Syria Continues Building Massive Chemical Weapons Facility Adjacent to Al-Safir Missile Base

19 February 2009: Here is an instance where a real-world reality very probably foreshadows the prophetic text of Isaiah 17 which cites a coming Middle Eastern war, a war in which weapons of mass destruction will be used, and a day of "disease and incurable pain." This war will result in the total annihilation of Damascus, Syria.

The image above is one of several that have been a part of the file maintained by GlobalSecurity.Org for quite some time now which details the immense and heavily defended chemical weapons (WMD) and missile launch site located at Al-Safir (vicinity of Allepo), Syria.

The Jerusalem Post reported this past Tuesday that additional extensive construction of the chemical weapons plant has been closely monitored over the past three years via new DigitalGlobe commerical satellite imagery. JPost reports that these images have been obtained by the world-reknowned British defense analysis group Janes.Com. One of the new images from Jane's is seen below

The Technological Base of Global Governance

17 February 2009: Let us take a look at an issue relating to technology as it relates to the coming Antichrist, his 'Beast" kingdom on this earth and how non- Harpazo peoples in the "Left Behind" world will view these prophesied events. Let us consider the key elements of the terrestrial power base of this coming global empire, an empire over all kindred, nations and languages. There is, as we should by now all be aware, an immense global military power associated with the Beast; a global imposed religious worship system of the man himself and no God above him, a global financial system which is prohibitive of buying and selling lest the greatest down to the least significant individuals have evident on their foreheads or right hands a specific mark indicating the name of the beast or the numerical equivalent of his name. Then we have the technology which drives and links the whole world into this Beast system of global domination.

Without question one of the most crucial technologies supporting this system will be a digital format, satellite-based, real-time digital broadcast media not unlike that which we have operational today in various transmission/reception format standards, such as PAL, NTSC and SECAM. However, due to the various standards the current system is not network centric, that is to say, it is not configured in a manner that lends itself to instantaneous transmission for the purpose of absolute global governance.

It should surprise no one today that in these 'last days' serious efforts are underway, particularly from within the Western-based global governance elites, to create a new global television network with the capability to instantaneously to connect the entire world, bridging all cultures, nations and languages, for the purpose of telling the entire world who and what it is. Can you say, "global deception?" Can you say Kingdom of the Antichrist?

In an Accuracy in Media column a week ago Mark Kincaid wrote about such a new system as was discussed within the venue of the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Switzerland. (Note to "Eastern Leg" proponents - take notice that all serious and significant efforts and the supporting technological base are being created and are wholly based in the West, that is, in the EU and the Western Hemisphere, and already do encompass the whole of the world as we currently know it.) MarkKincaid's article entitled "Global Television for Our Future Global Leader" is a must read as it shows the reach the elitist world governance clique has as of this moment in time and where it will be going in very short order.

Assyria Destroyed, Philistia Destroyed

15 February 2008: I have come upon some verses in Isaiah in which the Lord declares His irreversable and permanent purpose to destroy the Assyrian, to remove his yoke and burden. Given these verses then how is it even remotely possible for an Islamic Assyrian Antichrist to rise as postulated by the "eastern leg" proponents of Daniel 9:26? It appears to me that said exegetical proponents of an Islamic Assyrian Antichrist are espousing a false teaching that is in direct opposition to the Word of God.

Isaiah 14:24-32 (New King James Version)

Assyria Destroyed

24 The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying,

“ Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,

And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:

25 That I will break the Assyrian in My land,

And on My mountains tread him underfoot.

Then his yoke shall be removed from them,

And his burden removed from their shoulders.

26 This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth,

And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.

27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed,

And who will annul it?

His hand is stretched out,

And who will turn it back?”

The very next set of verses describe the destruction of the Philistines. Is it even remotely possible that these verses would not be intimately connected to the prophecies found in Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 which declare the coming destruction of these same enemies of Israel, among other immediately adjacent tribes and nations? Of course not. To suggest otherwise is a Biblically unfounded exegesis, and the teaching of such things is to be opposed in true contention of the Faith. I take this position in like manner as Paul directly opposed Peter when Peter was clearly in the wrong, so that they may come to the same brotherly Christian understanding that Peter came to as a result of Paul's opposition.

28 This is the burden which came in the year that King Ahaz died.

29 “ Do not rejoice, all you of Philistia,

Because the rod that struck you is broken;

For out of the serpent’s roots will come forth a viper,

And its offspring will be a fiery flying serpent.

30 The firstborn of the poor will feed,

And the needy will lie down in safety;

I will kill your roots with famine,

And it will slay your remnant.

31 Wail, O gate! Cry, O city!

All you of Philistia are dissolved;

For smoke will come from the north,

And no one will be alone in his appointed times.”

32 What will they answer the messengers of the nation?

That the LORD has founded Zion,

And the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.

Legion Ten Fretensis Fulfills Bible Prophecy

2 February 2009: In continuing to explore historical accounts and research on the Legio X Fretensis, I find the following article to be invaluable in supporting the long-held tradional exegesis of Daniel 9:26 as regards "the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." Bold emphasis added.

Legion Ten Fretensis fulfills Biblical prophecy

"Could such a statement be true? It is hard to conceive indeed that a single Roman legion could have been used to fulfill the words of Jesus Christ concerning Biblical Prophecy. During the siege of Jerusalem, this legion was stationed on the mount of Olives. On the commands of Titus, the entire city was leveled to the ground after it's fall. The literary and archaeological evidence also indicate that the city was totally destroyed in 70 A.D. Not a single building remained standing. Even the Temple was totally destroyed. This was part of Imperial policy to fundamentally change the cities destiny. Only in this way can we explain the tremendous effort and expense involved in removing all signs of the Jewish past. Josephus says "For the war had ruined all the marks of beauty and no one who knew of it of old, coming suddenly upon it would have recognized the place, but, thoughbeside it, he would have looked for the city. —Mark 13:1-2, NIV As he (Jesus) was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” This same prophecy was repeated in —Matthew 24:1-2, NIV as well as —Luke 21:5-6, NIV. An account says a Roman soldier threw in a torch which caught the temple on fire. It was one of the last buildings standing and many Jews were held up in it making a finale stand. Another story says that the temple had a golden roof or golden dome. When the gold was heated to it's melting point, it started to run down between the cracks of it's stone block walls. The Roman soldiers to get to the gold tore the temple apart stone by stone. So much gold was looted by the Roman soldiers at Jerusalem that it lost 1/3 of it's value for some time afterwards. Vespasians Temple to PAX and the construction of the massive Coliseum was financed by this as well. The stationing of the Tenth legion in Jerusalem marked the beginning of Roman colonization of the city. The tenth Legion built several triumphal columns. Two of these bearing inscriptions have been found. The legion also began it's own building program for it's garrison. It made tiles for both it's roof and it's floors in several areas like baths etc. I have owned several legion ten tiles over the past 25 years but most were fragmented. My finest example is in near mint state. This floor tile even has some of the original mortar on it. The stamp reads LEG X FR and is with in an incuse rectangle and can be seen below."
