar system in about 6,000 years.

It's soon going to be visible with the naked eye for everyone living in the northern hemisphere (the majority of the world"s population).

    1. I need to add, Comet ATLAS is named for the scientific observatory which first spotted it, the Asteroid Terrestrial Last Alert System (ATLAS).

Also, Comet ATLAS has no implied or actual religious or prophetic significance, and none shall be applied to it on Eschatology Today.

The closest approach to Earth is currently estimated to be around 23 million miles thus eliminatinating it from being a prophetic earth impactor.

  19. Does the international Covid 19 shutdown mark the beginning of the shmita year?
Shmita years are years when no commerce was to take place. Jewish Hebrew year starts on March 26. Is this a perfect Timing?

  21. What is the prophetic significance of 6 April 32 AD?

This is the day that Jesus literally fulfiled Gabriel's prophecy in Daniel 9:25.

This is the day Jesus presented Himself to Israel as "Messiah the Prince" by entering Jerusalem on a donkey.

This is the day which ended the 69th week of years, exactly 483 years after King Artaxerxes decree to the Jews to return and rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple.
