Global SITREP E2-14: 2015 Crescendo Coming

9 November 2015: I used the metaphor in SITREP D10-14 of the proverbial can having been kicked in darkness down the road as far as possible. Now I'm going to revise that to say there's more than one can, there are several of them. I think 2015 will be the year in which the real issues these cans represent either explode or are tossed into the rubbish bin of history. Many of these cans have their origins in the actions or inactions of the Obama Administration. These are the crescendos coming in 2015.

One of the most urgent is the Iranian nuclear issue. Under the U.S. Obama Administration the artifice of negotiating with Iran's Shi'a jihadists over their nuclear program may have all but resulted in the Ayatollah's possession of several Islamic bombs and Israel's realization that: a) PM Netanyahu has been thoroughly deceived, or b) the intelligence data Israel is likely to have provided to the US and IAEA was summarily ignored.

This morning all of Israel has been publicly informed in a published report in the UKs The Sunday Times that there are likely five times as many advanced design uranium enrichment centrifuges operating in Iran than are involved in the negotiation process. This means that even if Iran were to agree to halt the spinning of a thousand centrifuges, they'd still have another four thousand spinning their way to a fissile core for their weapons. The net result of this outright deception hands the Ayatollah his nukes and checkmates Israel through its acquiescing to the negotiations vice striking the Iranian program while it had every chance to do so.

This news comes from Olli Heinonen, the man who most recently was the IAEAs Deputy Director General of Safeguards. Heinonen now says Iran have have operational five times as many of the advanced carbon-fiber IR-2m centrifuges than Iran has admitted to possessing. The IR-2m centrifuges are also five times more effective than the obsolete IR-1 Iran has used in years past.

So, where did Olli Heinonen get this new data? From "intelligence sources" which revealed that Iran had previously acquired the raw materials to have constructed several thousand IR-2m centrifuges beyond the one-thousand they've admitted to have operational, and that they have have them operational or on standby at enrichment sites beyond Natanz and Fordow. The deadline for an agreement between the E3/EU+3 (a/k/a P5+1) and Iran over its nuclear program is just 15 days away (24 November).

Prophetically, Jeremiah 49:34-39 is the only Scripture we have to begin to understand what the future holds. On Eschatology Today we have discussed this prophecy at length previously over the past three years (SITREP B5:14; SITREP B7-13 and in "Jeremiah 49: Will a Coalition of Nations Move Against Iran?"). There is also Bill Salus' outstanding and highly recommended book published in July 2014, "Nuclear Showdown in Iran: Revealing the Ancient Prophecy of Elam."

  1. Sean,

I sure hope the Iran can isn't kicked into 2015. I'm really trying my best to be patient here, but I just don't understand what Israel is waiting for?

Why have they not acted already, and what benefit could they possibly get by waiting yet another year?

It's downright infuriating to see the Iranians continue their nuclear march while threatening our destruction on a daily basis, all while our own president and his party help them cross the finish line.

  2. Hi Sean,
I reread your SITREP about Jeremiah 49:34-39 that explained each verse.
When I read what you thought verse 38 meant, a nuclear holocaust for Iran, I thought about other places in the Bible where God's enemies
received exactly the same brutality they wanted to inflict on Israel.
I remembered Egypt's last plague came from the mouth of pharaoh, that being the death of Israel's first-born but instead it was the first-born of Egypt. And then I remembered Haman who had the gallows built for Mordecai only to hang on them himself along with his sons. So I would tend to agree with your conclusion that Iran will be the country nuked and not Israel. Praise be to an everlasting God that never changes. Israel is forever!!

  3. Sean,

It would seem to me that if, in fact, Netanyahu has missed the window to take action-be it because our dictator has strong-armed him, or he was somehow paralyzed as a leader , this opens the door for God to do as He promises in Jer 49:-34-39. God repeatedly says "I will" in response to destroying Elam's power and might. How that happens has been on my mind throughout the whole Iranian debacle. I truly believe God is going to move…when it looks the darkest. Neither the US, UN or Israel has stopped this proliferation by Iran. God will. We are truly living in the end times, and watching the story unfold daily. God bless, and thank you for your always interesting and thought-provoking posts.

  4. Mark,

We'll know soon enough and I think definitely by the time Israel's increased number of allies in Congress are sworn in come January 2015. A "reduction in force" lies in Iran's immediate future.

