American Pastor Saeed Abedini Imprisoned in Iran and Facing a Hanging Muslim Judge IS NOW A FREE MAN!!!

UPDATE 16 January 2016: According to numerous media reports which were confirmed a few hours ago by the American Center for Law and Justice, Pastor Saeed Abedini was one of five dual-nationality American-Iranian prisoners released from Iranian imprisonment today. 

Also released with Pastor Abedini were Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, former U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati, and businessman Nosratollah Khosravi. The fifth one released was Matthew Trevithnick. These five were part of a deal that released seven Iranian prisoners from U.S. jails, six of who were also dual US-Iranian citizens who had been convicted as guilty of violating sanctions against Iran.

The release of Pastor Abedini is indeed an answer to many prayers offered to God by his brethren.

20 January 2013: Brothers and Sisters in Christ all over the world the situation of Pastor Saeed Abedini is our immediate concern, and we must lift him, his wife Naghmeh and their two young children up to God in prayer. Pastor Abedini, an American-Iranian citizen, was pulled off a public transportation bus and arrested in September 2012 for the same "crime" as Iranian Pastor Yusef Nadarkhani - his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his preaching of The Word to the Iranian people.

Pastor Abedini in being held in the notorious Evin Prison in Tehran where is subjected to an alternating daily regimen of physical torture, mental anguish, sleep deprivation as well as an unrelenting assault upon his inviolable human rights. A hastily scheduled trial before Judge Pir-Abassi the day after tomorrow, Monday, 21 January 2013, stands  before our brother-in-Christ. Judge Pir-Abassi is infamous the world over for the number of unwarranted death sentences he has handed down.

At the present time and to the best of any one's knowledge the United States Department of State under Hillary Rodham Clinton has done absolutely nothing to intercede on Pastor Abedini's behalf. Neither has U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama made an official statement regarding Pastor Abedini's imprisonment and impending trial. However, in a "better something than nothing" development the following statement was issued on Friday, 18 January by National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor:

“We remain troubled by the case of US citizen Saeed Abedini, who was arrested by Iranian officials more than three months ago on charges relating to his religious beliefs. We call upon Iranian authorities to release him immediately.”

Even though the United States of America's National Security Council remains "troubled," let us continue to pray in vigil wherever we are in the world for Pastor Saeed, his wife Naghmeh and their children in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Global SITREP C10-15: What's Next For The Islamic Republic of Iran?

21 July 2015:  It's no longer a guessing game but now an open fact. Prince Bandar bin Sultan, a former Saudi Ambassador to the United States for 20 years and chief of Saudi Arabia's intelligence directorate, has gone on record in an interview with the Daily Star (Lebanon) that was also picked up by the The Times of London, saying the P5+1 agreement with Iran will allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. In order to prevent this from happening Prince Bandar announced that Saudi Arabia and its GCC allies are now prepared to take military action against Iran without American support. It is not possible that Prince Bandar bin Sultan made this statement without his uncle, King Salman, personally directing him to do so.  

The "coalition of nations," interpretation I put forward and have frequently updated here on Eschatology Today (since September of 2010) regarding the literal fulfillment of Jeremiah 49:34-39 grows ever closer to becoming reality with each passing day.

14 July 2015:  The one thing which never should have happened, like the sheer insanity of the 1938 Munich Agreement, has happened; it has become fact. And make no mistake, this agreement is an insane capitulation to a regime which desires nothing more fervently than the ability to create a global apocalypse in pursuit of its religious beliefs. 

So it is from this point of secular insanity that we will move forward, now knowing what God has known all along - that American communists and European world socialists holding the reigns of power would achieve their agenda in making a deal with the demonic prince of Persia that guarantees the next great world war. It's no longer a question of if this war will erupt but when it will erupt.

So what will Israeli PM Netanyahu do: trust the fairly unreliable American Congress to kill this deal within the next 60 days or will Bibi take direct action to put the Iranian nuclear weapons program on hiatus for an unknown number of years? Will the Sunni Arabs join with Israel in executing this absolute necessity? Will Israel's other trustworthy allies lend their support? Only the God of Israel knows.

30 June 2015: What is next for the Islamic Republic of Iran? With this very day having been previously agreed to by all parties in the P5+1 nuclear negotiation with Iran as the date upon which a final agreement would be signed, the fact that no such agreement will be signed today or on the postponed to date of July 9th is the first secular indicator of what is next for Iran. 

