Global SITREP B4:22: A Covenant Among Many

15 March 2022: The unprovoked Russian war against Ukraine appears to be entering a terminal phase, one that will include a formal agreement or contract between several parties. In this case the agreement might be more akin to the definition that is applied to a covenant (treaty) as described by Joshua 9:6.

In Eschatology Today's traditional forward leaning posture, it appears at this point to be a near certainty that the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, to include the withdrawal of Russian forces from most if not all of the country, will essentially be a treaty that ensures security requirements for the whole of Europe and not just Ukrainian or Russian requirements for security guarantees. It has only been days since the last implicit Russian threat of nuclear strikes, so an iron-clad treaty in this regard will be essential.  

This is what all of Europe, that is, the EU backed by the economic and military power of NATO will negotiate and confirm at a conference in the not too distant future. Ukraine will have won its defensive war and Russia, having virtually exhausted its ability to sustain its offensive military operations will be forced to withdraw to ensure its economic survival and independence from Red Chinese domination.

Warfare is likely to continue for perhaps the next four to six weeks, and barring an unforeseen black swan event, Russia's invasion will simply and literally run out of gas, and food, and its armies will become incapable of further action. The process being envisioned here could take several months, and European reconstruction of an independent and occupation-free Ukraine will take far longer.

Perhaps, just perhaps, this nascent treaty of security among multiple parties in Europe might be extended and confirmed for a period of seven years in the not too distant future to include the nations of a war-ravaged Middle East, as foretold by the angel Gabriel in Daniel 9:27. 

 

Global SITREP A1-22: The Death of Nations

UPDATED 1 January 2022: One thing all good intel analysts do is read. And I mean they read a lot. So, guess what I've been doing a lot of. Yup, reading. Forecasts, trends, OSINT, lot's of stuff to be sure. And one of those was an article that used the image above to illustrate the point the author was making. The author is Peter Zeihan, formerly of Strator but now running his own concern, Zeihan on Geopolitics. The analysis that got my attention was about Russia, the Russian Federation, and how it continues to collapse politically and especially demographically. 

Demographics are important, and it's the equivalent of when the Lord's words speaks of nations and peoples. It's also related to what has been written here about the process or processes involved in prophetic fulfillment. I believe the judgment of God upon the nations and peoples of this world is prophetic and follows a given path to ultimate fulfillment. In this case, and although this author does not even come close to the prophetic implications involved with Russia in particular, the points made are clearly in sync with the Lord's judgment.

Russia as a distinct nation is dying simply because there aren't that many Russians, the birthrate has sunk to a fairly slight percentage. Have you ever wondered why in Ezekiel 38/39 mighty Russia (Magog) comes against tiny Israel with such a massive confederation of armies in addition to its own? This is besides the fact that coalition warfare has become the norm of the 20th and 21 centuries. Russia today has a very small ethnically Russian army. Much of its 'boots on the ground' in various hotspots around the world today are mercenaries,' and so it will be with Ezekiel 38/39. 

The bottom line here is that Russia cannot afford to lose the bulk of its ethnic Russian armed forces, and this is especially true with the rising superpower on its western frontier. The EU has become and will continue to coalesce into an ethnic European polity, and we know this is a fact per prophecy. Ten Toes, Ten Horns, Ten Kings that rise to become a feared and dominant military power in these last days who willfully allow and eleventh king to rise up and take totalitarian control of all. And we know from previous SITREPs that Russia, as we see at the present time, is embarked on a great gambit to expand its power westward (see image again) in a vain attempt for forestall the rise of a revived "Greco-Roman Empire" backed by the military might of the young lions of the North American hemisphere. Yet before this takes place, or more correctly, is allowed to come to completion, events take place in the Middle East and hooks are placed in the jaws to draw Russia and its cohort to the death on the mountains of Israel. But the end it not yet, there is much more to follow.

UPDATE 4 January 2022: Time has come to conclude this SITREP in preparation for the next.  Events that have been expected to occur now have at least preliminary OSINT reports of having taken place. In the past 72 hours numerous reports have appeared in foreign media, and separating fact from fiction and pure propaganda is ongoing. The Indications and Warnings (I&W) are heavy that big and very near-term events are brewing in Syria, Lebanon and Gaza.

On top of the I&W, it has been expected that the January 3, 2020 anniversary of IRGC Quds Force Major General Qasem Soleimani's assassination would include attacks against US and coalition forces. Current indications are that coalition forces may have launched preemptive strikes with artillery and missiles against Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor from the Coalition firebase at Al-Omar oil field, also in Deir Ezzor. Iranian propaganda is running rampant and taken with a grain of salt.

