15 March 2022: The unprovoked Russian war against Ukraine appears to be entering a terminal phase, one that will include a formal agreement or contract between several parties. In this case the agreement might be more akin to the definition that is applied to a covenant (treaty) as described by Joshua 9:6.
In Eschatology Today's traditional forward leaning posture, it appears at this point to be a near certainty that the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, to include the withdrawal of Russian forces from most if not all of the country, will essentially be a treaty that ensures security requirements for the whole of Europe and not just Ukrainian or Russian requirements for security guarantees. It has only been days since the last implicit Russian threat of nuclear strikes, so an iron-clad treaty in this regard will be essential.
This is what all of Europe, that is, the EU backed by the economic and military power of NATO will negotiate and confirm at a conference in the not too distant future. Ukraine will have won its defensive war and Russia, having virtually exhausted its ability to sustain its offensive military operations will be forced to withdraw to ensure its economic survival and independence from Red Chinese domination.
Warfare is likely to continue for perhaps the next four to six weeks, and barring an unforeseen black swan event, Russia's invasion will simply and literally run out of gas, and food, and its armies will become incapable of further action. The process being envisioned here could take several months, and European reconstruction of an independent and occupation-free Ukraine will take far longer.
Perhaps, just perhaps, this nascent treaty of security among multiple parties in Europe might be extended and confirmed for a period of seven years in the not too distant future to include the nations of a war-ravaged Middle East, as foretold by the angel Gabriel in Daniel 9:27.
This SITREP is based upon things that came as a flash of inspiration very early this morning. I believe students of Bible prophecy will understand the issues presented.
ReplyDeleteSean, I had a similar flash of inspiration yesterday. I could see such an agreement among many to resolve Middle East and European peace simultaneously by including the supply of gas from Israel through Egypt to Jordan and on to Europe. This brings Russia into Jordan because of the sanctions on their energy exports. I’m not trying to project too far ahead but it seemed to be reasonable and a good cause for Russia to be in Jordan east of Israel where the burial place for Gog and his army takes place per Ezekiel.
DeleteSomething to watch at least.
The Office of the President of Ukraine has this morning affirmed what I wrote in this SITREP as the basis of it's security requirements.
DeleteNot NATO membership, but iron-clad defensive security guarantees from the Western Alliance in the event that Russia attacks again; that security means the alliance will actively engage is the defense of an independent Ukraine.
No more Russian "Budapest Memorandums" or Minsk Agreements. Only a Western Alliance commitment to defend against Russian aggression.
Ukraine will also insist that its Wester/European security guarantee signatories include nations who have significant nuclear weapons capabilities.
DeleteBREAKING NEWS:
ReplyDeleteISRAEL DECIMATED IRANIAN DRONE FLEET IN IRAN VIA FEBRUARY AIRSTRIKE
Amazing how initial MSM reporting of the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Erbil was centered on the not yet in service US Consulate. Now we know the correct version, which I have no doubt links directly to the twin Iranian drone infiltrations of Israel in January.
DeleteThanks for this very informative blog. It think that an all encompassing peace agreement between Europe, Ukraine, Russia, the Middle East and Israel is very likely next May when Israel will celebrate her 74th birthday.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are that an extension of such a treaty to include the ME will not occur until after the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38/39, and that would be during the 70th Week when the bride of Christ will have been caught up by the Lord.
DeleteNATO planning for a high-powered emergency summit next week in Brussels.
ReplyDeleteThis emergency NATO summit will be concurrent with the meeting of the Congress of the Council of Europe.
DeleteBe watchmen more than ever.
ReplyDeleteZelensky has said that Ukraine will not join NATO but will require strong security guarantees from the Western alliance.
ReplyDeleteThis type of a security guarantee is essential because every security guarantee received from Russia since 1994 has been unilaterally abrogated by Russia.
This is where the to be negotiated treaty begins.
And it is where the basis for the 70th Week confirmed "covenant among many" begins.
DeleteIsrael may not be part of NATO, but covered in a security commitment as an independent nation as Ukraine will be.
The difference is that Israel will be betrayed halfway into the 7-year treaty according to Gabriel's prophecy in Daniel 9:27.
Sean, did Russia just announce nuclear weapons deploying to Iran?
ReplyDeleteTP,
DeleteThat's not true.
What Russia is doing is taking US assurances that Ukraine war sanctions impsed by the US do not apply to Russia's ability to trade with Iran.
The Biden Admin is not a direct participant in the revival of the 2015 JCPOA, but allows Russia, represented by Putin's man Ulyanov, to negotiate for the US.
Biden pulling a fast one here as a "revived" JCPOA is not a new negotiated treaty which would require a two-thirds US Senate vote to ratify. So whatever Ulyanov agrees to with Iran becomes a defacto "revived" JCOPA because the Senate will never get to vote on it.
