Global SITREP B3-19: The Gaza Op and Syria Strike

The Chief of staff at the briefing for commanders and combatants in the Southern Conference area, Friday, 29 March 2019.

UPDATE 30 March 2019:
The lines are all in battle array; orders given (image above). Warning from the factions in Gaza; Israel responding "Don't do it."  HAMAS had included in its final set of demands the Temple Mount and Jerusalem. Shots have been fired this morning and a critical head wound to a Gazan combatant occurred east of Jabalia in the northern part of the strip. Other injuries reported in other sectors as 1 PM Israel Daylight Time (IDT) approaches. High explosive/high yield IEDs were thrown at IDF troops. Heavy gunfire by IDF against groups of enemy combatats attempting to breach the security fence at Gaza and Rafah (northern and southern strip). Use this detailed map for location data.

Occasional volleys of tear gas are being used by IDF troops to keep Gazans from getting to close to the 20-foot tall security fence. The 300-meter no go zone adjacent to the fence in side Gaza is being strictly enforced. The level of violence on the border varies sector by sector.

With this as the current status, there will be near real-time updates during the day...

Screen capture of IAF strike on IRGC-QF depot near Aleppo 27MAR19
28 March 2019: SYRIA - As noted in real-time comments to this SITREP last evening, a major air strike was launched around midnight IST by Israel on an IRGC-QF weapons depot in an indistrial area northeast of Aleppo known as Sheikh Najjar. Reports vary claiming 7 to 10 Iranian soldiers were killed in the strike. The initial strike and secondary blasts of detonating ordnance rocked the entire region for hours afterwards, cut power to Aleppo city and caused general chaos according to Syrian rebel sources which recorded the event on cell phones and posted to social media in near-real time.

Immediately after the strike the airspace over the Golan Heights east of the Jordan River was closed when Israel issued a NOTAM to all air traffic above 5000 feet. This air region is part of the Tel Aviv FIR (Flight Information Region). Israel's air defenses are on full alert status.

GAZA - The terror coming out of Gaza continues unabated. IED-laden balloons, grenades and even IED-drones are being sent over the security fence into the Negev and Eshol Regional Council areas this morning. Reports (coming from Gaza) of an agreed upon truce are being taken with an enormous dose of salt; one would have to be mentally unstable to believe anything the Gaza jihadists have to say. The Egyptian shuttle diplomacy mission returned to Israel with the factions response to the Israeli ultimatum on total disarmament and inspections. No one is holding their breath, even as IDF forces continue to flow southwards.

This is the fourth "war" in the Gaza region since HAMAS' takeover of the strip in 2007. The Israeli public is overwhelmingly calling for a permanent resolution to the Gaza terror; Israeli civilians in this region are at the breaking point with their rage against the terror and inaction by the Natanyahu government. The Natanyahu government's continued existence hangs in the electoral balance in the voting scheduled for 9 April.

IDF armored troops ready their Merkave Mk.IV 'Barak' Main Battle Tank
These AI-enhanced tanks were designed for urban insurgent combat in Gaza.
IDF armor in ready position at one point on the Gaza border today.

26 March 2019: This is as near to a real-time SITREP as has ever been done on Eschatology Today. Collection activity continues in real-time as this is being prepped for posting.

The IDF has had hundreds of its armored forces in ready assault positions around Gaza for most of the day today, even as more armor and tracked heavy artillery are seen on Israel's highways streaming south as recently as 7 PM EDT this evening.

The current status is that PM Netanyahu, IDF general staff and cabinet ministers remain in a highly classified security assessment meeting. At the conclusion of the assessment it is expected the order will be given for ground operations to commence inside Gaza. In addition to the battalion of heavy artillery that has been mobilized and sent south, the 35th Airborne Regiment has also been ordered to deploy to Gaza.

The last HAMAS rocket launched into Israel about two hours ago; it was shot down over Ashkelon by an Iron Dome interceptor. Nothing more than shrapnel landed on a residential house. The IAF has been active for some time this evening striking dozens of HAMAS and other identified targets.

Meanwhile, Syria has requested a U.N. Security Council meeting on the Golan Heights, and rumors of Hezbollah threats to intervene on HAMAS behalf continue to percolate.

