Global SITREP A4-26: OPERATION HAMMER TIME?

13 May 2026: The name of the renewed war against the Twelver regime in Iran speaks volumes as to what can and cannot be expected in the coming 60 days.

16 May 2026: The U.S. military has far more kinetic firepower within the CENTCOM AOR now than at any time since 28 February, not to omit the strategic firepower at the ready stateside or in Europe. The "ceasefire" has allowed for fresh troop rotations, replenishment and the introduction of new weaponry, such as the aforementioned LRHW Dark Eagle.

The Shi'a Twelver leadership and IRGC commanders had better be ensconced in their deepest, most reinforced bunkers - or else. President Trump, both while one AF1 on the flight home from Asia and immediately when on American terra firma, has made it crystal clear in multiple interviews to the non-fake news media that the Yanks are not going home. It's time ti finish this Iran business. Iran will now be reduced to the pathetic state where it's militarily equivilent to Kuwsh and Phut (Ezekiel 38). 

By the way brothers and sisters, there is a very powerful reason why Magog has surrounded and buttressed itself with troops from its allies across the globe. That reason is it's armed forces have become completely spent from its foolish (by Divine Design?) invasion of Ukraine over the past four years. Hooks at the ready!

18 May 2026: The US and Israel are within hours of initializing a third and final attack on the Twelver regime ruling Iran. As noted for some time now this final attack will be comprehensive and on a scale far beyond anything previous. Jeremiah 49:34-39 will come to fulfillment in the coming days; the Persia of Ezekiel 38/39 is the secondary result.

24 May 2026: The final attack, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, 19 May, was postponed at the last minute because President Trump deferred to the wants of Islamic Arab leaders of the Arabian peninsula. Those leaders said critical "peace" negotiations were in progress and should not be disrupted by a new wave of US-Israeli strikes on Iran. This appears to be where the disinformation campaign began. Discernment of facts from fiction is now taking place.

25 May 2026: Many have focused their attention on the relevance of Ezekiel 38:13 to recent events in the Middle East. The Abraham Accords between Israel and several Sunni Arab states of the Arabian Gulf appears to have a direct connection to this prophetic foretelling.

What we now know about the Trump conference call that included virtually all of the penninsula states is that, aside of the UAE, they were met with an expectation from Trump that is an addendum to the attempt at peace negotiations with the Iranian Twelver regime. 

With a diplomatic negotiated end to the war being the highly preferred outcome (the carrot), and a resumption of war (the stick) being less desirable for obvious reasons, the Sunni Arab states not currently part of the Abraham Accords are expected to join, exchange ambassadors, open embassies and normalize relations with Israel upon the cessation of hostilities with the Twelver regime in Iran.

Two birds with one stone, so to speak. Bringing an end to the 47 year long Iran war via carrot or stick, and an end to the Arab-Israel confrontation of the past 78 years including a normalization of relations between the Saudis and Israelis. This is the net objective underpinning the Trump agenda to end war with the clerics in Tehran. It has high potential as a fulfillment of Ezekiel 38:13.

Global SITREP A3-26: Operation Epic Fury Endgame PART III

April 22, 2026: We now know that President Trump's unilateral extension of the ceasefire with the Iranian Twelver regime is due to the fact that the regime is in a fractured and highly unstable political state. The IRGC appears to be acting since yesterday as the de facto power of the government in ordering attacks by IRCG fast attack craft on M/Vs in the Strait of Hormuz and east of it from the Iranian Port of Chabahar into the Gulf of Oman. The lack of a U.S. response thus far to the serious attacks gives weight to what Pentagon sources say will come next.

Multiple sources are reporting that officials in the Pentagon are strongly indicating that a resumption of the war is imminent. However, the resumption of combat operations will far surpass the power and violence rained down upon Iran since the initiation of hostilities on February 28. Three U.S. Navy supercarrier CSGs are now in the CENTCOM AOR (Lincoln, Ford and G.H.W. Bush) plus several thousand U.S. Marines, Airborne and Special Operations forces plus the inherent and significant increase of combat airpower. Israeli forces are also primed to resume their Operation Roaring Lion combat operations

The meaning here is that Trump's indefinite ceasefire probably does not indicate a long-term cessation but a finite extension of potentially very short duration in order to give the Twelver political echelon a chance to impose control over the IRGC.

24 April 2026: The U.S.-Iranian Twelver "negotiations" in Pakistan have taken a big hit because hardliners in the Ayatollah's inner circle and the IRGC have forced (former) lead negotiator Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf to resign. Ghalibaf was also severely reprimanded by the inner circle over inclusion of the nuclear issue in negotiations with the US. His participation is likely the reason any progress was made in previous rounds. Regime hardliners and the Ayatollah's inner circle have clearly won the internal power struggle.

With Twelver hardliners in control there's no chance for a successful outcome, which explains why Vice President Vance has cancelled his plans to travel. President Trump now has his response from Tehran. 

25 April 2026: Iranian Twelver envoy Araghchi met with his Islamic brothers in Pakistan and delivered Tehran's "comprehensive response" to Trump's demands. He has since departed for chats in Muscat and Moscow. Meanwhile, Trump's envoys Witkoff and Kushner are still hours away from landing in Islamabad. Once arrived they'll receive the Twelver response - which is, essentially, there can be no further negotiations with the U.S., there is no nuclear issue, the SoH will remain closed and the U.S. and Israel owe the Twelver regime billions in war reparations. To say at this point that Trump has not been played like a fiddle by the Twelver regime would be a massive understatement. Trump's reaction is sure to be epic.