Know this Christian: Iran has never had any intention of following through on any agreement over its nuclear program with other nations, not even those to which it has tentative understandings, such as the Russian Federation or the People's Republic of China.

What is next for the Islamic Republic of Iran has been in plain sight, at least for those who can read, since the totalitarian theocratic regime in Tehran officially adopted the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran in December 1979 (amended July 1989). 

As codified in this constitution the central and unimpeachable mission of the Islamic Republic has always been and will always be "to fulfill the ideological jihad of Allah's way, that is, extending the sovereignty of Allah's law throughout the world (in accordance with the Quranic verse "Prepare against them [the world] whatever force you are able to muster, strings of horses, striking fear into the enemy of Allah. and your enemy and others besides them.")" 

Bottom line: Iran has no true allies anywhere in the world. None. Iran has declared that its mandated mission direct from the false god "Allah" is to bring the rest of the nations of planet earth into submission under through whatever weapons they may wield. Iran will never relinquish its quest for nuclear weapons. 

This declarative Iranian Twelver objective is nothing less than world conquest and world domination. Therefore, no nuclear agreement with the enemy nations of the world can ever truly exist because it is in direct contravention of the will of "Allah" for the Iranian Twelver regime. If you would like more detail on the Iranian constitution and what it says, then an article published last week by Lt. Col. James G. Zumwalt, USMC(Ret.) will serve you well.

Questions: Are the sum of the American, British, French, German, European Union, Russian and Chinese governments military, intelligence and political leadership unaware of these facts? No, they are not; all facets of the Iranian Shi'a Twelver ideology is understood by these nations in the most unambiguous terms. Are these nations acting in denial of Iran's ideological objectives? No, they are not; they are acting in spite of Iran's ideological objectives and in full knowledge that failure of the P5+1 negotiations with Iran will result in military action.

What must be crystal clear to today's Christian, no matter where he or she may currently reside, is that the Iranian Shi'a Twelvers have lifted up their demonically inspired heads to declare themselves irrevocably opposed to all that the God of Israel has inspired His prophets to say in His written word. Obviously, what is next for Iran is the express judgment spoken through the prophet Jeremiah. The God of Israel will take away the foremost of their might and subdue the regime by the sword (warfare) to its total destruction.

And what must be clear to the secular denier of the God of Israel, no matter where in the world you may live, is that when this prophecy comes to its literal fulfillment you will no longer be able to deny that the God of Israel is exactly who and what He has said He is. You must then call upon the name of His Son, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Lord Jesus Christ for your personal salvation. We all pray that you will come to this realization of your own free will before it is too late. John 3:16. Amen.

Global SITREP A7-13

13 April 2013: UPDATE --  Because of this current untenable situation, it looks to me like the new paradigm I offered a glimpse of in Global SITREP A5-13 may take an unprecedented step forward. This unprecedented step will be one in which the People's Republic of China, acting on behalf of the community of nations represented and empowered by the authority of the United Nations, will act to seize control of North Korea's nuclear facilities and its missile forces. As we take leaps and bounds towards the 70th Week and the WMD wars that will precede it, an unprecedented step like this is not hard for someone like myself to conceive of as an imminent probability.

Prophecy will fulfill in this modern world exactly as it did in the ancient world; fulfilled Bible prophecy on this scale has always been a literal fulfillment due to the action of great nations wielding great power. The 'kings of the East' are integral to future prophetic fulfillments, and just as everything in the West is moving forward toward prophetic ends, so too are the things which must take place in the East moving forward toward those prophetic ends. The way forward is being prepared for the 'kings of the East.'


11 April 2013: At a public House Armed Services Committee hearing in Washington, D.C. just a very short time ago (within the past hour) Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) revealed the unclassified portion of a brand new Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) intelligence assessment that North Korea has developed the capability to arm a ballistic missile with a miniaturized nuclear warhead. The new assessment holds this capability to be true at a level of "moderate confidence."

The only question held back on was the reliability of the warhead to survive re-entry and work as designed. That would hold true for long-range ICBMs; but the assessment would have a higher confidence level for intermediate and short range ballistic missiles.

If North Korea has achieved this capability, then so has Iran, and this is of great strategic significance, especially to Israel.

