Global SITREP B2-23: Bibi

Benjamin 'Bibi' Netanyahu

17 April 2023: Romans 13:1 declares "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." Accordingly, SITREP B2-23 casts a special spotlight on Benjamin 'Bibi' Netanyahu as he has clearly been appointed by God for a great many years to lead Israel in these last days

In fact, when discussing these last days with respect to the current State of Israel, there are many indices and or symbols to consider as reflective of this generation, but Bibi may be the personification of the generational index simply because Bibi, the son of BenZion Netanyahu, was born in 1948, one year after the fulfillment of Isaiah 66:8 in which was Israel's rebirth occurred in a single day. He is the first leader of Israel born after its declaration of independence; next month Israel will celebrate it's 75th year, Bibi Netanyahu his

The image above is of the 23-year old Bibi Netanyahu in the IDF uniform of the elite Sayeret Matkal special forces. If you want to read more, there's an excellent article authored by Gerard Baker published yesterday in The Washington Free Beacon, titled: All About the Benjamin. As the article makes clear, Netanyahu is very well equipped in what comes next for Israel. But even more importantly he's been appointed by God to be Israel's longest serving leader in this generation.

  1. "All About the Benjamin" struck a chord in me, making this SITREP a must.

  2. As for "what comes next for Israel" (we've covered this indepth of late) and Bibi's life-long preparation for it, INN published this piece today:

As stated many times on Eschatology Today, this fulfillment of prophecy will definitively eclipse Israel's wars of 1948, 1967, 1973 and 2006 combined. That is why God inspired Israel's ancient prophets to write about them specifically.

  5. Opposition news reports from Syria:

The IDF attacked Hezbollah and IRGC proxy positions in Quneitra, Syria with artillery circa 1 AM Israel time this morning.

Combat operations in the dead of night is a key component of the Isaiah 17 prophecy.

    1. It turns out (no real surprise here) that the positions occupied by Hezbollah and IRGC Quds Force proxies are actually Syrian army positions. Israel has warned Syrian Army troops to steer clear of these positions.

  6. Sean, I am a bit confused by the US military buildup in Syria and its place in the prophetic Scriptures that we have our eyes glued to. The US is clearly not involved in action during the Ezek War, so we look to Ps 83 and I find it odd that our nation is sitting in enemy territory while the enemies are "consulting together with one accord" (PS 83) to destroy Israel. I honestly am confused by our nation's involvement and wondering what I am missing? LD

    1. LD,
The issue here is about the sequence of prophetic fulfillments.

The key here is that there is no mention of Syria or of Damascus after Isaiah 17. The country and the city cease to exist as a result of the conflict. So, this is why neither Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38/39 reference Syria as an adversary against Israel.

Another consideration as far as the US and Coalition military forces are concerned is they they operate mostly east of the Euphrates River.

Israel will expand in the future as far as the western bank of the Euphrates River. This part of Syria is known from antiquity as Aram Damascus, and to the east the territory was known as Assur or Assyria, i.e. Iraq, Kurdistan or Mesopotamia.

    2. LD,

To continue, I believe the primary prophetic "dominoes" will fall in something close to the sequence:

      1.) Jeremiah 49:34-39

      2.) Isaiah 17

      3.) Psalm 83 (with Joshua 13:1-7, Isaiah 11:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26)

      4.) Ezekiel 38/39

      5.) Daniel 9 (Israel's 70th Week of Years).

    3. Thank you, Sean. So much happening, and at warp speed! And we are here for such a time as this! God bless. LD

    4. Thank you LD.
And passing along this information is the reason why Eschatology Today has existed for the past 14 years. Any day now might be the last...

    5. I've often wondered if the first 2 will occur simultaneously, then the 3rd and 4th...I used to think the first 3 would occur simultaneously, but it seems obvious that the 3rd would occur shortly AFTER the first 2

    6. Jon,
Jeremiah 49:34-39 is #1 because it is already in a process of fulfillment due to the ongoing popular revolt against the regime. Then the breaking of the bow - foremost of their military might. The reduction of Irans offensive military power reduces their participation in Ezekiel 38/39 to that of a second tier player along with Kuwsh and Phut.

Isaiah 17 I do believe follows in very short order, and the Psalm 83 scenario fully erupts.

All of these have some aspects already occurring as Ezekiel 28:24-26 accurately describes as prickly thorns all around Israel.

Then a short period of recovery, consolidation, peace and a sense of safety prior to Gog getting the Lord's hooks in the jaws, dragging them into destruction.

Somewhere in all of this... HARPAZO according to the past tense verbage of Ezekiel 39:29.

  7. Sean, good to know that we are in agreement on the likely sequence of the prophetic dominoes.

    1. Chuck,
Indeed we are! The sequence of dominoes falling has become ever clearer in recent years - which is as Gabriel told Daniel it would be (and is now)!

  8. I do believe, even though not being at all fond of speculations and date-setting, that the Bride of Christ could be "caught up" in the very near future. Marana'tha!

Many knowledgeable brethren claim Pentecost 2023 could be the day or hour no man can know, not even the angels, but God only.

Do I deny this? No, I do not. I believe our Harpazo to be with the Lord evermore is very close and could happen at any moment. I do believe we are "in season."

    1. I have many friends who hold the same view concerning pentecost 2023. I personally do not hold that view, but I don't deny it either and they have good reasons to believe it.
That said, we're close regardless. I personally think it won't be more than 5 years away

    2. Gary Stearman/J.R. Church of Prophecy in the News and later Prophecy Watchers pointed out the floating nature of the Shavuot feast over two or three days so there is your unknown day or hour. Even if someone called out a day, nobody is likely to zero in on an hour and the event could coincidentally fall on that day. They would still be unknowledgeable and only guessing.

  9. For Eschatology Today readers this INN headline is nothing even close to resembling a surprise:

Defense Minister Galant: "Israel is preparing for a multifront war."

  10. Avigdor Lieberman, contrary to what has been said in this SITREP about Bibi Netanyahu, is all over Israeli mass media saying the following:

"Netanyahu and his cabinet are not ready for a military conflict and cannot lead it. The Prime Minister today is unfit to serve."

Lieberman opines the coming war will only be more of a threat to Israel than the 1973 Yom Kippur War, and in so doing
he impugns the entire Likud-Religious Zionist Coalition cabinet as incapable of dealing with the looming threat.

Lieberman DOES NOT say how he would be capable of leading Israel in that scenario, or that he's been appointed by God to the task.

Yet clearly Bibi Netanyahu has been so appointed.

I'd suggest they all read Isaiah 17 for starters.

What is blatantly obvious is that a highly classified, secular intelligence assessment is circulating in the upper echelons of Israeli government circles. It's only hinted at in media reports, but it has folks like Lieberman, et al, quaking in their britches.

Most importantly, there's zero evidence of faith in the God of Israel or in Archangel Michael's and his angelic army's role in defense of Israel, or in what has been written by Israel's inspired prophets of old.

    Zero, zip, nada.

    That's about to change drastically.

    1. The war in Sudan (Kuwsh) that exploded this week has reached crisis proportions.

US Special Forces and a heavy US military presence is currently evacuating the Embassy in Khartoum and US citizens out of the country.

What happens in Sudan ripples across Africa especially Egypt and Ethiopia. King of the South, right on schedule.

    2. The fighting in Sudan is a proxy war between the US (West) and Russia (North). It is to prevent a Russian naval base and military presence in Sudan on the Red Sea. There may be a 72-hour truce, but fighting will resume. Africans are killing Africans in this big power proxy war which has direct implications for Bible prophecy (Ezekiel 38/39).
