Global SITREP A2-26: Wars and Rumors Thereof

UPDATED 27 January 2026: CSG-3, imaged above, is the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), USS Frank E. Petersen, Jr. (DDG-121), USS Spruance (DDG-111) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG-112). Not imaged above but part of CSG-3 is an unknown U.S. Navy fast attack submarine. Embarked on CVN-72 is Carrier Air Wing-Nine (CVW-9) and Strike Fighter Squadron-Forty One (VFA-41). CVW-9 is three squadrons of F-35 Lightning II's; VFA-41 are F/A-18F Super Hornets.

The kinetic power of CSG-3 is nothing to mess with but its utilization in a strike on Iran is not yet 100 percent certain. Trump's decision, and he's got two camps of advisors, hawks and diplomats. 

The hawks want a strike by this coming weekend. They argue for the decimation of the IRGC's combat power and that's the peg leg the Twelver regime is standing on. 

The diplomats are said to be holding to a US demand that Iran rid itself of all HEU and end any further enrichment; a limit on the number of ballistic missiles and removal of all support to regional proxy forces in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen.

What's an apocalyptic Twelver regime to do? Eschatology Today believes the Twelver regime will utterly reject such dictates if they decide to talk. And waiting out Trump until CSG-3 sails away is not an option. That leaves kinetic action, a la Venezuela, from the fleet and stealth from over the horizon. Meanwhile, U.S. forces will move to their on-station positions.

4 February 2026: The possibility exists that the current status could drag on for another 13 days, or even longer. 

Recall the Trump "Peace Deal for Gaza." That is what happens when real estate moguls get into "negotiations" with islamic jihadists. A non-starter that breeds perpetual small-scale warfare with an enemy having no intention of complying with terms of the so-called agreement. 

Generational warfare is the result until the jihadists no longer number among the living. The residual is the jihadists ideology strait from their unholy tome which inspires a new generation of fundamentalism and its necessitate jihadism; the cycle repeats as it has for more than 1300 years. The folly of men who think themselves great.

Why does God allow this? Is it part of "the beginning of sorrows" that preceeds the angel Gabriel's prophecy of the 70th Week of Years? Perhaps it is and this is what Eschatology Today currently believes is true. No more 'wash, rinse repeat' because the current high-speed spin cycle is, according to Scripture, the last. We are the "last generation," the Bride of Christ awaiting our elopement with our Groom Jesus Christ.

Global SITREP A8-25: The Terminal Phase of the War Against the Islamic Republic of Iran

Some readers may not have seen this in the archive listing of Eschatology Today posts and SITREP's, so it may serve as both a reminder and new information for all readers. It most certainly is relevant to the present as you will see after reading it.

Global SITREP B3-18: The War Against Iran Escalates: JCPOA Nuclear Deal is Toast

30 April 2018: It was a very bad day for the Islamic Republic of Iran, and if it's any consolation to the Ayatollah, much worse days are yet to come. 

The image above is of the fireball that erupted following a preemptive strike on what had been known as the Syria Arab Army's 47th Brigade base located 7 miles south of Hama in northwestern Syria. The base, which had been occupied by an IRGC militia of Pakistani Shi'a known as Liya Zaynabiyoun, is adjacent to the village of Ma'arin al-Jabal. The "had been" is due to the size of the first and second order detonations; it is unlikely much remains of this base. 

This base itself has been noted by some as a bunker complex. On the contrary, the three massive above ground structures were perfect for housing and/or assembling fairly large ballistic missiles. The largest of the structures, seen in satellite images captured earlier this year, was well over 400 feet in length and 300 feet in width, two relatively smaller structures measured approximately 300 feet in length and 75 feet in width. Eight ancillary buildings were adjacent to the larger ones and could not have escaped the primary and secondary blasts intact.

Accordingly, use of a bunker buster bomb does not fit the above-ground nature of this facility. However, Israel's version of the US Mk-82 laser guided bomb, known as the MP-500 (Massive Penetrator 500 lbs) could have been the weapon of choice to level this facility and leave a gigantic smoking hole in its place.

The main blast registered as a 2.6 Richter scale event on regional seimosgraphs. According to many reports the blast and dozens of simultaneous secondary ordnance detonations killed or wounded a very large number of the Pakistani Shi'a militiamen who apparently had duty safeguarding two hundred Iranian ballistic missiles destined for delivery to Lebanese Hezbollah. That delivery has obviously been cancelled. Additional strikes are reported to have occurred at bases near Aleppo, but they do not even remotely compare to what happened at Ma'arin al-Jabal at 10:30 PM Sunday night.

Then came Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's equally massive nuclear bombshell regarding the Iranian nuclear weapons program. To be short and sweet on this issue, this intelligence coup makes preemptive strikes on the Iranian nuclear weapons sites more likely than not. The nonsensical JCPOA that Obama and Kerry masterminded is now just so much burnt toast. We'll find out how burnt it is in about 12 days time.

It also must be noted that the Israeli human intelligence collection operation which secured the hundreds of thousands of documents and digital data is unlike anything any nation has achieved in modern history. A close second intelligence coup might be the Polish engineer during WWII who memorized the Nazi "Enigma" cryptographic machine's impossibly complex inner workings so that allied engineers could reporoduce it in England. However, even the Enigma machine pales in comparison the the details exposed by the Israeli operation.

