Global SITREP E2-21: US Airstrikes in Syria; Israeli MV Helios Ray attacked by Iran

Update 27 February 2021: On a hunch Eschatology Today posted this SITREP upon the privately-held assessment it would not be a one-off singular retaliatory strike and that further events would follow in short order. A correct assessment it was.

Within 18 hours of the U.S. strikes in Syria an Israeli-owned car carrier ship, the MV Helios Ray (Helios Highway image above), was attacked with a least two Iranian magnetic limpet mines after departing Dammam, Saudi Arabia and transiting the Strait of Hormuz outbound into the Gulf of Oman. There were no injuries to the crew, but the ship immediately reversed course and headed for Port Dubai to conduct a damage assessment. Initial reports indicate the limpet mines were attached to both port and starboard sides of the ship's hull causing holes 5 feet (1.5m) in diameter just above the waterline. 

An interesting twist reported by the Israeli Hebrew-language broadcaster, Kann News, is that the MV Helios Ray is owned by the Tel Aviv-Jaffa based Ray Shipping Ltd. Ray Shipping CEO Rami Ungar is tied closely to Mossad chief Yossi Cohen. No sourcing for this twist to the report was given.

Iran has been warned repeatedly that it cannot act with impunity.

26 February 2021: At approximately 02:00 in the morning today (18:00 EST last evening) American aircraft began a series of retaliatory airstrikes against several Iranian proxy militia (Kataib Hezbollah and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada) weapons depot sites in the area of Ayyash-Al Bukamal, Dier Ez-Zor province, Syria.  

Kataib Hezbollah and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada within the past two weeks launched deadly rocket attacks against US and Coalition forces bases in the area of Erbil, Iraq. A Philippino contractor was killed and American personnel were injured in the rocket attacks.

An anonymous U.S. source reported the strikes were carried out by USAF F-15E following surveillance by a UAE-based USAF Bombardier E-11A aircraft and its Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) over the area.

In the midst of Biden Administration efforts to re-engage Iran in a nuclear agreement this strike sends a clear message about U.S. resolve to protect American and Allied forces in Iraq and the entire Persian Gulf region.

Update 27 February 2021: An aei.org OpEd published yesterday has quickly called into question the Biden Administration's narrative on the airstrike in Syria. Point blank, the OpEd reports (a good assessment!) that problems with the strike are two-fold. First, the wrong targets were hit, and second, the Biden Administration's claim that the strikes were proportional are erroneous at best. They were not even remotely proportional, they were a wrist-slap instead of a sledgehammer blow. A truly proportional retaliatory strike would have Guam-based B-1B Lancer strategic bombers and their stand-off weaponry striking an Iranian air base as the U.S. and Coalition base in Erbil, Iraq was struck. 

Instead of causing Iran and its proxy militias to stand down, the Biden-approved retaliation strike will exacerbate regional tensions and lead to more significant escalations in the region.

Global SITREP E1-21: The Harpazo Part II

"Come up hither!"

Repost 25 February 2021: This is a re-issued SITREP from it's last update on 25 December 2019. It is a reminder that the prophetic times we consider on Eschatology Today are of two distinct calendars. Mixing the two is erroneous and very confusing. In explanation, let's just say that prior to the Harpazo, in our current Romans 11:25 "times of the gentiles" time, time is counted on the 365-day Gregorian calendar. In the post-Harpazo world the Bible is clear (Revelation 11:1-3) that the 360-day Hebrew calendar will be in effect, hence the 2,520 days comprising the 70th week of years, or the two 1,260 days halves (times, time and half a time) delinating the Thlipsis (Tribulation and ministry of the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem at the 3rd Temple) from the Megas Thlipsis (Great Tribulation). 

The difference between the Gregorian and the Hebrew calendar with respect to Psalm 90:10 (i.e. form 70 to 80 years) is 350 to 400 days, or about a full Gregorian calendar year. Since no man can know the day or the hour, doing such mathematical calculations is essentially fruitless - we are already deep within the season. The tangible, physical thing that Eschatology Today watches for, prior to being caught up, is a sudden and drastic change in the current status of the Temple Mount. As can be seen in the linked Scripture above, and as discussed here previously, the 3rd Temple will be standing and in operation on day one of the Two Witnesses ministry. Maybe we'll see this, maybe we won't, time is that short.

25 December 2019: The last time this topic of The Harpazo (Laqach or Rapture if you prefer the Hebrew or Latin versions of the word) appeared here over two and a half years ago, it was because of what the late Jack Kelley had written on the subject. I have been feeling a pull to revisit this yet again, feeling that time is very, very short and quickening all the time. 