1 May 2026: It appears to be crunch time for the current phase of Operation Epic Fury as the 60-day threshold of war powers act has arrived. 

The Trump Administration has a couple options to employ. One is to ignore the 60-day mark as previous presidencies have done. Another option is to seek a congressional declaration of war against the Twelver regime. The decision has either already been made or will be made in a matter of a few more hours. 

I believe the decision has been made as the U.S. Army made a request to deploy its Dark Eagle (Long Range Hypersonic Weapon or LRHW) system to the CENTCOM AOR.

7 May 2026: Today Iranian forces launched attacks on three U.S. Navy destroyers transiting eastbound (outbound) from the gulf. USCENTCOM released the following AAR:

“Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No US assets were struck."

FINAL UPDATE 13 May 2026: Eschatology Today closes out this SITREP in noting that both the UAE and Saudi Arabia have conducted retaliatory airstrikes on specific targets inside Iran. This news has been accompanied by reports of Israel's Mossad director making covert visits to the UAE in March and April. These visits signal the close strategic and intelligence cooperation between Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi.

There is also a newly revealed international military coalition of more than forty nations, led by the United Kingdon, who will defend maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz from Iranian attacks and operate to restore freedom of navigation in the Gulf. The Royal Navy air defense destroyer HMS Dragon looks to be this force's flagship.

Within the next day or so the previously noted return to far more destructive attacks on Iran by the US and Israel appears very likely. Operation Sledgehammer will be the subject of SITREP A4-26.

Four B2 Spirit Stealth Bombers on Standby

UPDATED 29 March 2025: On 7 March the United States of America delivered an ultimatum to the Islamic Republic of Iran: Within 60 days you will enter into negotiations for a new nuclear deal, or else. 

A very stealthy and lethal part of the 'or else' are now sitting on a tarmac at Diego Garcia island in the Indian Ocean (image above). For those who've not been following the 60-day countdown, it will expire during the first week of May 2025, and that is when "bad, bad things will happen for Iran."

30 March: Iran has threatened to attack the Chagos Islands where Diego Garcia island is located with the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT). For Iran there is no distinction between US and UK forces based there.

31 March: Ari Larijani, the top advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, has said Iran will have no choice but to produce nuclear weapons if attacked by the US.

3 April: Eschatology Today years ago advanced an interpretive exegesis of Jeremiah 49:34-39 which involved a coalition of nations initiating strikes against the Twelver Regime. 

Currently the US, UK and Israel are prepared to strike to preempt the Iranian nuclear weapons program following the unilateral raid conducted by Israel in 2024 that hit both air defense capabilities and a key nuclear site Iran believed no one knew about.

Now France is warning of the "inevitability" of military strikes should diplomatic efforts to secure an agreement fail. The French statement mirrors that of President Trump's statements in recent days and may be seen as being consistent with the aforementioned 60-day countdown. The U.S. countdown now has approximately 30 days remaining.

USAF B-2 Spirit and Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP)

4 April: President Trump recently made a specific point to Ukraine's President Zelenskyy about his not having the 'cards' to play against Russian President Vladimir Putin in either a military or diplomatic effort to end the war. The gambit was with the United States at Ukraine's side (along with Ukrainian rare earth materials) Ukraine would have American 'cards" to play in securing Ukraine's future as an independent country.

There are two great conflicts on the earth at this time aside from the Middle East. The first is the War in Ukraine (Europe) and the Communist Chinese threat to wage war by invading and annexing Taiwan (Western Pacific). However, make no mistake that the Middle East is the conflict with the high potential to determine the outcome of war in Europe and the Western Pacific. 

The impending conflict between the US (with UK, FR and IL) and the Islamic Republic of Iran will prove whether or not President Trump really possesses the 'cards' or if he is about to overplay his hand. Should Trump's threat for "bad, bad things" fail to materialize for Iran next month then both Russia and the Chinese would be correct to assess that the cards in Trump's hand are nothing more than a brinksmanship bluff (Trump has pledged to be a peace president and not a war-starting president) and they could press on with their national agendas of using overwhelming kinetic force to achieve their desired objectives (the military conquests of Ukraine and Taiwan).

Eschatology Today assesses that President Trump is NOT bluffing. The ongoing build-up of overwhelming American warfighting capability in the CENTCOM AOR, in particularly the several B-2 Spirit stealth bombers carrying two each 30,000 lb. Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs to crack open Iranian mountain redoubts housing nuclear and missile depots is not an idle threat. There can be no retreat from "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon." Russia and the 'kings of the East' are watching intently. So are we.

8 April 2025: Why are these B-2 bombers not inside the hangers designed for them? Because American generals want the overhead satellites and Iran "to see our sword." They carry the most potent non-nuclear weapons in the American inventory and are impervious to Iranian air defense, or what is left of it. And, if necessary, they can carry nukes too, a lot of them.

I24 news (Israel) just reported that the US propsal to Iran is akin to the Libyan nuclear disarmament accepted by Muamar Kadhaffi years ago and which preceded the coup d'etat which overthrew his regime and resulted in his death.

The US will allow Iran to keep nuclear power for civilian use (Bushehr NPP), but its weapons program, including uranium enrichment, must be shut down and 100% dismantled or it will be destroyed in place. Iran has less than a month to accept or reject the options. Iran accepting the "Libyan option" is considered unlikely.

UPDATE 9 April 2025: The logo designed to celebrate Israel's 77th year of existence is scheduled for official release in early May. Coincidentally, or possibly not so, the timing of the release is concurrent with the terminus of Iran's 60-day warning period to unilaterally terminate their nuclear weapons program or have it terminated by force of arms as foretold by the LORD's prophet Jeremiah (Yirmĭyāhu).

