Global SITREP A9-26: Ecclesiastes 1:9

 

23 August 2026: The title of this SITREP speaks volumes for Israel and for the world at large. Apply it to the image above; what do you see in your mind's eye? Is the LORD's house standing where the golden dome is off in the distance? What was will be!

Israel is as divided as ever. But what has the LORD spoken through his prophets? Has He said the House of Israel will be united as one? It will be done! 

One month from now Sukkot 2026 will take place, another integral part of the image above. There is nothing new under the sun! Eschatology Today again suggests your reading in the Spirit of John 7.

IDF Troops in Gaza

30 August 2026: The IDF has determined that HAMAS has no intention to fulfill its commitment to disarm and relinquish control of Gaza. HAMAS continues arms smuggling and weapons manufacture in Gaza City. 

Accordingly, the IDF Southern Command has drawn up a comprehensive, multi-stage operational plan for the conquest of Gaza City which includes an evacuation of the civilian population to humanitarian safe zones. At this point execution of the plan is expected prior to the third annual observation of the October 7 massacre.

Locating Larak Island

31 August 2026: This map locates Larak Island where USCENTCOM struck yesterday after the IRGC was observed preparing to launch rockets fitted with sea mines. The launchers were destroyed.

The IRGC claimed retaliation strikes were launched at US bases in Jordan and the UAE. The UAE denies any impacts, saying air defenses intercepted incoming projectiles over Gulf waters. Jordan also shot down eight incoming missiles. The IRGC soundly loses the exchange of fires.

UPDATE 2 September 2026: Yesterday saw resumed military strikes against the Twelver regime of Iran. Official accounts cite approximately 100 targets in Iran being attacked, including two tankers belonging to the regime, air defense sites, radar installations, sea mine facilities, communication sites, anti-ship missile sites and drone launch sites. One US official described these strikes as "mowing the lawn."

An expected Twelver retaliation completely failed with half of the ballistic missiles launched being destroyed in the air, others impacting open ground and causing no damage or casualties in Jordan. Two dozen drones were launched against Bahrain, ballistic missiles and drones were launched into Kuwait and Iraq. The majority of these were also destroyed in the air or caused no significant damage on the ground.

Also, Russian President Putin declared Russia's continued support yesterday to the Iranian Twelver regime. This Russian declaration is consistent, once again, with the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:7. In a development cited as one of the most significant covert transfers of strategic military technology, the Financial Times reports that Russia has also been assisting the IRGC for several years in the development of supersonic, ram-jet powered cruise missiles designed to attack US aircraft carriers, other large vessels and strategic land-based targets.

Israel is anticipating an Iranian attack to coincide with the advent of Rosh Hashanah (next week) September 11-13, 2026.

USS Abraham Lincoln pulling into Thailand port-of-call and looking to be in need of a thorough cleansing of nearly 300 days of built up rust and algae. 5,000 heros aboard!

Global SITREP A8-26: War

 

15 July 2026: The image above was collected as US CENTCOM "Corsair" USV's completed their strike mission on Bandar Abbas piers, one of which had an Iranian Ghadir-class submarine upon it. These naval and air strikes lasted for a total of seven continuous hours and mark the initiation of renewed full-scale warfare against the Twelver regime. The strikes have now entered a second wave and can be categorized as shaping the battlefield for far more devastating strikes to come.

17 July 2026: Trump's threat to begin striking Iranian infrastructure was not idle hot air. Three important bridges near Bandar Abbas have been disassembled by US air strikes overnight. Telecommunications towers were also taken down along with military C2 sites. A new phase of the war has clearly begun. Watching to see if the IRGC retaliation of destroying all regional infrastructure is not just typical Iranian boasting.

Scientists are concerned that the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults are at the highest tectonic stress levels in the last 1,000 years. Be prepared.

18 July 2026: For anyone to say that this is not a regional war is either deceptive, ignorant or just a deliberate bald-faced lie. 

The Iranian Twelver regime has launched missile and drone attacks on Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The 12ers also attacked merchant vessels, crude oil and chemical tankers flying the national flags of nations from around the globe. For some time now Israel has not been targeted, most likely because the 12ers want no part of joint US-Israel attacks in Iran.

On the CINC's orders, U.S. CENTCOM has thus far  launched a total of seven (7) sequential, hours-long waves of strikes across Iran during the night. Daylight strikes are rare. The objective is to have the 12ers wake up each morning following the strikes to assess the destruction being leveled on their military and national infrastructure. This a search for the Shi'a Twelvers breaking point and unconditional surrender.

20 July 2026: Nine consecutive days of U.S. precision strikes across Twelver-ruled Iran of increasing frequency and intensity with no sign of let up.

A US soldier was killed in a precision IRGC strike in Iraq. Along with the two, and more likely three, US troops killed in Jordan last week there is strong concern that precise targeting data is being provided by pro-Shi'a islamists in both Jordan and Iraq. Expansion of the war.

