Urban Warfare in Israel

31 March 2022: The indications and warnings about a coming war within Israel are everywhere. We've been expecting this on Eschatology Today, yet the amount of data that has flowed in in the past two days cannot be embargoed any longer, quite simply because the war has already begun. And it's no coincidence that this expected war will occur concurrently with Russia's war in Ukraine.

Once again, despite the existing ban on YouTube, I must post an embedded link to an Amir Tsarfati video that was streamed live from London, UK yesterday. Watch the 6 minute 36 second video and the SITREP will continue below.

One day prior to the above video (29 March) this linked article appeared on the Israel National News website: "Israel is Facing an Armed Revolt from the Arab Sector." 

The article cites IDF BG (Res.) Effi Eitam who spoke to Galei Tzahal that morning. The interview included this quote from BG Eitan: "We need to tell ourselves the truth: we are in the midst of an Arab revolt, an Islamic-nationalist revolt against the idea of Israel as the state of the Jewish people. They [Israeli-Arabs] hold [Israeli] citizenship and have equal rights in everything, but they are separatists.

This is like a page right out of Vladimir Putin's playbook regarding the separatists of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in Ukraine. In such a war the damage done in Israel will be massive, not just by 200,000 armed Arabs, but by the others who will join in, such a Iran, Islamic State, HAMAS, Syria, Iraqi Shi'a militias in Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon. And let us not forget the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan who will not be loathe to join in.

We're talking about a war Israel has not had to fight ever before in their 74-year long history, a war that will be like 1948, 1967, 1973 and 2006 plus all of the battles with Gaza rolled up into one massive war. Psalm 83, Isaiah 11, Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49 all at the same time or in very rapid succession.

Russia Targets Civilians and Civil Infrastructure

UPDATE 25 March 2022: Ukrainian forces continue their offensive and advance against Russian forces in several areas on both the east and west banks of the Dnieper River in the Kyiv Oblast. Strong points of massed Russian armor, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles have been over run in the past 24 hours. Mopping up, security and the hunt for fleeing Russian troops is ongoing today. 

At daybreak yesterday, in the port of Berdyansk, a large Russian LST ship (the Alligator-class Saratov) was attacked and sunk by Ukrainian forces with an OTR-21 Trochka ballistic missile. Second and third order detonations ripped through the vessel as tons of ordnance detonated. Two other Russian Navy Ropucha-II class LSTs (the Kunikov and Novocherkassk) narrowly escaped destruction by fleeing the port. This attack was made possible through high-technology recently delivered to Ukraine from the West. This is the most significant loss yet for Russia in the war and will further complicate its already significant logistics problems in Ukraine.

Also, the US and EU apparently have reached a deal for the US to supply the EU with American liquid natural gas (LNG) to further divest the EU from dependence on Russian LNG.

Also, it is with due emphasis that the statement made yesterday by Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, be repeated yet again. "It is important for Ukraine that Israel become one of the guarantors of an international treaty on security guarantees, which would provide clear security guarantees for Ukraine after the end of the war with Russia." 

23 March 2022: Recent western MSM reporting has it that the Russian Federation would only use nuclear weapons if it were faced with an existential threat, in accordance with the Russian Federation's concept of what an existential threat would actually be. Well, that intended comforting news is only a half truth, a deliberate omission of the most salient fact. The fact is that Vladimir Putin's primary spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, and the deputy secretary of Russia's Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, are on record saying that the United States and its NATO allies intent is to humiliate, divide and destroy the Russian Federation. Sounds like an existential threat, albeit a paranoid mindset, but it is what it is. 

By what measure could the NATO alliance assure the Russian Federation that it has no intention to humiliate, divide and ultimately destroy it? That answer gets back to the November 2021 to January 2022 pre-invasion demands Russia made, knowing full well that NATO would never agree to them. Those demands were for the withdrawal of all NATO forces out of eastern Europe and the ejection of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria (i.e. the former Warsaw Pact nations) from the North Atlantic Alliance. 

