Global SITREP B3-20: Psalm 90:10 Exegete

12 April 2020: A key verse that Eschatology Today has relied upon for the sum of last days exegesis is Psalm 90:10. It comes from within the whole of Psalm 90, which has been subtitled "A Prayer of Moses the Man of God." As with all Scripture the entire text is God-breathed and therefore infallible. Fallibility may have arisen in the manner in which exegesis of this verse has been applied for some time here.

Simply stated, the 80 years of strength is a whole. Those 80 years very likely should not have been subdivided in an assumption that the Harapzo of the bride of Christ needed occur about 7 years prior to that 80th year.

What had been done was to add 80 years to the year of Israel's rebirth (1948) as the beginning of the Lord's prophetic clock countdown, to arrive at the year 2028, and then 7 years were subtracted to account for Israel's 70th week of years (2021) occurring within the 80 years.

The correction of seeing the entire 80 years as a whole, not to be eschatologically dissected, is what the Lord leaned heavily on my heart about in recent days. He's told me to 'fix it." So fix it I must and with this SITREP have done so.

The Harpazo has always been an imminent, signless event ever since Pentecost of 32 AD, the day the bride of Christ was born. The imminence remains intact, and the Harpazo/Rapture/Laqach of the bride of Christ can take place according to the will of God at any moment, but still within the whole of those 80 years of strength, or between now and 2027-2028. Beyond the 80 years is where Israel's 70th week of years will take place.

It is always essential in exegesis of Scripture to do so in the context in which it appears. The Lord pushed my eyes to a verse in Psalm 90 that follows verse 10 and provides the necessary context. That verse is Psalm 90:12.

"So teach us to number our days so that we may get a heart of wisdom." The 'heart of wisdom" here, for myself at least, is to see that the 7 weeks of years of the Lord's wrath and judgment upon the earth should take place outside of the 80 years of strength instead of within them.

  1. Sean,
I was immediately reminded of Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.
23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

So many around us still do not know the unspeakable joy of a relationship with Jesus, to go from darkness to light.
So for them we press on....

  2. Sean, I would like to run this by you because I think this is fitting as well, In Hosea it says after 2 days you will raise us up and we will live in your site. If jesus died and was resurrected in AD 32 would that mean that the millennium would begin sometime after 2032 placing the start of the 70th week sometime after 2025? See how close these numbers match up? Am I on the right track here? If not, I'd like to be set straight because we are COMMANDED to know the times

    1. Hartdawg,

That fits nicely within the same general frame of reference for a complete 80 years.

    2. Thank you. I been thinking about the hosea passage and the psalm passage all week and I find it a remarkable coincidence that you posted what you did when you did. It answered some questions.

  3. Scholars prior to the Balfour declaration and ultimately Israel becoming a Nation again in 1948 saw the jews in their land as having to take place for Daniel's final prophesied "70th" week to take place and rightly so.
As you have written before Sean, we know we are really close when the Temple is rebuilt or very close to being built. I think this one event more than any other will tell us how close we are.

    1. Yes, a new Temple standing on its proscribed place is another key determining factor.

    2. In fact... the 3rd Temple is a red hot issue in Israel. If it weren't for the SARS-COV-2 in Israel the Sanhedrin would have conducted a Passover sacrifice. Check this out.

  4. Thanks for the link. I like J.D.'s last statement in the article.
"These prophecies yet to be fulfilled will in fact be fulfilled hopefully in the not too distant future."

  5. Hello Sean

I have appreciated your blog for a few years. It just occurred to me that if the rapture happened whilst we are in lockdown, they would blame the disappearance on the virus.

  6. B from Australia,

You're probably correct, but I'd hate to think the Harpazo vanishings could be attributed to the Commie Chinese PLA engineering a bioweapon. Of course, in this fallen secular world anything is possible.

    1. My thoughts exactly. I started feeling sad that so many people are afraid of death. Many australians are being plunged into financial ruin, homelessness and despair. Then I though that maybe the enemy wants to use this to cover up the rapture.

    2. Ah, there the fear aspect again. There's a lesson that in 1 Kings involving Jezebell, Elijah and fear. Some of us would do well to read it and even further.

  7. Nobody believes C-19 would be used as cover for the Harpazo. This was all in good humor. A joke. :D
