Global SITREP D5-23: A Greater MidEast War Part IV

Bab al-Mandab Chokepoint

22 December 2023: It is no accident that three of the world's most important maritime choke points are in the Middle East: the Suez Canal, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Bab al-Mandab. And just as obviously this has never been lost in the mindset of the Shi'a Twelver Regime in Tehran. Close one and global economic disruption is guaranteed, close two, as the Twelver's regularly exercise, and war is assured to reopen them.

With the effective shutdown of the Bab al-Mandab, there's little maritime traffic transiting the Suez. Effectively the Houthi's of Yemen have shut down two of these three critical chokepoints making military action by the West assured to reopen the Bab al-Mandab by force. At least 20 nations have signed on, with others on-standby or in supporting roles. And everyone knows who has pulled the strings to make this situation a reality - it is straight from the Twelver's apocalypse playbook, so do not expect the Islamic Republic to dodge out of this unscathed. Oh, and by the way, they're still working on installing working nuclear weapons into their missile force arsenal.

IDF Ready to roll in the North

This evening in northern Israel 19-year old Sergeant Amit Zod Hiv was killed during activity following rocket launches by Hezbollah, and another IDF soldier was seriously injured. Two other Israelis were hospitalized in in yesterdays rocket barrages. It is not believed that the IDF will hold its iron horses back much longer, all though the IAF and IDF artillery have met the increased Hezbollah rocket fire with intensive counter fires. Again, it is Iran's Twelvers and their vision of an apocalyptic conflagration that is the common denominator in all of this, always has been.

  1. Again, thanks for the prayers and other well wishing. All are appreciated!

  2. How far and wide will this war spread?
An Israel-linked ship was attacked by a drone off the coast of India!

It's quite stunning to see in a review of Bible prophecy websites that Eschatology Today virtually
stands alone in identifying this war as the Psalm 83 War. Those preconceived notions are proving to be extremely difficult to shake off.

FACT: Gaza is being so militarily neutralized, pulverized actually, that a future Israel-Gaza war is simply not possible.

  3. Israeli media suffers from the same malaise as American media. Check this out:

'The men were killed by a passing vehicle at a gas station at the entrance to Anata (Jerusalem).'

Passing vehicles are killing people in Israel now?

    1. Takes me back to 2019 - perhaps the 'passing vehicle' had an 'austere religious scholar' behind the wheel? Sounds like someone interned at WaPo. Bro. Steve

  4. And here comes the Iranian plot to drag Jordan into this war. According to intel the Twelvers desire to bring an ISIS-like group into action on Israel's southeastern border. They claim this will complete the surrounding of Israel with a new war front.

Isaiah 11:14b foretells it this way:

    "Together they shall plunder the people of the East;
    They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
And the people of Ammon shall obey them.
    "

    Eye's wide open.

  5. Per an investigation by the (UK) Independent, the IDF has caused greater destruction in Gaza than the destruction caused to Aleppo between 2012 and 2016, the city of Mariupol in Ukraine, and even greater destruction than the Allies caused to Nazi Germany during WWII.

This investigation supports what Eschatology Today has been saying about this war long before October 7th, and it will eclipse the destruction caused thus far. (Isaiah 17)

    1. Real-world application of the 'Dahiya Doctrine' within the recently enacted 'Israel Victory' framework. Necessary but very sobering nonetheless. I am sure Hezbollah are watching with some apprehension - knowing that they are next and that these tunnels are not necessarily as 'safe' as they initially thought. "King of Rubble" indeed.

It appears almost certain that Gaza will be rendered entirely unfit for civilian habitation - for a very long time - once the IDF has completed its mission tasking vis. Hamas. This in turn will greatly limit the political dialogue framework, regarding post-conflict administration of Gaza (i.e. UN and other 'meddlers' wanting to dictate the 'administration' of the area). Put another way, Israel will have very strong political leverage to keep Gaza under ongoing IDF control - for an indeterminate period.