Here's a little known fact also conveniently omitted from MSM reporting. There were no NATO troops in these same countries prior to the Russian invasion, occupation and annexation of Crimea - exactly eight years prior (23-24 February 2014) to Russia's invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. One month later Russian mercenary troops (Wagner Group), also known as the "little green men" began the Donbas War in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts of southeastern Ukraine. Make no mistake, this is a war of Russian aggression which has very similar overtones to what Hitler's Nazi Germany did in central Europe prior to World War Two.

To be crystal clear, the regime holding power in the Kremlin has made it known that it is fighting an existential war against NATO, a war which makes the use of nuclear weapons permissible by its own paranoid concept of an existential threat to itself. Hoping that something does not happen is not a strategy, it is a grand impracticality; a virtual self-fulfilling prophecy. So the world waits to see what NATO's recognition and response to this overt nuclear threat will be.

22 March 2022: The Russian Federation dictatorship of Vladimir Putin is now telling its citizens that the "special military operation" launched in Ukraine one month ago will continue for an undetermined length of time. Things are not going according to the original war plan - a misguided and abject failure - and as a result Russian generals are being sacked left and right. Better to be sacked than sent to the front lines where expert Ukrainian snipers have been picking off Russian generals at a rate of one or two per week. Putin himself is reportedly in at least a partial seclusion due to fears of a coup d'etat or assassination.

The Russian government is also calling up for service 16 and 17-year old youths who will begin their preparations for wartime military service. This action, in addition to the Russian military's focus on civilian targets instead of warfighting against peer Ukrainian military forces delineates the tactical shift from initial invasion to the attempt to begin siege and hold territory operations in eastern Ukraine in order to force a surrender. The image at the top of a destroyed Kyiv shopping mall is emblematic of the morphing Russian strategy. Ukraine will never surrender to Russia, and therefore Russia now has its very own "forever war."

It may be, as some are suggesting, Russia will of necessity resort to weapons of mass destruction in the coming days.

Global SITREP B4:22: A Covenant Among Many

15 March 2022: The unprovoked Russian war against Ukraine appears to be entering a terminal phase, one that will include a formal agreement or contract between several parties. In this case the agreement might be more akin to the definition that is applied to a covenant (treaty) as described by Joshua 9:6.

In Eschatology Today's traditional forward leaning posture, it appears at this point to be a near certainty that the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, to include the withdrawal of Russian forces from most if not all of the country, will essentially be a treaty that ensures security requirements for the whole of Europe and not just Ukrainian or Russian requirements for security guarantees. It has only been days since the last implicit Russian threat of nuclear strikes, so an iron-clad treaty in this regard will be essential.  

This is what all of Europe, that is, the EU backed by the economic and military power of NATO will negotiate and confirm at a conference in the not too distant future. Ukraine will have won its defensive war and Russia, having virtually exhausted its ability to sustain its offensive military operations will be forced to withdraw to ensure its economic survival and independence from Red Chinese domination.

Warfare is likely to continue for perhaps the next four to six weeks, and barring an unforeseen black swan event, Russia's invasion will simply and literally run out of gas, and food, and its armies will become incapable of further action. The process being envisioned here could take several months, and European reconstruction of an independent and occupation-free Ukraine will take far longer.

Perhaps, just perhaps, this nascent treaty of security among multiple parties in Europe might be extended and confirmed for a period of seven years in the not too distant future to include the nations of a war-ravaged Middle East, as foretold by the angel Gabriel in Daniel 9:27. 

 

Global SITREP B3-22: Please Stand By... Part II

The "Ghost of Kyiv"

UPDATE 12 March 2022: The Ukrainian Air Force pilot dubbed The Ghost of Kyiv had his image released by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense yesterday. This pilot's name is being withheld for the time being, but that fact of the matter is that all of Ukraine's pilots are the Ghost of Kyiv. They have been very busy flying missions, landing, rearming, re-fueling and going on second and third missions every day. There are apparently about 50 Ghosts performing these strike missions every day. When additional MiG-29s arrive from NATO countries that donate them to the UAF there will be that many more Ghosts of Kyiv in the skies over Ukraine.

