Israel: Ready on the Golan

Update 29 December 2017: So, here we are on the verge of beginning 2018. As can bee seen in my comment below this morning, Israel begins 2018, which Eschatology Today assesses as a critical pre-70th Week year, having signed a strategic and tactical agreement with the greatest military power in human history (the USA) in total coordination in the ongoing confrontation with Iran, the war in Syria, in Lebanon (Hezbollah) and against HAMAS in Gaza. 

This is not a defensive accord, but rather a proactive and even kinetic (active war) accord involving both covert and overt acts as necessary in containing or eradicating the threats posed by Iran, Hezbollah and HAMAS in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and Iran itself. The timing here is no accident, we should all be aware that it has occurred at a time appointed by the Lord for it to become reality. It is no accident either that this accord reaches across multiple Old Testament prophecies to reach their fulfillment prior to the advent of the 70th Week.

27 December 2017: IDF forces stand ready on the Golan as Hezbollah, Iranian militias and The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) steadily make their way closer to the border by crushing a collection of various opposition/terrorist forces in the so-called Beit Jinn enclave. This once enclave stretched east along the slopes of Mt. Hermon towards Damascus; it now has been reduced to just a few isolated and surrounded small towns. At present the Hezbollah/IRGC and Syrian ground component forces may be as close as 3 miles from the Israel's most forward deployed forces. To the south in Gaza the situation is, according to IDF sources, much as it was in the days/hours prior to the last round of hostilities in 2014. 

In Israel, various reports say that David Friedman, the U.S. Ambassador, has called upon our State Department to cease and desist from referring to Judea and Samaria as "occupied."  Here also President Trump will provide direction as he has done with Jerusalem, and we can expect these areas to be officially be seen by America as integral to the State of Israel. Additionally, the Jerusalem metro train station at the Western Wall is to be re-named in honor of President Donald J. Trump.

24 December 2017: If you're following events, and all of the swirling rumors thereof, since the UN vote following the American Jerusalem declaration, it certainly appears that The United States of America has taken the position of issuing Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) and most other PA officials non grata status in the U.S.  This follows the decision of exactly one month ago where the U.S. State Department de-certified the PLO mission to Washington, D.C. 

What this means is that from the perspective of the United States the Palestinian's are no longer recognized as legitimate politically; they are being de-funded of US aid dollars and are being completely ignored with respect to the formulated "peace plan" the Trump Administration will continue to advance to our Arab allies (Sheba and Dedan). The PA has long been a virtual unanimous non-entity from the perspective of the U.S. Congress.

There is even a strong rumor, originating with hostile Arabs and probably as designed-war-mongering incitement by the Islamic Republic of Iran, that the next diplomatic move of the United States will be to officially recognize the State of Israel as a Jewish State. The U.S recognized the government of Israel de jure (as a legal entity) on 31 January 1949 after their first national election. For the past 70 years, or since 14 May 1948, there has been a difference between U.S. recognition of Israel as a "Jewish state" and as the "State of Israel" (See clickable documents here).

The point is this: we know war is coming. The last time, when the birth of Israel fulfilled the Isaiah 66:8 prophecy of a nation being born in a single day, that these sort of rumors circulated and all communications ceased, full-scale war erupted within 6 weeks. It sure looks like we're on that path once again, the one Eschatology Today has since March 2009 referred to as "The Prophetic Road to Revelation."

20 December 2017: This may well be the final SITREP for us to ride out 2017 with. It's fitting to start the SITREP with two Indications & Warning (I&W) items we've discussed in very recent times; the first related to Ezekiel 38/39 and the second to Jeremiah 49:34-39. Other prophecy items will be posted here as they occur until 2018 begins 12 days from now.

Regarding the first I&W item, and if the above image looks familiar to you, that would be because it represents a current analysis posted by the UK news source The Sun this morning of what Eschatology Today reported on 27 September 2017 as Global SITREP D3-17: Ezekiel 38/39 In Living Color. Perhaps a click on these embedded links to see the similarities of what Eschatology Today reported three months ago and The Sun reported this morning might be in order. 

For those with little time to spare in link-following excursions, let's just say The Sun report speaks to an analysis conducted by two leading analysts from a western intelligence service. Their analysis of the exercise reveals it to have been preparatory for a full-scale invasion of the northern portions of the European Union and NATO alliance. A Russian-Byelorus (a/k/a the Union State) war against NATO in other words. The Zapad 17 rehearsal was exactly the kind of invasion that God will preempt by placing "hook"hooks in the jaws of the leader and dragging him and his northern military force south to their deaths upon the mountains of Israel in the prophetic near future. The number of troops involved in all aspects of this offensive was well in excess of 120,000 combat troops.

About the second I&W item. Jeremiah 49:34-39 speaks to a coalition coming against Elam (modern-day Iran). Would it surprise you to learn that since the second direct ballistic missile attack against the Saudi Arabian capital city this week Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman is prepared to take the war directly into the Iranian homeland. One of the first attacks envisioned, following a naval engagement in the gulf's waters, is a Saudi ballistic missile strike on Iranian nuclear infrastructure located in - wait for it - ancient Elam. The fully operational Bushehr nuclear facility to be precise. And there's more. This is followed up by a Saudi ground forces invasion which is ultimately welcomed by the Iranian people as a liberation from their oppressive regime. 