      My thoughts, Bro. Steve

    2. The IDF invoking the Dahya Doctrine in the coming days means the end of Beirut as we have known it. It will more resemble the ruination of Damascus after the war is finished. Israel has expressly warned about this for the past several months. Too bad Hezbollah has no ear to hear.

  6. Iran claims this war also includes the Mediterranean Sea, from Strait of Gibraltar choke point. Growing in scope all the time.

  7. There's been no let up in Red Sea action by the Houthis. A U.S. destroyer shot down four enemy UAV's yesterday.
Iran has engaged directly in the maritime battles by sending a suucide UAV against an Israel-linked commercial vessel 200 miles off the Indian coastline. This attack caused a controllable fire that was extinguished.
Two other one-way suicide drones evaded detection, each narrowly missing their targets.

  8. Overnight IDF KIA losses were the highest since the invasion began. Despite vociferous denials those losses are the direct result of the Biden Administration's tactical handcuffing (micromanagement) of IDF operations in Gaza. Israeli media is of no value to this situation; IDF troops ARE NOT sacrificial lambs on the Pentagon's altar.

  9. Headline: "Netanyahu: US is not dictating how Israel should prosecute the war."

This is a half-truth. Both the US and EU are absolutely dictating Israel's prosecution the war against the terrorist animals in Gaza. This is as benevolent as I can be to the emergent global dictatorship.

  11. The Red Sea protection flotilla went kaput as quickly as it began. NATO allies France, Spain and Italy have refused to participate under Biden Administration ROE. (They refuse to allow their ships and crews to be subjected to Houthi attacks. No kidding.)

    1. Apparently there are a small cadre here who do understand the gravity in the killing of Razi Musavi even without knowing the details of the strike that finally got him.

It was almost accidental, even though God does not a mistakes!!

The IAF designed THIS strike to wipe off the face of the earth the IRGC-QF depots their ordnance and weapons for immediate transhipment to ALL of the regional proxy forces for the offensive against northern Israel. Hundreds of acres of weapons ans ammunition, some above, some below ground. The IAF design succeeded briliantly.

And it got Mousavi as an unexpected bonus. Mousavi was a key aide to Qassem Soleimani, and should have died in the 2020 strike, he was in the entourage with Soleimani and Muhandis, but escapped.

  14. BREAKING: IRGC OFFICIAL STATEMENT

    KILLING OF RAZI MOUSAVI

“We bring to the awareness of the noble and heroic Iranian nation, that a few hours ago, in a criminal airstrike by the fake and child-killing Zionist regime on Damascus, Brigadier-General Sayyed Razi Mousavi, one of the IRGC's experienced military advisers, was martyred in Syria.

He was one of the comrades of martyr general Hajj Qassem Soleimani, and was responsible for supporting the resistance front in Syria.

  15. So, the IAF is 3 for 3.

3 airstrikes on Damascus and 3 IRGC-QF Brigadier-Generals to show for it. Good shootin'.

  16. Meanwhile, in the war further north, (meaning Magog's invasion of Ukraine) there is this Christmas Day message from the White House, and a host of analytical think tanks regarding NATO failure to support Ukraine's defense will result in the United States having to pay a high price in "national treasure and in American blood" going forward.

There you have it, the northern war, ongoing for a decade, will soon transition into a third world war in Europe, a war involving US boots on the ground. (Remember, Gabriel's prophetic ten kings fighting a big war when a "little horn" rises up among them?)

    Merry Christmas.

    1. Follow-up in citing the ISW's most recent assessment with emphasis added.

      Dec 24, 2023 - ISW Press

European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs High Representative Josep Borrell stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in a limited territorial victory in Ukraine and will continue the war “until the final victory.”
(i.e. The complete military conquest of all Ukraine)

Borrell reported on December 24 that Putin would not be satisfied with capturing a “piece” of Ukraine and allowing the rest of Ukraine to join the EU. Borrell added that Putin will not “give up the war” and called on the West to prepare for a “conflict of high intensity for a long time.”