In fact, a group called the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) and a currently unknown group in Jordan are believed to be providing GPS targeting data to IRGC-QF operatives. The IRI claim to have entered the war to support to the Iranian Twelvers against American forces.

24 July 2026: The names of the places in Iran (that most have never heard of) being visited for the past thirteen consecutive nights are, for the record: Khondab, Khorramabad, Taft, Shirkuh, Anarak, Borujerd and Konarak. These nightly strikes will continue indefinitely pending capitulation by the Twelver regime. The desired effect is being realized through analysis of the mullah's rhetoric as becoming more frantic and out of touch with each sortie flown by strike aircraft like the B-1 Lancer imaged above.

This past Tuesday the first Lancer strike missions went wheels up from RAF Fairford. The IRGC have declared the air base to be a legitimate target. 

Should the IRGC attempt to strike RAF Fairford from within the UK or with missiles like the two fired at Diego Garcia, would the UK invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter? That remains to be seen, but it does raise a new spectre of a much expanded war.

27 July 2026: The war with Iran continues its expansion. It has long been known that Iran has provided Russia with thousands of suicide drones. These drones have killed large numbers of the Ukrainian people and damaged Ukrainian infrastructure. Russia, in turn, aids Iran with technologically enhanced war materiel and satellite reconnaissance of American facilities throughout the Gulf region. 

Ukraine very recently struck back at the Russo-Iranian war trade via merchant and military vessels transiting the Caspian Sea with a powerful strike that exploded a merchant vessels, killing and injuring crewmen. Iran is now claiming it will strike Ukraine directly. It's not widely known, but a fact nevertheless, that Ukrainian air defense servicemen are deployed to GCC countries to assist in their defense against Iranian drone and missile attacks. The war against Iran now directly involves countries in Europe (Russia, Ukraine) which have long been a very destructive war with each other.

30 July 2026: This is a non-update update. That is, we already know what is to take place, what is to happen going forward. We understand His prophetic word.

And we cannot blame anyone or point fingers or cast aspersions due to daily events or the lack of them. We know that Restraint has been applied since Pentecost and that Restraint continues to this very hour by the Holy Spirit working through His indwelling of us, the Bride of Christ. The ongoing Restraint will suddenly, instantaneously end when we are caught up in the Harpazo (Laqach, Rapture) to be with the LORD forever. 

How's that for some prophetic revealing?!

UPDATE 14 August 2026: 

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir presents US CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper with a gift during a meeting with senior IDF commanders on August 10, 2026.

This is very probably the final update for SITREP A8-26. The above image is representative of very near future events as the US and Israel have discussed what happens next for the Iranian Twelver regime. A renewed series of joint strikes are quite possible according to normally reliable reports. 

ComCENTCOM (Adm. Brad Cooper) is highly unlikely to have spoken to Ayal Zamir and senior IDF commanders as reported in Israeli media without prior explicit approval by POTUS Donald Trump, SECWAR Hegseth and ChJCS Caine. 

Eschatology Today projects this potential action to commence with the soon arrival of the USS George Washington CSG in the USCENTCOM AOR.

Global SITREP A7-26: Lebanon Flashpoint

 

22 June 2026: The map above is self explanatory in that terrorist Hezbollah, a highly paid military proxy of Twelver-ruled Iran, is the flashpoint capable of blowing up the tenuous ceasefire between the U.S. and the Twelver regime in Tehran. The Twelvers claim Lebanon is integral to the MOU, to which Israel defiantly responds "NO, WE ARE NOT! Israel retains its freedom of operations against Hezbollah, period."

Just yesterday an American threat of renewed conflict caused the Twelvers to shut down Hormuz maritime traffic, a move that Trump said would result in a complete, long-term American military takeover of the Strait and a resumed bombing blitz of Iran so that Iranian negotiators in Switzerland "would not have a "☆%@&ing" country to return to. It'll be interesting to see how long the current MOU Hudna with the Shi'a regime lasts before imploding. And then, how long the IRGC lasts in ground combat IF Trump does what he would have to do in taking the entire Strait of Hormuz region.

Will the US seize the Strait?

24 June 2026: The days of Israel being a subservient wartime ally of the US are over. From this point forward there will be no American (read: Trump) dictation of what Israel must do. Any request or even a demand that the IDF withdraw from Lebanese or Syrian territory will be rejected outright if it is contrary to Israel's security requirements. This new paradigm has been a long time coming, but it's here now and will stay until the advent of the 70th Week of Years.

28 June 2026: Eschatology Today's long-running assessment that Twelver Iran prefers war over peace with the US and Israel is now an established fact based upon their actions. The assessment is based upon the now decade old interpretation of Jeremiah 49:34-39 in concert with Ezekial 38 which speaks to a militarily reduced Iran on a par with Kuwsh and Puwt.