All of this is envisioned by the Saudi's in a newly released and highly entertaining video production that has been embedded below.

Global SITREP E2-17: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)

UPDATED 1700 EDT on 20 December 2017: The above video, known as "FLIR1" is the second of three videos from the 14 November 2004 USS Nimitz UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) incident off the coast of (my beloved hometown) San Diego, California that has been declassified and released to the public. I have embedded (hopefully for a long duration) the URL of this video into this SITREP, the webpage source of which is also linked above. In several days of studying this since incident it was first brought to my attention about three days ago, this is the best webpage yet viewed from a purely technical standpoint. A partially redacted but must read pilot report of this incident is here. The first video, the 34-seconds long "GIMBAL" video first seen this past Sunday, and its associated webpage are here.

In sum, this approximately 2 minute 30 second duration video is the real deal. For technogeeks (like me) the image above has been included as it provides descriptions of all the data points displayed on the F/A-18F Super Hornet's (call sign Fast Eagle 110 and wing-man Fast Eagle 100) heads-up display as seen by the pilot and the weapons sensor operator (WSO) during the incident. As the video plays subtitles appear at the bottom of the video frame because there is no voice track on the FLIR1 recording. Most interesting thing here is that the infrared sensor detected no heat plume emanating from the UAP, yet it is moving at a very high rate of speed, and darts out of the FLIR frame to the left at incredible speed just as the video ends. Based upon the known speed of the Super Hornet the object clearly accelerated well past the speed of sound, yet no shock wave or heated vapor trail is evident.

Why is this important? 

Because this is the first time a first-rate vetted report of an obviously intelligently controlled unknown aerial system has come out of the U.S. Government. This incident has been verified by the Navy pilots themselves. This is about an aerial system without obvious means of lift (wings), describable or detectable propulsion, or piloting, and that the object was capable of maneuvering in defiance of all known physical laws of aerodynamics. Based upon USN tracking data the UAP instantaneously accelerated to a speed in excess of 2,400 mph in one particular maneuver. The UAP in question literally played with the F/A-18F Super Hornet which in 2004 were the very best combat aircraft in the world. The UAP maintained a flight profile of total tactical dominance over the Super Hornet at all times during this incident.

Given everything that is currently going on in this world, and I mean everything, one critically important question and a couple lesser important questions require answers. 

Why release this now? And why is it apparently only left-of-center media and personalities that have been involved in this release? 

Being on high alert for grand-scale delusion and great deception, something like this completely out of the blue, at this time in history, is like a bombshell with a delayed fuse detonation. A potential bunker buster in other words. Right-of-center media and personalities are bah-hum-bugging the report in total, (ahem, FoxNews, a flying Tic-Tac? Really?) and likely in ignorance of the astounding, unprecedented technical aspects evident in the DoD videos that have been released, thus far at least. There may be more coming.

It is often stated here to expect the unexpected, but this is something else again; something way off the charts.

Israel's Iron Dome destroying HAMAS rockets evening of 13DEC17

13 December 2017: As of this evening, and within the past three hours, additional war by attrition rocket fire from Gaza into Israel has occurred. At least three rockets were fired by Gaza terrorists as of this writing. This rocket fire into Israel is exactly what the Spirit-inspired prophet Ezekiel intended when he wrote in Ezekiel 28:24...

"And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD."

The key context in the above Divine warning strictly applies not only to all of Gaza, but also to Lebanon, Judea, Samaria, Sinai and Jordan. Make no mistake, when it comes to Israel returning fire in a meaningful manner, that fire will be merciless, unrelenting and overwhelming. The meaningful IDF response, when it comes, will not consist pin-pricks at local HAMAS or Jihad Islami targets of opportunity. The meaningful response will cleanse Gaza completely, permanently of any threat to Israel.

10 December 2017: Has there ever been seen an image like the one above, where another nation's national emblem was put upon Jerusalem's Old City wall side-by-side with Israel's national emblem, since the founding of Israel 70 years ago? This display was done by the municipal government of Jerusalem one hour prior to or in anticipation of President Trump's announcement. Usually in that part of the world, as well as in the University of California at Berkeley, the American flag is trampled upon and burned more often than not.

Nevertheless, this overt display powerfully illustrates Israel's current secular nature. It graphically illustrates Israel's thanksgiving to America for the blessing bestowed upon it instead of the God of their fathers. It illustrates how willing Israel will be to accept a secular "covenant among many" that comes in the wake of the battle of Ezekiel 38/39. If you're thinking as Eschatology Today is thinking about this - there's something wrong with this eschatologically based upon what Ezekiel revealed from God in chapter 39:21-29. 

It occurs in this thinking that one method with which the Lord can and will instantaneously change this particular Israel-America paradigm would be to send His Son for His bride. The blessed hope of all born-again believers, a great majority of whom dwell in these United States, the Harpazo, will instantly alter the secular and religious dynamic back to and probably well beyond what was experienced during the eight years of the Obama Administration. Back to a vehemently leftist and very anti-Israel dynamic with the Restrainer removed. We've all had thoughts on this for some time now. Based upon those thoughts what is stated above seems very reasonable to assume for the near future.