Israel must strike because Biden's Deep State has stabbed them, and US, in the back.
The Biden (i.e. Deep State/ Globalist) JCPOA loophole gives Putin's Russia a $10 Billion payday to build more nuke facilities for Iran's apocalyptic-minded ayatollah's.
DeleteThe info above was presented to all readers here at least 24-48 hours prior to MSM making even a 5-minute broadcast segment about it.
DeleteTime to repeat this...
ReplyDeleteIsrael has no option remaining other than to launch devastating strikes against Iran's nuclear weapons program.
To not strike would be suicidal for Israel.
I agree that Israel is now placed such that they have no choice. If they strike in the currently roiled climate of Ukraine I wonder if it could trigger regional or global war. That's in God's hands.
DeleteDuncanMc,
DeleteAbsolutely!
No war in the world today is isolated from the rest of the world, every war is a virtual world war or invokes fears of one. Mankind either tries to contain a war or expand it depending on their agenda.
WRT the Iran nuclear reinstatement of the JCOPA, Israel had no choice before nor does it have one now.
Yet today Israel has an even more immediate imperative to strike. Moreover, both Sheba and Dedan are supportive of the strike if not becoming active participants in it.
Was Ukraine's mauling of the Russian bear preceded by the Western Alliance's poking of the bear?
ReplyDeleteDid you hear Biden's response to Zelenskyy's address to the US Congress? It was a litany of the warfighting materiel supplied to Ukraine well in advance of any hostilities, and as Eschatology Today noted earlier, it looks like the Globalists instigated the bear to react violently. And so the bear has.
Again, the Book of Daniel is quite clear about what the nations of the Beast Empire are doing as the little horn rises among them: trampling and crushing.
At the collapse of the USSR and the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact circa 1990-91, there were assurances given to Moscow that US and NATO troops would not be stationed east of Germany. NATO said Russia's security interests would be respected and honored.
NATO then sliced and diced the former-Yugoslavia in the mid-1990s.
NATO then expanded eastward into ALL of the former Warsaw Pact countries, so that NATO's tactical battle groups were soon present on Russia's border.
This played right into Russia's centuries old distrust of western intentions, especially the more recent wars of the 20th century.
If none of the above rings a bell, perhaps a brand new article at The American Conservative: We Poked The Bear will do the trick.
DeleteMost of us who were mature adults in the 80s, 90s and first decade of the 21st century lived through all of this, but never once saw it for what it really was - until now.
Remember, as we've recently recognized here, NATO was born out of the 10-Nation Western European Union.
News Item:
ReplyDeleteMarch 17 (UPI) -- Ukraine and Moldova have been successfully connected to the Continental European power system, officials said, paving the way for the two countries to permanently sever their power relationship with Russia.
Start of Week 3/Day 21.
ReplyDeleteThe 42nd Session of the Congress of the Council of Europe will take place from 22-24 March.
A debate on the situation in Ukraine will take place on Tuesday afternoon, March 22nd.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been invited to address the Congress by video conference and the Congress will then adopt an institutional declaration.
So... was the disastrous US withdrawal from Afghanistan in late-2021 actually a Biden Administration "false flag" operation intended to signal weakness to Putin and his military?
ReplyDeleteIt sure worked on the rest of the world, and Putin & Generals did not waste much time in taking that bait IMHO. Hook, line and sinker.
Pentagon says Russia has committed 75% of Russia's combat power in Ukraine, and Ukraine's forces are chewing Russian forces up badly, so much so that they're all but combat ineffective as the third week of war begins.
A World War III with WMD remains a possibility despite what Biden says publicly.
ReplyDeleteDepopulation is a goal of the Globalist's, is it not?
Yes it is. If the vaccines don't do the job, WMD will
DeleteSo true Jon, so true.
DeleteBy this time next week almost everyone will come to understand the critical importance of the concurrent emergency NATO summit and Council of Europe Congress assembly.
ReplyDeleteThe above is my response to all questions. Not writing more about it until then. Patience.
DeleteIt would appear that Putin underestimated the Ukrainians will to stand and fight. It would also appear your statement about God putting hooks in Gogs jaws and thoughts in his head could be very close.
DeleteWhen the USA's dollar collapses, so does the worlds. A time for the A/C to arrive and God's two witnesses also.
Do you think God uses them to bring the destruction of Gog and his hordes on the mountains of Israel or will God do it alone?
Governments now know how to lockdown their people and control buying and selling.
Yes, it appears our departure in near and the world will have their sign that God exists. And a multitude will be saved in those last seven years.
Maranatha!