  5. Rhonda,

Yes, Iran thinks of itself as dwelling securely within the coast lands (of the Persian Gulf), tucked away behind the Straits of Hormuz. But no nation can hide from the Lord's judgment.

Israel will suffer greatly in the coming war, Isaiah 17 makes this very clear.

However, there is no direct mention of Iranian involvement in Psalm 83 or Isaiah 17, but a link to Jeremiah's prophecy is implied within Ezekiel 38/39.

  6. I think I goofed again. I just read Exodus 11 about the last plague on Egypt and it was God who told Moses the next plague would be the death of Egypt's firstborn. I was remembering some movie magic from "The Ten Commandments" the
movie. So off topic, sorry. I have the same question as Mark3210
'Israel, what are you waiting for?'

  7. I heard rumors that obama sent letters secretly to Iran basically implying that if they help fight IS then they basically can keep their nukes. Is there any truth to that or is it a bunch of malarkey? I have a hard time believing it.

  8. Question: Where in the Lord's prophetic word does it say that Israel will be the sword He brings against Iran?

Answer: The Lord's prophetic word does not say this.

The Lord's prophetic word in Jeremiah 49:35b through 38 actually says: "I will... I will... I will... I will... I will... I have... I will"

So why are some impatiently waiting for something to happen which is not within the Lord's prophetic word?

Read Jeremiah 49:34-39 again and again if necessary in order to find out what we should be expecting to occur at the appointed time He has determined.

  9. Ld,

I didn't see your comment in the moderation list until early this Monday morning; I posted it immediately. You have the correct understanding, with there being just a slight correction to add.

The Lord's repeating of "I will..." in Jeremiah 49:34-39 ... (something that I have pointed out here previously) ... concerning what He has determined for Iran is the correct interpretation -- however -- this determination of the Lord's is not due to some human condition or failure or inability of Israel to act in the modern day.

The Lord determined this "I will..." against Iran and laid it upon Jeremiah to prophesy over 2,600 years ago, well before Jerusalem was sacked and Judah carried away into the Babylonian captivity in 587 BC.

    To all:

This is important stuff, and we all must understand that for this and many other prophesies Jeremiah was hated by the Jews of Jerusalem and Judah. He was persecuted and threatened with death, beaten, and put into stocks and then thrown into a cistern. The Jews, even those of his own tribe, accepted many false prophets and rejected Jeremiah who was a true prophet of God. They held this view of Jeremiah until after the Babylonians and Nebuchadnezzar had taken them all away and Jeremiah's prophecy was fulfilled. This type of misunderstanding continues to this vary day in modern Israel. Jeremiah is very much a book of prophecy for our time also. It should be read and studied carefully.

  10. Whatever happens in Iran Israel will be blamed. A major earthquake or series of earthquakes could happen (on the spot of nuclear facilities) and burry their nuclear ambitions for good.

For sure, Israel will blamed for any natural disaster.

  11. My favorite books of the bible are Jeremiah and Lamentations and it hasn't always been real easy to understand but I know that our Heavenly Father has filled those pages with a Golden Storehouse of information for US.

As I was reading the comments with this newest posting, I became aware of something that I don't really understand so I am posting it for all of you that are part of Sean's (and of course, SEAN's) input.

I haven't understood the procrastination of Israel's leadership in dealing with Iran (Persia). But just a few seconds ago, I had this dropped into my inner most being: "Too many fronts to engage right now." I know Hamas is doing their thing in GAZA, the northern front has Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Syrian border, but add to this that Hamas has a new group added to their contingency. So the ranks of Hamas is now closer to 10 thousand.

Taking on Iran right now would ensure that Syria, Russia, Iran, possibly Turkey and most notable would be the very false ISIS which has, for all intents and purposes, the end desire to be ISIL. ISIL is a huge like minded group of head choppers salivating about Israel and the USA.

Now, that has to be one CAN of WORMS we don't really want to kick down anymore dark streets or alleys. The only CAN I desire to kick anywhere right now is occuping 1600 Penn. Ave; a very well known edifice.

Now back to my favorite book and learning more from ABBA.

