Global SITREP B7-22: Russia's War in Ukraine - Phase III ("I Will Turn Thee Back...")

Russia's Military Defeat in Northern Ukraine

UPDATE 07 April 2022: Two days ago in the comments of this SITREP it was noted how Eschatology Today has viewed this war from the get-go based upon Ezekiel 38:4 and the importance of the Hebrew word shoob within that verse. There is a small gap of time between the first part and second part of that verse. The gap lies between "I will turn you around," and "Put hooks into your jaws and lead you out..." The turning around is now well underway and what remains unknown is the precise gap of time until the Lord inserts those prophetic hooks in the jaws. In that the overall prophetic narrative is moving along at what appears to be warp speed these days, well, it may not be a case of the Lord tarrying very much. "These things must take place" and that requires the passage of some minute passage of time as we understand the ticking of the clock.

The map image above, is the situation on the ground in Ukraine as of this morning, 07 April 2022. The map image below is from just over three days ago. What this new image and what all senior military leaders (both US and NATO commanders) are saying is that the mighty Russian military (army, navy, air force and rocket forces) have been thoroughly defeated in northern Ukraine. This is a stunning reversal. The hand of God as the One responsible for the turning around is evident, perhaps not to all of you, but definitely to yours truly.

Even Russian soldiers making unsecure phone calls to mothers, family members and girl friends back in Russia are admitting that they are being "whipped" by Ukrainian forces. In fact, in their hasty, no-time-to-waste, head-long flight out of the country, elite Russian units have abandoned their most devastating weaponry. These the Ukrainians promptly captured, made speedy repairs to in some cases, and then turned them upon their former owners. This weaponry notably includes the TOR-1A Buratino (featured early on in this SITREP series) thermobaric "vacuum" artillery system. Russian units were then given no rest and were further annihilated in full retreat. It's that ancient Hebrew "shoob" word that Ezekiel was inspired to use and its literal meaning in full display, at least for those like me who take the Lord's prophetic word literally.

And to think, this is just the beginning of woes to befall Russia's and her allies military forces as we approach the 70th Week of Years.

04 April 2022: The above graphic encapsulates the known and estimated combat losses suffered by the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the forty days of its invasion of Ukraine (24 FEB - o4 APR 2022). This is where Eschatology Today's SITREP coverage begins the clearly evident third phase of this war, which begins not only with this accounting, but also with the overwhelming and mounting evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity in just two of the dozens of Ukrainian suburbs and villages surrounding the capital Kyiv.

In the settlements Bucha and Irpin in Kyiv Oblast, which are nearly twin cities separated only by the Bucha River, the mass graves and many human corpses littering the streets are visible in satellite reconnaissance imagery. Bucha/Irpin are separated from Kyiv City boundary only by about one-thousand feet of the Irpin River basin. This is how close Russian armor came to entering the capital. Now the Ukrainian counter-attack has driven Russian forces back to the Belarus border along the entire axis of the west banks Dnieper River. Forced Russian retreat is also occurring along the east bank in the direction of Chernihiv, and east of Kyiv to a point well over 60 miles in the direction of Nizhyn. Map below.

It is in this third phase of the war that Russian forces are regrouping and being re-deployed south in an attempt to secure Luhansk, Donetsk and a land corridor along Ukraine's Azov Sea coastline to connect with Crimea. There's no way to determine the duration of this third phase, or its outcome, but the Lord's hooks will drag these armies to their destruction in Israel in days to come.

  1. There's a new problem that could un-do the anticipated outcome of this war.

Russia is bombarding the energy infrastructure in the critical Ukrainian port of Odessa. This is a Black Sea port that should be, perhaps yet will be, protected by NATO as essential to world energy supplies, in addition to the Russian energy port at Novorossisk.

Novorossisk is exporting Russian crude to India and China. By Russia explicitly bombarding the same type of export facilities in Odessa, Ukraine, the call for retaliation or in-kind reciprocity may be unavoidable and an escalation to a bigger war being a probable result.

