18 October 2009: This week bore witness to what Bible eschatologists and Christian watchmen have been warning about for years : the inevitable and unequivocal defection of Turkey from the NATO military alliance in favor of the military alliance identified by the ancient national names of Ezekiel 38-39 and best known as the Gog-Magog Alliance. With ever increasing rapidity Bible prophecy is being fulfilled. The Bride of Christ has taken full notice while the secular institutions which surround all of us in the West and in Israel officially remain blissfully ignorant if not wilfully unconscious.
Turkey not only unceremoniously bounced Israel out of a longstanding annual airborne 'Anatolian Eagle" military exercises, but it cemented a new military alliance with Israel's arch-enemy and continuing state-of-war belligerent in Syria. This new military alliance enjoins the Turks and Syrians to another new military alliance between Turkey and Iran against the Kurds of northern Iraq and along Turkey and Iran's common border south of Armenia. Last February the new Turkish and Iranian strategic alliance was highlighted in the MEMRI Special Dispatch No. 2248. Again, none of this is news to the Bride of Christ. We've been warning about it for years.
Asà es la venida de CRISTO esta cerca. Gloria a DIOS.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteWell, looks as if everything is with Bible Prophecy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about anyone else here, but I'm listening for Jesus to say "Come up hither"...:)
Perhaps Isaiah 17:1 is going to take place very very soon now...
God Bless all
OOPS!! I meant to say "Looks as if everything is lining up with Bible Prophecy"
ReplyDeleteGod Bless
Good points Sean. We can definitely see Turkey setting themselves up for their soon to be date with destiny and meeting with the God of Israel per Ezekiel 38-39. I think all we'd need for that to happen is an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. The intensity in which Turkey and Iran are spewing their evil rhetoric makes me believe that this prophecy could come to fulfillment soon. Only time will tell, but things are heating up for sure. And that prospect gets closer with each passing day.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!!
Chris
Chris,
ReplyDeleteI'm of the mind that the catalyst for the Turkish defection to the Magog Axis has always been present within the country. It has existed just below the surface of the secular Torkish state since the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the abolishment of the Sultanate exactly 87 years ago today - November 1, 1922.
The name of the catalyst is Islam.
This brings me to another angle I've been studying for the past few days.
It is also apparent to me why the EL-IA clique believes as they do about Turkey being the core of the empire of the antichrist. One look at THIS MAP shows that at the height of its power the Islamic Ottoman Empire was the successor empire to the Romans and the Byzantines.
It remains abundantly apparent that the compound error of the EL-IA clique is both interpretative and temporal, relative to the literal fulfillment of Daniel 9:26.
The EL-IA eisegesis has always been a completely avoidable error which has been based upon historical ignorance and willful substitution of the clear intent of Daniel's God-given prophecy.
Moreover, the origin of these Isamic Antichrist errors can be traced to Islam itself, where the Christian concept of the coming Antichrist has been substituted by the Islamic "Dajjal." Every bit of Islamic eschatology about "Dajjal" is Satanically corrupted and highly embellished Biblical prophetic truths about the coming Antichrist.
As we all know Islam is a false, Satan-inspired deception. As a so-called doctrine-based religion Islam propagates and manifests itself in all of its attendant trappings, such as its eschatology.
The core issue for us is that ISLAMIC ESCHATOLOGY HAS BEEN INJECTED INTO CHRISTIAN EVANGELICAL AND DISPENSATIONAL ESCHATOLOGY BY CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS WHO CLAIM A FULL CONVERSION TO CHRIST. In other words they have brought some of their brainwashed-from-childhood Islamic baggage with them into our church and are preaching it and deceiving some of the Bride of Christ and well as the currently unsaved.
I am of the opinion that bring such baggage along and then preaching it IS NOT POSSIBLE. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
No part of Islam or its trappings can remain within a true Christian, a vessel of the Holy Spirit.
Sean,
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. You said here:
ISLAMIC ESCHATOLOGY HAS BEEN INJECTED INTO CHRISTIAN EVANGELICAL AND DISPENSATIONAL ESCHATOLOGY BY CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS WHO CLAIM A FULL CONVERSION TO CHRIST.
I can tell you that many of the folks who claim this EL-IA theory don't even have a statement of beliefs or confession of Christ on their website. Joel Richardson is probably the biggest promoter that as of my last viewing of his silly site doesn't even have a statement of beliefs up on it.
Yet this guy is meeting up with folks in the islamic arena. That Harun fellow might even be Joel's mentor as he said that he went to meet with him at his "invitation" and "for a time of personal connection and discussion". Sounds a little fishy to me.
