Update 21 February 2015: If there was any doubt about the accuracy of what has been stated in this Eschatology Today blog post, then I would hope that what former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani has publicly burst forth with regarding our president will have buttressed the point that this nation has arrived at a critical juncture. A juncture such as this can also be referred to as "the breaking point" between the "life and death" of this constitutional republic.
Even though many on the left and even some centrists are now in a virtual vapor lock over Giuliani's public statements, the fact remains that they are reacting as they are simply because the former mayor has told the brutal truth in saying, "He doesn’t love you. He doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way
you were brought up and I was brought up: To love this country.” Kudos to Rudy Giuliani for saying what needed to be said when it needed to be said. And its better late than never that he said what he has said.
The only question now is, will this make a difference in the short-term? I don't care about the long-term simply because the Lord's prophetic word settled that issue long ago and its irrevocable. What concerns me is the here and now short-term and the tangible effects these things will have on our lives and how the words of Proverbs 24 and Ephesians 6:10-18 are powerfully resonating.
6 February 2015: Many teachers of Bible prophecy have pointed out over the years that America is not mentioned specifically in the 'last days,' and because of this they have assumed or speculated that the country would have been attacked and destroyed by a nuclear armed enemy; or laid low by a natural disaster of unimaginable proportions; or even judged by Almighty God before the judgments of the other nations of the world during the 70th Week.
Well, I do not believe there is a single human being alive today who accurately knows the future in the kind of detail that led to the above speculations, not even the so-called Bible prophecy "experts." The only things I know for sure are what the Holy Spirit directly convicts me of, or what I hear and see with my own eyes and ears and have tested their validity. What I have heard very recently passes muster with both of these testable thresholds.
This country of ours, the United States of America, is now facing the greatest danger it has ever faced since the Revolution of the late 1770s. A danger great than Hitler, Tojo, Stalin or Mao ever posed to our way of life. The danger we face today is within our own government leadership, from the Executive Office to all of our intelligence agencies and every department of the government that deals on a day to day basis with our national security. All of these institutions of the American government been compromised to the highest level by Islamists, the same Islamists that the General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the Egyptian Army had to over throw in a coup d'etat in July 2013, the al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun, the Muslim Brotherhood.

"Never in my lifetime did I believe this great nation would be taken down and withdrawn from its world leadership position by its own leadership. While some try to explain away the Obama administration’s damaging policies by making excuses, they fail to face reality. This is a planned agenda.
When then-Sen. Barack Obama announced in 2008 that he was going to fundamentally transform America, few Americans comprehended what that declaration actually meant. However, with his radical background and his leftist mentors and associates, his agenda became very clear early on in his presidency.
With its many scandals, including the Benghazi tragedy, the perverse “progressive” ideology of the Obama administration, combined with its deceitful and manipulative methods, has corrupted normally nonpartisan government agencies. More importantly, it has infected the civilian and military leadership who lead their agencies.
The core of the corruption is an attitude that flaunts the Constitution and takes the position that the president can do anything he wants with a pen and a phone that promotes an agenda, regardless of its impact on the country’s national security.
We used to have giants in Congress such as John Stennis, Richard Russell, Tip O’Neill, et al., who were Americans first and party members second when it came to matters affecting our national security. Regretfully, other than a few in the minority, that doesn’t exist today.
Clearly, trust in our government institutions has been eroded. Furthermore, the Obama administration’s embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood, with its penetration of essentially all our government agencies, including the Department of Defense, has had an adverse impact on our policies, particularly with regard to the Middle East and the global war on terrorism. As we have seen, the administration switched sides in that war in Libya by financing, training and arming Islamic jihadist militias who were under the political control of the Muslim Brotherhood. It was these same militias that carried out the terrorist attacks on the U.S. compound in Benghazi. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s failure to provide adequate security prior to the attack even though there was advanced warning, according to five CIA security contractors at the Benghazi annex, as well as the administration’s failure to respond militarily, was a dereliction of duty.
Nonetheless, it was the catalyst for the implementation of “sequestration.” It provided the vehicle for the unilateral disarmament of our military forces.