  2. IDF armored battalions of the 401st BDE were seen maneuvering into launch positions.

  3. The armored force and additional deploying IDF units is becoming more massive than anything seen previously on the Gaza border.

This is the kind of force that could make the occupation and total demilitarization of Gaza a reality.

  4. Sean,

You have really been busy and bouncing around keeps you keen on and response ready. Praying for everyone involved and no more Hamas hijinks such as so-called "cease fire" nonsense coming out of Gaza's traitors to the residents of that small strip.

Time to take stock of how many times these thugs have wasted Israel's valuable time in false negotiations and oh, listen to me the professional armchair commander. Time that I get about Our Father's business and pray unceasingly for the Prophets of Old's pronouncements to begin coming to fruition.

Loved this epic photo displayed session especially.

  5. An Egyptian shuttle diplomacy team just entered Gaza from Israel.

Israel has demanded full, verifiable by inspections, disarmament by HAMAS, PIJ and other factions in exchange for a 1-year peace agreement (a hudna). A take it or leave it offer.

No way the islamists can accept this, they'll reject it.

IDF can then be expected to enforce a demilitarization of Gaza.

Crazy violence, truck-load tire fires and IED explosions now ongoing at the Gaza border.

  10. I'm so glad to hear"a full disarmament", I think the Israelis are learning the Trump way of negotiating. If Hamas can't provide peace for their people than they have shown they can't lead them but are only their to incite Israel. It's time Israel says enough is enough!

  12. Thanks for sharing the info you’re able to gather. I think you must be at the top of the charts for information gleaned on the web. Also appreciate the pics. I love seeing the Israelite tanks and soldiers at the ready.
Praying for a resolute finish to the terrorist entity on their southern border.

  13. Those pics look very authentic and most importantly, almost instantaneous to boot. I love the Era that we are all living in now and the excitement I am trying to contain just keeps perking up like my beloved old and trusty coffee pot. Perhaps the same is affecting everyone but in case you are missing the true unbiased elation, try reading all of those passages that Sean has been handing all of us over the past 10 years. Wasn't it 2009 Sean when you began or was it 2007?

I tried to find my "dinner jacket" link/history from last week and suddenly hit me, I used my hubby's computer and I am totally lost on a Microsoft configuration any more. Used to install and set up those blasted 'nothing but trouble' machines from 1990 on but my days of computers began way back in the era of 1950's with the real brain killers and their binary configs. We have all come a long way baby and the outcome is what we can now see every day such as the latest update from Gaza and Israel as we even speak today in the USA. The SPEED of communications, travel and learning is exponentially beyond man's belief but ABBA FATHER knew way before but included in Daniel's time frames.

Hamas has played a fools game with their actions because they desired to destroy the Jewish people who are the Apples of God's eye and please, don't ever believe that the Church has replaced them in the Heart of God in His scriptures. We are very close to the duration of the Church Age, only a few more days to go before we hear 'COME UP HERE' shouted out from Heaven's Glory cloud. ARE YOU ALL READY & YOUR GARMENTS CLEAN?

  17. Wow! Really heating up in Israel! I guess they were waiting to make sure Trump was on board with any military action they needed to take. Recognizing that the Golan Heights belonged to Israel and the meetings the two leaders have had finally gave them the insurance they needed to get things done, Are they finally going to take back what has always been rightfully theirs, such as the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, control of the temple grounds? Maybe I won’t have to find another job after being fired from the University I worked at for going to be with my father that almost died. Thank you all for your prayers. I prayed my earthly father would not die but go with us in the soon Rapture. He is now so much better. Thanks Sean for passing on all the intel you get. So appreciative.

  27. Amos and Zechariah have some very interesting passages related to Gaza and why Gaza and Company are being held to account by Almighty God. Especially Amos 1: 6 start there and keep on going. The reasons for their total destruction goes way back to decades past and current evil behavior.

  29. Two IDF Merkava MkIV tanks have fired on and destroyed a HAMAS outpost. Each was apparently directing the assaults on the border. At least a handful of enemy combatants have been shot; at least one head-shot kill reported.