And as US President Trump prepares to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Eschatology Today would be completely remiss to not note one important detail revealed by PM Netanyahu. The Iranian warhead design appears to be virtually identical to the primary core that Kim Jong Un was photographed standing next to not too long ago. As has long been maintained here, the North Korean and Iranian nuclear programs have been conjoined twins for decades.

UPDATE 1 May 2018: If you've not yet seen the entirety of PM Netanyahu's presentation on the Islamic Republic of Iran's "Project Amad," please make the effort to do so as what I am adding as an update will bring all of his revealed information full-circle and bring full understanding on why Iran has been dead set on the development nuclear weapons.

The Iranian development of nuclear weapons has always been 100% about Shi'a Islamic eschatology. In fact, the name of their effort, which PM Netanyahu revealed as "Project Amad" is actually over-anglicized from the Farsi language and should be "Project Amahd." "Project Amahd" itself is actually Farsi shorthand for its true name, "Project al-Mahdi." Many of you are now likely having a light bulb illuminating in your minds because you are aware that the mythical al-Mahdi is central to much of the Islamic creed. For Shi'a Islami, the al-Mahdi is ground zero for all of their eschatological beliefs.

The focus here will not be on the mythical man who is this Shi'a messianic figure, but what his adherents, known as Hojjatieh and Twelvers, believe. For them the al-Mahdi is the foundation of everything they believe. And what they believe is the utility of nuclear weapons in quickly achieving their end-state objective in hastening the al-Mahdi's reappearance once they possess such weapons. Israel knows this, and the U.S. Government ever since the Clinton Administration has known this. Now we all know this.

A few brief points on what the Shi'a believe and are acting on. The Iranian Shi'a Twelvers, who are 85% of Shi'a Islam, all believe that the Sunni Muslims will make war on the al-Mahdi. So Iran has been at war with Sunni Islam for some time due to this belief. 

The Iranian Shi'a Twelvers also believe - and this explains perfectly why Iran is so invested in the Syrian Civil War - that a great war must occur in Syria until the country is completely destroyed. A similar rationale exists for the country of Iraq. The Shi'a Twelvers, such as former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his clique of Hojjatieh clerics believe that provoking nuclear war with Israel or America will hasten al-Mahdi's reappearance; such chaos is critical to this end. If the Islamic Republic of Iran acquires nuclear weapons, such as the five weapons PM Netanyahu cited, they will use them.

Now you should have full understanding on why the U.S. and Israel, and a precious few other nations, particularly Saudi-led GCC, see the imperative necessity of preempting Iranian acquisition of nuclear weapons even if it means launching strikes into Iran.

Russia-Iran Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty

UPDATE 22 April 2025: Eschatology Today believes that the events of the past three days effectively signal that the critical moment of the Jeremiah 49:34-39 prophecy is now at hand. Do not be dismayed if you missed notification of the events, the vast majority of the media deliberately attempted to keep you in the dark. However, that's why I and some other watchmen are here!

Saturday night Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu issued a video recorded speech. Although advance notice was given of the speech the vast majority of Israel's left-wing media outlets declined to air the speech in full. Some even declared it unworthy of the airtime required to present it in full, while others obfuscated the critical point of the speech completely. Nevertheless, the critical point in the speech came when the PM said that while he greatly preferred a joint strike by the US and Israel to neuter the Iranian nuclear program, Israel is prepared to go it alone.

The response to PM Netanyahu from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin came yesterday morning when he officially signed (ratified) the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty (CSTP) between Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This "covenant" between Russia and Iran is effectively a comprehensive alliance geared toward their military and diplomatic agendas. It is a direct challenge to Israel and the United States intended to forestall joint or unilateral military action against Iran's nuclear program. 

Leaning forward, Eschatology Today assesses that the CSTP will fail its intended purpose but will ultimately result in the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38/39. Put another way in full, the CSTP will fail to preempt the fulfillment of Jeremiah 49:34-39 but will result thereafter in the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38/39. In-between these two fulfillments are the fulfillments of Isaiah 17 and the conclusion of the Psalm 83 war, both currently in a process of fulfillment.

Four B2 Spirit Stealth Bombers on Standby

UPDATED 29 March 2025: On 7 March the United States of America delivered an ultimatum to the Islamic Republic of Iran: Within 60 days you will enter into negotiations for a new nuclear deal, or else. 

A very stealthy and lethal part of the 'or else' are now sitting on a tarmac at Diego Garcia island in the Indian Ocean (image above). For those who've not been following the 60-day countdown, it will expire during the first week of May 2025, and that is when "bad, bad things will happen for Iran."

30 March: Iran has threatened to attack the Chagos Islands where Diego Garcia island is located with the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT). For Iran there is no distinction between US and UK forces based there.

31 March: Ari Larijani, the top advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, has said Iran will have no choice but to produce nuclear weapons if attacked by the US.

3 April: Eschatology Today years ago advanced an interpretive exegesis of Jeremiah 49:34-39 which involved a coalition of nations initiating strikes against the Twelver Regime. 

Currently the US, UK and Israel are prepared to strike to preempt the Iranian nuclear weapons program following the unilateral raid conducted by Israel in 2024 that hit both air defense capabilities and a key nuclear site Iran believed no one knew about.

Now France is warning of the "inevitability" of military strikes should diplomatic efforts to secure an agreement fail. The French statement mirrors that of President Trump's statements in recent days and may be seen as being consistent with the aforementioned 60-day countdown. The U.S. countdown now has approximately 30 days remaining.