If you find disagreement with this, then take a look at what the venom-spewing Israeli leftists are saying today in their analysis piece at Haaretz: Blame the Christians for the coming of Armageddon. Already we are hated for His Name's sake. So comes the fulfillment of the Lord's prophecy found in Matthew 10:22-23.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel 7 December 2017

07 December 2017: The above image is obviously one taken by a Reuters photographer this morning somewhere in Judea and Samaria as the American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital city occurred well after sundown. The scene above is one we all expected to see this morning. The battle lines are clearly drawn and low-intensity conflict of various forms has been engaged by the IDF in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and soon from Gaza and the Sinai.

The American declaration on Jerusalem has also been seized upon by the Iranian Ayatollah as casus belli (an act or situation provoking or justifying war) against the United States of America. The IRGC, its Qods Force and the various militias under their control do nothing without the Ayatollah's approval. As stated in SITREP D1/Part I of this series, these enemies have declared US armed forces in Syria and Iraq as targets to be attacked. 

Like a pebble tossed into a standing body of water, or the epicenter of an earthquake, the waves created by those kinds of events quickly radiate outwards in every direction. In Syria and Iraq the battle lines now also exist wherever U.S. forces are operating in those countries and, most probably, for hundreds of miles beyond.

Global SITREP D10-17: Paradigm Shattering Changes Reshaping the Middle East - Part II

06 December 2017: At 1 PM Eastern Standard Time (8 PM Israel Standard Time) today the next paradigm shattering event is likely to occur when U.S. President Donald J. Trump officially recognizes Jerusalem - historically, at present and in the future - the most important city on the face of this earth, as the indivisible capital of the State of Israel. The president will then order the process of moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. 

That this monumental paradigm shift is occurring during Israel's 70th year has long be projected to occur by Eschatology Today based upon the Word of God. That violence in the form of the final fulfillment of the Psalm 83 prophecy will result is a given; the end result will be as foretold many times over by the prophets Asaph, Isaiah and Ezekiel, among others.

Future events include the construction of the 3rd Temple as envisioned in the image above, and the opening of Jerusalem to be an international city according to Revelation 11 and Jeremiah 12 through 14. Jerusalem is where the salvation of the Jews during the 70th Week will flow forth as if from a fountain, and where the Lord Jesus Christ will return at the height of the Battle of Har Megiddo to become King of kings and Lord of lords over the earth. Jerusalem will be the capital city of the earth.

02 December 2017: Israel (sans official acknowledgement) has made good on its ultimatum to destroy Iranian military bases in Syria. Early this morning (Israel time) Israel launched a volley of surface-to-surface guided missiles or air-to-ground strikes, or both, against an Iranian military base (image above) in the vicinity of Al-Kiswah. There are indications that both surface-to-surface and missiles fired from IAF aircraft orbiting over Baalbek, Lebanon may have been part of this very significant strike. This is the kind of military assault that could start the flood of prophetic fulfillment discussed on Eschatology Today at length, or it could be a powerful signal of Israel's intent to drive Iran and its Hezbollah proxy out of Syria.

Al-Kiswah is eight miles south of Damascus. The base is on the eastern side of Al-Kiswah, which also lies approximately twenty miles north of the Golan and a short drive to the west of Damascus International Airport.

Simultaneously with the Israel strikes on al-Kisrah a significant force of Hezbollah and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units continued their nearly month-long assault against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) jihadists holding a pocket adjacent to the village of Beit Jinn on the eastern slope of Mount Hermon, and opposite IDF positions on the Golan. This action is unrelated to the Israeli strike on the Iranian base at Al-Kiswah.

Hezbollah's Missiles 

28 November 2017: We begin Part II by reinforcing a key item concerning Ezekiel 38:13 and that is the acknowledgment that "Sheba and Dedan" were the progeny of Abraham's son Jokshan by his wife Keturah. Genesis 25:1-6 and I Chronicles 1:32-33. Thus the common misconception or false teaching that all Arabians are descendants of Ishmael is blown up. This is important because Ezekiel was inspired by the Lord to specifically name "Sheba and Dedan." The allies of Israel as prophesied to exist in Ezekiel 38:13 exist to today in the form of the U.S.-led NATO, The Saudi-led GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) and Israel. It is no great secret that Israel has extensive, albeit currently quiet, contacts and relations with most of the nations of the GCC. We have a front row seat to see how this develops, and given the events (Iranian expansion and threats) of just the past 12 months it's developing at a very accelerated pace.

It is also no secret in Israel that the next war (Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, Isaiah 11, Ezekiel 28 and, last but by no means least, Joshua 13) will be violent beyond any previous war Israel has fought since 1947-48. Isaiah 17:4-5 attests to the damage and unfortunate amount of death that will be visited upon Israel. Yet Israel emerges victorious and even greater than she is today. This is attested to be Ezekiel 38:8-12. The haters of the God of Israel and the people of Israel named by Asaph in Psalm 83:6-8 are to be all but wiped out as verses 9 through 18 foretell. And then there's Lebanon and Syria which will cease to exist as Middle Eastern nations. This is where both Joshua 13  and Isaiah 17 are prophetically very important.

