8 January 2019: During a Brussels meeting the European Union has enacted economic sanctions which are effective tomorrow against the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, alternatively known as VAJA, and two high ranking officers in the wake of their failed attempt to execute a political assassination in Paris. In late 2018 another Iranian attack failed in Denmark.
In addition to the sanctions, which freezes all Ministry of Intelligence assets in all financial institutions of the member states of the European Union, the EU also, without debate, designated the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and its two agents as international terrorists. Their names will be released to the public tomorrow morning (09JAN19) via the EU's Official Journal.
These are the kinds of EU actions which might cause the Iranians to abrogate the 2015 nuclear deal with the EU.

5 January 2019: The existing global order recently held its annual G20 meeting in Argentina on 30 November-1 December 2018. The G20 is a group of 19 nations plus the EU (represented by the European Commission and the European Central Bank). The purpose and agenda of the G20 has expanded significantly since its inception about 20 years ago and is today a form of global governance which functions primarily as a global economic council. It's members account for 90% of the world's GNP; 80% of global trade; two-thirds of the world population and 50% of the earth's land mass.
It was the RCC's Pope Francis' view in watching a video of the G20 summit that a unique truth that he understands had to be immediately communicated to his favorite non-believer journalist for world-wide dissemination. The journalist is Eugenio Scalfani of the Italian paper La Repubblica, and the Pope demanded at about noon last Thursday that Scalfani come to the Vatican for an audience in four hours time. The interview was published by La Repubblica in Italy and then picked up for global distribution by Agence France Presse.
The urgent message Pope Francis has for the the world is that he sees dangerous alliances emerging among the world powers. He says these world powers, the US, Russia, China and North Korea, all possess a distorted view of the world. According to the Pope the solution to these nations distorted worldview is that they must be brought under direct rule by a World Government as soon as possible for their own good.

No great surprise there, especially if you're watching even a little bit of what's going on in the world these days. Just days prior to the above demand from Pope Francis, while speaking to an assembled audience at the Vatican he also demanded that Christians must abandon the notion of their individual nation's maintaining mational sovereignty and embrace World Government in order to make the world a better place.
The Pope speaks dangerous yet prophetically-themed words. This is especially true when one considers Revelation 13. Eschatology Today assesses that the G20 could rupture at some point in the near-term future due to stresses and factures such as wars create and what emerges would be a functioning 10-nation council under one supreme head-ot-state as foretold in Revelation 13:1.

ReplyDeleteA lot of Christians and those claiming to be so get downright mad and irritated when you want to discuss what is going on today and how it relates to what the bible says about these times. Personally I can't wait to shed this broken down skin suit I now inhabit and get my glorified body and be stuck at 25 or 30 yrs old for an eternity. ReplyDeleteThe topic is fearsome, as it should be. On the flip-side of all that's good about the return of Jesus is the finality of the eternal state of friends and family who will not accept the truth about God. And the doubt some have about themselves.
I see it a lot in my circle of relationships and while I look for the Lords return, I also fear for the people I love who don't believe the truth. All I can do is pray.

ReplyDeleteIt's been my experience to learn that a reaction involving anger and irritation over a dialog about 'last days' things stems directly from the lack of assurance of one's eternal condition. Oftentimes this is due to pride and the unwillingness to acknowledge one's sinful nature and the necessity to accept the grace provide through Jesus' sacrifice.
All one can do after telling someone the gospel truth is, as Vincent said, pray they make the most important decision to accept His Gift of forgiveness and life eternal.

The English word 'pope' does not mean "holy father." This word derives from the Latin 'papa' which derives from the earlier Greek word 'pappas' both of which simply mean 'father.'
The manner in which the Roman Catholic Chruch (RCC) regards and teaches about the pope, a/k/a the bishop of rome, and how this blog regards him are polar opposites. W
Eschatology Today believes that the RCC teaches and what Scripture teaches are greatly at odds. What the RCC teaches is not in continuity with what Scripture teaches. N
For example and in case there is any doubt: Nowhere does Scripture declare that Peter was in authority over the other apostles or of the church in general. Nowhere does Scripture declare that the bishop of rome was in authority over other bishops of the church. Peter himself declared that Paul's teaching and writings were of the same category as Scripture.
This is where the men of the RCC created their original and sustained error. Scripture is the sole arbitor of what is true and what is not; all things are weighed in relation to what the Lord has said in Scripture. Scripture is infallible because it is God-breathed. Christ exists in Heaven and on this earth in the form of the Holy Spirit that is within each of us. The Holy Spirit will guide the Bearean believer to the Scripture that addresses his/her concerns.
I hope this explains I used the terms "the RCC's Pope Francis" and thereafter as simply the Pope, as that distinguishes this man from the rest of the spirit-filled Bride of Christ.