Borrell’s statements are consistent with ISW’s assessment that Russia is not interested in a ceasefire or good-faith negotiations with Ukraine but retains its maximalist goals of a full Russian victory in Ukraine.

  17. ESCHATOLOGICAL STATEMENT.

Believe as you wish, but this is the overlook above the valley of the shadow of death where I stand watch, and whether by Divine vision, instruction or visitation, it matters not for it has been given.

It is not obvious to all searching God's Word, as Berean's would do at this late hour, there will be no distinct, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse fulfillments of the serveral prophetic narratives. There will not be 9 prophetic wars, or 6 wars or even 3.

There is but ONE prior to the 70th Week of Years (which has its own unique God-breathed timelime of appointments which are painstakingly detailed in The Apocalypse of Jesus Christ) and its fulfillment is completely dynamic, sequential, concurrent and unitary of purpose, like a flood, in preparing all Israel for redemption.

Israel today is in tremendous upheaval!

There are no "gaps" of time, no here, now or next cases of occurrence, that's all worthless publishers boiler plate for the next book offering.

This is the reason why so very few do not see what is standing before us all - they cannot see past the learned construct they have convinced themselves is real. The "Dispensation of Grace" will end, as in "poof" it's gone, and with the trump and shout of an Archangel the Bride is translated into the Heavenly realm. Done.

  23. Some interesting excerpts from PM Netanyahu's WSJ Christmas OpEd (authorised extract from ZeroHedge - full article behind a paywall):

    1. "The expectation that the Palestinian Authority will demilitarize Gaza is a pipe dream. It currently funds and glorifies terrorism in Judea and Samaria and educates Palestinian children to seek the destruction of Israel. Not surprisingly it has shown neither the capability nor the will to demilitarize Gaza. It failed to do so before Hamas booted it out of the territory in 2007, and it has failed to do so in the territories under its control today. For the foreseeable future Israel will have to retain overriding security responsibility over Gaza."

    2. "First, Hamas, a key Iranian proxy, must be destroyed. The U.S., U.K., France, Germany and many other countries support Israel’s intention to demolish the terror group. To achieve that goal, its military capabilities must be dismantled and its political rule over Gaza must end. Hamas’s leaders have vowed to repeat the Oct. 7 massacre “again and again.” That is why their destruction is the only proportional response to prevent the repeat of such horrific atrocities. Anything less guarantees more war and more bloodshed."

    3. "Unjustly blaming Israel for these casualties will only encourage Hamas and other terror organizations around the world to use human shields," the Prime Minister wrote. "To render this cruel and cynical strategy ineffective, the international community must place the blame for these casualties squarely on Hamas. It must recognize that Israel is fighting the bigger battle of the civilized world against barbarism." and:

    4. "Once Hamas is destroyed, Gaza is demilitarized and Palestinian society begins a deradicalization process, Gaza can be rebuilt and the prospects of a broader peace in the Middle East will become a reality," Netanyahu wrote. However, this could take months or more likely even years, given Hamas numbers in the tens of thousands, and can hide in the extensive tunnel network under Gaza while waging a guerrilla campaign above."

Good to see the Israeli Government telling the (Biden/Obama and other) meddlers to 'pound sand'. 1,000-lb truth bombs. Long overdue. No more 'pricking briar'.

    Bro. Steve

  24. Sean, we continue to pray for you and your complete recovery. Thank you that even in difficult circumstances in your personal life, you continue to be a faithful watchman. We are all grateful for your love and dedication to The LORD and His Word.

In a side thought, I cannot help but wonder if Iran might be frustrated that the world has not taken the bait and launched a full scale war in the middle east. While coalitions are forming, no real action has been taken against them ... yet. Considering what the twelver regime believes, I cannot help but think this is why Iran continues to push and push in hopes of a dramatic escalation. They'll get what they're asking for, but definitely not the result they are looking for.
