UPDATED 25 May 2023: As posted here recently, the legion of Indications and Warnings (I&W) for a major event occurring in Iran continue apace.
The civilian insurrection against the Twelver regime has ramped up despite, and in fact due to the numerous death sentences carried out against captured protestors. Voices within Israel say direct support to the civilian protestors is the best course of action. Were it not for the apocalyptic Twelver's nearly realized nuclear weapons ambition, this would be an excellent course of action, and in truth, is likely in-progress. However, it's not enough to cork the nuclear genie in a bottle.
The prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 indicates both a civil uprising and external swords being brought against the Twelver regime. This is a relatively long-term process of the Lord's declared judgment being meted out; to be sure it is a near-term yet drawn-out catastrophe for Iran. As as Jeremiah's prophetic Scripture makes clear, the ancient province of Elam is ground zero for the unfolding judgment. For their part, the Twelver's recently reiterated that any military attack upon their nuclear facilities and defense installations will result in all-out war. The regime is woefully ignorant of the Lord's hand holding against the "foremost of their might." A rude awakening and ultimate cause dismay among the regime's clerics.
In Jeremiah the prophecy is very specific in naming that part of modern Iran which was ancient Elam. Ancient Elam occupied a large portion of southwestern Iran. It is where Iran's nuclear crown jewel is located at Bushehr, and several other of Iran's clandestine nuclear sites are also located. When Israel's leadership decides to strike and neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat, as was done in Iraq (1981 at Osirak south of Baghdad) and Syria (Al Kibar, Deir Ez-Zor province) previously, the region of ancient Elam will be the focus. This region in total encompasses the provinces of Bushehr, Fars, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Lorestan and Ilam.
As Jeremiah's prophecy makes clear, this is where Iran's judgment through military action (the sword) begins. This is where the foremost of their military might is located. Much of the rest of Iran's external military power as controlled by the IRGC Qods Force (QF) is itemized in the below graphic.

Iran tested a long range ballistic missile today that is reported capable of striking Israel with a nuclear weapon. Right on cue, Hezbollah's Hassan Nasrallah threatened Israel with complete destruction in the coming war.

The U.S. and France both condemned Iran's LRBM test today. The Kheibar LRBM is a new system specifically designed to send a nuclear warhead 2000 miles down range.

I’ve been watching Israel, the ME, & Russia since 9/11 almost continuously. Israel has waffled so much in following GOD (even from an Old Testament/ Torah perspective), falling short of fulfilling the beacon of light Israel could have been, and cried wolf about Iran over and over for 20 years as they waited for them to master breakthroughs.

All Israel has been subject to Deuteronomy 29:4, for the most part, ever since the Covenant was given by Moses at Horeb. There have also been Godly men who He has used to lead them throughout history, otherwise they'd not have survived to be reborn as a nation 75 years ago. The will of God is absolutely being done with respect to "all Israel shall be saved" as both Isaiah and Paul wrote. The prophetic, living Word of the LORD God will be fulfilled explicitly as it was written, and it will occur in the next few years, especially following the Harpazo of the Bride of Christ. The update for this SITREP will expand the interpretive understanding of Jeremiah 49:34-39 and Ezekiel 38/39 with respect to Iran. We can think of these two imminent prophecies as a type of Act I and Act II. Posting later today.

I agree, Sean. I think Tim LaHaye may have had it right when he wrote his Left Behind series to stage the Harpazo concurrently with the destruction of the Gog coalition. It would make sense that these two events could be the intro to the unbelieving world of the existence of a supernatural God! A blessing (Blessed Hope) and a cursing (Gog's destruction).

By the way... there's a near 100% probability of hostile action (war in space) occurring in orbit above the earth (the ultimate high ground). There is no reason for them to have this outside of a weapons program. Sorry for the length of this. Just trying to make sense of this current deal with Iran and how this plays out with the Jeremiah 49 prophecy.

The only thing that matters is what God has said through His prophets, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
Those words will be fulfilled exactly, explicitly as written. Iran's regime will be under the sword; the four winds indicate it comes from all directions.
Also, there are no prophetic words in Jeremiah 49:34-39 about any country coming under the sword except for the region of ancient Elam.
However, this prophecy does not exist in a vacuum. It appears to be directly related to the prophecy of Isaiah 17 and also Jeremiah 49:23-27. Israel survives and emerges victorious over these enemies.
As for Biden, he is a prolific liar and exceedingly corrupt, his agenda will not prosper. And we know from Scripture whoever comes against Israel is harshly judged by God, be it an individual or a national regime. All of the Lord's prophets make this very clear.
And... in addition, Gabriel informs us through the prophet Daniel that the Archangel Michael and his angels fight for and defend Israel in these last days. There's no confusion in any of this about anything, no man or nations of men withstand an angelic army, it's no contest.

DeleteAlso the UN IAEA yesterday announced they have officially closed the books on the Fordow 87.3% enriched uranium investigation and the Abadan man-made uranium investigation. The IAEA accepted the Twelver's impossible explanations (blatant lies) at face value.
This increases the probability of Israel unilaterally launching strikes against these Iranian nuclear sites.

DeleteOne thing I don't get, and I would love it if you would explain it to me, Sean, is that Pakistan has the bomb as well as North Korea. Pakistan is an Islamic nation who would have no problem passing a nuke or two at the right price (as well as nuclear technology and everything else to boot) and North Korea is a starving nation who has little to loose.

DeleteNorth Korea and Iran have been swapping nuke and missile technologies for a very long time, so my suspicion - which cannot be proven - is that Iran has what it needs for a working weapon.
The consensus is that the clerical leadership has not decided to assemble the device, but will do so when they perfect the delivery system. That could take as little as 12 days when the order is given to assemble. This is what Israel is very closely tracking.
Pakistan's A.Q. Khan passed a lot of nuke tech to Iran some time ago.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, in his speech before the Agency's Board of Governors, says that "for the first time, the Agency installed a monitoring device for the enrichment at the Purdue and Natanz facilities. Grossi: "This will help us identify more quickly any changes in the levels of enrichment in these facilities." (cue head scratching and crickets) Ohhhhhhh, so NOOWWW they're able to install a monitoring device. Funny, and just when it seems that Israel is getting to a point to attack. But why? Oo, Oo....I know, that way they can spew all their filthy lies saying see Iran is cooperating and point and put the blame on Israel.
But then again, I could very well be way off base.

ReplyDeleteThe U.S. troops and support contractors serve as a type of buffer between Iranian forces (IRGC-QF and proxies) and their objective of attacking Israel directly. The objective of the campaign is to force a hasty U.S. military withdrawal from Iraq and Syria via high body count. Initial attacks will likely be via IEDs of the formed penetrator (FPIED) type used extensively against U.S. forces in Iraq several years ago when hundreds were killed or maimed for life. Iran wants to set conditions to result in a hasty US withdrawal a la Afghanistan. Iran would then be able the launch a coordinated ground war against Israel.
There's a also a possibility of Russian forces in Syria supporting the Iranian objectives in direct contact with U.S. armored patrols in northeastern Syria.
If not mistaken, and if allowed to proceed, this operation could be the often threatened retaliation for the assassination of IRGC-QF commander BG Qassem Soleimani.