In other news, the lead prosecutor of the government of Argentina has solicited the country's Supreme Court to issue an arrest warrant for Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei over the terrorist bombing of the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires. Argentinian investigators have solid evidence of Iran's responsibility for that terrorist attack. Argentina under the leadership of President Javier Milei has become one of Israel's strongest allies.

Israel has completed the division of Gaza into three zones. 

The Netzarim Corridor slices completely through the strip south of Gaza City; the Morag Corridor slices through between Khan Younis and Rafah, and the Philadelphi Corridor divides Gaza from Egypt south of Rafah. 

Annexation of the parcels of land to Israel proper between these corridors will fully reverse the 2005 disengagement by the late-Ariel Sharon government.

Global SITREP A7-24: The War in the North Part II

12 April 2024: The cyber-sky is full of media and supposed insider flak at present regarding the who, what, when and how the Twelver Regime might attempt to strike in retaliation for Israel's strike on the IRGC-QF headquarters destruction of eleven days ago. And this doesn't even account for a highly probable Israeli response, a potential American retaliation against Iran and the massive amount of international hand-wringing over the entire possible if not probable rumors of war scenarios. 

Most of the guesswork in the MSM citing anonymous official sources has, obviously, missed the mark thus far, they predicted before then end of Ramadan. The Wall Street Journal, citing a source claiming to have been briefed by the Twelver Regime itself, is the latest to put forward a timeline: within 24-48 hours of daybreak today.

Eschatology Today's current assessment of the entire gamut of known unknowns is what will be, will be. However, a direct mass attack into Israel by any or all of Iran's proxies, including Iran itself, could easily result in a massive Israeli strike against the Twelver Regime inside of Iran, as well as in Lebanon and Syria. Might this be a pending fulfillment of Jeremiah 49:24-27 and 34-39, followed closely by Isaiah 17, Joshua 13:1-7  and ultimately the final act of Psalm 83? We're about to find out the details of these prophetic appointment of the Lord.

Global SITREP A3-23: The Za'am

 

The Vision of Daniel 8

26 January 2023: This SITREP is a timely and necessary update and continuation of what was posted in Global SITREP E4-18 just over five years ago. It regards the vision given to Daniel and the interpretation of the vision by the angel Gabriel in chapter 8 of the Book of Daniel. Current events warrant an update.

Two days ago reliable media reports noted that two Iranian Navy vessels made a port call to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Iranian port call, not coincidentally, comes after another stolen election, opposed most strenuously by the people, has just recently restored a leftist government in the South America nation. 

The IRIS frigate Dena and the forward naval operations base IRIS Makran are scheduled to depart Rio on 30 January for the Panama Canal. The Panama Canal is a nautical choke point the same as the Strait of Hormuz and the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb at the southern end of the Red Sea. The IRIS Makran no doubt has an embarked force of IRGC marines as well as suicide drones and several helicopters. 

Israel attacked a similar Iranian forward base ship, the IRIS Saviz, in 2021 as it was off the coast of Yemen. Another similar Iranian ship, the IRIS Lavan, serving as an IRGC forward base attacked a mocked-up replica of Israel's naval base at Eilat about three weeks ago with suicide drones. Missile attack against a mock-up of Israel Dimona nuclear complex also occurred in December 2022. Therefore, it is conceivable that these Iranian ship could pose a threat to not only the Panama Canal, but also to coastal targets in the southern United States. A direct and often promised Iranian retaliation for the U.S. military assassination of IRGC Quds Force commander MG Qasem Soleimani has yet to occurs. Ship with capabilities such as these, in proximity to US coastlines could attempt one or more retaliatory strikes. 

As noted in the E4-18, this is about prophetic continuity. Again, in Daniel 8:17 the angel Gabriel informs Daniel that he was to understand "for at the time of the end shall be the vision." In verse 19 Gabriel also informs these last days are viewed in heaven as za'am, which conveys the meaning of the the Divine frothing at the mouth with rage and indignation, having fury in displeasure of the sins being committed on earth. I've not seen at any time previously a better characterization of the true meaning of "in that day of the wrath of God" than what Gabriel imparts in Daniel 8:19. The phrase "righteous indignation" has a much greater connotation than considered before now.

There are other factors to consider in the current situation, not the least of which are strikes against the Iranian nuclear program. As with many other things, such strikes could kick-start the vision Daniel was given for our present time.

As an addendum: A pitched battle between the IDF special forces and Islamic Jihad terrorists occurred this morning in Jenin. Many terrorists were "neutralized" in a sustained firefight. Israel is anticipating rocket fire from Gaza, and IDF paratroopers are reinforcing positions in Judea and Samaria. Iron Dome units are on alert. If hostilities do erupt on a greater scale, the new government in Israel is promising that its "full force" will be brought to bear on the enemy.

Global SITREP G3-21: War in the WESTPAC

 

UPDATED BELOW: 7 October 2021: It's not looking good in the WESTPAC (Western Pacific). A headline and article published yesterday by DailyWaire.com: "Chinese State Media Warns U.S.: 'War May Be Triggered At Any Time' Over Taiwan." 

All pretense of even relative calm between the Communist mainland and the Nationalist democratic government on Taiwan has evaporated. The air force of the PLA have intruded within Taiwan's ADIZ (Air Defense Identification Zone) well over 150 times since last Friday, with 56 combat aircraft intruding on Monday, 4 October, just three days ago. These aggressive intrusions of PLA J-11 combat aircraft are a virtual daily occurrence and in every circumstance are they  intercepted Taiwanese Air Force F-16 fighters. The confrontations are normally brief, less than 15 minutes, but in this environment air combat could erupt and end in a first contact within seconds.