Kyiv and Ukraine as a whole are now within a 24-48 hour period which will go a long way in determining the near-term course of the war. The expectation is for the TOS-1A (image below) and other tactical artillery and rockets to initiate a first attempt to level the city center of Kyiv, while the Russian Air Force and rocket forces strike ever deeper into western Ukraine. There is also the spectre of NBC warfare emerging at some point soon, and it may be dependent on how well Ukraine's ground and air forces continue to perform during this period, and how quickly the promised defensive weapons from NATO arrive in country and get deployed to the front in the east. There are also false flag operations going on that are intended to widen the war. Almost anything is possible this weekend.

Russian TOS-1A Thermobaric MLRS in Brovary, Ukraine

11 March 2022: In the now viral video taken by a Ukrainian Raybaktar TB-2 drone that was loitering over a Russian armored column in the Kyiv suburb of Brovary, the presence of a Russian Army TOS-1A Thermobaric MLRS within that column is clearly evident. It is seen within the red circle in the image above. 

Ukrainian militia, believed to have been the Azov Battalion, launched a combat effective ambush of this column, forcing its retreat back down the highway in had used in enterer Brovary. Accurate anti-tank missle fire appears to have deliberately not targeted the TOS-1A vehicle as setting of its highly lethal ordnance would have certainly oblitered the immediate urban area and all human beings seen in the image. The identified geolocation of the above image in Brovary was within 1 mile of Kyiv city limits and 4 miles from downtown Kyiv when the forced retreat by Ukrainian ambush occurred.

The designed combat role for the TOS-1A weapon system is to provide fire support against lightly armored enemy vehicles, munition depots and exposed enemy ground troops. There is zero valid military reason to see the TOS-1A in this civilian-populated setting unless its amended combat role in the anticipated assault on Kyiv is to eradicate entire sections of the city and whats left of its human underground habitation, including the sum of Ukrainian defense forces in the city. 

TOS-1A Thermobaric MLRS Launching

There are confirmed reports containing both ground and satellite imagery of TOS-1A MLRS appraoching Kyiv along every axis of approach from the west, northeast and south. Kyiv, it would appear, is to be literally leveled and depopulated, piece by piece, according to an assessment of the intel contained in the reports.  The use of the TOS-1A against Kyiv is assessed to be when a number of the systems encircle the city at a distance of approximately 3 miles. This course of action is reinforced by new reports of Russian armored columns widely dispersing into smaller towns and wooded areas outside of Kyiv.

Global SITREP B2-22: Bible Prophecy In The News

10 March 2022: The now 14-day old invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation and Belarus, the Union State of Russia and Belarus has had an effect not seen since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Suddenly the prophetic Scripture of Ezekiel 38/39 is a hot news item, with reporting ranging from outright scoffing and ridicule to the prophetic interpretation of this event you've been reading on Eschatology Today for a solid three months, and before then going back to the first act of Russia's invasion of Ukraine (Global SITREP B13-14: Ukraine (Russia Invades) of March 1, 2014). I'd suggest a re-reading of that SITREP to recall what virtually everyone has forgotten, particularly the part dealing with, and frequently mentioned here, the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. 

In considering the Budapest memorandum there is an interesting fact to mention once again. The US, UK and Russia were nuclear armed nations back then, so what has changed? Everyone, except perhaps Putin, seems supremely paranoid of what invoking the clauses of the memorandum could lead to if it were upheld to the letter. Seriously, there is a left-of-center government in the USA in 2022 as there was in 1994 and again in 2014. So what has changed? Perhaps the Holy Restrainer is doing what He does best, applying restraint in an ever collapsing world. But I digress.

Back to Bible prophecy in the MSM. On the Beliver side of this issue we have seen in the past 10 days Pat Robertson (700 Club) come out of retirement to offer his take on what this war portends; that God is compelling Putin to invade Ukraine, but that Putin's goal is ultimately to invade Israel, and Pastor Greg Laurie with his excellent and now viral video response to the Russian invasion is embedded in the link for your viewing. We the bride of Christ understand these accurate presentations of prophetic Scripture. There are legions of such comentaries as these available on the internet.

In an Eschatology Today conducted Google search with the criteria "Ukraine Bible Prophecy" there were more than 1.2 million results presented. Those results vary as much in content as the number 1.2 million imples. Everything from the Chicago Sun-Times article about Ukraine's former first lady Katernyna Yushchenko offering about an 11th century mosaic (Oranta Mosaic in the Kyiv Cathedral) of the Virgin Mary offering protection and the survival of Ukraine if Russian troops do not destroy it. The mosaic is ostensibly under UNESCO protection, so that shoud keep Russian ordnance at bay. And then there are the scoffers. 