Now that North Korea has proven it possesses an ICBM capable of striking virtually anywhere on earth, but critically anywhere within the continental United States, the "game" has changed irrevocably from what it was just before noon Eastern Standard Time today.  The President of the United States has already made his decision on how to "handle it." We shall not have long to learn what that decision entails. Off the coast of North Korea at this time is an armada not seen in Pacific waters since World War II and more powerful than anyone back then could have even dreamed of.

26 November 2017: While American's were giving thanks to the Lord for our blessings, in the Middle East our enemies were not only cursing us, but declaring their intention of attacking the U.S. and Israel. 

The below mentioned Iraqi brigades fighting in Syria made a pair of declarations this weekend. The first was the swearing of an oath to liberate the Golan and all of "Palestine" from Zionist occupation. The second was to declare all American forces "direct enemies" whether they be in Syria or Iraq, and their intention to attack them. 

This follows a publication by the IRGC's daily newspaper Javan last week of their intention of using force to achieve an American military departure from Syria and Iraq. This announcement therefore is a thinly disguised declaration of war against the Coalition Joint Task Forces - Operation Inherent Resolve which includes the Kurdish and Syrian Arab forces of the SDF in northeastern Syria.

On the other side of the coin, Israel has made clear that it will attack and destroy without further notice any and all Iranian facilities or bases within 25 miles (40 km) of the Golan border. 

Standing by...

24 November 2017: In reviewing the post history of the past five years I ran headlong into one from July 2012 titled "Psalm 83 Verse 8: Assur - Syria or Iraq." In that post the Assur that existed in 925 BC was firmly identified as Iraq for the reasons detailed. Also, in the last paragraph of that post Eschatology Today concluded with this statement that links directly to this current SITREP:

"It would seem that something also needs to occur respective to the cohesion of the present Iraqi nation. Perhaps that something is related to Jeremiah 49:34-39, or perhaps to the Sunni-Shi'a civil war that is ongoing in Aram-Syria at this time, or both. In any event, the Lord specifically identified Assur in verse 8 and the expected paradigm-shifting events are likely more widespread that we currently are able to envision."

In following the Eschatology Today coverage of the war occurring in Iraq and Syria, and now linked directly to Lebanon, the "paradigm-shifting events" being "likely more widespread" than we were able to envision five years ago are now, and have been, staring us square in the face in a truly consolidated form. One of the formerly unforeseen occurrences is the presence in Syria, on the Jordanian border, as well as being within very a short drive of Israel's border, several brigades of Iraqi militia fighters. Take careful note that the prophetic Scripture of Psalm 83 makes no distinction between nor does it even mention any sect of Islam, only ethnic identities. 

This therefore begs a question: Could these Iraqi brigades be the Assur of Psalm 83:8? They are in the right place at the right time, just as they were in 1948 and again in 1973, so it is very difficult as this point to not fully acknowledge this fact. Once again there is nothing coincidental or incidental to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

22 November 2017: Once again Eschatology Today is going ahead of the curve. If you're following the comments section of this SITREP then you were given some info yesterday on the overwhelming conventional military capability of "Sheba and Dedan" (the Saudi-led GCC) over the Islamic Republic of Iran. But what of their proxies such as Hezbollah and Iraqi Shi'a militia? Well, this is what allies are for. Strategic allies like the U.S. and regional allies like Israel. (Yes, Israel, the key to ALL end times events.) There's also a nuclear umbrella which is provided to Sheba and Dedan by "Tarshish and its young lions," but also by their Pakistani ally. The Saudi's paid for Pakistan's nukes; they are obligated. Keep this in mind in the future, it'll come in handy in understanding events as they unfold.

Do not think, however, that 'Sheba and Dedan" will tackle the Iranian threat by going solo. The  Lord is bringing the "four winds" against Elam, which is modern-day Khuzestan province, an Iranian crown jewel; foremost of the Ayatollah's military might. (Jeremiah 49:34)  This is where the U.S.-led coalition (mostly NATO) will pick up any slack, irregardless of the strategic Iran has in Magogland to the north. There's also unfinished business in Afghanistan and 2018 will be a decisive year in the OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) war now in its 16th going on 17th year. You remember the troop "surges" of years past? There's one more (big one) coming. 

Long story short, the view in the periscope says that securing Afghanistan secures Iran's eastern border or flank. The Gulfs (both Persian and Arabian) are Iran's soft underbelly and contain a pair of choke points which can be closed by allied naval forces thereby stranding and surrounding the Shi'a Houthi's in Yemen. Then there's Iraq where domination by Tehran over the government in Baghdad should be described as temporary. Prophetically, Iraq was part of the ancient Roman Empire and it will be part of the fourth and final Beast Empire again. Current and near future events will see to that. The Iranian western border or flank would thus be secured. This is also known as a "containment" strategy.

And then there's Syria and Lebanon. We've covered the prophetic angle in Syria per Jeremiah 49:23-27 and Isaiah 17 fairly extensively, and Lebanon per Joshua 13. This theater of war will be sudden, extremely violent and and almost certainly involve weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, biological. chemical). The prophecies all speak of great suffering and whole regions of sudden mass depopulation. This speaks directly to the use of WMD. 

We know the end-game from a plethora of prophetic Scripture, and now this blog seeing and has just spoken about very probable pathways to that state of affairs in the near future which leads directly to the pre-70th Week culmination of Ezekiel 38/39. 