 

The Communist mouthpiece paper Global Times made clear this week that the trigger for the PLA military to bring punishment upon Taiwan's "secessionist forces" will occur, and "Time will prove that this warning is not just a verbal threat." This was followed by a Communist tweet: "Since Taiwan authorities are preparing for war, let's see whether Australia is willing to accompany Taiwan[s] separatist regime to become cannon fodder."

As we've noted previously, there is no question that Japan will act militarily in defense of Taiwan. Make no mistake, Japan is urgently preparing for war with China. The CCP response has been that it would nuke Japan in the event of Japanese intervention in "Chinese internal affairs." As for the U.S. under fully CCP-compromised President Joe Biden, the longstanding ambiguity of the Taiwan Agreement (maybe we will, maybe we won't) remains as it is.

Here are all of the ingredients necessary for tactical nuclear warfare to erupt in the WESTPAC. The question then becomes, will it remain a tactical exchange of nukes or escalate up to strategic strikes. Wars and rumors of wars.

Tsugaru Strait, Japan

UPDATE 21 October 2021: What is known in naval terms as a Joint Surface Action Group (J-SAG), this one comprised of Russian and Chinese PLA/N surface combatant ships, passed through Japan's international waterway, the Tsugaru Strait, on Monday of this week (map above). The USNI website has the report in detail from the Joint Staff of the Japanese Self-Defense Force (JSDF) in photos and data points. It is well worth your attention.

Eschatology Today will note that this Russian-Chinese J-SAG evokes the future fulfillment in Scripture found in Daniel 11:44 regarding military news from the east and the north resulting in a specific 70th Week military engagements. Nevertheless we see these same military powers acting in concert today in prologue for the future. This transit is also a direct threat to Japan with respect to the Japanese declaration of its intent to defend Taiwan in the event of Communist Chinese military action. 

Global SITREP B2-20: Rumors of War

UPDATED> 26 March 2020: There are indications that hostilities against Iran may be in advanced planning stages. These indications began to coalesce following the Iranian Shi'a militia proxy (PMF) made another attempt to attack the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad this morning with rockets. The rockets fell short, but were on a definitive trajectory to strike the Embassy.

There was a massive and apparently impromptu US and Israeli air forces exercise in southern Israel which may have just concluded. None of the U.S. aircraft landed in Israel. Most of the participating aircraft were of US and Israeli F-35 stealth family of strike aircraft. The US F-35s flew in to Israel, engaged in the exercise and departed post-exercise to several bases elsewhere in the Middle East.  Concurrent with the US/Israeli air strike exercise the U.S, and UAE conducted an exercise to seize and hold a small city. There were 4,000 troops involved. These are the indications that some type of retaliation or other military action might be in the works, corona virus or no corona virus.

And that's not all. Today Benny Gantz stunned Israelis by abandoning the Blue and White party to join Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud in forming a unity coalition and immediately thereafter forming an "emergency" unity government for the State of Israel. Upon establishment of the "emergency" unity government. Gantz immediately took his initial position as Speaker of the Knesset; he will eventually fill the role of Israel's Foreign Minister. Netanyahu will retain his position as Prime Minister until September 2021 at which time Gantz will assume the premiership of Israel. In analysis, it seems obvious that the need for Israel to establish an "emergency" unity government is related to some external, existential threat requirement. An external existential requirement such as to preempt the Iranian nuclear weapons programs would appear to fit the current situation, as well as the aforemention military activities.

In a side note, the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) has docked in Guam in mid-deployment. The carrier had to medevac three sailors earlier this week who tested positive with COVID-19, but with only very mild symptoms. Since then several more crewmen have tested positive, also with mild symptoms. The Navy says 100% of the 5,000-strong crew will be tested. No one will be permitted to leave the pier at which the ship docked. The ship remains combat capable if called upon.

28 March 2020: Once again Eschatology Today's advanced sourcing has proven accurate as seen in news reports such as was published today in the Jerusalem Post. The report, published just over one hours ago, bears the headline "Iran and US preparing for new round of conflict in Iraq." 

As noted in the original entry for this SITREP, "hostilities against Iran" means within the territory of Iran. Other indications strongly suggest the US may also intend to annihilate the IRGC-QF PMF/PMU militias known as Hashd al-Shaabi; with Katai'b Hezbollah being a principle entity, and which operates in both Iraq and Syria. It's Syria base was recently annihilated through intensive strikes from F-35 stealth aircraft. More OSINT details are to be found in the linked JPost article.

Ash Sha-irat Air Base burns after IAF strike 31MAR20

2 April 2020: Continuing where comments left off early this morning with the multiple-sources confirmation of the IAF strike on Syria's Ash-Sha'irat Air Base. It is the second such strike on this base in recent weeks. It is also where the U.S. struck almost three years ago to the day when President Trump retaliated after the Syrian chemical weapons attack on Khan Sheikhoun that originated from this air base. Khan Sheikhoun is located in the southern part of Idlib Province. For those in need of a refresher, pay a visit HERE. 

So, beside the obvious chemical weapons aspect, why is Israel repeatedly striking this particular air base; what actionable intelligence does Israel have? By many accounts Israel is convinced that Syria retains a considerable CW capability, one that could prove far more deadly to far more Israelis than nCoV-2019 does. This is a CW capability that was not fully destroyed under international guarantee. No surprise here.