It appears that the second Israeli attack against Iranian armed smuggling at Syria's critical Latakia port has had the desired effect upon the Syrian regime. Initial reports are the weapons smuggling operation by IRGC QF Unit 190 at Latakia has been ordered by Bashar al-Assad, not doubt with Russian urging, to curtail its operations. Other reports indicate that the Al-Dimas airfield west of Damascus has been taken over by Hezbollah and IRGC-QF forces. Eviction of local farmers and underground base construction by Hezbollah are said to be ongoing. Expect the IAF to target this base soon.

HAMAS and PIJ may be on the cusp of igniting a new round of fighting against Israel's civilian population. The anticipated trigger event is the death of a 140-day hunger strike by a terrorist prisoner named Abu Hawash. There is much credence to the terrorist threat with direct fire from Gaza into Israeli border communities having occurring in recent days. IDF tanks return fire into Gaza.  

Russia-Ukraine, China-Taiwan, Iran, North Korea and the Middle East are all hot spots which have the potential to ignite a sudden global conflagration in 2022. 

Global SITREP E7-16: The Little Horn

The Little Horn

27 December 2017: Appropriately SITREP E7-16 will be the last one for the year 2016 AD. As can be seen by the image, this is about the prophecy found in Daniel 7:7-8. This is the fourth beast, different from the three beasts which had appeared before it in Daniel's night visions (dreams). At the initial and very first appearance of this fourth beast in Daniel's vision - it has 10 horns. The horns represent 10 nations. These ten nations are the heir nations of the ancient Roman Empire. 

The ancient Roman Empire had taken the place of the beast of the Macedonian-Greek Empire of Alexander the Great and his four Diadochi (generals), represented by a four-winged and four-headed leopard; which had taken the place of the beast of the Persian Empire, represented by a bear, raised up on one side with three ribs in its mouth; which had taken the place of the beast of the Babylonian Empire, represented by a lion with the wings of an eagle, which were torn off and it was made to stand like a man and given the heart of a man (Daniel 7:1-6).

The fourth beast that appears with the ten horns is the final world empire of the 'last days'. it will exist as such when the little horn, the Antichrist, rises among these ten nations. One of the very first things this little horn does as he rises is tear out three of the ten horns by their roots. The Antichrist takes these three horns, these nations, and makes them his own. The remaining seven horns follow after him and pledge themselves to him. This is the prophetic vision of the rising of the final world empire; this is the near future of the West, of Europe and the Western Hemisphere. 

This appears quite likely according to the common interpretation of Ezekiel 38:13 which speaks to a mixture, or alliance of nations of the Arabian Peninsula with the major Western mercantile trading nations of Europe and its former colonies (young lions thereof). NATO in other words. 

Never before in history have the Arabian nations been so intermingled with the merchants of Tarshish and their former colonies which are now independent nations. This has become the fact-of-the-matter due to the events and continuous flood of wars of the past twenty-five years, from the military coalition of the first Gulf War against the land of ancient Babylon (Iraq), through the second Gulf War, and to the current war in that ancient land and in Syria and the resultant mass exodus into the West. The populations of the lands of the ancient Roman Empire are being intermingled in these 'last days' as they've not been at any point in previous history. The inevitable conflict of these two civilizations is unavoidably attendant, and it will be resolved prior to the 70th Week. 

The current fact as we enter the year 2017 AD and 5777-78 on the Hebrew calendar, is this: the God-breathed Biblical prophecy of several major prophets are now bubbling in a virtual boil prior to a literal flood of sequential and or concurrent fulfillment's. And we stand on the threshold of the literal physical manifestation and fulfillment of Daniel 7:7-8 before our eyes.

And while we know not which three horns or nations Antichrist will up-root from the among the ten to take as his own, yet as assuredly as the sun rises tomorrow we can also watch for this to happen in the coming months, possibly as an adjunct or final resolution to the ongoing conflict between the Islamic and pseudo-Judeo-Christian West.

Global SITREP A2-15: First Intel Briefing for 2015

UPDATE 8 January 2015: I feel compelled to say again what I have stated many times in the past. The word Islam is an Arabic word and its meaning is submission. Period. That meaning is in the sense of total surrender to the alleged god of the submitters, and whom they refer to as Al-Lah (the God), their so-called prophet, plus the Qur'an and Ahadith (sayings attributed to him). In the Islamic perspective there are only two places in which human beings live on this earth. Dar al-Islam, the Land of Islam, and Dar al-Harb, the Land of War. Now you know why what happened in New York City on February 26, 1998; September 11, 2011, as well as in Washington DC and Shanksville PA on that same day; in Madrid, Spain on 11 March 2004; in London, UK on 7 July, 2005, and in Paris, France and several thousand other locales all over the world. These are not "terrorist acts" per se; they are instead acts of war, military assaults in the capital cities of non-Muslim countries which will continue to occur simply because Islam has been at war with everything non-Islamic since its inception 1,400 years ago. These acts of war will stop only when Islam ceases to exist. 