President Trump's Truth Social post of yesterday (Saturday, 27 June)  warning of the destruction of the Islamic Republic of Iran if they were to persist in their attacks clearly fell upon deaf ears. The Twelver's IRGC launched massive attacks this morning specifically against US bases and support facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain. 

Scrap the MOU as meaningless, the war is back on and at full scale. American strikes in Iran are taking out much of what the IRGC had urgently reconstituted in the last several weeks. The US will press on the attack to "complete the mission." 

We remain mindful that the Twelvers are on record saying that renewed war would result in the IRGC-Quds Force conducting attacks around the globe. Heads on a swivel.

UPDATE 1 July 2026: The "negotiations" over the MOU are no different than previous "negotiations" with the Iranian Shi'a Twelvers - much ado about nothing. They drag on endlessly because they're merely a Twelver ploy, a tactic to buy time. The next IRGC suicide drone attack on a commercial vessel is a matter of time as is the subsequent US retaliation.

Twelver diplomats are now saying they're ready for war but will speak to (Islamic) mediators indefinitely. Face-to-Face talks with Witkoff and Kushner are out of the question for the Twelvers; remember these two American's represent the "Great Satan" as does Trump and all US citizens, so there's never going to be an honored "deal with the devil." Best assessment is that the full-scale war will resume sometime between now and mid-August.

FINAL UPDATE 15 July 2026: This is the final update for SITREP A7-26. Eschatology Today will return with SITREP A8-26 within a day or so as it appears very likely the US will commit to a far more comprehensive offensive against the Twelver regime and its IRGC forces.

Two crude oil tankers belonging to the UAE were attacked yesterday, as well as US facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain. USCENTCOM pressed forward with the imposed blockade of Iran's Arabian Gulf ports. 

A couple dozen or so 5th Fleet surface combatant ships, and hundreds of strike aircraft will prosecute what is believed to be the final 60-day offensive of the war that was the subject of a Trump situation room briefing yesterday. The offensive will cover the whole of Iranian territory, becoming more lethal and destructive in a calculated progression day by day. 

Prophetically speaking, the fulfillment of the LORD'S many "I will's" recorded in Jeremiah 49:34-39 are a Divine progression now in progress.

Global SITREP A5-26: Turning Point

 

Beaufort Castle

1 June 2026: IDF ground forces took the highly strategic heights at Beaufort Castle in Lebanon this week. From Beaufort Castle one can look to the south to view northern Israel, or look to the north to view Beirut and beyond. To the east one can see strategic Mount Hermon, also under the control of the IDF. 

The mastery of these heights marks a critical point in the war, a point not lost on the Twelver regime in Tehran or their Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon. It is the catalyst for their desperation and large-scale drone attacks since last week as well as the Twelver declaration that they will not hesitate to defend their beseiged allies. Beirut now lies defenseless before the IDF; a downhill sprint from Beaufort Castle is next.

Concurrent with the IDF capture of Beaufort it was announced that the Twelvers have regained access to the collapsed tunnel entrances which contain hundreds of long-range missiles. The excavation dust had not settled when the Twelvers made the threat to attack Israel anew with this arsenal in short order.

Also concurrent with these developments came renewed US airstrikes last night on IRGC radar, command and control (C2) sites and relay stations. Resumption of warfighting demands an electronic blinding of the IRGC forces.

5 June 2026: As of today the assessment of the conflict with the Iranian Twelvers is encapsulated in the title of this SITREP. 

The mostly likely scenario now is a return to full-scale warfare. "Negotiations" with the Twelvers have reached a dead end; only a full Trump surrender would change this fact as the Twelvers have no such word in their vocabulary. Since Trump could never surrender the return to combat ops to "finish the job" in the shortest time possible is the only option left to pursue. It will be brief and exceptionally violent. When is the only unknown remaining in this assessment.

In Trump-speak, this assessment was given as "one way or the other, this war is finished." Translation: The 12ers either submit to my terms of surrender or else my military forces will finish it. The 12ers were allotted 60 days to submit. Only a handful of those days remain.

6 June 2026: The past 36 to 48 hours has seen serious exchanges of fire between the U.S. military and the IRGC. Both Qeshm and Kharg Islands to the west of Hormuz have received major airstrikes on military targets. Strikes on the mainland east of Hormuz targeted the Bandar Abbas area. 

The Twelvers then launched ballistic missiles at U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, prompting Trump to announce the killing of U.S. troops as a red line the crossing of which would result in a return to full-scale war. Iran also sent waves of suicide drones to attack our ships. All IRGC drones were promptly shot out of the sky.

ISRAEL AND IRAN RESUME WAR -TRUMP PUT IN HIS PLACE!

8 June 2026: Yesterday Trump went overboard telling PM Netanyahu not to strike back at Twelver Iran for missile attacks aimed at Israel's cities. Without first calling Netanyahu for a 1-on-1 private conversation Trump spoke to international media saying, "Netanyahu doesn't call the shots, I call the shots. I call all the shots." 

