Details: "Ukraine is massing a million-strong fighting force equipped with western weapons to recover its southern territory from Russia," The Times wrote.
Eschatology Today asks: How does a 100,000-man, demoralized, conscripted Russian army on foreign soil stand any chance of withstanding a highly motivated Ukrainian military force 10 times its size and armed with the best and most lethal and powerful conventional weapons the Western alliance has to offer?
Might the coming days and weeks show evidence of the Hand of God at work in a process of turning Russia's vaunted military force into a mere shadow of its former regard as an unassailable juggernaut; might this all be in preparation for the "hooks" to drag the Russian armed forces to its ultimate destruction of the mountains of Israel?
The old 20th Century "Cold War" era notion, used by all Bible prophecy interpretations for a minimum of the past 60 years no longer holds water in the second decade of the 21st Century - as the ill-conceived war in Ukraine has proven in the clear view of the whole world.
Eschatology Today answer: A new prophetic paradigm now exists and we are all seeing it manifesting before our eyes in real-time.

ReplyDeleteAfter watching the atrocities already committed against Ukraine, it wouldn't surprise me to see Putin use his tactical nukes against such a large force unless the west makes it clear what the cost would be to him.
Your right that the "old" interpretations of prophecy were just speculations on the "when" and "how" . At least they were partially right on the "who".
My prayer is God continue to enlighten His church and those who are watching that we might more accurately see what's coming on the world.
The darker it gets the brighter the watching church shines.
My first thought was that Putin's early threats of nuclear weapons use in Europe (tactical-Ukraine or strategic-London, UK) resulted in a behind-the-scenes NATO promise of swift-sure, in-kind, no-bluff retaliation.
DeleteSpirit-led prophecy tells us much, but it does not foretell everything to us. Hiroshima & Nagasaki 77 years ago are unmentioned, but we do know that much worse is in mankind's near future. Men will drop dead in fear of those events.
So, I think Russia is being prepped at this time, and certain aspects of Ezekiel's prophecy are being confirmed in advance (such as weapons being used as fuel for years afterwards).
These events are a great tool to witness with others as proof of inerrant Spirit-led prophecy.
The coming Russian military collapse in Ukraine is evidenced by their resorting to desperation in employing S-300 anti-aircraft missiles as inaccurate artillery rounds against Ukrainian apartment complexes housing civilians.

Ukraine's government has called for residents in the south, particularly in the Kherson region, to "urgently evacuate" the area - a great offensive to push Russian troops out is about to commence.

DeleteThe reason for the short notice evacuation is that you do not leave such a massive military force in crosshairs of Russian tactical or strategic rocket forces for long before leaning forward into direct contact with enemy formations.

ReplyDeleteIn the opening a Russian arty battalion was decimated in a M177 HIMARS strike; a line of burning equipment was imaged by Ukrainian drone afterwards.
The offensive is thus far described by UKR MoD as progressing slowly but methodically in avoidance of civilians being used as human shields.
Kramatorsk and Slovyansk will also be in the developing offensive.

DeleteThe Ukraine use of the HIMARS system in the past 24 hours resulted in the destruction of a Russian C2 base, killing another high ranking Russian General, and the destruction of a Russian ammo depot at Nova Kakhovka, 35 kms east of Kherson.
DeleteThe resulting first, second and third order detonations of ordnance will severely hamper Russian troops in the battle for southern Ukraine.

Seeing now that "developement" of Iran possibly helping Russia in Ukraine, maybe I'm wrong but that's the first time I've started to look at the Ukrainan war as a possible "cradle" for a new world war. (Not that people havent talked about world war fears before, I've considered it too but that might be a serious developement!) I mean, if that trend continued: a group of nations are helping Ukraine while a group of nations are helping Russia... Currently, it already seems like a weird "proxy WW". (And there's the Taiwan issue too, of course.)

The Kerch Bridge which links Crimea with Krasnodar Krai, Russia will be destroyed.
This objective will proceed step by step and at such a pace that it does not take years to complete.

However, Iran is a latecomer among the nations involved in the war in supplying weaponry, manpower and even non-lethal assistance to both of the prime combatants, and that fact made this war a world war a minimum of five months ago. Even Israel is a direct party to this war.

ReplyDeleteRussia and Iran are not the close allies many believe them to be. Ditto for Russia and Turkey, as well as Iran and Turkey. They cooperate when their interests or agendas align, otherwise they are competitors, if not adversaries.
The exception is where Israel is concerned, as Ezekiel 38/39 tells us.
Now, before Ezekiel 38/39 occurs there will be a military "neutering" of Iran's offensive capabilities (per Jeremiah 49).

Russian TV announced that if the US provides Ukraine with missiles with a 186-mile range, then Russia would invade Poland all the way to Warsaw.
ReplyDeleteThe "186 miles" (300 kms) range is a direct reference to the US-made ATACMS precision strike missile that can be launched from any of the 12 US-made M142 HIMARS MLRS systems currently devastating Russian assets at the 50-mile range in Ukraine.
Thus far Ukraine has been denied the ATACMS missile.
Russia will not dare to invade Poland, and that means there will not be an Article V war to erupt between NATO and the Russian Federation due to such an event. That notion is wild speculation bordering on wild-eyed conspiracy theorem. Simply put, it is rubbish!

#1) The Command and Control (C2) systems that launch offensive ballistic and air defense missiles. (Without a bow one cannot shoot arrows!) See Jeremiah 49:34-35.
2.) Then the nuclear sites would be pummeled into dust.
The resulting nuclear (radioactive) dust would likely result in a mass refugee exodus of of the Iranian people to other nations all over the world.