One more thing to know. According to Islamic Law (Sharia Jurisprudence) no enemy can be attacked unless that enemy is warned ahead of time that the attack will occur. The warning of an attack is known as a fatwa. There is no such thing as a sneak attack in the Islamic or Qur'anic Concept of War. So why is it the governments of Western countries refuse to acknowledge these long established facts irregardless of how many acts of war are committed against them by Islam?
 
Exactly how many enemy Islamic soldiers, jihadists, are living right now in our cities, towns and rural communities? Do you know? Do you care?

6 January 2015: I have two point five (2.5) new and very interesting intel updates to write about in this update.


First off, it is now pretty much public and common knowledge that Israel's national intelligence apparatus has long had and still probably has the Iranian Hezbollah in Lebanon by the proverbial "family jewels."  So thorough is the Israeli penetration and compromise of Hezbollah that one of the terrorist group's highest ranking officials, a man who was responsible for executing Iranian-Hezbollah revenge attacks against Israel over the untimely death-by-carbomb of their terrorist-in-chief Imad Fayez Mughniyeh, was himself an Israeli double agent. How awesome is that?! Unfortunately he was discovered. However, a good look into the unmasking of Israel's spy was openly reported in Lebanon's prime newspaper, The Daily Star, on 19 December 2014. In the report it is learned that Israel's spy, Mohammed Shawraba, was the chief of Hezbollah's, and thus Iran's IRGC Qods Force proxy, the External Operations Unit. Click on the link while its still working and you'll get a good look into Iranian terrorism on foreign soil and new intel that reveals Hezbollah to be a bloated proxy terrorist army filled to the gills with opportunists, careerists and big-time apostates from the purist Shi'a Twelver jihadi mantra the Iranians would like us to believe they have at their beck and call. Make no mistake, the coming prophetic war against Hezbollah will be violent and very bloody, but the outcome is prophetically assured precisely as it is written in Joshua 13.

And while we're on the subject of Iran, here's a tidbit from The Algemeiner.com which illustrates just how completely out of touch secular Judaism is with Israel's ancient prophets since this news article (Iran's Plan to Wreak Havoc on Israel With Missiles) is directly related to Jeremiah 49:34-39. Of course Jeremiah's soon to be fulfilled prophecy is completely ignored by the article as one would expect of secular media, Jewish or not.

Could these be the doomed soldiers under Gog of Magog's command per Ezekiel 38/39? If an article published yesterday on RCW.com's Compass blog is correct, we could very well be looking at an image of some of Gog of Magog's troops in a pre-invasion muster formation. The article is entitled "Coming Soon: The Russian Foreign Legion" and is well worth reading if you are as interested in looking at eschatological issues before they occur in the real-world as I am. Here is a what I found to be a rather chilling, goose-bump laden excerpt from the article which I think very accurately describes the ethnic make-up of Gog of Magog's military forces precisely as foretold by Ezekiel:

"Russia's military involvement in Eastern Ukraine currently consists of soldiers and mercenaries from far-flung federal republics such as Chechnya, as well as Ukrainian citizens who are ethnic Russians and wish to support Moscow's efforts to create pro-Russian political entities in the Donbas region. If Ukraine is to serve as a model of Russia's new mode of hybrid warfare, combining special forces and regular military personnel with "rebel" or "militia" formations in areas Moscow deems militarily important, it should be logical to assume that numerous volunteers could be recruited for other such missions. Which brings Russia to the next logical step in its emerging military strategy: allowing foreigners to serve in the Russian armed forces. The main criterium for such service is knowledge of the Russian language"

2 January 2015: Hardly a day into the new year and there's intel aplenty indicating significant battles of ongoing wars in nations of the Middle East and North Africa with direct prophetic implications will soon be joined.