How much of this we get to witness as residents of this planet is unknown, but we can certainly discern with acceptable clarity because we saw the Great Sign of Revelation 12:1-2 occur just two months ago. Surely the blessed hope of our Lord coming to catch us up in the clouds to be with Him forevermore is palpably near. Marana'tha!

20 November 2017: In most recent memory when the Sunni Arab League convened an emergency meeting of foreign ministers in Cairo, Egypt it would have been to condemn Israel for one perceived offense or another. This was not the case in yesterday's emergency session. At the insistence of Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia and the Sunni Arab Gulf States) this session was called to order and focused upon the threat posed by the Shi'ite Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxy Lebanese Hezbollah to the whole of the Arab League.

Within the Arab League, two nations which were founding members, Lebanon and Iraq, held their membership because when the Arab League was founded both were ruled by Sunni Muslim governments. Today this is not the case as both are completely under the domination of Shi'a governments controlled by the Iranian (Persian) Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. 

No surprise, but these are the two Arab League member nations which prevented a unanimous vote condemning the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations which pose a direct threat and are guilty of interfering in the internal affairs to all of the other sovereign member nations of the Arab League. It would be impossible for the Sunni-majority nations of the Arab League to condemn Hezbollah as being a terrorist organization and not also condemn its parent, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps Qods Force, as a terrorist organization. They are twins raised together by the Shi'a Hojjatieh regime that took control of Tehran and founded the Islamic Republic in the 1978 revolution that overthrew the late Shah Reza Pahlavi.

Unanimous or not, this declaration of the Arab League is what's necessary for the action which logically should follow -- a formal declaration of war between the members of the Sunni Arab League and the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Lebanese Hezbollah, Yemeni Houthi and Iraqi Shi'a militia proxy forces. This battle has been joined for quite some time now, but the difference in the aftermath of this emergency Arab League meeting it that its become a formalized war with legal status.

While secular Jewish and other western media have not cited the Shi'a apocalyptic eschatological ideology driving the actions of Iran and its proxies, this critical fact is not lost on the Sunni Arab states who are actively in the midst of destroying the extremist Wahhabi and Salafi ideologies in their own midst. 

This leads us to a key and very forward-looking point mentioned on this blog from time to time regarding a critical religious aspect of the 70th Week. One of the primary goals of the Globalists has been to establish a unified religious world order. This order will be built upon a merging of the major "Abrahamic religions," (i.e. Christianity, Judaism, Islam). 

Sunni Arab states which divest themselves of the extremist elements within Islam would fold nicely into what we'll call a "Covenant Among Many Abrahamic Faiths." Add to this all that is prophesied by the angel Gabriel to the prophet Daniel in chapters seven through nine of his book, as well the prophetic word revealed in Revelation 13. This amounts to the bigger interpretive picture of the 70th Week as long proposed by Eschatology Today. We are well down this prophetic road, with the key dominoes falling all along the way. 

All of this only serves to reinforce what is written below and in the original 2010 Eschatology Today interpretation of Jeremiah 49:34-39 and its leading edge position of prophecies requiring at least partial fulfillment prior to the prophetic events of the 70th Week. Following Jeremiah 49:34-39 modern-day Persia is not specifically mentioned in any other pre-70th Week prophecy save for the secondary or reduced military role it plays in the events of Ezekiel 38/39. 

17 November 2017: For a couple of weeks now there have been significant I&W (Indications & Warnings) of one or more conflicts erupting around the planet. It's as if the earth was a pressure cooker and occasional whiffs of escaping steam gave notice that boiling was occurring within. I&W are duly noted, but finding corroborations of what they might mean as a potential imminent fact are extremely hard to nail down with any specificity. We dealt with this to some extent in SITREP D7-17 and in the integral comments section, but nothing concrete emerged, except for what is expected per Bible prophecy. And that's where the proverbial rubber meets the 'Prophetic Road to Revelation.'

As is always true, the Bible interprets the Bible. It was this fact coupled with what can only be described as a "how could this have been missed" moment of insight that occurred just one day ago. That moment has convinced yours truly that preconceived notions about exactly how the final act of Psalm 83's  'unfinished business' scenario will manifest required an immediate jettisoning in favor of a new and likely corrected interpretive view. 

For a specific example let's look at the sequencing of these prophecies. Does the ultimate prophetic fulfillment of Psalm 83 precede or follow that of Ezekiel 38/39? 

Stop! Before you answer that question consider the lightning bolt the Lord hit me with just yesterday. Ezekiel 38:13, which begins with "Sheba and Dedan," has long been considered a critical part of Ezekiel's post-Psalm 83 prophecy. And a critical part it is, but do you see the problem it creates in a sequential interpretation of these prophecies if the descendants of Ishmael are to be completely vanquished as a result of Psalm 83? 

How are "Sheba and Dedan" - the entire Arabian Peninsula - to remain such a prominent force politically and militarily along with the "merchants of Tarshish and all their young lions" as the Magog military confederation appears descending upon a peaceful and secure Israel in a post-Psalm 83 world?