The particular CW holding Israel's rapt attention is the neurotoxin VX, the most potent chemical weapon on earth. It is this type of weapon when used against Israel's cities that would almost certainly result in Damascus' transformation to a heap of ruins. So, we could say that the IAF is unknowingly doing its level best to preempt the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49:23-27. Obviously, these prophecies will be fulfilled, and Ash-Sha'irat Air Base is a likely source for that soon to arrive "day of disease and incurable pain." (Is. 17:11b NKJV)

Yesterday, President Trump once again repeated his oft-repeated warning to the Iranian regime about the resulting repercussions an attack against U.S. troops will precipitate. Paraphrase, the President said, 'We don't want conflict, so Iran should not do what (we know) they are planning to do.' Eventually the apocalyptic Twelver regime in Tehran and Qom will act stupidly, and that, as the saying goes, will be that.

11 April 2020: The image ISI released which shows  the damage done to Sha'irat Air Base runways and navigation systems, as well as "repair activity."

UPDATE 22 April 2020: In the past week or so  Iranian naval gunboats have routinely and dangerously harassed U.S. Navy ships in the Gulf. The Iranian's have ignored all U.S. ships warnings to stand-off and stand-down from these types of harassing and aggressive actions.

A little over two hours ago President Trump relayed an order to the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet:

"I have instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at sea."

Update 18 January 2020:  President Trump, as we're all aware of now, warned the Ayatollah of Iran about 52 targets that would he struck if American military personnel were killed in retaliatory strikes by Iranian forces. President Trump noted that included within those 52 targets were Iranian "cultural sites." Most everyone, including the entire gamut of media, was aghast at the idea of American weapons destroying Iranian cultural sites.

Three years now and people still do not fully comprehend "Trump-speak."  It's a fact.

When President Trump said "cultural sites" he was unambiguously informing the Ayatollah, his Twelver regime and the IRGC: WE KNOW YOU'RE USING IRANIAN CULTURAL AND RELIGIOUS SITES AS COVER FOR NUCLEAR WEAPONS DEVELOPMENT. 

Let that sink in as it has for the Iranian Twelver regime. It is language they understand implicitly as not just a threat, but a promise that remains in effect.

8 January 2020: The media, lock, stock and barrel, is rife today with not just disinformation about what took place last night in Iraq, but absolute bald-face lies. And they cite "Western sources" as the origin for the "truth" they are trying to cloud our minds with. 

The claim, which actually originated from within the propaganda of the Iranian government, is that the volley of ballistic missiles were deliberately pre-programmed to miss killing American and allied troops at Ayn al-Asad Airbase. This lie is intended to deceive and convince the public that the Iranian government intended to do no harm; that they just had to save face and show their people a win against the "Great Satan" by firing harmless missiles at an American airbase.

Earlier today the image at the top was acquired. It may go viral in due course, along with others like it. Save it, enlarge it, and look closely at it. You will see white-dashes forming circles in several (five to be precise) places in the base perimeter. Those are NOT misses. They are, in fact, direct hits on facilities which had been populated by American and allied troops.

American orbital reconnaissance satellites, of many types and capabilities, had detected Iranian preparations for a ballistic missile attack many hours before the fact. The soldiers who would have been in harms way, in the very structures that were hit, were moved well in advance to safe, secure spaces. This was done hours prior to the Swiss/Iraqi communication that Iran was going to attack. It was the US intelligence which ultimately saved Iran, its people and probably the world at-large, from the devastating consequences of American strikes, many of which would have obliterated active Iranian nuclear weapons sites. 

If you have not already done so, watch President Trump's statement made this morning and carefully listen to what he said. Do so with the information you have now just read in mind. Yes, American mainstream media, all the major TV and cable news networks, would rather fill your head with the abject lies concocted by the Iranian regime simply because of their all-consuming hatred of President Donald J. Trump.

P.S. Eschatology Today advised its readership to track events today on the Times of Israel website. Unbeknownst to Eschatology Today THIS was published about two hours ago. Imagine that, truth being told in Israeli media, but not in American media.

Global SITREP C5-19: 21st Century Warfare

UPDATED (Below) 19 July 2019: Yesterday at approximately 10 AM in the morning in the Strait of Hormuz there was a hostile encounter between the US and Iran. But the shots fired weren't conventional bullets, but a beam of electromagnetic energy (EM). Welcome to warfare in the 21st Century. The 11th MEU embarked on the USS Boxer brought down an Iranian drone which got too close and made threatening maneuvers. The "fire" on theenemy target came from the vehicle imaged above, the USMC LMADIS (Light Marine Air Defense Integrated System) mounted on a militarized Polaris MRZR dune buggy. One or more of the drum-shaped emitters enveloped the iranian drone in an EM beam cutting off all singals from its control center in Iran, Uncontrolled the Iranian drone crashed into the sea.

The image above shows how the LMADIS was tied-down on the forward deck of the USS Boxer as it engaged the threatening Iranian drone. The question is, is this how the prophetic engagement of Jeremiah 49:34-39 begins, with a form of modern EM warfare that to the ancients was completely incomprehensible. Some unseen power literally plucked a flying craft out of the sky. This is not unlike another unseen power breaking the "bow of Elam." 

Standing by now to see what develops next. It appears as if a new threshold has been crossed.

22 July 2018: The update is that this weekend most of the regular surface fleet of the Iranian Navy (IRIN) which consists of 3 frigates, and a host of the fast boats of the IRGC, departed from their births. One frigate stood off about 500 years in parallel of the USS Boxer ESG as the six ships entered into the (Arabian) Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz. 

And as most have heard by now, the UK has its problems with Iran in the form of two of its merchant vessel having been taken over by IRGC heliborne commandos and fastboats. It appears that today's COBRA session of the UK govenment resulted in a determination to send a submarine, a destroyer, and some additional numbers of SBS commando to the Gulf. Things are heating up quickly.