In Biblical Puwt (Libya) the February to October 2011 rebellion which ousted and caused the death of the late Libyan dictator Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi has festered and blossomed into a full-blown war between the formerly victorious Islamists in Tripoli (western Libya) and an elected Parliament in Tobruk (eastern Libya). The Islamists, known by their new name, Libya Dawn, are internationally supported by Turkey and Qatar, yet find themselves on the defensive in all sectors of the ongoing war. Their enemy are the former al-Qaddafi troops and secular militias led by General Khalifa Haftar who fight for the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) and which is internationally supported by Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In Libyan coastal cities and towns from the Tunisian border eastwards to Tobruk dozens of battles have raged which have recently left HoR forces in a superior military position, one strong enough to allow for an imminent invasion and conquest of Tripoli between now and February 2015. This war almost certainly will determine the victor who will emerge and be consigned to fulfill the deadly prophecy of Ezekiel 38:5 linked above, as well as that of Daniel 11:43.

In Syria the dead and injured in that country's civil war has reached 1 million (800,000 injured; 200,000 killed) among all sides, and the financial loss is rapidly approaching $50 billion among all nations participating in the inter-Islamic slaughter. With this war about to be ramped up considerably through external agencies, these current totals may well be doubled or tripled within a year or so. The prophetic fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49:23-27 has never been closer than it appears at the start of 2015.

Across Europe a distinct blowback to the Islamization reportedly occurring in many countries has recently emerged. In Dresden, Germany each and every Monday there are numbers of citizens, many of them Christians, rapidly approaching 20,000 who peacefully march in protest against "the Islamization of the West." This "We are the people" movement is known by its acronym PEDIGA (Patriotische Europäer Gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes or Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West). Not surprisingly, the current German Chancellor Angela Merkel, formerly of the Communist East German Stasi (secret police) and Agitprop (communist youth propaganda), took to the air New Years Eve on German television to denounce these protestors as racists driven by hatred. Mrs. Merkel has much in common with the current American president, and she will soon witness demonstrations such as the image below illustrates of not just 20,000 individuals, but of 100,000 or more per event in cities across the nation.

The anti-Islam movement is growing in leaps and bounds across Europe, from the Czech Republic to France. In 2015 I think we can reasonably expect anti-Islamic blowback to become as acute as it is becoming in Germany. Did you know that on New Years Eve as world media focused its attention on fireworks celebrations in various capitals and cities of importance little more than passing mention was made of the nearly 1,000 privately owned automobiles that were torched by marauding gangs of Muslims all over the French Republic. This was an encore presentation of Islamic barbarism in France as a similar number of cars were torched this time last year by Muslims. Perhaps "blowback" is too mild of a term for what is coming in Europe.

Current events will, as they have in the past, continue to proactively shape the world into the configuration that will exist for the literal fulfillment of the Lord's prophetic word. Events during the year 2015 can be expected to begin to expedite these real-time processes.

Global SITREP C6-14: Ukraine is Essential to Ezekiel 38/39 Fulfillment

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE 24 July 2014: It was just announced that Russia has been attacking Ukrainian military forces via field artillery fired from Russian territory onto Ukrainian territory for several days now. Corporate media are citing U.S. government sources (i.e. the Obama Pentagon) are referring to the artillery strikes as "a military escalation." This is not a military escalation. This is an unprovoked act of war by Russia against Ukraine. It remains to be seen in the next several hours if Ukraine launches its own counter-fires against the Russian artillery.

Just days ago Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 from (Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur) was blown out of the sky by a Russian BUK-1/2 SAM air defense system as seen in the image above. The Russians apparently mistook MH17 for a Ukrainian intelligence collections aircraft and blew it out of the sky so as to hide what Russia is doing just over the border - massing heavy weapons such as tanks, howitzers and SAM systems in preparation for a much expanded war with Ukraine.

As seen in the image directly above a BUK-M1-2 TELAR that was clearly missing at least one and possibly two of its onboard missiles was filmed leaving rebel-controlled Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine and entering Russia just hours after the shootdown occurred. This image is a single frame from that film. In short, Russia has been caught red-handed in an act of war against a sovereign state and murdering many innocent citizens of NATO nations on board a commercial aircraft in an international air corridor in order to hide its hostile intentions.

15 May 2014: OSCE-sponsored talks on the Ukrainian crisis going absolutely nowhere fast as pro-Russian insurgents are unwilling to attend the face-to-face sessions in Kiev, they demand the talks be held in Donetsk, capital city of their self-declared Republic of Donetsk. This stark reality led to the events which transpired last night as Ukrainian military forces once again took the battlefield initiative and launched simultaneous operations against pro-Russian bases outside of two key locations: Kramatorsk and its neighbor to the northeast Slovyansk. Both pro-Russian bases were destroyed according to an Associated Press report that hit the wires very early this morning. The report also cited a Ukrainian defense ministry source as saying there were no Ukrainian casualties in either operation.