This ongoing night combat is setting the conditions for the expected daylight carnage.

    Not gonna happen.

  34. Happening now (10:30 EDT) - Enemy combatants storming border east of Khan Younis, IDF firing on them.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Penetration of the security barrier was reversed. The event finished without becoming a disaster. Netanyahu and some others said the IDF was successful in maintaining "calm" on the border.

Now reports of an agreement achieved between Israel and HAMAS via Egyptian negotiators. It appears, according to Bennett and Shaked, to be an Israeli surrender to HAMAS demands. Indeed, HAMAS is celebrating their "victory" this evening.

Yet, violence continues on the border.

    ReplyDelete
  36. PM/DM Netanyahu has ordered all Gaza crossings to be open and functioning as normal and routine tomorrow.

    Utterly surreal.

  37. I am so disgusted with this same old shoot 'em um up, send all the troops to the range, fire a few rOunds of ammo, then tuck their tails and call it all off! No wonder Bibi is the laughing stock of the Arabs!

Can any of you imagine the real time disgust and anger the people of Israel are experiencing in all of this sham behavior! Take everyone's weapons away from them, sit them in separate corners and gag all of them so they cannot speak!

Do I want the battle and blood to run? NO but I don't believe letting these liars getting by with such repeated behavior has any honor or remedial benefits for Israel or the factions that will rearm, redeploy and staert a new aggressions again!

Honestly, I decided to follow this with as much detail - but not too much - as possible to document it. The reason was I listened to MSM (included FoxNews) and was hearing things that I knew were not accurate.
To do this I made use of some new found reputable sources in Israel. Thanks for the thumbs up!

Something major has to happen within the next week. I would not vote for Bibi after today's events, and the "deal" with HAMAS is still unknown.

Rumor is that the Popular Resistance Committees (pro-Iran) will break with HAMAS and launch rockets at Israel to sabotage the "deal."

  47. PM/DM Netanyahu: "I have ordered that IDF forces remain fully deployed around the Gaza Strip. This includes tanks, artillery, ground forces & the air force. We are prepared for any scenario and–if need be–an extensive campaign. We will do what needs to be done for Israel's security."

Clearly, it will require a far more serious threat to Israel's national security than a largely unarmed mass of 40,000 Gazans and hundreds of small IEDs before Isaiah 11:14 is fulfilled. Not even a barrage of unguided rockets roughly aimed at civilian housing has been a triggering event.

Yes, something of greater consequence will occur for this part of the Psalm 83 fulfillment to take place. Yet, it will happen at the appointed time.

    1. Sean, just 2 things
      1) I have long held the belief that Netanyahu doesn't seem to have what it takes, or is unwilling to act in a "psalm 83" way.
      2) your reference to the "appointed time" is the best way of putting it I can imagine. I was thinking about the appointed time since Friday.

    2. On Friday I half jokingly said "things are heating up". I had in mind the restrainor mentioned in 2 thessalonians 2. I believe firmly that the church is taking out of the way before the man of sin is revealed, but I always wondered of the restrainor mentioned is God's sovereign timetable. How else can you explain why major destruction and collapse hasn't occurred yet? Just things I been thinking about

A short time ago Gaza terrorists fired mortars in an attempt to kill IDF troops and technicians repairing the 20' tall border barrier. No fatalities, the mortar rounds fell short.

Response from Israel? Expand the Gaza fishing zone to 15kms.

  49. Israel is warning of an imminent attack by PIJ (per orders from Iran) as retaliation for the IAF strike on Sheikh Najjar Industrial Zone. That strike killed between 7 and 140 (per various reports) Iranians and destroyed their rocket manufacturing in Syria.

  52. As you said earlier Sean, “Yes, something of greater consequence will occur“. Perhaps this is it.
How can Prime Minister/Defense Minister, Mr. Netanyahu, expect terrorist to behave in any other manner? They’ve already said that they were going to embarrass him before the elections, but, I wonder if he’s already been expecting this. I would expect by making the offer that he’s made, probably knowing full well they would decline, will allow him the free hand to do what’s inevitable. He must have known as much before going into these negotiations. He certainly isn’t stupid.