  2. Russia will continue its war against Ukraine. The immediate objective is to conquer the eastern city of Kharkiv.

  3. Ukraine has won The Battle of Kyiv and the Battle for Northern Ukraine.

  4. Invading Russian forces are sending many tons of plunder and spoils stolen from Ukrainian civilians.

This plunder and spoil was taken to Belarus where it has been sold. It is also being sent directly to towns in Russia where the Russian forces are based.

Sound like a familiar prophetic theme from Ezekiel 38?

    1. This is my way of strongly suggesting that a word-for-word study of Ezekiel 38:4-13 in the Lexicon or Concordance of your choice be done to fully understand the prophetic message. May the Holy Spirit guide you.

It's not so much about an invasion of Israel, as it is about the people and their possessions - just as it is today in Ukraine.

    2. Which is to say...

I'm sure all rock-solid students of Biblical prophecy are aware of prophetic foreshadowing.

  5. One eye opener for me was that the attack was more from a hatred and desire to conquer rather than the spoils. I was incorrect. Thanks Sean

  6. Jmoll,

For me, from the get-go, it has always been the opening words of verse 4...

    "I will turn the back..."

Turn back? From where and from what.

It's the Hebrew word shoob that is key, and it was taken literally to mean "to turn back or backward, repel, defeat, repulse, hinder, reject, refuse."

This spoke to me of a direct military action north of Israel, and immediately prior to the military action against Israel.

Then the time comes for the "hooks" to turn Gog and the armies around and drag them to Israel... as in ancient times one would use hooks in a nose ring to lead cattle to slaughter.

  7. The Czech Republic, a NATO member, is the first to send tanks to Ukraine. They are similar in type to the T-72B3 Main Battle Tanks that Ukraine's army is very familiar with.

If tanks, why not jet aircraft?

  8. A brief history lesson.

Except for the apartheid regime of South Africa, economic sanctions have never removed a criminal regime (regime change) from power. Only successfully waged kinetic war has achieved regime change.

Short of war, death, assassination or a coup d'etat Vladimir Putin will not be removed from power unless God does it by His means.

    1. I'll roll the dice. Coup d'etat under the guise of failing health (real or otherwise). A very gentle coup d'etat, at least as the PR goes. The reality will be quite different, of course.

Putin is damaged goods at this point to the world community.

Which might make him just so desperate to open his cheek, so to speak.

    2. Jonathan,

We're all pretty much on that same page, even if tunneling through an absolute mountain of propaganda, disinformation and the like.

What we also know is that the Lord established kings and kingdoms or takes them away. He is in complete control of all things, especially as this present age winds down. It's all on "borrowed time."

  9. Recent hope for a negotiated peace agreement is all but dead and buried.

This is a fact now that Ukraine and the whole world has become witness to the war crimes Russian troops have committed in Ukraine - worse than anything the Nazi's did in WWII - only the body count was higher in WWII.

Today Russia's state media, RIA Novosti, opined that "Ukrainians need to be exterminated as most of them are Nazi's."

  11. According to OSINT data, Ukrainian group known as InformNapalm has identified Lieutenant Colonel Azatbek Omurbekov, (a/k/a 'the Butcher of Bucha') as the commander of the 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (i.e. Unit 51460) which occupied Bucha until 30 March 2022.

  12. An eschatological point of interest:

1.) The multi-polar global power structure foretold by the angel Gabriel to the prophet Daniel exists today.

All that is missing is the eleventh "little horn" in the West.

  13. What is also clear is that NATO is not just a European-North American military alliance, but a truly global military alliance.

This is evident in the ongoing two-day NATO foreign ministers meeting that has expanded to include NATO partner nation ministers representing Georgia, Finland, Sweden, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea.

There is an open door for all of them to full membership, and which no nation on earth has an over-riding veto power.