Slovyansk became a focal point in this crisis early on as it is the location of a former-Soviet and Russian arms depot holding over one million ground combat weapons of various types. Securing this arsenal was clearly a primary objective for the Russian Spetsnaz forces who infiltrated early on following their successful Crimean operation. It is unknown if Ukrainian forces destroyed this arsenal last night of if it another insurgent base they took out. Odds are this arsenal is very high on a list of immediate Ukrainian military objectives.

There is far more to this Ukrainian-Russian military face-off than just the fact that most of the unrest is being stirred up in majority Russian-speaking oblasts inside Ukraine. The invasion and annexation of Crimea was just an essential territory for Russia to control from the outset because its greater strategic objectives lie in several Ukrainian oblasts (provinces) I identified in earlier in the posts on this subject. Many of us may be reading in the papers that Russia has Ukraine over a barrel over with respect to natural gas pipeline imports and the debt Ukraine has piled up because of its imports of this essential resource. 

However, neither the majority Russian-speaking population or the natural gas issue satisfactorily addresses the full truth of the matter. The bigger picture revolves around the fact that Ukraine has the factories and the defense industry infrastructure which the Russian military relies upon as much as Ukraine relies upon Russian natural gas imports to keep its economy afloat, perhaps even more so.  For our eschatological interests in this conflict this is an essential item to make a note of: Russia needs the the defense infrastructure that exists today in Ukraine because without it it is a questionable proposition that Russia could successfully mount the type of military operation we have prophetically described for us in Ezekiel 38/39.

Consider these facts: 

• The Ukrainian company Motor Sich produces helicopter engines and spare parts that largely enable the Russian military's helicopter fleet to maintain its flight operations. Of the 1,000 engines that will be produced in Ukraine in 2014 at least 400 of them are for Russian choppers, which is 100 more engines than exist in Russia's current attack helicopter fleet.
• The servicing and maintenance of Russia's SS-19 nuclear missiles is a $10-million per year business for the Ukrainian company Yuzhmash. Moreover, a full 80% of the entire Russian strategic nuclear rocket forces were designed and built in Ukraine.
• There are a minimum of 50 Ukrainian factories which provide all manner of military hardware and services to the Russian war machine, and this constitutes a critical infrastructure to the Russian capability to project its military power outside of its borders - such as described in Ezekiel 38/39.

No hard conclusions can be drawn as yet because this crisis has some distance to go before a viable forecast can be made, yet it seems reasonable to assess at this point that either Ukraine will fall into full servitude to Russia as it was during the days of the Soviet Union, or Ukraine may find a new and growing market for its military hardware in the alliance just to its west known as NATO.

Global SITREP C2-14: An Op-Ed on Stuff in General

23 April 2014: Time and time again, when one thinks this or that event will turn out to be the proverbial 'straw that broke the camel's back,' something else occurs to further compound an already untenable and highly volatile situation. That's what I found myself thinking yet again in reading a few hundred OSINT reports in just the three days since Resurrection Day. 

Then I remembered Jesus' own Mount of Olives SITREP about the pains we should expect in these last days. A paraphrased executive summary would read something like: "There will be multiple wars and rumors of even more wars. Understand these events for what they are, but do not live in fear of them because they must occur in their appointed times, for the end of them is still in the future. Nations will rise up against each other; one dominion will provoke another dominion. This will result in acute food shortages, rampant plagues, and violent commotions all over the earth. Yet all these events are just the heralding of My coming again."

Just when one might think "this is it, something has got to give," and yet even more pressure comes to bear. A provocation here, a provocation there; gunshots here and gunshots there; the thunderous sound of jet engines and thousands of tanks and other armored vehicles rumble which seems to make the earth itself recoil in terror at the prospect of their belching smoke, fire and the smell of explosive charges.  Most people on the earth have never experienced war, they have no comprehension of it. However, as Jesus said, stand by...

There's a growing sense that Vladimir Putin cannot be trusted to act responsibly; that he is deliberately calculating each and every movement in the current crisis as if he were the conductor, his military forces his orchestra and the rest of the world a captive audience. Worst of all, to be perfectly blunt about it, Putin doesn't think, he knows that the current president of the United States is a wimp; that he's flexible enough to bend over backwards and stab any friend or ally in their back. Benjamin Netanyahu know this better than anyone else. Bibi knows that Obama just gave Sunni jihadists in Syria some of the best MANPADS money-can-buy for free, and which puts a lot of IAF pilots in harms way from American-made missiles. Some ally Obama is.