4 April: President Trump recently made a specific point to Ukraine's President Zelenskyy about his not having the 'cards' to play against Russian President Vladimir Putin in either a military or diplomatic effort to end the war. The gambit was with the United States at Ukraine's side (along with Ukrainian rare earth materials) Ukraine would have American 'cards" to play in securing Ukraine's future as an independent country.

There are two great conflicts on the earth at this time aside from the Middle East. The first is the War in Ukraine (Europe) and the Communist Chinese threat to wage war by invading and annexing Taiwan (Western Pacific). However, make no mistake that the Middle East is the conflict with the high potential to determine the outcome of war in Europe and the Western Pacific. 

The impending conflict between the US (with UK, FR and IL) and the Islamic Republic of Iran will prove whether or not President Trump really possesses the 'cards' or if he is about to overplay his hand. Should Trump's threat for "bad, bad things" fail to materialize for Iran next month then both Russia and the Chinese would be correct to assess that the cards in Trump's hand are nothing more than a brinksmanship bluff (Trump has pledged to be a peace president and not a war-starting president) and they could press on with their national agendas of using overwhelming kinetic force to achieve their desired objectives (the military conquests of Ukraine and Taiwan).

Eschatology Today assesses that President Trump is NOT bluffing. The ongoing build-up of overwhelming American warfighting capability in the CENTCOM AOR, in particularly the several B-2 Spirit stealth bombers carrying two each 30,000 lb. Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs to crack open Iranian mountain redoubts housing nuclear and missile depots is not an idle threat. There can be no retreat from "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon." Russia and the 'kings of the East' are watching intently. So are we.

8 April 2025: Why are these B-2 bombers not inside the hangers designed for them? Because American generals want the overhead satellites and Iran "to see our sword." They carry the most potent non-nuclear weapons in the American inventory and are impervious to Iranian air defense, or what is left of it. And, if necessary, they can carry nukes too, a lot of them.

I24 news (Israel) just reported that the US propsal to Iran is akin to the Libyan nuclear disarmament accepted by Muamar Kadhaffi years ago and which preceded the coup d'etat which overthrew his regime and resulted in his death.

The US will allow Iran to keep nuclear power for civilian use (Bushehr NPP), but its weapons program, including uranium enrichment, must be shut down and 100% dismantled or it will be destroyed in place. Iran has less than a month to accept or reject the options. Iran accepting the "Libyan option" is considered unlikely.

UPDATE 9 April 2025: The logo designed to celebrate Israel's 77th year of existence is scheduled for official release in early May. Coincidentally, or possibly not so, the timing of the release is concurrent with the terminus of Iran's 60-day warning period to unilaterally terminate their nuclear weapons program or have it terminated by force of arms as foretold by the LORD's prophet Jeremiah (Yirmĭyāhu).

In other news, the lead prosecutor of the government of Argentina has solicited the country's Supreme Court to issue an arrest warrant for Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei over the terrorist bombing of the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires. Argentinian investigators have solid evidence of Iran's responsibility for that terrorist attack. Argentina under the leadership of President Javier Milei has become one of Israel's strongest allies.

Israel has completed the division of Gaza into three zones. 

The Netzarim Corridor slices completely through the strip south of Gaza City; the Morag Corridor slices through between Khan Younis and Rafah, and the Philadelphi Corridor divides Gaza from Egypt south of Rafah. 

Annexation of the parcels of land to Israel proper between these corridors will fully reverse the 2005 disengagement by the late-Ariel Sharon government.

Global SITREP B9-24: Striking the Bow and Bringing the Sword

UPDATED 16 October 2024: The IDF is actively shaping the battlefield, not only in Lebanon but also in the Golan Heights where since 1 October new forward positions have been created, and operation to remove landmines have been largely completed. Use the clickable map below for reference as we move forward.

UNDOF ZONE

Notice the direct connection the UNDOF (United Nations Disengagement Observer Force) Zone has between Lebanon's eastern border, Syria's southern border and a small section of Jordan's northern border. The western border of the zone is known as the A Line and it functions as Israel's de facto border with Syria; the eastern border is Syria's de facto border with Israel separated by UNDOF troop deployments along its entire length since its institution at the end of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The 1,080 international troops deployed in the zone, in order of contingent size, are Nepal, Uruguay, India, Fiji and Kazakhstan with a handful each from Ghana, Ireland, Bhutan and the Czech Republic.

It is important to note this as Jeremiah 49:26 foretells dire a result for men in general and soldiers ("all the men of war"). Eschatology Today is of the opinion that this verse dovetails with Isaiah 17:12-13. Even a cursory reading these prophetic Scriptures informs as to the reason for the coming dire circumstance which forces their hasty departure.

There is also, as we've noted previously, a reason for the forward push into the Golan, and that would be to flank Hezbollah from the east in southern Lebanon, possibly to in preempt or interdict a mass evacuation of their forces northward. Some reports indicate that Kata'ib Hezbollah (Iraqi Shi'a militia) may have been instructed to forgo engaging in combat with the IDF. This is likely a very temporary situation if accurate.

In the meantime, sand is rapidly falling into the bottom of the proverbial hourglass marking how soon Israel will pounce to strike the bow and bring its very capable sword upon the Iranian Twelver regime. A paradigm changing event to be sure.

18 October 2024: An IDF armored reconnaissance unit engaged in a firefight with three HAMAS terrorists Wednesday, 16 October. The unit was unaware that one of the three combatants was Yahya Sinwar. Sinwar was attempting to flee from Rafah to the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone on the Mediterranean Sea when spotted by the IDF recon force. A Merkava IV MBT fired a single round into the impromptu hideaway (a house) which ultimately killed the HAMAS leader. He was also found to have bullet wounds to his head and chest.