Well, yesterday, and to be perfectly honest, it was made clear that the Lord got tired of my procrastinating and He put it all right in my face. Got my full attention, He did! So, if you will look once again at that linked post, it'll help in understanding what I now understand are absolute facts concerning the day that only the Lord knows and we know as the "blessed hope." 

I now believe, although I don't know exactly which one, that the LORD God will send His Son for us and the Harpazo will occur on a Pentecost Sunday in either 2020 or 2021. I had requested others to do some personal Berean research, and maybe that was a little to much to ask, so absent that here's what I've come to understand by Berean study and using our late brother Jack Kelley's well-researched article, on "The Feast of Pentecost" as a Spirit-led guide. 

The first Harpazo, which is how the first harvest of grain is taken, suddenly by a sickle, the "first fruits" was that of Henowk (Enoch in modern English parlance, and whose name means "teaching"). It occurred on a day the Lord set aside as a feast day, the very same day tradition holds that Henowk/Enoch was born and was taken by God. It's the same day on which the bride of Christ was born, and God only knows, when He will send His Son to take his bride. This day throughout thousands of years is the same day, be it called Shavuot or Pentecost. Have we just re-learned something from Henowk/Enoch? I believe I have.

This day was also known in advance, which is why its name in Greek equates to "count 50" and in counting 50 days, or more correctly, counting seven Sabbaths (49 days) and the next day, the 50th day is the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the gathered apostles in Jerusalem (and others as well) to give birth to what was originally known as "the Way." Going back a bit in Israel's history, it's also the day Moses delivered "the Law" as given by God, and the nation of Israel was born. 

Can anyone see where I'm going with this (?) and which I hope is not confusing anyone either! In dispensationalism, God stopped dealing with Israel on the same day as He began dealing with the bride of Christ, the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on those apostles and the first Christians. It's a day the Lord set apart long ago, and we know how the Lord keeps His appointments. 

I'll say something more - all of this is the absolute ultimate in prophetic fulfillment, from Moses giving the Law sent down by God to Israel, to the Lord sending down the Holy Spirit to establish His bride. The end of this dispensation sees this Divine process reversed, the bride of Christ is taken, as Henowk/Enoch was taken on Pentecost, and Israel receives the Spirit on earth as God pours it out upon, at a minimum, 144,000 of them (see Ezekiel 39:29 and Romans 11:25-27).

I also believe Jack Kelley was at least partially correct in that the Harpazo is probably not a date-specific event, but a number specific event (the number of the last human to be redeemed in Christ). However, where I differ is that given the history of the day we know as both Shavuot/Pentecost, it could also be on that day that God has known from the beginning that both the full number of gentiles is the same day the Henowk/Enoch was taken up - Pentecost.

These studies continue as I do believe there is more to learn. One item is the question of "why 50 days?" It's kind of specific, as can be seen in hindsight in the direct relationship between Passover and Atonement in the Blood of Christ and Shavuot/Pentecost. It was all predetermined by the Lord.Lo and behold His command is found in Leviticus 23:15-17. 

"And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord. You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord."

Finally there's II Kings 2:7, the "fifty men of the sons of the prophets" of Jericho. Why 50? Why not 40 or 60? And again in II Kings 2:16 they are "fifty strong men." Somebody counted out fifty strong men who crossed the Jordan River and searched three days for Elijah who had been Laqach (Harpazoed) by the Lord. 

Again, this number 50 is tied to the second Harpazo of a living human being, Elijah. I now also believe fully that the Lord's Two Witnesses in the first half of Israel's 70th Week will be Henowk/Enoch and Elijah.

Global SITREP D10-21: The "Great Reset" and Bible Prophecy

Update 27 February 2021: About vaccines. The OSINT Daily Report of 27 January 2021 has republished a NCBI.NLM.NIH.GOV article from January 1999: "Public should be told that vaccines could have long-term adverse effects." 

19 February 2021: Eschatology Today has, until now, studiously avoided the so-called subject of the World Economic Forum founder Claus Schwab's current Davos theme of "The Great Reset." The reason for this avoidance is because the entire subject is a sort of globalist black hole, and like a cosmic black hole it has "gravitational" forces that'll pull one in like the fictional Alice  falling down a rabbit hole to an underworld. In our real-world millions upon millions have fallen in, many erroneously believing there's a messiah waiting there, many more dove in willingly due to the lure of immense potential profits. Our Lord Jesus Christ warned us about such false messiahs in His Olivet Discourse, this globalist construct is just the most recent big lie.

So, what is the great reset? As stated, it's the current theme of Schwab's Davos global elite members of the World Economic Forum (WEF); a non-governmental organization (NGO) of business leaders who are "among the world's top innovators, market shapers, disruptors that include niche market leaders and "new champions." Their stated agenda is to transform how sustainable business is to be conducted globally in a post-COVID-19 world.