It seems to me that if there's an impetus for a truly unified Europe from Spain to the Arctic Circle and Ireland to Bucharest, then Vladimir Putin and his Russian Federation are proving to be it. There's certainly no warm and fuzzies coming Europe's way in any of the bouncing blank check assurances given by Veep Joey Biden; intelligent Europeans already understand that Vladimir Putin's objective is to unify Europe under his own goose-stepping boot. Could it be that the 'king of the north' will be responsible for getting the 'king of the west's' act together? It could very well be. Bible prophecy is fulfilled through the day-to-day events of secular world actors doing their thing, hooks notwithstanding.

So while there's the prospect of another world war erupting in Europe, on this side of the pond our totally corrupt and out-of-touch administration and its big government allies are completely consumed with persecuting ranchers in the American heartland who are trying to make a living and keep us fed with quality beef as well. Simultaneously, with the administration's blessing, the Islamonazi's of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah are running rampant all across America. 

Yet, not-so-strangely enough, "Dirty" Harry Reid's focus remains on what he refers to as the "domestic terrorists" who patriotically rallied to defend Clive Bundy's ranch against an over-reaching federal bureaucracy. Neither Obama nor Dirty Harry ever identified the 2009 Ft. Hood mass-murdering jihadist Nidal Hassan as a "domestic terrorist," no, they save that choice ad hominem attack for some real red-white-and-blue-blooded American patriots. Real-life American cowboys. What's wrong with this picture? Everything! To my American brothers out west, this Jersey guy says tell the Feds "Molon Labe!" Welcome them accordingly.

When Government Looks More Like Foe Than Friend.

Addendum II:  I simply have to include this one final item in this Op-Ed. It is both a heart-felt and well deserved salute to our parents, grandparents, and in some cases perhaps even great-grandparents, and relatives of every kind who were part of the "Greatest Generation," which not-so-coincidentally I believe, also includes the generation of Israel's founding mothers and fathers. Furthermore, The United States of America placed 16.1 men in the uniform of our various branches of the armed forces, invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic Ocean, planned and executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific Ocean and marched across Europe, developed the atomic bomb and ultimately conquered both Germany and Japan.

It is worth noting that during the almost exact same amount of time the Obama Administration could not build a functioning web site."

Global SITREP B21-14: Global Military Tensions Are Rapidly Becoming Palpable

5 April 2014: Is it a coincidence that a sequence of signs of blood red moons is about to occur over the next year as military tensions between the world's preeminent military powers are rapidly becoming palpable? I don't think there's anything coincidental about this; we're living in the so-called 'last days' when the primary signs that Jesus gave us of "wars and rumors of wars" are supposed to take place.

It's like something mechanical that's too tightly wound up and stresses throughout the mechanism are at the point of simultaneous catastrophic failure, and the internal parts of the device go flying uncontrollably in every direction imaginable. This is the world as I see it today. It's like Humpty Dumpty is in mid-flight in his fall off the wall, and all of the kings horses and all of their man have no prayer of putting that Humpty Dumpty of so-called world peace together again. Truth be told, during this present age, world peace is literally the absence of world war. No wonder the Bible prophecies that men will literally collapse of heart attacks when they see these things coming upon the world.

War and the threat and rumors of an even of a greater war in the heart of Europe have gripped dozens of world capitals and the attention of as many general staffs in NATO on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean in North America and Europe. Emergency meetings, planning sessions and operational orders are being issued with a frequency that would make any fast food retail outlet green with envy.  

In the Middle East there are extraordinary pressures for military action, both outright and preemptive; the so-called 'peace process' between Israel and the Arabs is but a smoldering hulk in a sea of smoldering hulks. There's a lot of smart, articulate diplomatically astute men in the United States. So the US government sends the pompous, condescending but totally inept and even more unqualified John Kerry on this absolutely critical mission in shark infested waters? Seriously? Why not VP Joe Biden then? An informative related report can be found HERE. As a direct result of John Kerry's efforts the Arabs, in the form of he Arab League, have just officially refused to recognize the cold, hard fact of reality that Israel is Jewish state. As we all know, this merely proves what we've known for decades; there will be no lasting peace in the Middle East until the Lord Jesus Christ comes to establish His kingdom, Until then keep your head down, ammo dry, locked and loaded, and your gas mask at the ready on your hip at all times.

In northeastern Asia the offensive military belligerence and war-like rhetoric of North Korea has both South Korea and Japan experiencing a 'straw that broke the camel's back' situation. South Korea is now directly responding to almost daily North Korean military provocations, and the Japanese government has ordered its military to respond by shooting down any further North Korean missiles launched over the Sea of Japan. Aye-aye was the response from the Japanese Navy and its Aegis cruisers in that area.