In a stunning and direct rebuke to Trump Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu immediately ordered IDF CoS LtGen Eyal Zamir to launch punishing and powerful strikes against the Iranian regime. IRGC missile launch sites and petrochemical sites took the initial Israeli retaliation strikes which were direct hits. 

Finally, this evening Trump declared that there he will declare "total victory" over Twelver Iran within the next two weeks. However, VP Vance then projected to the media that Israel would probably not like it. This will be a deal that is one-hundred percent in line with American national interests which are not necessarily in Israel's national interests.

Therefore, Eschatology Today will project to all that will hear - Trump, Vance and the lot of Dominionists driving this agenda are most assuredly oblivious and contrary to the interests and supreme will of God Almighty regarding Israel. Only He calls the shots!

SITREP A5-26 will continue for at least the next two weeks, or 22 June by the Trump calendar.

UPDATE 9 June 2026: Now that it has become public knowledge there's a big problem at the Bushehr NPP in Iran. This location is in ancient Elam.

"The 210 tons of spent fuel in the storage pool at Bushehr contain more than 2,000 kilograms of plutonium, enough to make more than 200 nuclear weapons."

This issue has been public since at least April of this year, but not widely reported, possibly even ignored. Leave it to Israel's media to rectify that. 

Simply google: "Bushehr Plutonium" to see the articles published as recent as this morning. 

We've discussed the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 at length so no need to rehash it again. My question is if the Bushehr plutonium is integral to the Trump plan because no one in his administration or in the US Congress has so much as mentioned this issue.

Today the IRGC managed to down a US Apache helicopter in a patrol of the Strait of Hormuz. The apache crew was rescued, no loss of life. Regardless, this is on Trump because he has ignored his intelligence and combatant commanders in ignoring the threats the IRGC presents in this war zone.

Global SITREP A4-26: OPERATION HAMMER TIME?

13 May 2026: The name of the renewed war against the Twelver regime in Iran speaks volumes as to what can and cannot be expected in the coming 60 days.

16 May 2026: The U.S. military has far more kinetic firepower within the CENTCOM AOR now than at any time since 28 February, not to omit the strategic firepower at the ready stateside or in Europe. The "ceasefire" has allowed for fresh troop rotations, replenishment and the introduction of new weaponry, such as the aforementioned LRHW Dark Eagle.

The Shi'a Twelver leadership and IRGC commanders had better be ensconced in their deepest, most reinforced bunkers - or else. President Trump, both while one AF1 on the flight home from Asia and immediately when on American terra firma, has made it crystal clear in multiple interviews to the non-fake news media that the Yanks are not going home. It's time ti finish this Iran business. Iran will now be reduced to the pathetic state where it's militarily equivilent to Kuwsh and Phut (Ezekiel 38). 

By the way brothers and sisters, there is a very powerful reason why Magog has surrounded and buttressed itself with troops from its allies across the globe. That reason is it's armed forces have become completely spent from its foolish (by Divine Design?) invasion of Ukraine over the past four years. Hooks at the ready!

18 May 2026: The US and Israel are within hours of initializing a third and final attack on the Twelver regime ruling Iran. As noted for some time now this final attack will be comprehensive and on a scale far beyond anything previous. Jeremiah 49:34-39 will come to fulfillment in the coming days; the Persia of Ezekiel 38/39 is the secondary result.

24 May 2026: The final attack, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, 19 May, was postponed at the last minute because President Trump deferred to the wants of Islamic Arab leaders of the Arabian peninsula. Those leaders said critical "peace" negotiations were in progress and should not be disrupted by a new wave of US-Israeli strikes on Iran. This appears to be where the disinformation campaign began. Discernment of facts from fiction is now taking place.

25 May 2026: Many have focused their attention on the relevance of Ezekiel 38:13 to recent events in the Middle East. The Abraham Accords between Israel and several Sunni Arab states of the Arabian Gulf appears to have a direct connection to this prophetic foretelling.

What we now know about the Trump conference call that included virtually all of the penninsula states is that, aside of the UAE, they were met with an expectation from Trump that is an addendum to the attempt at peace negotiations with the Iranian Twelver regime. 

With a diplomatic negotiated end to the war being the highly preferred outcome (the carrot), and a resumption of war (the stick) being less desirable for obvious reasons, the Sunni Arab states not currently part of the Abraham Accords are expected to join, exchange ambassadors, open embassies and normalize relations with Israel upon the cessation of hostilities with the Twelver regime in Iran.

Two birds with one stone, so to speak. Bringing an end to the 47 year long Iran war via carrot or stick, and an end to the Arab-Israel confrontation of the past 78 years including a normalization of relations between the Saudis and Israelis. This is the net objective underpinning the Trump agenda to end war with the clerics in Tehran. It has high potential as a fulfillment of Ezekiel 38:13.

FINAL UPDATE 1 June 2026: This SITREP is done. Time to move on as renewed warfighting for Israel against the Iranian Twelver regime appears likely this morning.