Suspecting explosive charges in the immediate area the IDF waited until Thursday to search and clear the area before accessing the site. The image above was released by the IDF; it shows IDF troops standing over the deceased Sinwar. Sinwar's identity was confirmed by DNA testing. Subsequent searching of the immediate area did not locate any of the Israeli hostages nor any sign of their presence. Many media reports had long insisted the Israeli hostages were surrounding Sinwar as human shields. Islamic radicals will almost certainly hail Yahya Sinwar as a martyr who died in direct battle with the IDF. Sinwar is gone but the war is not over in Gaza.

Flight of two B-2 Spirit stealth bombers

In a direct warning to Iran the United States deployed long-range B2 Spirit stealth bombers to destroy five hardened weapons depots in a Houthi-controlled region of Yemen on October 17. The depots contained missiles and other weapons used by the Houthis to attack commercial and military ships in the Red Sea and missiles that targeted Israel. It is unknown if the Spirit's departed from CONUS or from a forward base of operations to conduct the strike. It is very likely the first American use of the B-2 in combat since 2017 and the first operational strike mission employing the GBU-57 MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator), a 27,125-pound weapon which can penetrate over 200 feet deep into earth and reinforced concrete bunkers. Each Spirit carries two MOPs. The Spirit's mission and weapon chosen were clearly a powerful message to the Islamic Republic of Iran which now understands that destruction of its Natanz nuclear site is clearly within the capability set of American B-2's armed either with the GBU-57 or newer GBU-57 F/B variants, or the newest GBU-72B, a 5,000-pound all-weather precision strike bunker buster weapon. It is no accident this strike on the Houthis and their Iranian-made weapons occurred as Israel is an advanced stage of their own and very imminent air assault on Iranian targets...

Moshiach Patch on IDF Uniform

UPDATE 22 October 2024: The Moshiach (Messiah) patch below the Israel 'Star of David' flag patch was taken off a soldiers arm by CoS Herzi HaLevi and placed in his pocket, close to his heart. 

This Messiah Crown patch has caused quite a stir in Israel, with some opining that to Christian and Jewish Messianic soldiers it honors Jesus Messiah, the King of Israel. 

To others it honors the Orthodox Moshiach; that it is a symbol of the IDF being the army of God (Ezekiel 37). 

Others opine that since the patch is officially non-approved it belongs in a pocket, close to the soldiers heart. 

And a very, very small minority of secular Israelis have nothing but disdain for the patch because they reject all messiahs at face value.

The wearing of non-approved uniform patches is widespread among virtually all of the world's armies; most commanders allow them as morale boosters. The US military is among them, particularly the DTOM and Punisher patches.

Global SITREP A8-24: The War in the North Part III

UPDATED 22 April 2024/14 Nisan 5784: We begin SITREP A8-24 and Part III of this series on Erev Pesach ('Eve of Passover') by noting once again that nothing was resolved in the recent strike/counter-strike between Israel and the Twelver regime currently in power in Iran. 

On the surface the demand upon Israel's War Cabinet led by PM Bibi Netanyahu government to defer from escalation of the war primarily lies with the Biden Administration and certain European countries. To these demands Netanyahu's coalition war cabinet reluctantly agreed to abide, despite calls from the powerful Religious Zionist faction in the Knesset to strike the Twelver Regime's military assets far more decisively than what took place. And in Gaza, Israel's supposed allies (I use the term loosely) have so manipulated that aspect of the war that had they not done so HAMAS and its terrorist Gazan allies would have ceased to exist months ago.

However, the true fact of the matter is that Almighty God had no such appointment for this past week, or in weeks now passed for such decisive moments in this war, meaning that the process of fulfillment for a host of prophetic texts appointed times continues on the path He has determined from ancient times. 

Again, on the surface there is zero indication that the Shi'a Twelver's have abandoned their apocalyptic eschatological beliefs, and on Israel's part the determination to prevail over all of the surrounding enemies remains as strong as ever. In sum this indicates that West Asia (i.e. Middle East) remains on the precipice of tremendous conflict, the result of which we know so very clearly through Scripture. Put another way, the current status quo is most obviously unsustainable, even in the short-term and particularly for Eretz Israel which is still reeling from the greatest and bloodiest tragedy since the founding of the State of Israel almost 76 years ago, not to mention the dozens of Israeli civilians still held hostage by the jihadists who remain in Gaza.

UPDATE 3 MAY 2024: The IAF says it struck a Hezbollah base south of Damascus International Airport late yesterday, but Syria claims the base was that of its own army and eight Syrian soldiers were casualties in the strike. The IAF continues daily strikes on Hezbollah in southern Lebanon as Hezbollah, or their allies, fire rockets into Israel also on a daily basis. The IDF intercepted and destroyed three rockets yesterday. The final IDF Gaza offensive in Rafah and and movement into Lebanon remain imminent as has ben discussed here. 

The War in the North, much further north in Ukraine, is dangerously close to becoming a Russia vs NATO war. French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his comments of earlier this year in an interview with The Economist of not ruling out the deployment of the French Army into Ukraine. In the UK Cameron says they have no issue with Ukraine using long-range rockets to target sites deep within Russia.