Jmoll,
DeleteYes, Putin has done that and a whole lot more. To put it in current vernacular, Putin has been played, big-time.
IF he survives this, his future is even more bleak. IF he is is Gog of Magog, chief of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, then the thoughts that will come to him will be his end in Israel.
Putin thought Ukraine would be a cake walk, over and done in a week. His troops had just that much field rations; they were not provisioned with a ward's worth of MRE's. His troops have been forced to plunder for their essential sustenance in small Ukrainian towns and they got ambushed and slaughtered when dismounting their combat vehicles for spoils.
As for the West, there's a very good reason why Scripture asks "Who can make war with the Beast?" It possesses weaponry the likes of which the world has never seen before. I'll leave it at that.
And there are big changes coming in Europe, we'll get our first glimpse of them in a few days.
I think the bride is taken up before the Two Witnesses (Elijah and Enoch perhaps) appear in Jerusalem. They will cause havoc on earth to all but the 144,000 and the 70th Week saints who are marked on their foreheads with the sign of God.
We must look up.
Marana'tha!
Imagine what will happen in Syria with 40,000 of Al-Assad's best troops being flown to Russia for combat duty in Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteThe vanguard of these Syrian troops arrived in Russia today.
The ISW's Current SITREP for 20MAR22:
ReplyDeleteThe Ukrainian General Staff reported for the first time that the Kremlin is preparing its population for a “long war” in Ukraine and implementing increasingly draconian mobilization measures, including deploying youth military organization members aged 17-18.
Ukrainian forces reportedly killed three Russian regimental commanders in the last 24 hours.
Russia’s Wagner Group will likely facilitate the deployment of Libyan fighters to Ukraine.
Russian forces are digging in to positions around Kyiv, including the first reports of the war of Russian forces deploying minefields.
Ukrainian forces repelled a Russian assault on Izyum, southeast of Kharkiv, and inflicted heavy casualties.
Russian forces continued their slow advance into Mariupol but did not achieve any major territorial gains.
Ukrainian forces launched further localized counterattacks around Mykolayiv.
Russia is using its nuclear-capable hypersonic Khinzal missiles launched from strategic strike aircraft. Use of this weapon in Ukraine is merely to signal NATO of Russia's willingness to use them against NATO, with nuclear warheads if necessary. Putin threatened this in the first day of this war.
DeleteRussia is forcibly abducting thousands civilians from besieged Mariupol and sending them into Russia. Ethnic cleansing.
Russia says Mariupol will be completely leveled if the city does not capitulate in the next four hours.
Ukraine has rejected the Russian ultimatum for Mariupol to surrender.
DeleteThe Russian Federation may break diplomatic relations with United States. Watching...
ReplyDeletePoland to send "peacekeeper" force into Ukraine? Other NATO/EU countries may also vote to participate?
ReplyDeleteI hinted at this last week, should know by Thur-Fri what the facts are.
Sean, according to this article https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/biden-blames-jews-ukraine-policy
ReplyDeleteIt appears as though the U.S. has been setting Israel up with Russia for a long time. It seems as though things could escalate pretty fast from here on out.
Thanks for your continued due diligence
Maranatha
Joe,
DeleteI agree completely, stated early on the Globalists were fomenting this war.
Israel is being set up, but as with all things, He's got this!
Ukraine forces have counter-attacked and retaken Makariv from the Russians. Makariv is an important suburb west of Kyiv. The retaking Makariv, combined with the arrival of an assortment of new weapons from NATO and reinforcements, may enable the Ukrainians to outflank and encircle Russian tank and troop columns northwest of Kyiv.
ReplyDeleteRussian logistics lines are greatly exposed. High priority targets are fuel trucks, food and C2 (Command & Control) assets.
Instead of updating, we'll just leave it here for reference in the near future. Moving on to SITREP B5-22.
DeleteFrom Interfax Ukraine today, and directly relative to Global SITREP B4-22: A Covenant Among Many.
ReplyDelete"It is important for Ukraine that Israel become one of the guarantors of an international treaty on security guarantees, which would provide clear security guarantees for Ukraine after the end of the war with Russia, Andriy Yermak, the head of the President's Office, said.
"Israel could indeed become one of the guarantors of an international treaty on security guarantees, since it must understand us like no one else. Such an agreement provides for an extensive list of potential guarantor countries. Therefore, we hold separate consultations with each country in order to meet all together later."
I would suggest folks revisit the text of SITREP B4-22.
DeleteThe Ukrainian desire to include Israel as a guarantor among the many other treaty guarantors is significant beyond words I can express right now, except to say
This is huge!
Ben,
ReplyDeleteYes, the map effectively illustrates the issue of the origin of the covenant among many. The problem is it links to Twitter. There are more detailed illustrations available, Reddit has a good one.