He also said, "I hope for a ceasefire that holds until the end of 2019 — when we can complete the barrier.” The barrier he was referring to is an underground wall around Gaza to prevent the construction of tunnels into Israel.

It does state in the article that conditions are now being put into place as part of the withdrawl that says that no harm will come to the Kurds.
I mean to go from straight calling for the withdrawl now to now holding off and now adding preconditions.

ReplyDeleteIt is essential to see current events in the same light as existed during the last presidential election cycle. We have to remain mindful of what Donald J. Trump ran against in the 2016 election. He was, and remains, the populist Make America Great Again standard bearer. The consumate Washington DC Outsider. The non-politician and expert in The Art of the Deal.
His opponents were then as they are today: Globalists, the increasingly radical Left of the Democrat Party, the whole of the 'Fake News' media establishment.
There was, and remains, the Washington DC Establishment RINOs. The so-called 'Never Trumpers." Recall 'Drain the Swamp' was one of several rallying crys. RINOs are career DC swampers.
This opposition did not go away, they still inhabit the swamp. And several found ther way inside the Trump Administration, and were working against Trump from the get-go. They opposed him at every turn; gave very bad counsel - all the while the disloyal opposition in the Justice Department, in the courts, and in the Congress attempted to remove him from office in a silent coup d'etat. Witch hunt - which is still in-progress.
Keeping this opposition crew off balance became one of Trump's primary tactical resources. Trump's off the cuff tweets and statements served this purpose and have been very useful in exposing the Establishment RINOs within his Administration. Kelly and Mattis being the current primary examples. Israel was never in any danger from Trump's announcement, nor were our Kurdish allies in Syria.
So, Trump made a policy statement as the CiNC about a quick withdrawal from Syria and it caught EVERYONE off guard. EVERYONE except his closest inner circle. It came out of the blue sky of left field. True, Trump wants our troops to be withdrawn from Syria, but not in the manner he announced. It was a statement without any pre-planning, no time table. A fragmentary order (FRAGO) for which further instructions would follow.
Mike Pompeo and John Bolton are just this week providing the first of the further instructions. And Kelly and Mattis who were acting against the CiNC were exposed as such and dismissed themselves by resignation. They both fly into the MIddle East, back-to-back, for face-to-face briefings with our allies in the region - execpt for Turkey which is no ally.
Another result is now apparent on the ground in Syria. Russian (Wagner Group mercenaries) and Iranian proxy forces have been rushed in large numbers to the Euphrates River valley from the Turkish border to the Iraqi border. This removed them from being in large numbers on the Israeli border. With this as background, watch what happens next...

Numerous are the prophecy teachers who have long looked for Babylon to be physically rebuilt in the last days. They're all 100% wrong.
As Peter wrote in his first letter from Rome, he was in "Babylon" and Mark was with him.
We are all living in Babylon today, and when Jesus comes for us, He will take us out of Babylon.

ReplyDeleteIndeed we are in 'Babylon' and until we hear His Shout, we will be. Babylon is a very clear mind set and gentile form of government but so much more. I am not as capable of stating my content any longer and until the Holy Spirit removes all of the binders off of my memory I restrict myself to limited comments. I am still expecting my total healing and at least now I can fulfill what HE instructed me one day while undergoing more testings. HE said "stand straight, tall and walk normal!!!" A very clear and forceful command and at the time I was bent like pretzel and hurt like crazy, walked like an OLD WOMAN! That is no longer true and I am fulfilling what HE commanded me to do, one step at a time.
Take care and Babylon will be totally eliminated very soon.

ReplyDeleteYes, and precisely as my assessment I&W in the 30DEC18 update to SITREP E4-18: Daniel 8 predicted would occur. Eleven days passed and the strikes which occurred this morning at Damascus International and Kiswah and possibly another select site or two in Syria were executed.