Terrorist Nuclear Weaponry: A Digitized Nightmare

In March 2005 I wrote an article entitled “Smoking Gun: Iran Already Nuclear Armed"  which dealt with the 2001 Iranian acquisition of six Russian-made KH-55 nuclear-capable cruise missiles from the inventory of the former Soviet Union. It was Colonel Hryhoriy Omelchenko of the Ukrainian State Secret Services (SBU) within the newly-elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko’s government that alerted the world. Details of the illegal transfer were confirmed by the middleman in the transfer, Dr. Sarfraz Haider, who was found murdered in Cyprus in 2004. An autopsy of Dr. Haider revealed that his neck had been broken and his aorta split. Dr. Haider was quoted in a February 2005 article in the Australian Herald-Sun newspaper as having stated prior to his murder, "What's the use of the missiles without them [warheads]?" The KH-55 cruise missiles were designed to carry a 200kT nuclear warhead to a target more than 1,860 miles away.

On Sunday we learned from the International Herald-Tribune that an advanced nuclear warhead design was discovered by American and IAEA investigators resident in the global network of computers belonging to Pakistani nuclear proliferation network engineer AQ Khan. The advanced design was verified as operational in tests conducted by Pakistan during May of 1998. Most disturbing about this discovery is the unknown number of copies which were made and distributed to any number of governments or terrorist organizations. It is also known that this advanced design included the digital coding necessary for automated machining of the parts for the warhead. All that is missing from this proven weapon design is the fissionable HEU (highly enriched uranium) core of the warhead. And what has the Islamic Republic of Iran been so relentlessly enriching in the clandestine nuclear weapons facilities in the face of feckless Western negotiations and ineffectual regime of sanctions? The fissionable HEU core for this nuclear warhead, of course.
Recall the brouhaha over the November 2007 NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) on Iranian nuclear progress. The big issue at the time was that Iran had halted its work on how to design and build a nuclear warhead way back in 2003. No wonder. The Iranian’s already had six KH-55 delivery systems to reverse engineer and upgrade and they very probably had AQ Khan’s proven, mass-production ready warhead design. What else could the Iranian’s possibly need?

Time.

All that Iran needed was time to manufacture the weapon delivery systems, the warheads and enriched HEU. That time has been provided them in abundance as the West failed to act in any meaningful way. Remember, we’re talking about an Iran which is the preeminent terrorist sponsoring state on the planet, an Iran whose Shi’a zealots desire an Armageddon scenario to hasten the arrival of their well-dwelling al-Mahdi, an Iran which has on more than one occasion pledged to annihilate Western civilization beginning with the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel.

Is there any question what hard assessment America and its allies must arrive at in very short order to preempt this digitized nuclear nightmare? We should hope not.

FACTS:

Any nation that has developed the capability to place a satellite in orbit has achieved the technical capability to hit another nation anywhere on the face of the earth with a nuclear weapon.

Iran and North Korea have both placed satellites into orbit. North Korea's KMS 3-2 satellite (NORAD Number 39026) is currently in a polar earth orbit at an altitude of approximately 513 miles as of this morning. Iran has been placing indigenous satellites into earth orbits since the Omid telecommunications and data processing satellite was launched February 2009.




Here's the bottom line as I pieced it together last evening during more research and dot-connecting:

• The miniaturized warhead referenced by the DIA assessment is almost certainly the same warhead that was proliferated to both Libya and IRAN by the AQ Khan Network via digitized blueprints and data sets.

• The warhead is a 2nd Generation Chinese HEU nuclear device which was covertly given to Pakistan in the late 1990s. Pakistan built and tested and validated the Chinese design in 1998; the warhead now sits on top of Pakistani ballistic missiles aimed at India.

• AQ Khan gave the design in digital blueprint form to Iran and Iran passed it to North Korea. They have obviously jointly produced the same Chinese warhead. This HEU warhead was successfully tested in North Korea on 12 FEB 2013, which is the start date for the current crisis.
  

What this means for Israel, as well as for South Korea, Japan and the US should be very obvious

Iran Completes Its Conquest of Lebanon

UPDATE: 20 January 2011: Today's DEBKAfile report, Hezbollah's eleventh-hour pullback from siege of UN sites and troops, might be dismissed by some as being fanciful, but I'm here to inform that there's a whole lot of facts behind it.