Global SITREP D3-18: The End-Game in Syria (Part III)

UPDATE 11 October 2018: Knock-knock. Anyone paying attention?  What's so completely wrong with this picture: On September 17, 2018 the "Syrian" Air Defense system, allegedly under Russian military command and control (C2) shot down a Russian IL-20M electronic spy plane killing all 15 crewmen aboard 21.9 miles (35 km) off the Syrian coast in the Mediterranean Sea. For this catastrophic act Russia rewards Syria with four (4) complete S-300PMU-2 air defense systems for free? Nobody finds this odd? 

A three week old real-world reality and everyone's moved on to other stuff. Right. Shoot down a multi-million dollar spy plane, kill 15 Russian highly-trained specialist airmen, blame Israel for it, and Russia gives Syria $600 million dollars worth of state-of-the-art air defense systems absolutely free. It should have been a billion-dollar deal between Russia and Syria. Nothing to see here, move along. (And in Ezekiel 38/39 Russia comes calling to take Israel as a spoil of war - yeah, move along.)

And another thing. It is found in Jeremiah 49:23. The general area is denoted in this prophecy with the naming of "Hamath and Arpad." Specifically, northwestern Syria. Eschatology Today has been keyed like a laser on this for quite some time now. Then the text gets a little more specific; it focuses on the nearby sea to the west: "There is trouble on the sea, it cannot be quiet."  

Ohhh, that's right, a Russian aircraft with 15 souls on board were shot out of the sky by a Russian missile from a Russian integrated air defense system 22 miles out into that sea off Syria's coastline. And Israel was blamed - is being blamed - and $600 million worth of additional air defense systems are given to Syria for free. Systems designed to wage war against... who? No big deal. No chance here of prophetic fulfillment to the exact letter 2,600 years after God gave it to the reluctant prophet. And all the prophecy teachers were silent.

10 October 2018: RUSSIA HAS REJECTED ISRAEL'S SOVEREIGNTY OF THE GOLAN!

8 October 2018: This is big news for a very important update. Israel is beginning to recognize Russia as an enemy nation. 

An analysis piece was published by Arutz Sheva (INN) in Israel this morning under the headline: "Russia's Latest Moves Reveal it as an Enemy." This analysis is clearly based upon an article written by Yigal Carmon published yesterday by the Jewish News Syndicate under the headline: "The mask drops: Russia reveals itself as Israel's enemy." Both of these articles confirm the continuing analysis published by Eschatology Today in the immediate aftermath the IL-20M shoot-down, and specifically as found in the last two paragraphs at the bottom of this SITREP.  The Arutz Sheva analysis also confirms the referenced "rumors of war" found in the first sentence of second paragraph in the original 5 October dateline.

Quoting the Arutz Sheva analysis:

"During his meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly almost two weeks ago Netanyahu said he had “got everything he wanted from Trump” regarding the crisis with Russia over Syria.The Israeli-Russian crisis started after the Russian army falsely blamed Israel’s air force (IAF) for the downing of a Ilyushin IL-20 reconnaissance plane which was shot down with a S-200 SAM missile killing 15 Russian servicemen on Sept. 20.Trump reportedly okayed the immediate delivery of an additional number of F-35 stealth war planes - which are considered the best fighter jets in the world – to the Israeli Air Force, while for the first time deploying a squadron of US F-35s in Abu Dhabi.Both moves must be regarded as an attempt to neutralize the threat posed by the new S-300 anti-aircraft batteries to both the IAF and the US Air Force, which is supporting American Special Forces stationed in eastern Syria and northern Iraq."

It should not take an Einstein, or eight million Einstein's in Israel, to shortly put two and two together in a realization that the Russian Federation is the power from the utmost north identified by the prophet Ezekiel in the 38th and 39th chapter of the prophetic book bearing his name.

In the meantime, the best fighter aircraft in the world is directly engaged in countering Iran from the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to the eastern end of the Arabian Sea, in essence, the entire Area of Operations (AOR) of South West Asia. We can also see the two opposing forces referenced by Ezekiel, the Magog military confederation and Israel's military allies - Sheba, Dedan (the GCC alliance) and merchants of Tarshish and all its young lions (the Western or NATO alliance). 

And a necessary word of caution regarding Ezekiel 38/39. This prophetic engagement is NOT next on the timeline of pre-70th Week of prophetic dominos. The events and specific enemies described by the singing prophet Asaph in Psalm 83, and the two parallel prophecies of Isaiah 11:14 and Ezekiel 28:24 must occur first in order to fulfill the pre-condition established by Ezekiel 38:8-11. These specifics are essential to repeatedly bring up so that all who read here fully understand the literal (hermeneutic) interpretation and scope of prophetic fulfillments espoused by the bulk of those prophecy teachers who adhere to classical Dispensationalism.

Again... the impending fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49:23-27 are viewed by Eschatology Today as key prophetic dominos in the nearing flood of toppling of other well-identified and successive prophetic dominos leading up to the 70th Week. At some unknown point in this process, the bride of Christ shall be caught up instantaneously at the last trumpet to meet our LORD Jesus Christ in the air (I Corinthians 15:50-54).

Russian S-300PMU-2 "Favorit" SAMs in Syria

5 October 2018: The first sentences of the previous SITREP D2-18 have been proven correct: "The end-game in Syria is no longer about rebels. Now it's all about a big powers (i.e. nuclear powers) face-off: Russia, Syria and Iran versus Israel, the U.S. and our allies." The big powers face-off can be seen in the escalating high-end hardware entering the war zone. In the past week we saw the emergency transfer deployment of four front-line Russian armed forces S-300PMU-2 "Favorit" SAM systems directly from their bases in Russia to the T4 (Tiyas) Air Base in Syria. 