Membership in the globalist World Economic Forum is exclusive by definition, being that it is by invitation only and based upon a specified selection criteria of truly global citizenry. That means the members, both individuals and corporate entities, are not nationalistic, they do not regard themselves as citizens of a particular country, but rather as citizens of the world-at-large, and are nomenclatured as "New Champions" by the organization's hierarchy.

Here's where this all gets real interesting and rather transparent as a completely unmasked conspiracy. The annual WEF meeting is held in The People's Republic of China. Smaller confabs are held in locations around the world, but the primary globalist pow-wow is always under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on its home turf. That's how they control the WEF. Schwab and his legions of individuals and corporate "New Champions" are in all reality minions doing the bidding of the CCP. 

And what is the CCP's bidding of its minions? As noted by Schwab it is a complete and fundamental transformation of the world as we've known it via digital, educational and other strategic global infrastructure advancements. This is the so-called 4th Industrial Revolution. By definition, the 1st Industrial Revolution was brought about by water and coal-fired steam power; the 2nd by electrical power; the 3rd by solid state electronics and Information Technology. The 4th Industrial Revolution is in progress as a fusion of the physical, digital and biological spheres, and that is the fusion of 5G (or 5th Generation communications technology) and artifical intelligence (AI). Think cells phones and tracking technology like integrated chipsets. For example, is your Apple of Android celphone on? Then "they" know exactly where you are and in which direction you are facing. 

High on the list of WEF agenda items is the  novel Corona Virus (nCoV), a/k/a SARS-CoV-2, which is the root source of the Corona Virus-2019 (COVID-19) in human beings. SARS-CoV-2 is a tool of the CCP. It is the CCP's man-made bioweapon the purpose of which has been to accellerate the WEF agenda over multiple avenues of attack. COVID-19 (biological), combined with digital technologies (vote tabulating machines and the internet) plus physical (paper ballots) was used by the CCP's leftist allies in America to steal the November 2020 election.

Here's more. A stated agenda purpose of the WEF is to rid the planet of the CCPs COVID-19 bioweapon through vaccinations of people. How effective will the several vaccines be in achieving this? Consider who are the vaccine manufacturers and are they listed prominently among the elite membership of the WEF?  Use the link embedded above to see the truth for yourself, but point-blank - they are AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer. No wonder the vaccines took less than a year to become available, they've been in a process of development for years (just as long as the "experts" have said it would take to develop them), and nevermind that these manufacturers admit openly that the vaccines will not prevent anyone from getting COVID-19. No vaccine in my arm, thank you very much.

Eschatology Today will now surely be labeled as a tin foil hatter conspiracy website for having stated these truths. We're conservative, so it goes with the territory the "woke" folks have unilaterally assigned to us. But guess what, we've not yet even touched on what Bible prophecy has to say about all this. Eschatology Today has covered the related prophetic issues in dozens of posts. Now its time to link that data with what we see many saying about this subject. 

There are a great number who say that the WEF is bringing about or is a catalyst for the so-called "New World Order," the global governance, or the beast empire of the Antichrist and False Prophet. Well, the Bible says, the Book of Daniel in particular, that its not an elite group of individuals and corporate entities who bring this about, but 10 nations, ten kings or ten horns (Daniel chapters 7 and 8) and whom an 11th horn arises. These are kingdoms, nations who come from the same lineage as was revealed by Daniel in his God-breathed interpretation of Nebuchaddnezzar's vision in Daniel 2. Daniel 2 vividly illustrates in prophetic text that the Ten Toes are directly descendent from the Two Legs of the Greek and Roman empires of antiquity.

This reminds me of a song, and it's not exactly about Nebuchadnezzar's dream interpretation by Daniel, but most everybody has heard The Delta Rhythm Boys 1950 song "Dry Bones" at one time of another. It's about Ezekiel 37:1-14, but  Eschatology Today will use that song as a simile here. From both knees to the ankles to the feet to the toes, all "dem bones" are connected.

Also, there is Revelation 13, and what my favorite NKJV Bible speaks of as "the Beast from the Earth." This is the so-called and singular individual known as the False Prophet. Jesus spoke of many false prophets, and false teachers, and He said because of their actions they would bring on themselves swift destruction. But this beast figuratively comes up out of the earth shortly after the rise of the "little horn" Antichrist. It is the actions of this beast that are of interest here. 

Many say the New World Order will be a cashless global society. Revelation 13 verses 16 and 17 say this second beast will be the origin of the mark of the first beast as "he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, and that no one may by or sell except on who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." The second beast from the earth does this, not the WEF or the Communist Chinese.