Global SITREP A3-26: Operation Epic Fury Endgame PART III

April 22, 2026: We now know that President Trump's unilateral extension of the ceasefire with the Iranian Twelver regime is due to the fact that the regime is in a fractured and highly unstable political state. The IRGC appears to be acting since yesterday as the de facto power of the government in ordering attacks by IRCG fast attack craft on M/Vs in the Strait of Hormuz and east of it from the Iranian Port of Chabahar into the Gulf of Oman. The lack of a U.S. response thus far to the serious attacks gives weight to what Pentagon sources say will come next.

Multiple sources are reporting that officials in the Pentagon are strongly indicating that a resumption of the war is imminent. However, the resumption of combat operations will far surpass the power and violence rained down upon Iran since the initiation of hostilities on February 28. Three U.S. Navy supercarrier CSGs are now in the CENTCOM AOR (Lincoln, Ford and G.H.W. Bush) plus several thousand U.S. Marines, Airborne and Special Operations forces plus the inherent and significant increase of combat airpower. Israeli forces are also primed to resume their Operation Roaring Lion combat operations

The meaning here is that Trump's indefinite ceasefire probably does not indicate a long-term cessation but a finite extension of potentially very short duration in order to give the Twelver political echelon a chance to impose control over the IRGC.

24 April 2026: The U.S.-Iranian Twelver "negotiations" in Pakistan have taken a big hit because hardliners in the Ayatollah's inner circle and the IRGC have forced (former) lead negotiator Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf to resign. Ghalibaf was also severely reprimanded by the inner circle over inclusion of the nuclear issue in negotiations with the US. His participation is likely the reason any progress was made in previous rounds. Regime hardliners and the Ayatollah's inner circle have clearly won the internal power struggle.

With Twelver hardliners in control there's no chance for a successful outcome, which explains why Vice President Vance has cancelled his plans to travel. President Trump now has his response from Tehran. 

25 April 2026: Iranian Twelver envoy Araghchi met with his Islamic brothers in Pakistan and delivered Tehran's "comprehensive response" to Trump's demands. He has since departed for chats in Muscat and Moscow. Meanwhile, Trump's envoys Witkoff and Kushner are still hours away from landing in Islamabad. Once arrived they'll receive the Twelver response - which is, essentially, there can be no further negotiations with the U.S., there is no nuclear issue, the SoH will remain closed and the U.S. and Israel owe the Twelver regime billions in war reparations. To say at this point that Trump has not been played like a fiddle by the Twelver regime would be a massive understatement. Trump's reaction is sure to be epic.

1 May 2026: It appears to be crunch time for the current phase of Operation Epic Fury as the 60-day threshold of war powers act has arrived. 

The Trump Administration has a couple options to employ. One is to ignore the 60-day mark as previous presidencies have done. Another option is to seek a congressional declaration of war against the Twelver regime. The decision has either already been made or will be made in a matter of a few more hours. 

I believe the decision has been made as the U.S. Army made a request to deploy its Dark Eagle (Long Range Hypersonic Weapon or LRHW) system to the CENTCOM AOR.

7 May 2026: Today Iranian forces launched attacks on three U.S. Navy destroyers transiting eastbound (outbound) from the gulf. USCENTCOM released the following AAR:

“Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No US assets were struck."

FINAL UPDATE 13 May 2026: Eschatology Today closes out this SITREP in noting that both the UAE and Saudi Arabia have conducted retaliatory airstrikes on specific targets inside Iran. This news has been accompanied by reports of Israel's Mossad director making covert visits to the UAE in March and April. These visits signal the close strategic and intelligence cooperation between Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi.

There is also a newly revealed international military coalition of more than forty nations, led by the United Kingdon, who will defend maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz from Iranian attacks and operate to restore freedom of navigation in the Gulf. The Royal Navy air defense destroyer HMS Dragon looks to be this force's flagship.

Within the next day or so the previously noted return to far more destructive attacks on Iran by the US and Israel appears very likely. Operation Sledgehammer will be the subject of SITREP A4-26.

30 March 2026: Notice the position of Kharg Island relative to southern Elam.

Dozens of A-10C Warthogs are inbound!

31 March 2026: An IRGC weapons depot in Esfahan (Isfahan) was utterly destroyed by several American 2,000lb bunker buster bombs recently. This is not the nuclear-related bunker struck previously at Esfahan.

The bunker that was struck this time, to great effect I might add, was imaged by satellite just prior to June 13, 2025. Subsequent analysis of the imagery revealed a large tractor-trailer hauling numerous secure blue-colored barrels since assessed to have contained over 1,000 lbs of 60% enriched HEU. Radiation leakage has not been detected and that may be due to the depth of the now collapsed bunker.