President Macron listed two primary criteria for such a deployment of his army: 1) Russian troops break through the contiguous Ukrainian defensive lines in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts or open new fronts in the Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts of eastern Ukraine, and 2) the Ukrainian government in Kyiv requests their intervention. This month will be critical for Ukraine as Russia presses its offensive while the Ukrainian forces are at the moment greatly out-gunned and short on manpower while waiting on the billions of dollars in game-changing U.S. approved weaponry and supplies to arrive on the front lines. 

Additionally, the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) claims that Russia has been using banned chemical weapons in its assaults on hardened Ukrainian defenses. These claims are confirmed the Ukraine's general staff. This comes at the same time as the Geneva Convention claims Russia is in blatant violation and committing the war crime of executing Ukrainian troops who make clear attempts to surrender. It is clear that the Russian Federation under Vladimir Putin has abandoned its earlier claims of its invasion of Ukraine was a "Special Military Operation" and now openly declares that the war in Ukraine is "total war." We have here a clear and present danger of a NATO-Russia clash that could quickly morph into a World War III in Europe.

Global SITREP B6-23: A Disaster in the Making

 

UPDATED 25 May 2023: As posted here recently, the legion of Indications and Warnings (I&W) for a major event occurring in Iran continue apace. 

The civilian insurrection against the Twelver regime has ramped up despite, and in fact due to the numerous death sentences carried out against captured protestors. Voices within Israel say direct support to the civilian protestors is the best course of action. Were it not for the apocalyptic Twelver's nearly realized nuclear weapons ambition, this would be an excellent course of action, and in truth, is likely in-progress. However, it's not enough to cork the nuclear genie in a bottle. 

The prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 indicates both a civil uprising and external swords being brought against the Twelver regime. This is a relatively long-term process of the Lord's declared judgment being meted out; to be sure it is a near-term yet drawn-out catastrophe for Iran. As as Jeremiah's prophetic Scripture makes clear, the ancient province of Elam is ground zero for the unfolding judgment. For their part, the Twelver's recently reiterated that any military attack upon their nuclear facilities and defense installations will result in all-out war. The regime is woefully ignorant of the Lord's hand holding against the "foremost of their might." A rude awakening and ultimate cause dismay among the regime's clerics.

UPDATE 27 May 2023: Eschatology Today noted quite some time ago that the prophecies regarding present day Iran found in Jeremiah 49:34-39 (as Elam) and Ezekiel 38:5 (as Paras/Persia) are distinct prophecies. It is time to make the prophetic distinction clearer than it has been until now.

In Jeremiah the prophecy is very specific in naming that part of modern Iran which was ancient Elam. Ancient Elam occupied a large portion of southwestern Iran. It is where Iran's nuclear crown jewel is located at Bushehr, and several other of Iran's clandestine nuclear sites are also located. When Israel's leadership decides to strike and neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat, as was done in Iraq (1981 at Osirak south of Baghdad) and Syria (Al Kibar, Deir Ez-Zor province) previously, the region of ancient Elam will be the focus. This region in total encompasses the provinces of Bushehr, Fars, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Lorestan and Ilam. 

As Jeremiah's prophecy makes clear, this is where Iran's judgment through military action (the sword) begins. This is where the foremost of their military might is located. Much of the rest of Iran's external military power as controlled by the IRGC Qods Force (QF) is itemized in the below graphic.

The strikes upon Iran will undoubtedly bring proxy responses against Israel from Syria (Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49:23-27), Lebanon, Gaza and the fifth column proxies in Judea and Samaria (Psalm 83, Isaiah 11:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26). Jordan will also join in with this group of enemies. They all lose this war badly, some cease to exist as nations, others become vassal states. The overall sum of these prophetic fulfillments results in the prophetic narrative concerning Israel found in Ezekiel 38/39. 

That sum boils down to Israel, immediately prior to the 70th Week of Years, dwelling safe and secure, without walls, bars or gates and not even considering the losses endured by Russia in its long-term military investments in Syria. Ezekiel 38/39 is a very brief war of retribution and as an attempt to conquer and plunder Israel. Ezekiel 38:5 is where we find Iran (as Paras) a militarily reduced Iran at that, with Libya (Puwt) and Sudan (Kûwsh), and which may include Horn of Africa nations as well. Iran at this time is not a major power and is lumped in with other minor powers like Puwt and Kûwsh in support of the the primary force, a coalition of what remains of the Russian military and its Caucasian and Central Asian allies.

In Jeremiah 49, there does not appear to be a nuclear war element, although the radiation released from strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities will cause a mass exodus to locations around the globe. In Ezekiel 38/39 there's no question about it - nuclear exchanges are certainly a part of that brief war against the participants in it.

Global SITREP F6-21: The Current Situation Part III

27 July 2021: If you've read the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39, and followed a decades worth of interpretive updates on the Eschatology Today blog, then the image above should be a great interest to you. Ancient Elam is both a prophetic reference to the ancient kingdom known by that name, and of the modern-day Islamic Republic of Iran.

The present day Iranian province of Khuzestan occupies the lion's share of the territory of ancient Elam. Of important note at this time are the numerous reports and videos found on many websites, except for those of "woke" and world socialist-obedient American corporate media, the popular uprising that began in this region and has spread to many provinces to the north of Khuzesta. These reports and videos powerfully highlight the prophetic precision found in Jeremiah 49, verses 37c and 38: 

"And I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them. I will set my throne in Elam, and from there destroy the king and the princes," says the Lord.

Protests, now in their 13th day, even in Tehran.