The best clue we have to this riddle is what is occurring at the present within Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE and Oman (i.e. the GCC). And what is occurring at present is nothing short of paradigm shattering changes. Without these paradigm shattering changes even thinking of a war fought against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its terrorist proxies by a military coalition that includes the Saudi-led GCC and Israel would have been, well, way out on a limb.

And that is precisely where Eschatology Today went a little over seven years ago (September 2010) in the interpretive theory looking at Jeremiah 49:34-39. Eschatology Today presented the fulfillment of Jeremiah's prophecy as one of a grand coalition going to war against the Islamic Republic. 

Remember this paragraph?

"In the next verse we read that the judgment comes in the form of "the four winds" (i.e. all points on the compass and intimating many nations) as being the "sword" the Lord sends after them. Also looking at the map of Iran, it does appear that Arab nations, the principle of which is Saudi Arabia, would be among those coming against Elam from the southern "wind" along with many other nations constituting the other three directions. This includes Israel and many other nations such as the NATO alliance, and clearly invokes the modern day notion of a warfighting coalition of nations such as we saw in the early 1990s Operation Desert Storm against Iraq and the present day Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan."

So, here we are in the latter weeks of 2017, and Saudi Arabia and the GCC are changing before our very eyes in ways that had we been prescient enough to elucidate it seven years ago would have resulted in copious amounts of laughter if not outright ridicule. 

Nevertheless, there were in several mostly European and Middle Eastern newspapers, published yesterday morning reports of Saudi Arabia and the GCC being allied with Israel for direct military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran and it's Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon and Syria. This joint Arab-Israeli military action is identified as one of the nascent Saudi Arabian king Mohammed bin Salman's highest priority objectives upon his ascension to the throne next week. This follows the unprecedented publication in Saudi Arabia just yesterday of an interview with Israel's military chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, the subject of which was Iran being the biggest common threat in the Middle East to Sunni Arab nations and Israel.

14 November 2017: Found these (clickable) International Space Station (ISS) photo's online, and they're worth a couple of thousand words each. Besides, all that, they're just plain cool to look at such as yours truly has done in-depth. Interesting footnote, the ISS will observe its 20th year in orbit a year from now.

Top Photo: Looking to the north at night over Israel. Not only can you see all of Israel, but also a very large portion of the Greater Middle East as well. Notice in this image you can see the curvature of the earth, even the outline of the earth's atmosphere is visible. That's due to the altitude of the ISS being approximately 251 miles (404 km).

What struck me is how bright all of Israel is, and Lebanon in the immediate north. Bright lights on the east is Amman, Jordan. Damascus, Syria is seen east of Lebanon and north of Amman. Look closely and you can see all the way into Iraq. Cyprus and Turkey are on the left-hand margin of the image.

If you read Bible prophecy you might be thinking the same thoughts that I had thought while looking at these images. My thought was that most of the visible land in both images will be part of Israel proper in the not too distant future.

Global SITREP D8-17: Military Force To Pluck Euro Nations Out By Their Roots

7 November 2017: Eschatology Today has been referencing a specific event in Bible prophecy for some time now. It is an unambiguous series of signs given by God in the form of a dream to the prophet Daniel. All of these signs are detailed in what we know as chapter seven of the book which bears his name. The most critical of these signs occurs in verse eight which informs that upon the Antichrist's rising (as a little horn) among 10 already established horns (kingdoms) he will pluck up by the roots three of the 10. In other words, the newly emergent leader who will be the Antichrist, the leader of the fourth and final beast empire, will seize by some force (pluck up by their roots) three of the 10 kingdoms.

In the news yesterday, as reported by the U.K.s' Telegraph newspaper, we see the German Army (Bundeswehr) war-gaming scenarios related to the potential break-up of the European Union. These are scenarios envisioning the use of military force to prevent a BREXIT-type departure or the outright seizure of one of more sovereign nations seeking independence from a European Superstate such as the EU. The timeline for this is envision by EU military leaders as being at some point between the present and the year 2040. The underlying doctrine, known as "Strategic Perspective 2040" for the recent scenario-driven exercises of the Bundeswehr, is classified as confidential information. The direct connection between Daniel 7:8 and these type of military exercises in Europe is no coincidence.

Global SITREP D7-17: The Psalm 83 Scenario - Unfinished Business

1 November 2017: While the end-game plays out in both Syria and in Iraq, and probably as a direct result of those events, the past month has seen ever increasing Indications and Warnings (I&W) that the IDF will find itself involved in full-scale war in the Southern, Central and Northern Front sooner rather than later, and almost certainly during the year 2018. This assessment derives from the following link-heavy collection of recent open source news items.

The so-called "Palestinian unity" or reconciliation deal between HAMAS and Fatah of three weeks ago made clear one thing over all other considerations, and that is that all of the factions within both camps, whether in Gaza or Judea and Samaria, are in lock-step with the openly and oft-repeated goal of destroying the State of Israel. 

As we all know, this Palestinian goal is Psalm 83:4 verbatim, and that makes it a Lebanese, Syrian, Iranian, Palestinian, Israeli-Arab and Gazan goal.