The rumors of war have it that additional F-35I Adir stealth fighters are enroute to Israel in response. If this reminds you of a grand-scale chess game, you're not alone in thinking along those lines. The United States has a standing directive to maintain Israel's qualitative edge when it comes to military hardware. The F-35I Adir is the tip of that spear and it is merely a matter of time before that spear is thrown against the next Iranian/Hezbollah target to appear in Syria. For their part the Russians understand this implicitly - Israel will not fire at Russian or Syrian forces unless fired upon. Iranian military forces in Syria are another matter entirely and will be struck when identified.

The increased Russian S-300PMU-2 "Favorit" SAM deployment into central Syria is, as US CENTCOM commader General Votel recently stated, "a needless, needless escalation." That said, General Votel also noted that the S-300 deployment will not have any effect on current and future US military operations. Ditto for Israel.

The Russians have also deployed one of the FOUR newly arrived S-300PMU-2 "Favorit" SAMs to Tartus, Syria, which is an element of the Russian air defense battalion in Syria. That means this deployment can be seen as a reinforcement as would also be the case of Hmeimim Air Base where other S-300 and S-400 batteries have been based for a couple years now. 

The Russian SAMs were clearly combat ineffective in preventing the IL-20M Coot-A from being shot down by their Syrian ally. Russia knows this as a fact because the Russian MoD announced on 25 August 2017 that its air defenses deployed into Syria had been fully integrated with the air defense assets of Bashar al-Assad's Syrian air defense units. This announcement came from the Chief of Staff and Russian Aerospace Forces commander, Major General Sergei Mescheryakov.  

If readers will recall, following the heavy U.S. cruise missile strike on Assad's  Shayrat Air Base in April 2017 all remaining Syrian combat aircraft were redeployed to Russias Hmeimim Air Base due to its being defended by Russian S-400, S-300, Pantsir S-1 anti-air systems. Recall, if you can, how many additional air strikes Israel conducted in Syria between April 2017 and September 2018. Allow me to respond to my own question: that number is well over 200 strikes. Therefore, the blatantly obvious conclusion is that Russia's blaming Israel for the IL-20M shoot-down is wildly fantastical nonsense. 

Global SITREP B1-18: Will a Coalition of Nations Halt Iran?

Update 27 March 2018: The Houthi barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles against saudi Arabia of about 48 hours ago will result in a retaliation against Iran in the manner and at the time of the GCC alliance and allies choosing. Consultations among allied nations and their forces have been ongoing as noted previously.

It must also be noted that American armored forces, to include M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks, Bradley M2A3 and various M113 armored vehicles recently off loaded from sealift shipping (the MV Liberty Pride, homeport New York, N.Y.) at Jordan's part Aqaba. Image above. This armored force is moving northwards on HET (Heavy Equipment Transport) through Jordan in preparation for the war game exercise Eager Lion 2018. The US-led exercise includes Jordan as the host nation along with Saudi Arabia, the GCC allies and several NATO allies, and will take place at a training site outside of Amman.

21 March 2018: With Syria at a near boilover, attention now turns once again to the Islamic Republic of Iran, or Elam as the prophet Jeremiah referred to it, and Parac (promounced Pa-ras) as the prophet Ezekiel referred to it, and all of which equate to the ancient name for this land, Persia.

As we all are well aware, Iran is a big part of the problem in Syria, and for that matter, in Lebanon and Yemen as well. In keeping with the long-term series on Iran (at least a half dozen of them within Eschatology Today's archives) and with respect to the original posted in September 2010 we've been on the Jeremiah 49:34-39 prophecy for so long most folks very probably know it by heart now.

So, here we are, back to seeing news reports of what Eschatology Today dubbed in SITREP B7:17 as "The Ezekiel Summit." They're meeting again, this week in fact, to ensure total coordination of all military, political and economic aspects of the anti-Iran plan going forward. It looks like rubber should meet road on what has been billed as "the final chance" for Iran when U.S. President Trump is expected to pull the U.S. out of the Iranian nuclear pact. This is based upon the logical assumption of continued European dithering with respect to Iran, nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

So, there is no real surprise that Trump has met privately with the "Sheba and Dedan" coalition partners; it's his way of reinforcing his message to the European partners (UK, France, Germany, EU) that the U.S. perspective is "time's up and game over." The U.S. will execute solo, if ncessary, with our "Sheba and Dedan" allies against Iran. Further updates coming, no doubt, sooner rather than later.

Global SITREP C5-17: The Syrian Situation Revisited Part VII

30 June 2017: Last entry for Part VII. Warfare for control of Quneitra resulted again in the Syrian Army deliberately sending mortar rounds into Israel. No one can be that far off in getting their mortar fire on-target. The IAF response was to immediately obliterate the Syrian mortar position.

Also, within the past 24-hours Russian propaganda media has reported that rebel forces in Daraa plan to use chemical weapons in a manner so as to blame it on the Al-Assad regime and in so doing cause retaliatory US/French air strikes on the regime. This report is an I&W that the Al-Assad regime, backed by Russia and Iran, is likely behind any such event should it actually occur in the stalemated Daraa warzone.

28 June 2017: It turns out that we caught the Syrians red-handed making Sarin at one of the Al -Sha'irat Air Base shelters not destroyed in the Tomahawk attack of two months ago. It looks as if the mixed of precursor chemicals has stopped and Syria has, for the moment at least, backed down. 