If this subject were not of particular importance at this time it woud not merit a mention on Eschatology Today. The now 13 days of uprisings which began on 16 July among the non-Persian peoples who inhabit most of western Iran, beginning with the Ahvaz Arabs of Khuzestan, and moving northwards to include the Kurdish and the Azeri peoples all the way up to the northern city of Tabriz.

These uprisings across all provinces are directed at the regime of Twelver clerics and have been exacerbated by a long, acute drought, unrelenting economic devastation caused by direct military control of the IRGC (Iranian currency is virtually worthless), chronic unemployment, rampant COVID-19 pandemic, incessant power outages, has even the people in the capital of Tehran (image above) screaming for the overthrow of the regime. The regime's response - the usual Basij goon squads firing live ammo into the crowds. Four young men were murdered yesterday by IRGC direct fire in Ahvaz. 

The greatest fear right now among IRGC commanders not not being ordered into Syria or to make war against Israel, rather it is being ordered into the western cities of Iran to restore regime control. These commanders fear the seething hatred of the Arab, Kurdish and Azeri-speaking population as well as all other major cities joining the anti-regime revolt in support of the people in Khuzestan.

No one except Eschatology Today appears willing to give Jeremiah his due for prophesying with exacting clarity what is now taking place 2,600 years ago.

Global SITREP F6-21: The Current Situation Part III is not just about the prophetic goings-on in the Islamic Republic of Iran. How many recall what occurred in your own town as the CCP COVID-19 biologial warfare made its most unwelcome presence felt? You went to the supermarket one day just 16 months ago and found many empty shelves in empty aisles, especially the paper products aisle, but very quickly all commodities were either unavailable or in very short supply. Signs were posted announcing "LIMIT - ONE PER CUSTOMER" when something was available. 

This experience we have all had has been a very mild harbinger of what is to come as we know from The Apocalypse (Revelation) of Jesus Christ, Chapter 6 about the our Lord's opening of the Seals on the Scroll. The First Seal opened brought Antichrist who was given a crown as a false messiah riding on a white horse and he went out conquering and to conquer. The Second Seal was the rider on a red horse which brings world war. And the Third Seal is opened and a black horse sybolizing the direct result of war: tremendous scarcity of food for survival and the exorbiant financial cost to buy the sustenance that is available, (i.e. supply and demand)! Imagine it, two days wages at the current government mandated minimum wage, and thus the reference here as of today is around $250 for perhaps a day or two of the most basic foodstuff for a family of four - or more. And then the Fourth Seal is opened, a pale horse ridden by Death, followed by Hades, emerges that overtakes one-fourth of the earth.

And what caused the shortages of commodities we recently experienced in 2020? The CCP biowarfare agent COVID-19, which was financed by globalists and released upon the world. It was no accident! So, the first victim of this biological warfare dry-run was not a human being, it was the extremely fragile global supply chain. And the world was warned of this pandemic and its costs by the same globalists who financed and set it loose like a wildfire among the global population, Still, to this day the price of buidling materials, tools, aluminum, chemicals, beef and other food products - you name it - has been increased to levels never seen before. Production bottlenecks caused by workers who could not go to work, manufacturing and delivery systems which failed completely for the same reason. Millions of people sequestered in their homes, forced to wear masks to inhale repeatedly that which God, in His infinite omniscience, had designed human beings to exhale immediately. And you know what, this is but a tip of the proverbial iceberg. You know it and I know it, and so do the globalists know it because they planned it.

Yet, there is the blessed hope of the Harpazo when our Lord Jesus Christ will appear in the clouds with the shout of the archangel for us to "Come Up Hither!" If you are one of the Bride of Christ, none of the above will affect you in any way because at that unknown moment soon to occur Jesus is coming to save you from it and to be with Him forevermore. Make Jesus your Lord and Savior today!

Things are going from bad to worse not only in the Islamic Republic of Iran, but also in the People's Republic of China where they also have state-controlled media that admits nothing to its enslaved population, much less to the world-at-large. Flooding, one of primary signs given by Jesus Christ in His Olivet Discourse regarding the 'last days' is causing such disasters in that country that boggle the mind. Imagine the land you live in receiving 10 years worth of rain in just one year. This has happened and is happening in Communist China. The CCP has billions to feed and that's not happening with major crop failures due to the flooding caused by incessant rains, and dams cracking, buckling and outright failing due to the pressure of rising waters they were not designed to withstand. Three Gorges Dam is in danger red territory and the people living downstream are literally living on borrowed time. As the saying goes, borrowed time is never paid back. 

So, how does the CCP deal with this? Those who know say to watch for war with India, Taiwan, or both to distract and divert attention.

Global SITREP F3-21: The Current Situation

 

At the ready...

UPDATE 02 July 2021: There are two other dire situations to report. No great surprise, both involve Communist China. OSINT reports for both are available at The Sun and The WSJ, among others sites. In a nutshell, the "kings of the East" appear to be ready to rumble like never before.

The first situation, but not most important, is that Communist China intends to launch a three-phase attack on Taiwan (Nationalist China) prior to a seaborne invasion of the island. The three phases are ballistic missiles strikes, followed by cruise missile strikes, followed by missile strikes by the ChiCom navy (PLAN) and air force (PLAF) on Taiwanese military bases of all types. These attacks will be followed up by waves of amphibious land invasion forces. Will Biden look the other way? Can he afford to considering U.S. pledges to defend Taiwan from Communist aggression? The risks to other U.S. defense agreements with South Korea, Japan, Australia and SEATO countries are incalcuably enormous if Biden balks.