The presence of Ukraine's FM Kuleba at this NATO summit is worth paying close attention too, as a range of heavy weapons will be now be sent to thwart the expected and imminent major Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine.

  14. Sean any update on Israeli parliament coalition chair resigns, which may lead to another election?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Nick,

My understanding is that besides Silman other coalition resignations may occur leading to a solid Likud majority and a return of Bibi Netanyahu as PM after Passover.

Just in time for the inevitable military preemption of Iran's nuke program.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Just about everyone, except the Israeli's, is apparently sound asleep. No one has taken notice of PM Bennett's announcement yesterday that Iran now has amassed 50kg HEU.

In the early 1980s the PRC gave this same amount to Pakistan (AQ Khan) who promptly turned that 50kg into two fissile core for two nuclear weapons. This is open source and the internet never forgets, but people forget. That's the case today.

Israel's "Plan A" under Bennett's coalition government has been to allow the renewed JCPOA negotiations to proceed. Now that Iran has what it needs for two nukes (Remember also - AQ Khan gave Iran his nuke bomb blueprints, and during Netanyahu's tenure the Mossad stole them from Tehran's storage vault. Like I just said, the internet doesn't forget.)

So, Bennett just dropped the proverbial other shoe, which is Israel's "Plan B."

Use your God-given brain to figure out what "Plan B" might be. It won't take much thought at all.

  17. An Islamic jihadist has just attacked central Tel Aviv, multiple casualties.
This goes with the previous SITREP, but posting this here because of time constraints.

  18. It appears there are multiple jihadists attacking throughout Tel Aviv, from Dizengoff Street to the port area. Some reports have 15 dead and multiple others critically injured.

Maybe now folks will accept the premise of the previous SITREP - Israel is at War.

  19. Updated info:

2 dead, 8 wounded in Tel Aviv terrorist shooting attack at multiple locations in central Tel Aviv.

At least 2 dead, 8 wounded, including 4 seriously.

    Terrorist remains at large.

  20. It would appear that no one in central Tel Aviv took PM Bennett's advice to carry a weapon if they had a permit, and if not, get a permit to carry.

There might not have been such carnage in Tel Aviv if the advice were heeded.

Now Bennett is having large numbers of forces deploying into Tel Aviv.

  21. Naftali Bennett is on his way out as Israel's Prime Minister, and Bibi Netanyahu's Likud has a lock on the majority and will be the PM again in the new Knesset.

  22. UPDATE 10 April:

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has put General Aleksandr Dvornikov in charge of the country’s invasion in Ukraine as Moscow’s forces regroup after failing to capture the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, the BBC and The New York Times reported yesterday.

General Alexsandr Dvornikov, the commander of Russia’s southern military district, has significant combat experience in Syria, where he commanded Russian forces for a year beginning in 2015.

    1. FYI... Dvornikov is known for extreme brutality, a war criminal in Syria where execution of civilians was almost a sporting event for him.

  23. Russia's Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, has warned that any Western supply of weapons to Ukraine is a legitimate military target for Russian forces.

Antonov said in an interview that Western states are inciting "further bloodshed" by providing Kyiv with arms. He called these actions "dangerous" and "provocative" and said they could lead to confrontation between the U.S. and Russia.

Meanwhile in eastern Ukraine the government has made an urgent plea for the civilian population to flee to the western parts of the country.

The expected Russian offensive will be reminiscent of maneuvering armored divisions not witnessed since the great tank battles of World War Two, but far more destructive.

  24. Continuing in parallel to the Ezekiel 38/39 prophetic narrative...

The Russian Federation has issued a decree making military service in Ukraine mandatory for citizens of the now independent Central Asian Muslim countries of the former Soviet Union who hold dual citizenship in Russia and the nation of their birth - even if they've already completed a term of military service in their home country.

Now actively serving in the Russian invasion battalion tactical groups or being ordered to immediately report for duty are the military aged men of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan. There is no option to refuse reporting for service.