Even overseas Palestinian diplomats are calling for Israel's destruction as was made clear in a 20 October Times of Israel report on a tweet by the Palestinian mission chief (Fatah) in Colombia who quoted Yasser Arafat: "Our goal is the end of Israel, and there can be no compromises or mediations…. We don’t want peace. We want WAR and victory — Yasser Arafat,"  This call for Israel's destruction was merely an echo of a call made the day before by HAMAS, as was demanded of HAMAS by their Iranian overlords. Make no mistake, Iran is seeking to engage Israel in a war involving its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Judea, Samaria and Gaza. 

If I were the Iranian Ayatollah, I'd be worried about the potential for a pretty significant Israeli preemptive action.

These very recent newsworthy tidbits were reported on prominently in Israel and in the Brooklyn, New York-based The Algemeiner.  These important reports were completely ignored by ALL major, corporate American news organizations - including the network formerly known as "we report, you decide" FoxNews.

Today, Israeli attack aircraft (possibly F-35I Adir's) struck, apparently with impunity, an arms manufacturing plant in the area south of Homs, Syria.

Yes, there's probably more to come, so please stand by, there's a lot of unfinished business to take care of with respect to Psalm 83.

Revelation 13:14 - The Constructed Image of the Beast - Where AI Meets Non-Human Intelligence

UPDATED 25 October 2017: It's been almost five years since the original post below about "the image of the beast" was published. A lot has changed since then, and an update is mandatory, not primarily for most born-again Christians, but for those who will suddenly find themselves in a post-Harpazo world.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) and human intelligence interact on pretty much a routine basis. We human beings now regularly talk to Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant or even the artificial intelligence embedded in your car, your refrigerator, or even your entire house. The AI talks back and responds directly to us about whatever ever it was that you wanted to know from it or to do for you. So, human daily interaction with AI has become common place in 2017 and is growing by leaps and bounds, technologically speaking. In three to five years time there will likely be another quantum leap in the technology driving AI. Futuristic thinkers are even telling us without any reservation that AI/Human Intelligent interactions will become even greater very soon. This isn't SciFi anymore, it's become Sci-Fact. 

However, what no one is thinking about, and what virtual none of the most well-known prophecy teachers have touched yet with a ten-foot pole is to discuss what will happen when AI and non-human intelligence are linked together in the very near future of the 70th Week. The Revelation of Jesus Christ tells us this will be the fact-of-the-matter during the 70th Week, and that man-made artificially intelligent construct empowered by a non-human demonic entity (i.e. Satan himself) will have the power of life or death over every individual living on the planet.

"[the second beast] was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[f] the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:15-17)

[Perhaps if you've not read the original post form December 2012 before, now would be a good time to do so, or to refresh, and then come back up to see where we are today in 2017.]

Think about the prophetic terminology God first used 2,600 years ago to describe what this AI coupled with satanic (non-human) power of the Antichrist and False Prophet will be, and that is "shiqquwts shamem," whose full-meaning would best be expressed as "a thing of detestable, abominable filth that will cause desolation and waste" upon the earth. This thing will be stood up in the Holy Place of the coming Jewish 3rd Temple approximate;y 42 months after the Antichrist confirms a covenant among many. 

The technology that will be brought together by men at the direction of the False Prophet (the second beast from the earth) to create this abomination of desolation, the artificial creation of the created to honor and cause worship of Satan in God's Temple, is all around us. Imagine, if you will, Artificial Intelligence that includes holographic capabilities, ultra-life-like cybernetic appearance, virtual reality; a near omniscient situational awareness capable of global control over inanimate things from finance and routine commerce,  to global fleets of drones and superhuman soldiers and robotic war machines, to animate things like human beings and the ability to kill them forthwith. (This super-soldier capability is Vladimir Putin's worst nightmare!)  The ultimate in oppression and totalitarian control of every aspect of life on planet earth. And millions of our future brethren will die professing Jesus Christ, refusing to take the mark of the beast or worship his abominable image of the beast stood up in the the Jerusalem Temple. (Matthew 24:15-22)

No, this is not a plot merger of the Terminator Sci-Fi movie series and George Orwell's 1984, this is what the Bible says will take place in the very near future, and it may well be far worse than described here. The blessed hope for all mankind is the Harpazo, the sudden catching away of the bride of Jesus Christ, to escape all these things, the likes of which have never before occurred on the earth, and never will thereafter for all eternity. The only time anyone has to make a decision for Christ is right now, while there is time to do so before the Harpazo. What will you do?

 

18 December 2012: One of the things in Revelation 13:14-15 that has always fascinated me is the God-breathed prophecy that the second beast, the False Prophet, will issue a command to all mankind inhabiting the earth that they must construct an image of the first beast, the Antichrist.

"And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed."

The key sequential Greek words in verse fourteen are poieō eikōn thērion, meaning that the fully deceived men of the earth of that time will be called upon by the False Prophet to construct a likeness of the Antichrist. Understand this completely: mankind will be called upon to create an image of Satan incarnate as was man created in the image of God. This will occur shortly after the Antichrist will appear to have sustained a mortal head wound yet he will pseudo-miraculously not die as a result of it. This image of the Antichrist will be constructed by mankind to honor him.

How will mankind construct such a thing? Through the all types of emergent technological know-how that mankind will have at its disposal. It will be a 21st century technology that many are seeing greater and greater glimpses of in these pre-70th Week days: the fusing and absolute convergence of nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, artificial intelligence, robotics and instantaneous global communications that provide instantaneous global situational awareness. Mind-boggling to be sure even by 2012-2103 state-of-the-art technological advancements. 