In southeastern Asia the rapid Russian conquest of Crimea from its former ally Ukraine has Chinese Taiwan on pins and needles over the prospect of mainland Chinese aggression against them; the Japanese and Chinese tensions over the Senkaku Islands between Japan, Taiwan and mainland China could forge a military alliance between Japan and Taiwan against China. make no mistake, these are all Top 10 global military powers who are on the periphery and are allies of the Top 3 military powers on the late-great planet Earth.

And its not everyday that a senior CIA officer commits suicide by jumping off the roof of a 5-story building. Stresses abound in the nations capital and they're only increasing across the board because American leadership is all but nonexistent in the current Obama Administration and the current Congress is not much help either. Folks in the Pentagon appear to be divided over a military duty to salute the CInC and say "yessir" and their oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic. They did not take kindly at all to the recent treasonous revelation that the Obama Administration was planning to give the Russians highly classified US missile defense secrets. That's right, the Obama Administration was about to give the Russians precision data on the performance of our anti-missile defenses. Imagine that, a Trojan Horse in Washington, D.C. and it looks just like our 220-year old White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Anyone hear the word "impeachment" from any Congressmen as a result of this revelation? I'm not holding my breath either.

The tension is absolutely palpable. Common sense says something has got to give. But there's no fear, these things must take place to prepare the way for His kingdom.

Global SITREP A1-13

19 March 2013 (Updated 21 March): It seems like yesterday. Anniversaries can do that to you. Ten years ago today after all the preparations were long since completed we were ready to go over the berm from Kuwait into Iraq. Within 48 hours after starting the movement northward 3rd ID would be almost 100 miles deep into Iraq. My thoughts were drawn into consideration of the four angels bound at the Euphrates River awaiting their release. With Saddam's threats of WMD warfare and all of us in full MOPP IV gear I had to wonder if this was the war that would release those four angels upon the world. And here I was smack dab in the middle of it with thousands of other guys dressed in DCUs on a mission to liberate Iraq. Nebuchadnezzar's, Cyrus' and Alexander's ancient stompin' grounds, this was going to be no fun at all I thought. Saddam's Scuds, Al-Samouds, Silkworms and U.S. Patriots and hundreds of coalition aircraft were launched, danced in the air and some occasionally landed explosively nearby. Seems like yesterday, but a decade later and far more learned about the correct exegesis of Bible prophecy than I was at that time, the effect that decade of spent time now has me wondering if its not four angels that are about to be released, but rather how much time Damascus has left to be a habitable city. You live, you learn.

So, it seems fitting at this point to begin doing an occasional global sitrep (situation report) on this blog because, who knows, Damascus could get ruined overnight one of these days, so why not keep track of events a little more closely leading up to that paradigm changing event. Thirteen years earlier, just after Operation Desert Storm and when Iraqi Scuds were pelting Israel little did anyone know that that war would come and go and just make an even bigger and more important war occur in the future. Hindsight is 20/20, so a little journal seems a good idea at this point. Now I do not think at this point it will be another decade because there's just too much going on in the Middle East right now for me to accept there that much time to expend yet again. Could be, but one cannot be dogmatic about these things.

At present we have North Korea threatening to nuke the US at a time when they have completed a couple of actual nuclear tests and long range missile launches. We have the US responding to this by flying B-52 missions from Guam to South Korea and the Pentagon essentially telling dear leader Kim Jong-Un that while he's feeling all kinds of froggy these days he had better think twice and not jump.  In the same time frame we have Russia flying nuclear-armed Bear-H bombers from distant bases in Kamchatka making simulated nuclear strikes against US and allied bases in South Korea, Japan (Okinawa) and Guam, and Communist Chinese gunboat diplomacy kicking things up a notch or two from Vietnam and the Philippines to Japan. East Asia is looking as warlike as the Middle East is. Rumors of wars.

In the Middle East, the ever present basket-case, we have Syrian Alawite jets bombing Sunni columns in Lebanon while the Al-Assad government and Sunni rebel forces trade accusations of chemical warfare attacks. I now am holding the assessment that two chemical agents were used Phosphorus Trichloride (PCl3) which is under controlled production by Schedule 3 of the Chemical Weapons Convention, and BZ which is a deliriant incapacitating agent. Which side executed this chemical attack remains undetermined; it could have been Al-Assad's forces or it could have been the FSA rebel forces. If our "red lines" have any meaning then Western military intervention will have to be forthcoming, with the possibility of  special forces seizing Syrian and/or FSA rebel chemical stocks or destroying them in place by surgical strikes. Syria does have a serious missile-borne WMD capability and Israel must look like a convenient game-changer to Al-Assad and his apocalypse-minded pals in Tehran given their poor battlefield prospects in Syria. No rumors here, real war is ongoing from the Turkish border to the Lebanese border to the Israeli and Jordanian borders. All the places mentioned in Bible prophecy that I am concerned about and always watching closely.