2 April 2026: As noted in my 10AM comment yesterday, the rump Twelver regime, which is now essentially the highest ranking surviving members of the IRGC, has zero intention of surrendering to the US and Israel. Instead they have doubled down and will continue the war by any and all means available to them for the forseeable future. They insist on the surrender of the US and Israel and billions in cash reparations to end the war. Like that's gonna happen!

That means calling on their allies in Yemen, Sudan, Lebanon and IRGC-QF sleeper cells around the world to attack as terrorists will attack any and all targets of opportunity. Hence my interpretation that Jeremiah 49:34-39 will persist in a process of fulfillment until the LORD God ends it on the mountains of Israel (Ezekiel 38-39). 

This isn't a "forever war" as some like to opine, but it is a war of significant duration (47 years and counting) yet which may well be brought to closure for the Bride of Christ by the trumpet-like voice of an archangel announcing the advent of our Harpazo.

FINAL UPDATE 20 April 2026: Eschatology Today assesses that the war against Iran and Hezbollah, representing radical Shi'a Islam, will continue imminently. The primary reason for this assessment is that nothing has been achieved in the stated objectives. 

In Lebanon, which is 100% a war between Israel and Hezbollah, the same interim result as in previous and limited IDF incursions into southern Lebanon is the current status quo. The above map reflects this. Since the U.S. is not at war with Hezbollah the declaration by President Trump that the war is over is not only grossly premature, but also patently absurd. It's not Trump's war to declare an end to nor dictate to the government of the State of Israel how it is conducted. In this situation one could rightly conclude that Trump believes Israel is a vassal state to the United States and its foreign policy is subject to his dictates.

In Iran the war has morphed into a virtually unrecognizable morass. As noted here previously it is war war nominally led by the American SECWAR and his commander in the field but conducted by unqualified businessmen and personal envoys of President Trump. It is being waged unlike any previous war that America has fought; it defies the conduct of an UNDECLARED war as a tool of the foreign policy oof the United States of America. It is also war being waged on the American president's social media platform, vice official White House communications channels. 

Also, whatever happened to the American and Israeli promise to the Iranian people that they'd soon have freedom, liberty and justice from the tyranny from the Shi'a Twelver regime, truly the Nazi's of the 21st century? Gone like yesterday's wind.

Prophetically speaking, the Iran war will conclude as the prophet Jeremiah has foretold or become the age-ending conflagration which sees the rise the of Antichrist as foretold in Daniel 11 by the angel Gabriel - at the appointed time.

Eschatology Today - Operation Epic Fury Endgame

 

16 March 2026: The same image that this series began with will now return for what appears to be the endgame for Operation Epic Fury and Roaring Lion. 

According to multiple sources major hostilities could conclude sometime in April, but that also depends on a set of expected decisive actions at the Strait of Hormuz and Kharg Island. FWIW, Kharg Island lies geographically south of ancient Elam.

18 March 2026: The 31st MEU is reported to be in the vicinity of Singapore and that indicates an arrival in the CENTCOM AOR in late March. Media speculation, like the Israeli media OpEd on their destination being Khuzestan, is also rife with speculation that these amphibious Marines mission will be to secure the Strait of Hormuz shoreline in Iran. The fact is, both Israeli and American media reports may or may not hold water. Khuzestan is assessed likely because it's part of Jeremiah's prophecy. In any case the 31st MEU, America's (911 first responders) are enroute.

20 March 2026: The war against the Twelver regime until now has primarily been an air war. Airstrikes by US and Israeli aircraft, missile strikes by Tomahawks and other long-range, standoff GPS-guided precision munitions. These strikes have, in military parlance, "set the conditions" for the battle which must now follow - seizing the Strait of Hormuz from Twelver control.

Most media report that Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz to martitime traffic. This is only partially correct. The Strait is divided with Iranian territorial water on the northern side, and Emerati and Omani waters on the southern side. VLCC tankers carrying millions of barrels of crude have had routine passage outbound to China and the East from Day One of this war. That would indicate there are no sea mines on the outbound passage of the Gulf. If there's Twelver mining in the Strait its likely on the southern side. 

However, IRGC fast mining craft like above are being hunted by the A-10s like dragon flies hunting surface skimming prey. They're highly skilled and effective hunters. 

There's strong I&W now that the inbound (due in mere days) 31st MEU will have as its core mission the high priority of taking control of the northern shore of the Strait. The 31st has all of the 'tools' necessary for such a mission set, from Boots to Choppers to F-35B strike aircraft.

Winning this battle will, conceivably, enable the eventual capture of important islands and other strategic targets further north along the Gulf coastline and the Endgame.

21 March 2026: The UK and Saudi Arabia have given the US permission to use their airbases for attacks on Iran, Fairford AB in the UK and King Fahd AB in Saudi. 

Shortly after the UK announcement the Twelvers launched two long-range missiles at Diego Garcia, a/k/a Bomber Island. One missile broke apart in mid-flight, the second was shotdown by an American SM-3 interceptor.