Additionally, while it may appear in the numerous WEF narratives that the Chinese-controlled organization gains control of the whole world, that is not the case according to the prophetic word of God. The Book of Daniel specifies the nation of Greece and of the Roman Empire as the origin of the Antichrist, not the "kings of the East." 

Moreover, and as discussed here in the past, Daniel 11:44 clearly illustrates that during the 70th Week of years, the Satan-indwelled Antichrist is troubled by news from the east and from the north as he is militarily subduing enemies throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and that this news prompts him with great fury to deploys his forces to destroy and annihilate many.

Eschatology Today believes that the WEF agenda known now as 'The Great Reset' is not such a great thing as revealed by the prophetic Word of God. A lot of hype in world media and the blogosphere, but much ado about what will amount to nothing much. It may also be that what the WEF intends to create will actually be what The Revelation of Jesus Christ in Chapter 17 refers to as the Great Harlot. It is here also that the same Ten Horns from Daniel are seen again. What takes place in verses 16 and 17 is very instructive.

Much has been written about this subject, but in prophecy-centric websites there wasn't much seen as is discussed above, and that was the impetus for this SITREP to be written. It is hoped that many will find it instructive. What is the will of fallen men compared to that of our Omnipotent God who is in complete control!

Global SITREP D9-21: Mecanigma

 15 February 2021: A mecanigma (which I think is a compound word for meaning a mechanical enigma) is a type of puzzle box. It's a miscellany of various moving parts, articulated gearing in a 4-dimensional box. Tying to figure it out is like trying to correctly envision Ezekiel's wheel. It's dizzying, perplexing and to my mind exactly how the Bible described the pre-Thlipsis world we live in today. A mecanigma is a technological device that embodies the text of Luke 21:25 where the Greek word aporia, translated as perplexity, appears for the first and only time in the entire Bible. That's a significant singularity.

It is understood that Luke 21:25 is about the coming of the Son of Man, our Lord Jesus Christ, at the conclusion of Israel's 70th week of years, but over-arching reference within this verse is actually a summary of various events that occur in space and on earth, distress among the nations (with aporia) and roaring global ocean environment. Everybody knows that the ocean environment dictates the weather over the earth's land masses. And we're in it now, prior to the 70th week of years, so its only going to get worse, much, much worse, as discussed here previously concerning the prophecy of Isaiah 13:13 (Global SITREP C6-18). 

There's a lot going on, as always, and we're still in a man-made global pandemic. So the question has come up about whether or not to take one of the various SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. Not here to tell anyone else what they should do, but this Christian will steadfastly refuse any vaccine forevermore. Here's why. 

Vaccines, as with many if not all processing of vaccines for human beings, use human cells from various part of the body. These cells are known as "immortalized cells" because they have been kept alive and have dividing for many decades, countless generations of cellular divisions, from living organ tissue taken from aborted children; children made in the image of God. 

Wait, there's more. Some of the children these tissues were taken from were aborted as far back as 60 plus years ago. Talk about the wrath of God as we relate it simply concerning the millions upon millions of abortions, but as you now can see the wrath to come must be beyond our ability to comprehend it. 

Praise God for our blessed hope of the Harpazo!

16 February 2021: Eschatology Today just became aware of something which has definitive prophetic fulfillment implications. It's called "Israel Victory" (IV for short). The objective of IV is to militarily defeat the Palestinians and all of Israel's remaining enemies and force them to accept the reality of the State of Israel. The success of IV as a new warfighting concept among politicians, the Knesset and especially the IDF thus far has been overtly manifested in IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi's recent turn in January 2021 towards absolute bluntness (ref. Global SITREP D8-21) when speaking about the wholesale reorientation of IDF's mission. The IDF's mission now is to militarily defeat Israel's enemies, to crush them, to achieve unconditional victory, and to do so alone if necessary. 

Those history buffs among us will recognize this objective as the American military objective against the Empire of Japan in World War II: unconditional surrender; total military victory. This is a complete paradigm shift in Israeli military thinking. From 1948 to 2020 the IDF's top military objective was simply to ensure the survival of the State of Israel. Detailed information on Israel Victory is available by searching for the December 2020 half-hour YouTube video entitled "Progress with Israel Victory with Nave Dromi." 

The pre-70th Week prophetic implications of Israel Victory are absolutely crystal clear in the text of Ezekiel 28:24-26 as well as Ezekiel 38:11, both of which describe Israel as it will be just prior to the Gog of Magog invasion of Ezekiel 38/39. Becoming fully aware of Israel Victory has had the effect of being like a thunderbolt out of a clear blue sky, and it serves a validation of the dispensational prophetic interpretations put forward on Eschatology Today since its origination in 2009. A watershed moment by definition.