Last night, 27 June, the White House issued a warning to Bashar al-Assad's Syrian regime which is identical to the expectation published here (highlighted below) one week ago. The Associated Press published and then updated the White House warning early this morning. 

The warning is based on received, actionable and highly critical intelligence that al-Assad's military was detected preparing precursor chemicals "for a possible sarin gas attack in either the east (or) south of the country." So highly critical, urgent and actionable was the received intelligence that the normal American inter-governmental channels for issuing a direct warning to the Syrian government were bypassed. The warning was direct in stating that both Bashar al-Assad and his military forces would pay a "heavy price" if the chemical attack were to occur.

There is nowhere more south in Syria than the under siege city of Dara'a, and the east of the country is hotly contested by the U.S.-led CJTF-OIR forces against approaching Iranian/Hezbollah and Syrian columns as reported here in the previous parts of this SITREP.


26 June 2017: All eyes on the Golan Heights. A major flare-up could occur here at any moment's notice. Since Saturday the IAF has destroyed a Syrian heavy machine gun bunker and two Syrian Main Battle Tanks, both costing Syrian soldiers their lives.  

20 June 2017: Two noteworthy items. First, Saudi coastal security forces caught a team of IRGC-QF terrorists red-handed in the midst of an operation to blow up several Marjan Oil Field rigs. The Saudi's apprehended one IRGC terrorist team in their explosives-laden watercraft while two other teams managed to escape back into Iranian waters. Such an attack, even though it was thwarted, is an act of war, and serves to illustrate the nearness of Jeremiah 49:34-39 to its literal fulfillment.

Second, as noted earlier in comments, Russia is seriously outgunned by the US in the ongoing showdown in Syria. Also noted in the previous SITREP was the recent forward deployment into Syria of just two U.S. HIMARS rocket artillery system vehicles. Russian squawking about this deployment of two HIMARS 6x6 vehicles illustrates how sensitive they are to their mere presence.

However, two HIMARS vehicles do not constitute an overwhelming offensive juggernaut. So why the Russian angst? Note Russia's recent ultimatum to strike U.S. air or ground assets which located west of the Euphrates River. This is precisely where the HIMARS have been deployed. So, would Russia actually launch strikes against the HIMARS to show their resolve to counter the U.S. build up and make good on their threat? If this is Putin and his generals plan they had better reconsider and recalculate their risk assessment.

For the sake of argument, let's say Russia takes them out. In the U.S. counter-strike we would in a matter of minutes, certainly within an hour's time, take out all of their expensive big boy toys toys at Hmeimim Air Base. The embarked airwing of the USS G.H.W. Bush is a mere 5 minutes away from reaching out and touching those Russian toys, even while in port Haifa, and in a manner that would leave none of them operational. Without their vaunted S300 and S400 air defense systems and an operable runway at Hmeimim Air Base the Russian mission in Syria would effectively be eliminated. Mission incomplete, mission fail. The point is that Russia is severely outgunned in Syria.

Putin feeling froggy? Think he might jump? Not if he's as smart as he thinks he is. President Trump and his senior Pentagon military planners are calling Putin's bluff. Nevertheless, miscalculations do happen and Bible prophecy indicates there may well be a near-term miscalculation in Syria.

F/A-18 Super Hornets

The Eschatology Today predicted event written about in Part V of this series has now occurred and the also predicted new phase of the war in Syria is now a fact. It took almost exactly 30 days for the prediction within the 15 May update of that SITREP to occur in the real-world:

15 May 2017: The two nuclear-armed (US and Russia) opposing armed force coalitions in Syria now appear to be engaged in operations designed to seize and hold territory. This is conventional warfare as we have known it for millennia. The real danger here is the allies with each coalition could engage each other in combat, either deliberately or by accident and particularly in southern and western Syria. In the skies overhead a free-for-all dogfight could also occur between the two sides combat aircraft. And then there's the continuing Iranian-Hezbollah drive to seize the Syrian side of the Golan. This is all stage-setting for the major conflagration this series on the Syrian Situation has been highlighting according to Bible prophecy (Isaiah 17; Jeremiah 49:23-27)

If one were to continue to read the paragraph following the above from that same update and then look at the situation that is now developing just to the north of the "cities of Aroer" of northwestern Jordan, that is, around Dara'a, Syria, and as reinforced in the recent 18 June update in Part VI of this series, one might be able to see how these events are eminently predictable through the literal interpretation of the plain text wording of Isaiah's and Jeremiah's prophetic texts:

I would speculate (actually, I expect) that the Dara'a campaign appears to be falling into an Aleppo-like grind where the Syrian regime's offensive makes no headway resulting in the use of chemical weapons by the al-Assad regime in an attempt to break the stalemate. We all should understand what will result if this does occur as Dara'a lies just 9 miles from the Jordanian border.

So, with this as the lead-in to Part VII of this series, we can hopefully have a better understanding of how these prophecies will come to their literal fulfillment. What is Bible prophecy if not God telling us well in advance what will happen in the future due to the decisions made by the opposing sides in these last days "wars and rumors of wars." 

The critical thing is, these are no longer a hazy or distant future fulfillment of prophetic texts, but fulfillment that we can see occurring now, coming with as little advance notice as a Biblical month of 30 days. We're talking in this series on Syria about literal prophetic fulfillment before it happens, not as occurs from far too many preachers pulpits where the discussion is after the fact. This is utilizing the fulfillment of Bible prophecy as testimony to the inerrant nature of the LORD God's prophetic word. If this is not a here and now witnessing tool, then none exist.