In Europe a financial crisis is threatening to come unraveled from one part of the former Roman Empire to another. The once mighty Euro currency is now worth about seventy-five cents American, and American currency is being printed as if were playing an artificially extended game of Monopoly. The Obama Sequester is about to chew up our armed forces at a time when really big shooting wars could erupt in any or all of the places I just mentioned. Oh, and we're still at war in Afghanistan. This is wars and rumors of wars.

Sorry for all of the seemingly bad news in this first installment, but at least we know that the new Pope isn't Petrus Romanus and we can giggle a little bit at those who gave that nonsense serious consideration. See you at the next edition of Global SITREP... if we aren't called home first.

The Libyan War

27 March 2011: Prior to United Nations sanctioned military action by the West (EU, US, CAN) the Western media was prompt to report to our population the urgent calls from the fighters and civilians on the ground opposing Qaddafi and the Arab League for our intervention; to save the Libyan people from Qaddafi’s genocide.

Who started this war in Libya, and under what ideological banner?

Could it be the same group of Islamic agitators as exists elsewhere in the world – Islamic fundamentalists? The al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun. The Muslim Brotherhood. This is same group and Islamist ideology the socialist left in the West loves to promote as a cause célèbre. Freedom fighters and defenders of the common Muslim men, women and children against the anti-democratic despots and their totalitarian regimes supported by the West to the tune of billions of dollars for decades. The corporate media in the US have even gone so far as to heap praise and hero worship upon the anti-Qaddafi fighters, including suicide and IED bombers identical to those repeatedly attacking major Western cities such as Jerusalem, Madrid, Paris, London, New York City and Washington, D.C. This is the same ideology as is being opposed by our nation’s finest heroes and our dwindling treasury in Afghanistan and Iraq for the better part of the past 10 years, and was completely unopposed in any meaningful way going back to the first WTC bombing in 1993.

So we find ourselves intervening in an illegal, undeclared war in Libya, characterized by our national leadership as a “kinetic military action,” for the purpose of preventing genocide against the same Islamic “freedom fighters” as we have fought against all this time in Afghanistan and Iraq. Tell me, why are our armed forces responding to the Libyan civil war? Does not the Arab League possess enough military hardware, fighting men and treasury to oppose Qaddafi as they have consistently done against the State of Israel for the past 63 years? Why do the Arab Muslims need our military forces to do their dirty work? We’re told by our national leadership that our efforts in Libya will ultimate result in democracy coming to the Libyan people. Really? Do they mean the same kind of democracy that came to the Gaza Strip or Lebanon?

There is enough information in this brief article to wake up all but the most comatose, consciousness-suspended or gleefully misinformed among us regarding the reality of the situation. In case you’re still unsure about that which I write, allow me to be as blunt as Diana West has been: Our military forces have joined the Islamic Jihad. So how does it feel to be the Global Jihad’s rent-a-cop?

24 March 2010: President Obama fully and intentionally skirted the U.S. Constitution in illegally ordering the Pentagon to commence acts of war against Libya. In light of this fact President Obama’s orders to the U.S. military to execute these attacks in Libya constitutes an illegal order under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Members of the US Armed Forces who obey illegal orders are subject to criminal prosecution.

Per the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ):

Section 16c(1)(c): Lawfulness. A general order or regulation is lawful unless it is contrary to the Constitution, the laws of the United States, or lawful superior orders or for some other reason is beyond the authority of the official issuing it.

Section 14c(2)(a)(i): Inference of lawfulness. A order requiring the performance of a military duty or act may be inferred to be lawful and it is disobeyed at the peril of the subordinate. This inference does not apply to a patently illegal order, such as one that directs the commission of a crime.

Such illegal orders are a crime as in war crime, an international war crime at that. These illegal orders can apply as war crimes in the International Court of Justice subjecting every member of the US Armed Forces, from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff down to the lowest ranking service member who carried out these orders, to trial and punishment outside of any American jurisdiction.

The UCMJ allows for the disobedience of illegal orders because such orders constitute a crime, or be part of a criminal conspiracy, either under military, civilian or international law.

I urge both Republican and Democrat members of our House of Representatives and Senate to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against President Barack Hussein Obama II and to immediately direct our National Military Command Authority to halt all military operations against Libya.