On December 6, 2010 the Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star reported that Hezbollah's political ally and world-class Jew hater, Wi'am Wahhab, made the following statement: "If the outside [world] is indifferent toward strife in Lebanon, we can confirm that in the event of strife, UNIFIL troops in Lebanon will not be left in peace." But this really isn't new news, Wahhab's been making the same threat since last July.

Obviously, Hezbollah's current military operational orders, as directed by the Iranian Ayatollah, were planned well in advance. The enhanced Western military presence referred to below indicates that our intelligence and military command authorities took these threats seriously. We'll soon see if Hezbollah is feeling froggy enough to go ahead and jump. It might be the last thing they ever do.

UPDATE 18 January 2011: As of early this morning Hezbollah and AMAL (AMAL is a former rival and secular Lebanese Shi'a militia) soldiers were seen taking up positions on the streets of Beirut. While this might seem to be much-ado-over-nothing in the crazy world of Lebanon, the streets in which these Shi'a soldiers were taking up fighting positions are in Sunni Muslim neighborhoods. The Sunni's are obviously very concerned with this turn of events.

The cause of the Hezbollah/Amal deployment is due to the U.N. STL Prosecutor, Daniel A. Bellemare, CONFIDENTIALLY filing his indictments in the 2005 assassination of PM Rafiq al-Hariri and the murder of 22 others with the Tribunal Registrar yesterday, 17 JAN 11. The Tribunal Registrar will next submit the indictment to the U.N. STL Pre-Trial (international) Judge. Thus, the U.N. STL has entered into the judicial phase of its existence. The (international) Pre-Trial Judge is expected to confirm the indicments and release them publicly. Most observers expect both living and deceased members of Hezbollah's leadership to be named in the indictments, with at least one French report (AFP) publicly indicating that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamene'i to also be included among those indicted.

Additionally, according to new information from Al-Arabia, the former first President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abolhasssan Bani Sadr, (now living in exile in France) has confirmed the U.N. STL indictments will name Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamene'i as well as both living and deceased members of Hezbollah as being the persons responsible for the assassination and murders. Bani Sadr reportedly stated that Khamene'i personally ordered the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri saying, "only someone in my position can understand the necessity of such an action." Bani Sadr went on to state that he expects Ayatollah Khamene'i will now "liquidate" Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, mostly likely due to his extemely poor handling of the U.N. STL situation.

UPDATE 12 January 2011: Today Hezbollah's threatened "Zero Hour" arrived at 4:30 PM Beirut time, 07:30 AM Eastern Standard Time.

The "Zero Hour" arrived with the resignations of all eleven Hezbollah government ministers from their posts. The effect of these resignations was the immediate collapse of Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri's government. The resignations occurred as an effective preemption of Prime Minister al-Hariri's meeting with Obama in Washington later today.

I believe Hezbollah and their militia allies will now move rapidly to fill the lack of a functioning government vacuum their long-planned action was designed to cause. The resignations of Hezbollah's government minister has the effect of being a coup d'etat.

This crisis may also become an impetus for the U.N. STL to immediately issue their long anticipated indictments of Hezbollah for Rafiq al-Hariri's assassination, and possibly for some form of Western military intervention to thwart Iranian military expansion into the Eastern Mediterranean.

The USS Enterprise (CVN-65) Carrier Strike Group (CSG), including Destroyer Squadron-2, the AEGIS cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55) and destroyers USS Barry (DDG-52), USS Bulkeley (DDG-84), and USS Mason (DDG-87) are enroute to the Mediterranean Sea in an augmentation of the US Navy's 6th Fleet.

27 November 2010: The Islamic Republic of Iran's long-term conquest of the Republic of Lebanon is a fait accompli. Once again the agenda of the Islamic Republic has not only trumped that of the inept and feckless Western Powers but it is in fact a de facto usurpation of the imminent, and so-called "inviolable" United Nations Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) indictments in the case of the 2005 assassination of Prime Minister Rafiq HARIRI.

This chessboard-like achievement was made evident as Western leaders slept early this morning with the arrival in Tehran of the current Lebanese Prime Minister Saad HARIRI. The Lebanese Prime Minister's trip to Iran ahead of the official releasing the the STL's indictments on the assassination of Saad's father belies Hezbollah's threatened "Zero Day" coup d'etat.

A report by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) published on Sunday 21 November, and aired globally on Monday 22 November, revealed that the U.N. STL's indictments provided irrefutable proof in the form of a loyal Lebanese officer's intelligence operation which identified senior members of Hezbollah as Rafiq Hariri's assassins.