With the United States being challenged throughout the world, our reduced military forces are severely stretched in meeting all their requirements. However, we still retain the capability to mount a massive, around-the-clock air campaign to defeat the Islamic State. The few strikes per day we are conducting in Iraq and Syria, with restricted rules of engagement, do not constitute a serious air campaign.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff know that what we are doing today in Iraq and Syria to defeat the Islamic State is wrong. By their acquiescence to the administration’s half-hearted war policies, they cannot escape being held accountable for the genocide the Islamic State will inflict on the Syrian inhabitants of Kobani, the Kurds and other minorities.
The real question is, how do you change the disastrous Obama administration policies that affect our national security? Obviously, the ballot box is one way, but the one institution that has the power to send an unmistakable signal that will be heard throughout the country is the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It is time for them to live up to their oath of office — “to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic.” The Obama administration has clearly violated the Constitution and must be held accountable. Since we no longer can count on Congress, the Joint Chiefs as a corporate body should voice their objections to administration policies that are threatening America’s security and that of our allies. It’s time to take back America."
How does this country get out of this mess? The November 2016 election is definitely the preferred method as the Admiral has just made abundantly clear above. However, given the current and nearly catastrophic world situation, the next 22 months could prove to be too long, too little and too late. As the Admiral suggests, it may boil down to a few senior flag officers of our Armed Forces, that is the one's who are left in the wake of the Islamist putsch of American military officers following the Benghazi massacre, who will take a stand against all enemies, foreign and domestic. So help them God.

Although she is no longer part of the Obama Administration, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had at her side a Muslim woman by the name of Huma Abedin. Huma Abedin is Hillary's' 'special aide' and carried the official title of Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. If Hillary is the Democrat Party nominee for president in the 2016 election, and it able to win the election, then the Islamist Huma Abedin almost certainly will be a part of a Clinton Administration and an Islamic supremacist will once again be resident in our White House. Huma Abedin comes from a family with very active membership in the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun, or just Ikhwan for short). Huma also spent twelve years for a Saudi Arabian think-tank known as the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA). According to Andrew C. McCarthy, the agenda and still active purpose of the IMMA is “to grow an unassimilated, aggressive population of Islamic supremacists
who will gradually but dramatically alter the character of the West.” So, ask yourself a question. What is the difference between an Islamic jihadist and an Islamic supremacist? The answer: none. Their objectives are identical. The former U.S. House of Representatives Republican from Minnesota's 6th Congressional District, Michele Bachmann, deserves much credit for exposing these facts over the past six years.
Other Islamists currently embedded within the Obama Administration were exposed by the Arabic-language Egyptian publication Rose El-Youssef in December 2012. co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC); Imam Mohamed
Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA); and
Eboo Patel, a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council on
Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships." This article explains what we have seen in practical application in everything President Obama has said and his administration has done thus far with respect to Islam's war (jihad) against us and his personal refusal (Islamic al-taqiyya) to identify Islamists as the enemy at war with us. That explanation boils down to the fact the Obama Administration has never operated from a position of hostility toward the Islamic terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood, but instead became the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood on the face of the earth.
Were you aware that terrorist Muslim Brotherhood representatives and HAMAS supporters received direct access on Wednesday 28, January 2015 to Congress and the U.S. State Department in order to request their assistance in restoring the overthrown Islamist government of Mohamed Morsi to power in Egypt? The IPT reported this on 29 January.This happens at the same time as American taxpayer dollars are sent to Israel to assist an Obama Administration attempt to defeat Likud and Benjamin Netanyahu in the Israel's parliamentary elections next month. Have you seen even one comprehensive report about any of this on an American prime time news program aired by media giants such as CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC or even FoxNews? How about a single coherent sentence about this? Why not? So, ask yourself why an Egyptian magazine would think this information was important enough to inform the Egyptian people about as they struggle against the Islamist tyranny, revolution, insurrection and outright war in their homeland by the likes of the Muslim Brotherhood, HAMAS and Islamic State. Might you think none of this has any relation to 'last days' Bible prophecy? Try reading Isaiah 19. This is what the above Islamists and many more of their brothers are intent on bringing to these United States of America.
One last question. What, if anything, will you as an American citizen personally do about it?