  12. Hi Sean,
As far as Iran is concerned, I see the chronology of Jeremiah 49 to be in line with the Ezekiel 38/39 prophecy, when God shows His mighty hand against Gog and His hordes. It seems Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 would be what is next on the schedule of prophetic events. As for the harpazo, I'm still praying for some family members to come to Christ so the full number can come in. :) IMHO. PS. If my family members are the last ones, I`m going to raze them for eternity for making the rest of us wait so long. (Just a joke)
    God`s blessings to you all.

  13. NG,

I understand the pro-Israel sentiment completely.

However, Israel gets falsely blamed for lots of stuff by Muslims, but getting blamed for an earthquake or a series of earthquakes, particularly in the Islamic Republic of Iran, has not been one of those things.

An interesting fact is that Iran has endured 19 significant earthquakes (magnitude 6.0 to 7.8) that have caused more than 100,000 fatalities in the 35 years since the Shi'a Islamic Revolution. The Bam earthquake (Kerman Province) of 2003 alone killed a minimum of 50,000 people (half of the city's population) and devastated the province as a whole.

Iran did not blame Israel for this most devastating of earthquakes.

Iranian scientists and the regime itself understands the plate tectonics at work under Iranian territory that cause earthquakes somewhere in the country virtually every day of the year, every year. One day they may move the capital from Tehran which is overdue for a major quake like the one which destroyed Bam a decade ago.

Now, a little more importantly, if earthquakes were to be the cause of what is to befall Iran according to the prophet Jeremiah, then I think the Lord might well have instructed him to prophesy that detail.

Instead Jeremiah's prophecy is about a war that occurs which, first and foremost, destroys Iran's primary weapons system. That action lays Iran bare (Heb. chathath) before her enemies who shall then consume them with unrelenting war.

  14. jmoll106,

Even though I have stated that I think "a link to Jeremiah's prophecy is implied within Ezekiel 38/39," it is only an implication; there is no direct linkage.

That issue being what it is, there is also a pretty significant problem within the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 that has to be addressed:

What is the reason for the judgment the Lord has determined to bring upon Iran?

There is usually justification given for the Lord's bringing judgment against an entire nation, but within the verses of Jeremiah 49:34-39 that aspect is absent.

Now I have to study and inquire to find out why this appears to be so.

  15. Hi Sean,

    Thanks for your thoughts.

I suggested Israel would be blamed in case of earthquake in Iran since I remember that at some point in the past there were some French conspiracy (and antisemitic) websites that more or less concluded that some (recent, at the time) earthquakes had been triggered by some secret Israeli weapon. They said Israeli was testing this new fantastic weaponry against Iran before using it to down Temple Mount mosques.

This was total nonsense but it was on opportunity for them to add a new category of crimes committed by the Hebrew state: natural disasters.

The right wing is very antisemitic in France, they believe in a "replacement theology" of their own that teaches that God's covenant with Israel was nullified since the Jews killed the messiah (nothing new I know) and the new Chosen people are of course them, France.

It's really a shame but they will then find any pretext to blame the Jews and Israel.

It is what I had in mind when I said that whatever happens in Iran, some will take the opportunity to spit on the Jewish state.

  16. NG,

That 'new covenant' view of the French far right is something I was not aware of.

I am aware of the Islam-driven anti-Jewish (a/k/a anti-Zionist) hatred in the French Republic, but I was unaware of organized far right groups (like the FN) having a pseudo-Christian new covenant theology of this sort. I read recently that the FN leader, Marine Le Pen, was trying to bring French Jews into her political orbit, not ostracize them. There are also very restrictive "speech laws" in France, where saying things such as this will get one in deep legal troubles.

I will look into this further because it has the potential of one day playing right into the demonic narrative of the EU antichrist.

For the current time this 'new covenant' view will definitely alienate them from the half-million diaspora Jews still living in France.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hi Sean, it's all about Marine's father: Jean-Marie, who founded the FN back in 1972.

Marine, who has been leading the FN since 2011 is trying to distance herself from her father for more respectability. She is looking to improve relations of the FN with the Jewish community but in the other hand she is an openly big fan of Vlad Putin.

Marine's strategy for respectability has worked well so far.

FN is now France's first party, which was unthinkable some five years ago.

They scored a mammoth 25% of votes at the European parliamentary elections last June and if weak president Francois Hollande (who is scoring only 13% in latest opinion polls) decided to call for new parliamentary elections, we would witness a shockwave of biblical proportion (If I may say) with FN winning many, many seats.