This will be the high-tech 21st century equivalent of the statue of Zeus-Olympus that the forerunner antichrist, the Hellenic Seleucid Empire's absolute ruler Antiochus IV Epiphanes stood up in the 2nd Temple on the 25th of Kislev, 168 BC. The difference between this coming outrage and the latter will be that the False Prophet will be able to supernaturally embed a demonic spirit (Greek: pneuma) within this human construct so that it will be a virtual, physical being, a totally aware and communicating entity in the service of Satan which will be capable of killing both Tribulation Saints and all of mankind who will dare to refuse it the requisite worship. Perhaps it will be the demonic spirit known as Abaddon/Apollyon who will inhabit this constructed thing; the penultimate of demonic and gentile desecration of God's Temple?

As Jesus declared in the Olivet Discourse, referring the the prophecy given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel, this action will define the mid-point of the 70th Week. He has made it unambiguously clear that this utterly detestable thing will be literally stood up in the Holy Place within the 70th Week (Tribulation) Temple; that this will be the "Abomination of Desolation." This event, Jesus tells us, will be the final sign for the Jews to flee Jerusalem with extraordinary haste; to flee in the direction of the mountains of Judea meaning 'take nothing with you, just get out of the city of Jerusalem!'

I believe there can be little confusion or wonderment as to why the wrath of God is thereafter poured out upon the earth in such a way as there has never been anything of this scope previous or ever will there be anything like it again. And there is no further mention of the image after this. We can only assume that God utterly annihilates the "Abomination of Desolation" and it passes into oblivion without further notice.

Global SITREP D6-17: A Few Things That Need Addressing...

21 October 2017: Its been a month since the sign of Revelation 12:1-2 was literally and gloriously fulfilled in the heavens above, yet the depression among the bride of Christ that's due to the Harpazo not occurring is quite obvious if not palpable. I think the remedy to this is to realize that listening to the musings of men regarding the things wholly within the domain of Almighty God the Father is something that Scripture has endeavored to teach us since we each were babes-in-Christ. 

It's very much the same reason Paul was obliged to write II Thessalonians 2, (Read it!) and that was because his earlier Spirit-filled teachings to the Corinthians were largely cast aside by a significant number of believers who had listened to and believed the non-Spirit-filled teachings of non-Spirit-filled men and the attendant rumors which followed in their wake. Wolves in sheep's clothing. Snake oil salesmen. And you know what, some of them, even a month later are still at it; still date-setting the utterly un-date settable, and some brethren are still listening to them and their calculated musings. 

Cleave ONLY to what the Word of God teaches - it really is that simple. "Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle." (II Thessalonians 2:15)

There's something else that just as disturbing if not more so. I'm talking now about all of this plant 9, Nibiru, planet X, Babylonian enuma elish garbage that has been invading mainstream Christian discussion of late. It's all abject nonsense and outright deception based upon unproven theory that originated in the non-Christian secular world. Simply put this topic has no place in Christian discourse except to dismiss it outright as garbage to be ignored. FoxNews publishes a report and that makes Nibiru real? Really??

Brethren, especially those of you lending an ear to this nonsense, listen up, and I'll explain it as simply and as truthfully as possible. The ancient Akkadian word NI-BI-RU simply refers to a crossing, something which intersects an established baseline. That baseline is the ecliptic plane our solar system which God created and set in motion the specific parameters thereof for all the heavenly bodies orbiting around the Sun. 

Every year at the time of the spring (March) and fall (September) equinox when our Sun rises above or falls below the ecliptic plane as seen from Earth, that particular day was known to the ancient Mesopotamian peoples - the Akkadians, Sumerians, Babylonians - as the nibiru, the crossing. Nibiru is not a planet, it is the day on which our Sun crosses the ecliptic plane year in and year out every March and September.  That's all this is, everything else is non-scholarly mis-translation of cuneiform texts and made-up nonsense from unqualified and unlearned charlatans like Zechariah Sitchin, et al. 

Again, none of this planet Nibiru, planet X nonsense has any place within Christian talk or any discussion about specifics within The Revelation of Jesus Christ about these last days prior to the establishment of our Lord's millennial kingdom, except to abruptly and soundly dismiss it as something added to that text. Adding something to the God-breathed prophecy of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is addressed in Revelation 22:18-19.

We are all alert and looking at and for the signs of His coming for us the bride of Christ. It's a "day and hour" which only God the Father knows. Yet, according to the Jewish betrothal tradition upon which the Harpazo/Rapture of the bride is derived, once the Father instructs the Son to begin the wedding by collecting His bride, one of the Grooms procession would lead the way loudly proclaiming, "Behold, the bridegroom comes!" The sounding of the shofar (trumpet) accompanies. This is what we are waiting for, this will be how our departure will occur, with an angelic shout and trump to announce His coming. 

There is no need to look at any calendar for this, that would be a completely futile endeavor to engage in because neither the day or the hour are recorded in any book, not even the Holy Bible. Therefore, there is no way to count or to calculate the number of days before its occurrence. We encourage one another with the knowledge that we are today living in the very season of its occurrence; that it will happen at any moment, in the twinkling of an eye.