There are more rumors of war circulating that not only are two USMC MEU's heading towards Iran, but also elements of the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division (18th Airborne Corps) are being prepped for deployment. The Pentagon is doing its job in preparing multiple options and contingencies for the President to consider.

Gulf states say they are prepared for nine months of war. Israel says the objective of the war is not regime change, but rather regime collapse. Only with regime collapse can the Iranian people become the "boots on the ground" necessary to throw the Twelver regime into the dustbin of history.

The IRGC has demonstratively and conclusively proven that the US, Israel and virtually all Western intelligence estitmates of its missiles and their capabilities are dangerously in error. Iran in the past 24 hours has proven that it possesses intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). The time to take off the "kid gloves" has long since passed.

22 March 2026: A graphic from ISW/Critical Threats effectively illustrates the demonstrated range that Twelver IRGC ballistic missiles are capable of. This intelligence failure may have finally awakened the West to the threat presented in full color on 21 March 2026. The two ballistic missiles which were targeted at Diego Garcia immediately elicted a response from the UK in announcing the presence of their nuclear, tomahawk-armed submarine in the Arabian Sea.

Notice that the vast majority of Europe is well within range of these Twelver missiles.

See all that green indicating the bulk of Iran's oil fields. Look familiar? Yes, it's ancient Elam. You don't seize these oil fields without a massive ground invasion.

Operation Epic Fury

28 February 2026: The usual first casualty in warfare is accurate information. This is due to the rush to report news. Eschatology Today will do its best to assure accuracy going forward. 

At the outset it does appear the fulfillment of the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 may have begun. IRGC missile bases have gotten a few of their "arrows" in the air, but they are under a massive air assault by the United State and Israel armed forces at this time. Twelver regime leadership and military bases are getting significant attention. On the cyber front messaging to the Iranian people has begun with "Help has arrived." Instructions given on the role they are to play in the war, i.e. "take control of Iranian governance."

The IRGC has not been able to launch massive barrages of missiles, as is their preference; they're having launcher problems. The IRGC did manage to launch one missile each at Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. 

Operation Epic Fury is a comprehensive retaliation for ALL of the Twelver regime's attacks against the United States over the past 47 years. President Trump itemized these attacks in his televised comments at 02:45 AM this morning.

Thus far only the shortest range missiles in the IRGC inventory were able to be launched. They barely covered the width of the Gulf waters. The longer range missiles are now on the receiving end of incessant US and Israeli strikes.

Not one to rain upon the parades of freedom loving Iranians, but the death of the Ayatollah and his inner clique, and that which is yet to occur in Iran, it is necessary to turn to Ezekiel 38:5 to see clearly what the near future holds. Ezekiel 38/39, and the other ancient prophets of Israel, do not prophecy about peace. Trust the Word of the LORD.

2 March 2026: In response to many indescriminate missile attacks by the Iranian Twelver regime into all of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries they will now coordinate their counter-strikes into Iran with U.S. CENTCOM HQ. 

After a little more than a day of Israeli and US airstrikes the Command and Control (C2) Tehran can exercise over its forces is non-existent. All local IRGC, Basij, Artesh and what is left of their naval formations must conduct their operations independent of any higher headquarters tasking. The bulk of they navy has been sunk.

What did Eschatology Today say in the very first sentence above? Have readers taken that warning seriously? Not so much. False print information is flooding the internet in an overwhelming manner, and AI-generated video is not far behind. No one sitting in front of their computer screen can tell the difference between a genuine video and an AI-enhanced video or still image. Enjoy the show but know that most of it is NOT REAL.

Finally!!! SECWAR Hegseth just told the world what we've said here for years about the Iranian Twelvers and their theology. The key phrase in SECWAR Hegseth's statement was "prophetic islamic delusions." 

5 March 2026: While the US/Israel airborne assault on the Twelver regime has devastated their missile capabilities, that is, new production, existent stocks and the ability to launch, the obvious next phase now reveals itself which is the method to be used in neutralizing IRGC ground forces. 

The IRGC are fanatics that will need to be thoroughly decimated. The Basij, without fanatical leadership and the knowledge that the al-mahdi was nothing more than a Shi's Twelver delusion, will fold up like a cheap camera. The ground forces needed for this mission are the Persian peoples themselves, be they ethnic Azeri, Baloch, Kurd, Bakhtyar, Lur, Arab, Turk and Persian. 

The regime forces are known to be hiding in schools, sports facilities and the like where US or Israeli strikes are highly unlikely. It will take the well-armed and coherent formations of the peoples of Iran to root them out. We're talking here about an anti-Twelver civil war. They are certain to have US and Israeli air dominance on their side, yet such a campaign will take time.

6 March 2026: Trump says only "unconditional surrender" will save the Islamic Republic of Iran from total destruction. Such a thing is unheard of in the present age, and it's likely the term itself is completely alien to any faction of islam. However, this is Trump at his most unbounded imperial. This represents a major departure from the narrative found in the Scriptures.