An equally important focus of Chinese military aggression is against India. There are now hundreds of thousands of ChiCom and Indian troops with their most lethal weaponry now toe to toe across the common border between the two Asian giants, both of whom are nuclear armed. An additional fifty-thousand troops from each nation have just been deployed. Needless for Eschatology Today to point out the risks involved in such a conflict. The most obvious issue here is that the CCP appears to have determined it has amassed enough military power to fight wars on both its eastern and western borders simultaneously.

29 June 2021: It would be too easy for Eschatology Today to simply state that what was forecast in the immediately preceding SITREPs is now the current situation. And that would be correct, however, there is more to cover that has not be put to print here thus far.

The prophetic collapse of the regime currently holding power in the Islamic Republic of Iran is well underway. The clerics in Tehran have done everything within their power to prevent a collapse caused by external forces, both military and economic, (i.e. military and economic warfare, or "swords"). We know this, or at a minimum we should all know because it has been the "news of the day" form 2017 to today and into the coming days. Those who don't know this are seculars or have no use for the Word of God. 

And what the clerics have no chance of forestalling is the fulfillment of the prophetic Word of God. Jeremiah 49:34-39 is very clear on how this regime will be brought down. That process has been ongoing since 2017 and has gained an increasing momentum ever since. 

Verse 37 is the proverbial nutshell of what is happening as we have seen in real time over the past 48 months:

For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies
And before those who seek their life.
I will bring disaster upon them,
My fierce anger,’ says the Lord;
‘And I will send the sword after them
Until I have consumed them.

Disasters have befallen the Islamic Republic incessantly, and they cover all bases -- natural, military, economic and even rebellion among the masses of the Iranian people. Oh, yes, the clerics are dismayed in the extreme and, as we have also seen in real-time, the Twelver tendency is to reach too far in vain attempts that bring only more disaster upon them. It's like a vice where the pressure is ever increasing and unrelenting.

The situation in Iran is so dire that the recent bogus national election installed a Twelver jurist, Ebrahim Raisi, who is so extreme he makes a former president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, look like a girl scout in comparison. This installation was done at the direction of Ayatollah Khamenei and his sycophant loyalists to threaten Israel and the West at-large. 

On top of this we also know that the IRGC Intelligence Service, a/k/a the Ministry of Intelligence established in 2009 and led by MG Hossein Salami, have taken direct and total control of the Islamic Republic. In theory Major General Salami and his underlings are answerable only to the Ayatollah, but that remains to be seen. In this case it's he who has the guns and the gold who makes the rules, and not for long it would seem. 

The Iranian regime's 43-year tenure of it's formerly independent jurist Expediency Council, also known as the "Vilayat-e-Faqih," has been unceremoniously transitioned into the dust bin of history. The Expediency Council been superceded by what is now clearly to be seen as the Iranian Intelligence State. This type of internal drama is historically what takes place within any regime that is crumbling due to pressures both internal and external.

In Israel a new 21st century airborne weapon system has made its debut according to journalist Seth Frantzman. Ten days ago the Israeli MoD completed a successful series of interception tests of a high-power laser system developed by Elbit Sysems and the IAF. No surprise, the system is known as the HPL-WS (High Power Laser Weapon System) and it brought down multiple UAVs (drones) at various ranges and altitudes. 

The really bad news for Israel's enemies in the sky is that the HPL-WS is inexpensive to fire and cannot run out of ammunition, and will be improved in power and performance in the months ahead. Interestingly, the HPL-WS test was conducted from a small Cessna aircraft! The HPL-WS will ultimately save countless and costly Iron Dome missiles from having to engage low-tech armed UAVs and/or balloon incendiary devices. 

The HPL-WS is yet another feather in the IAFs war bonnet right along side the increasing fleet of F-35I Adir stealth aircraft. Pity the near-future airborne invaders who want to take plunder from Israel, they won't stand a chance against game-changers such as these.

In another confirmation of Eschatology Today's immediate after-action analysis of the IDF's "Operation Guardian of the Walls" in mid-May [SITREPs E10-21 (Part I) F2-21 (Part II)], Israel Defense.co.il published an article on 25 June stating that the war did not end; it "appears to have been just the first round of a war which is expected to resume in the coming months with an even greater intensity." 

The rationale offered by the Israel Defense article hinges of the fact that neither Israel nor the terrorist forces in Gaza (HAMAS and PIJ) realized the goals they sought to achieve. Israel did not achieve the objective of an enduring calm, and the terrorists did not achieve a new equation in its war against Israel, and instead paid an exorbitant price in combat capabilities, the long-standing leadership that was eliminated and tremendous gains in civil infrastructure paid for in the billions by Gulf Arab states like Qatar and the UAE. 

Still, the terrorists remain spoiling for a fight, and Israel can no longer tolerate the incessant threat to its civilian population. Neither side will concede anything further, so the return to a potentially final armed struggle beckons. The next act of this war is very likely to see Israel as the initiator of renewed hostilities which will rapidly escalate into total war, just as prophecied by Isaiah 11 and Ezekiel 28.

So, Watchmen, return to the walls and cry Marana'tha!

Global SITREP D8-21: Israel Going Alone vs Iran?

28 January 2021: The map above illustrates one of the most critical combatant commands of the U.S. armed forces, the Central Command Area Of Responsibility.  One of the astute things President Trump did during recent weeks, January 14th to be precise, was to transfer Israel from the European Command (USEUCOM) to the Central Command (CENTCOM). Today, the CENTCOM Commander, General Kenneth McKenzie, Jr., USMC, visited Israel and met with IDF commander General Aviv Kochavi.