One of the worst scoffers is found on the website of very poorly named The Christian Post. It assures its readers through a tweeted quote from Old Testament and Semitic scholar Michael S. Heiser, that "The idea that Ezekiel 38 and 39 is about Russia or a Russian invasion has literally no merit in terms of exegesis." That's the, and I use the term loosely, educated view of an "Old Testament scholar." Yet The Christian Post gives Heiser the "without a doubt" nod of being absolutely correct as compared to what we all believe Ezekiel 38/39 foretells. When it comes to scoffers, the Word of God is absolutely correct. The scoffers offer nothing more than world-class pablum. Let the internet surfer beware.

Eschatology Today believes that while Russia's invasion of Ukraine will be followed soon enough by God placing spiritual hooks in Gog of Magog's jaws to draw him and his military confederation to destruction on the mountains of Israel, there are other prophecies that concern Israel as we know the country today which must take place prior to the application of those hooks. 

For example, in Ezekiel 38:11-16 Gog of Magog and his entire military force, down to the smallest shard of human bone, are to be buried in the Valley of Hamon Gog which lies east of the Dead Sea in what today is the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This invokes Psalm 83, Isaiah 11:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26 as requiring literal fulfillments first. If Christians and Christian sites want to tak about the fulfillment of prophecy, they need to speak to it indepth because fulfillment of the Lord's prophetic word is exact and inerrant to the letter of each written word.

Global SITREP B1-22: Please Stand By...

07 March 2022: Please stand by... Who is more evil, Vladimir Putin or the Globalist elites? That's the question that will come to mind when nuclear weapons are used in this New World War. People have short memories; they tend to react based upon current conditions or how they have been programmed to react by the MSM who slavishly serve as the Globalists propaganda machine. And the propaganda, or narrative as it may also be referred to, has been and continues to be present in every newscast, every evening. This includes FoxNews, or has it been forgotten how FoxNews (excepting only a very few FoxNews on-air personalities) betrayed MAGA patriots on the night of 3 November 2020 and have perpetuated those lies ever since?

Here comes a truth bomb. For a long time the elites, the D.C. Establishment, the so-called Uni-Party of RINOs and Democrats have been pushing, plotting and planning to create the circumstances that would lead to a New World War, a war pitting the United States and NATO against the Russian Federation; a war which D.C. think tanks which have war-games the exact scenarion in action today in Ukraine would ultimately claim 1 billion human lives (A long-standing goal of the elites, by the way). Go back and look at archived news videos from the Obama Administration, many of the same folks who were prominant back then are neck deep in the current Biden Administration. Obama, the Biden crime family, Victoria Nuland, the Clintons, John Kerry, they're all there in 2012-2014 for the Democrats. And on the same page with them were the RINOs like the late John McCain and Lindsey Graham, egging-on the worst and most notorious elements of Ukrainian society (Ultra-Nationalist NeoNazis) to go to war against Russia. And you know what, 12 days ago their planning and cajoling over the past decade came to fruition - as they knew all along it would. 

This is why knowing the recent history of Ukraine, especially it's history of the 20th century, is critical to understanding how Russian nationalists were so easy to lead into this war. The Globalists knew exactly what buttons to push and they pushed them again and again for a decade. Now we're got Vladimir Putin ready to push a few buttons of his own. So, when your television desplays the above screen one days soon, at least you'll know part of the reason why. Now you might ask, for what purpose is all of this? Well, if the plan is as complete as it appears to be, and Bible prophecy alludes to this very strongly, there's a guy about to come riding in on a white horse, a false messiah. a false peace-maker, right on cue. And several other horses are coming with him in a posse. 

Once again, if Jesus is not your personal savior, now would be a very good time for you to trust Him and everything He has to say in the Living Word of God. With Him there is no "please stand by." Just the opposite, your eternal salvation is instantaneous just as your Harpazo into Heaven with the rest of the bride of Christ will be instantaneous.