Why does Joel have a links to "study islam" and to "read the koran"? Why read these satanic trash? It's all lies from the enemy!! do you have any insight into that Sean? For the life of me I can't figure out why a Christian site would have links on it "study islam". Odd it is. :-(
Wouldn't it be just like the devil to plant "workers" in the fields that are teaching all kinds of bad theology taking people's eyes of sound and conservative theology and instead chasing every new fad theory out there including this EL-IA nonsense?
Keep following the faith and teaching sound, conservative theology Sean. It is time tested and we know that God's word doesn't lie.
God bless.
This is an interesting opinion posting from Rapture ready regarding this and other related subjects - http://www.raptureready.com/soap/kit1.html
ReplyDeleteThere are numerous exegetical points on which I would find myself disagreement with Kit Olsen's "Psalm 83 and the Battle of Ezekiel 38 and 39." I cite one key item which makes the case against his argument that Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 are the same war.
ReplyDelete"Where does it say in Psalm 83 that man-made military forces will save Israel?"
Reference my article of 22 September 2009 linked HERE
"Immediately after this naming of the "inner ring' enemies we come to the "do unto" (`asah) meaning of something for the Lord to accomplish against these enemies. First among them is the historical reference to the Midianites (Midyan), the Arabians -the Arabs, who come against Israel as Sisera, meaning in battle array, and as Jabin at the brook of Kishon (Qiyshown), which is central Israel via the West Bank.
It is interesting to note here that this location was also the site where Elijah had his confrontation with the false god Baal. It would appear that Asaph is prophetically invoking what was recorded in 1 Kings 18:17-40 where judgment is visited against a false god ("allah") and a false prophet (Muhammed) in the manner of an irresistible force. It's as if all of Islam comes against Yisra'el and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and is subsequently consumed in totality by the flaming pyre of an animal sacrifice. I cannot help but come away from these verses thinking that Asaph is prophetically telling us that history will once again repeat itself and that the defeat of the newest false god of the Arabs ("allah") will begin with the battle that erupts here. Yes, it appears to me that the defeat inflicted here upon the Arabs and their false god/false religion is as total as the destruction that was inflicted upon Israel's enemies at Endor; and they were left as nothing more than "dung for the ground."
Asaph then discusses the leadership of this Arab confederation. First among them is Oreb, which is synonymous with a rock east of the Jordan River, in what today is the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Zeeb appears to be a reference to Israel making prey of these enemies as wolves take prey in the evening hours. Zebah is a reference to a failed invasion of Israel where the invaders found themselves deprived of any defensive protection and were massacred like helpless animals. Zalumunna invokes the same prophetic image where the invaders of Israel find no place to hid or take refuge in the face of the Israeli counter-attack.
Then in verse 15 two words come up which have modern equivalents in the inventory of the Israel Defense Forces. These enemies are to be persectued (radaph), meaning put to flight, by a tempest (ca'ar) and terrified by a storm (cuwphah). The modern equivalents of these words are Sa'ar, the Israeli Navy's extremely capable corvette missile ship, and the Sufa, the Israeli Air Force's deadly F-16I extended-range strike aircraft. Either of the modern weapons platforms can reach anywhere and rain death upon the territories of the "inner ring" enemies and beyond. This is the sense I get in reading verses 13 and 14 where these enemies are rolled back as "stubble before the wind," and "as flame (lehabah) sets the hills on fire." I note here that the word lehabah not only means flame, but also the tip of a weapon, a point, or the head of a spear. Terminology like this can mean only one thing - an overwhelming military force brought to bear upon an enemy which cannot defend itself on the battlefield, has nowhere to run and hide, whose destruction is complete and total."
With respect to Kit Olsen's contention cited in bold print above, did the Lord personally accomplish the defeat of Israel's enemies in the battles referenced by Asaph, or did certain Israelite military leaders and the troops and weapons under their command accomplish these overwhelming defeats under His direction and authority?
Israel said today that Turkey was not an "impartial" third party to host talks between them and Syria. Netanyahu did say that France could be a good third party mediator between the two sides.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't really think now is the time for Israel to worry about Syria. They've got enough problems with the Iranian nuclear program. That would seem to be the first priority to me.
Of course, Syria could come into the equation when the next conflict occurs with the Palestinians. It's hard to say when all these things will occur and which will occur first, but they all seem to be on track to happen in the near future. Keep watching!! JMHO
God bless.