About Jean-Marie Le Pen (JMLP) and this specifically French "new covenant" I will look to email you some details. I know JMLP made a speech back on May 1st 2010 or 2011 (if I remember well) in which he talked about this in details.

  18. Sean,

.....What is the reason for the judgment the Lord has determined to bring upon Iran?
After re-reading Jeremiah and Ezekiel and since all christians are taken in the rapture in all countries, the only other people left on earth that belong to God are the Jewish people. (At that moment). Wouldn't that leave only enemies of God left to judge in these countries?. Thus God showing His mighty hand to Israel by destroying Gog and those who come with Gog ie..Iran
Thanks for all your input. I constantly pray the eyes of my understanding would be enlightened.

  19. jmoll106,

In the eschatological scheme of events, I'm of the belief that Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, followed by Jeremiah 49 and Ezekiel 38/39 are all pre-70th Week events.

That may mean there is a distinct possibility that one, some or all of these and other related prophecies will come to fulfillment prior to the Harpazo, with the Bride of Christ being eyewitnesses to the fulfillment(s).

I also think the Harpazo occurs very near to Ezekiel 39:29.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sean,

In your above comment, you stated that you believe the order for the pre 70th week wars will be: Ps 83, Is 17, Jer 49, and Ezk 38/39.

But in the comment section of Jer 49: Will a coalition...? In response to Mark, in Sept 17, 2010, your order was different, (Is 17, Ps 83, Ezk 38/39) then on Apr 27, 2012, you agreed with hartdawg that Jer 49 had to preceed Ps 83. My question is this...what made you change the order in which you believe these events will come to fruition?

(I admit I haven't read thru all your posts on Jer, and I'm recovering from an illness, so forgive me if I'm confused).

Thank you for all that you do, I enjoy this blog very much, even if I don't normally comment. Thank you for your service, and for standing on the wall. God bless.

  21. Hi Juli,

Thanks for posting a comment, especially one like this which is for a clarification of sequential fulfillments, and for the gratitude expressed. Thank you for all of this.

First, may the Lord bless you richly with an even speedier recovery. Get well soon!

I the post above I should not have used the words "followed by" in front of Jeremiah 49. I should have written: "I'm of the belief that Isaiah 17, Psalm 83 and Jeremiah 49 followed by Ezekiel 38/39 are all pre-70th Week events." This is the prophetic order of fulfillment that I subscribe to.

To explain in detail, I agreed with hartdawg that Jeremiah 49:34-39 should precede Psalm 83 because there is no eschatological evidence whatsoever in Scripture of Iranian involvement in that great war.

For example, there is abundant evidence of Iranian involvement in the ongoing series of Gaza wars and with anything to do with Hezbollah in Lebanon and in Syria which has essentially become an Iranian client state, and now with Iran openly engaged in the arming of Palestinians in Judea and Samaria. So, in the great war of inner ring nations of Psalm 83 one would expect Iran/Elam to have been named in the Divine inspiration given to the singing prophet Asaph.

I have always been of the eschatological view that Iran, because it is directly associated in Ezekiel 38:5 with the likes of Libya and Sudan, would be at that time a much reduced military power from what it is today. Reduced to the extent that in Ezekiel 39 it is not repeated as Gog of Magog, Rosh, Meshech and Tubal are repeated by they are the primary military power involved.

I also would say that Jeremiah 49:34-39 comes to a complete fulfillment over the course of a decade plus a couple of years; that it concludes sometime during the 70th Week but prior to the arrival of the army of the kings of the east on their march toward the Euphrates valley.

As for Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17, Isaiah prophecy would appear to occur first because there is no mention of Syria (Aram - Damascus) in either the Psalm 83, Isiah 11 and especially Ezekiel 28:24-26 which is very specific as occurring prior to Ezekiel 38/39.

I hope this helps. God Bless and claim that speedy recovery in Jesus Holy Name!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes, Sean, that helps immensely! I like to keep notes, and that was something that "stuck out" if you know what I mean. I'll go back and revise what I wrote so as to not get confused later. (and no, your words don't take precedence over the Holy Word of the Lord, but they are appreciated). God Bless.

  23. Sean,

Thanks for the reply. I feel the more these things are talked about the more they sink in and I appreciate your insight.
Also above I noticed I wrote raze instead of razz (chide, kid). I think my spell checker might have changed it on me.

Juli..... My prayers are with you also.