Nuclear-armed Israel is now an integral part of not only the CENTCOM AOR and US military policy in the whole of southwest Asia, but also a part of the Israel-Sunni military bloc standing against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This military bloc not only has repercussions for Iran, but also for the Iranian Houthi proxy in Yemen, with which the Sunni bloc has been at war with for a few years now.

The bellicosity coming from Iran as a direct result of this shift took an ominous tone today when the Iranian military spokesman, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi threated to "level Haifa and Tel Aviv" at the "slightest mistake" made by Israel. Shekarchi's statement was in response to General Kochavi's severe public warning concerning Israel's determination to "go it alone" against Iran if necessary and briefly outlined the IDF's training and mission-oriented contingency planning to strike Iranian nuclear weapons infrastructure. Them's fightin' words folks, no if's, and's or but's about it.

Israel's determination and willingness to strike is based upon the knowledge that Iran, having made public its decision to enrich its stockpile of uranium to twenty percent - and therefore become within reach of weapons grade uranium and nuclear weapons capability by spring 2021. 

Additionally, Israel is dead set against the Biden Administration's much talked about plans to return to the defunct JCPOA, regardless if any improvements or modifications to the agreement. The Biden Administration says it would go forward only if Iran were to roll back its advances of the past two years to conform within the JCPOA limits set in 2015. That roll-back would take time, more time than it would take Iran to race forward and produce its nuclear weapon. According to General Kochavi's statements, that is a risk Israel and all of its allies in the region, including the US CENTCOM, cannot take.

Therefore, to answer to question posed in the title of this SITREP, Israel would not be forced to "go it alone" because the threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon is just as much an existential threat to Haifa and Tel Aviv as it would be to Bahrain, the UAE or even Saudi Arabia. As Eschatology Today has maintained for the past eight years that the Iranian nuclear program faces a military coalition of nations ranged against it per the interpretation of Jeremiah 49:34-39. 

Here's a "what if." What if an Israeli-led strike take place. Would Iran not make good on it's pledge to level Haifa and Tel Aviv? Would it not make use of proxy forces in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq in a retaliation? If so, then there would be the likelihood of the dominoes scenario of Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 falling into place. And folks think 2020 was bad.

Global SITREP C1-20: Rumors of War Part V

Israel Knows Iran's Nuclear Secrets

10 July 2020: The lead item in 'Rumors of War Part IV' concerned what was initially believed to be sabotage at Iranian nuclear weapons and delivery systems facilities. Now Eschatology Today knows enough to fill in some of the blanks.

In the past two weeks (26 June to today) there has been a total of six major attacks on the the Iranian Twelver regime's nuclear and related ballistic missile delivery systems sites. These attacks have been a mix consisting of sabotage by an Iranian 5th column who are anti-regime military members self-identified as "Homeland Cheetah's," state-of-the-art cyber warfare and airstrikes. The cyber and air attacks are strongly believed to be attributable to the ever-increasing reach and lethality of  Israel's military forces, specifically its cyber warfare and F-35I Adir stealth strike aircraft. Of course it goes without saying that Israel officially neither confirms or denies any role in these attacks (wink, wink).

However, analysis of these strikes provides abundant evidence that their occurrence involved the significant resources and capabilities of a nation state. The sheer precision of the strikes strongly indicates they were guided in good measure by the treasure trove of intelligence taken from the Tehran vault penetrated by Israel's clandestine operatives which PM Bibi Netanyahu revealed to the world not so long ago (image above).

For example, an attack on the Natanz nuclear site (ICAC) all but obliterated, perhaps permanently, the production of Iran's newest IR-9 nuclear centrifuges which would provide Iran the capability enrich uranium at 50 times that which the IR-1 centrifuges permitted under the JCPOA "Obama nuclear agreement." With operational IR-9 centrifuges Iran would have had enough weapons grade fissile material for a live warhead within few weeks (less than 8, but more than four). Still, this attack retards Iran's ongoing uranium enrichment program by a mere two years according to Western subject matter experts.

The initial 26 June attack on the highly classified and simply massive Parchin nuclear and ballistic missile complexes caused extensive destruction to large sections. In fact, entire facilities were instantly turned into dust and debris. The other four attacks hit targets in Tehran, Kahrizak, Ahvaz and Shiraz that Iran claimed were for civilian purposes and were in residential areas of the cities struck. We can attribute this Iranian Twelver claim to equate to a tacit admission of using civilian infrastructure in the furtherance of its nuclear weapons programs. Put another way, Israel knows Iran's nuclear secrets so much so that they can't even hide them in plain sight. Again, the precision of the strikes prevented any collateral (i.e. civilian) loss of life.

These attacks are not over by any measure. The most recent in the series occurred about 36 hours ago. Thus far Iran has yet to respond to them in any meaningful way. That may be because they cannot respond to them. It appears that the Lord is fulfilling the prophecy he gave to Jeremiah many thousands of years ago: He has sent a sword against this evil regime which will not relent until the regime has been totally consumed.

Update 16:30 EDT: Just got word of another massive explosion which occurred yesterday in west Tehran. This initial report claims the blast occurred at 4 AM local time at an IRGC missile storage facility. A second report just received has two additional explosions occurring in Garmdareh and Quds. These two are also reportedly "strategic sites." Waiting on confirmation of these potential attacks.