12 March 2026: Knock, knock, knock. Who's there? GBU who?

Confirming satellite imagery and analysis also  collected by Maxar and Planet Labs. According to the IAEA the purpose of Taleghan-2 within the Parchin military complex was to develop the high explosive initiator in creating critical mass and nuclear detonation.

So, most likely it wasn't some massive GBU MOPs but rather the IDF's SPICE 2000s that made those three impact craters at Taleghan-2.

13 March 2026: Ever since Hezbollah entered the war on the Twelvers behalf the IDF been fighting two wars simultaneously, one by air over Iran and the other by air, land and sea against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The government of Lebanon has no love for Hezbollah, not any more. They'd rather sacrifice the terrorists to save the country.

The IDF is moving northward into Lebanon and engaging Hezbollah terrorists along the way. It seems the IDF would like to trap Hezbollah's forces south of the Litani River by making it a terrorist kill box. The main Hezbollah route over the Litani, the A-Zararia bridge on the Litani River, was destroyed yesterday. Before the bridge strike somewhere around 500,000 Lebanese civilians evacuated to the northern parts of Lebanon. 

There's talk in Israel to eliminate Hezbollah completely in this war as the geographic paradigm has changed. Syria is now Hezbollah's enemy, so they can't flee to the east or north and are trapped in Lebanon that lies north of the Litani River. Joshua 13 looms as a potential outcome.

24 February 2026: This inaugurates a new phase in the ongoing postings to Eschatology Today, from the longstanding Global SITREP series to a dated chronology simply termed Signs.

The establishment of the State of Israel is at the top of the list as a Sign of the end of this age. Make no mistake, the re-establishment of Israel in the Covenant Land is an ongoing process, witness the struggle over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

Within the past day something occured here that has not happened since Jesus walked on this land, and the Hasmonean's ruled until the Roman conquest. The national banner of Israel was raised atop Mount Sartaba which fronts on the Jordan Valley.

In Israel's ancient history and during the Second Temple period this mount held, and still does have deep religious and national importance. A Signal fire would light up on the Mount of Olives opposite the Temple, and then a Signal fire would lit on Mount Sartaba. Jews in Babylon understood this Sign. Now in this era the same signalling is taking effect echoing ancient times. On Rosh Chodesh Nisan a signal fire will be lit as a signal [via TV] to the Jewish diaspora all over the world that "Israel Lives." 

26 February 2026: "War and rumors of war" are a sign. The current rumor of war between the US/Israel and Iran is like an epic storm rumbling towards us over plains and mountains, or a tsunami rushing a relatively calm shoreline. Its sudden arrival will alter most things in ways that are currently only supposition or conjecture in the secular world. 

Bible prophecy is more direct in the effects that will take place. Iran under the Twelver regime will go from a major threat and number one terror sponsoring state in the world to a second or third-rate has-been power, such as the war-torn rump of Sudan and Libya. So says the ancient Spirit-inspired prophet Ezekiel. It is the nearness of Ezekiel's prophetic military action which is the clearest indication of when the Bride of Christ will be instantaneously taken up to be with the LORD. 27 February 2026:  As noted previously, the presence of Persia in the disastrous Magog confederation assault on Israel per Ezekiel 38/39, indicates a US/Israel attack in the near future will likely not achieve a regime change in the ruling theocracy. An attack or a "palace coup d'etat" could change the top tier Twelver leadership. Should this occur the most likely candidate for leadership and continuation of hatred for Israel might be Ali Larijani, a very close associate of Ayatollah Khamenei and the one he has personally tasked to ensure the survival of the Islamic Republic, even though Larijani is not a Twelver.

28 February 2026: Just when the visits to Eschatology Today tanked to rock bottom in the last 48 hours, the order was given and the U.S. Department of War began the execution of OPERATION EPIC FURY against the Islamic Republic of Iran at 0'Dark Thirty this morning. 

The State of Israel is also striking the Islamic Republic in concert with the US Armed Forces, making this a truly joint operation. Hezbollah targets in Lebanon have also been hit hard this morning by the IAF. At least one Israeli Naval Service (INS) submarine armed with Israel's second strike nuclear deterent put to sea this morning. It was last seen departing Haifa at high speed.

The Houthi's in Yemen have declared the Bab al-Mandab strait closed to all shipping. They claim to attack all US and Israeli ships they can reach.

In the Gulf the first strikes of Op Epic Fury hit several IRGC naval bases from which an attempt to deny transit access to the Strait of Hormuz would originate.

Twelver retalitation targeted the US Naval Support Activity in Manama, Bahrain. A video appears to show a direct hit on the US 5th Fleet HQ. There are also videos of Iranian missiles being shot down over the UAE.

The primary objective of Op Epic Fury appears to be neutralizing the Twelver regime (Tehran has been hit several times so far), its IRGC bases, infrastructure and nuclear sites. Given the intensity of action a new post will begin this morning.