According to documentation in the U.S. Library of Congress, Hezbollah has from its inception in 1982 has been a forward deployed element of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) when a small contingent of Pasdaran, a/k/a the "Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution," a/k/a the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, arrived and set up shop at Baalbek in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley in 1982.

Therefore, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad-eddine Rafiq al-Hariri is this morning, and tomorrow the esteemed quest and the newest sock-puppet of the Iranian Ayatollah's regime, a regime who ultimately ordered the assassination of his father.

The word treason is probably in the forefront the minds of those few liberty loving Lebanese citizens who brought about the short-lived "Cedar Revolution" and now watch as their nation has been taken from them with nary a word or deed from the so-called democratic West. Never have I entertained the thought that the treachery of Neville Chamberlain would be eclipsed. Today I stand quietly corrected.

Obama’s Fecklessness the Cause of Iranian Nuclear Genocide

18 May 2010: When the coming series of wars erupts in the Middle East between Israel and her many enemies, the blame for the cause of this war can be hung around the collar of U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama and his feckless political agenda.

There is now nothing short of decisive Israeli military action to keep the apocalypse-oriented Islamic Republic of Iran from indigenously developing nuclear weapons. Iranian possession of nuclear weapons all but assures nuclear genocide on a scale no rational human being can possibly imagine.

The only remaining questions I have are:

1.) When and how robustly will Israel strike Iran?

2.) Will the Lord hold America responsible?

Bibi Netanyahu Tells The Truth

9 March 2010: Todays Jerusalem Post reports on the Pastor John Hagee-chaired Christians United for Israel meeting held Monday night at the Jerusalem Convention Center. Here is the critically most important thing PM Netanyahu said at the meeting. I seriously doubt, although I would love to be incorrect, that the lamestream media in the US, including FoxNews will report this:

“Time after time, through thick and thin, you have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our state. Today that friendship is more important than ever, because Israel faces unprecedented challenges to its security. There is no greater threat to mankind than a radical Islamic regime gaining nuclear weapons. If Iran develops nuclear weapons, the world would never be the same. Remember that for the tyrants in Iran, Israel is only the little Satan. Their real target is America."

This has been absolutely true since day one of the current Iranian regime. In visual form the above statement was first made with this image several years ago. Notice carefully which orb is broken first in the image above. The United States of America's current president has as his primary concern a dead-on-arrival socialist healthcare plan. Obviously, somewhere down near the bottom of his priorities list is this very real threat.

The Perplexities Involving Iran and Israel in These Last Days

6 September 2009: "... and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity..." Here we have one of the most often overlooked descriptives provided by Jesus in his authoritative discourse on what will happen or be existent in these last days. In these few words tucked into the middle of Luke 21:25 the Lord provides us with a geopolitical and military snap shot depicting that the nations in existence in the period of time immediately preceeding His return will be in a state of synochē and aporia, which translate as being in distress or anguish and not knowing what to do or in doubt about what to do. I believe the Lord then, in His following two words, told us exactly where on planet earth the epicenter of this distress, anguish and perplexity of the nations would be extant. Jesus said "thalassa" meaning "the sea" or more precisely the Mediterranean, Red, Dead, Galilee and other seas of the Middle East, including the Persian Gulf. Does this not precisely describe the geopolitical and military situation in the Middle East today, from Libya to Iran and from Turkey to the Horn of Africa? Embedded smack dab in the middle of this international maelstrom is the State of Israel.

And on top all of this, I cannot help but to apply the prophecy of Isaiah 22, and particularly to verses 5 and 6 wherein the prophet speaks directly to the nations of Elam and Judah, or as we know them today, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the State of Israel, the last days and the coming of the Lord. Certainly to the secular world at large, but also to the Jews and the Islamists, these are days of trouble. Israel is surrounded by enemies whose conspiratorial desire is to destroy her as a nation so that the name Israel be remembered no more. These "inner ring" enemies of Israel are clearly listed in Psalm 83, yet among them we find no mention or reference to Iran.

The issue of why Iran is omitted from Asaph's Psalm 83 prophecy has many Christians perplexed to the point that it has become a key issue many are continually asking eschatologists to address these days. We have discussed this issue previously within various entries on Eschatology Today, as have many others on their websites. Yet, the issue remains.
