For some time now Eschatology Today has held to the expectation for Israel via the IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police to execute an unprecedented, large-scale counter-terror military operation throughout Judea and Samaria. Therefore it was not unanticipated that an acknowledgement of such action would be forthcoming. Moreover, just yesterday that the ruling coalition government of Israel made clear that it has always known the required measures to be taken in order to return Israel to a situation of economic prosperity and security for all of the people of Israel.
The hiding in plain sight takeaway here is that the "required measures to be taken" have heretofore been thus far thwarted by political considerations, be they foreign or domestic, but most likely both.
However, within the statement made by the Chairman of World Likud and former Israeli U.N. Ambassador, MK Danny Danon, a brief excerpt from the acknowledgment may just serve as a forewarning of the expected military actions. Quoting MK Danon (emphasis added):
"As a member of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Security Committee and several subcommittees, I know the strength and the power of the IDF. The current situation cannot and will not continue. We will not remain silent at the ongoing provocations and waves of attacks. In the coming year we will use all our strength to restore governance and personal security to the citizens of Israel."
Yom Kippur for 2023 begins at sunset on 24 September and ends at nightfall on 25 September. This defines the start of "in the coming year" from the Israeli perspective. Might these be "Days of Awe" not seen in the past 50 years, that is since the Days of Awe preceding Yom Kippur 1973? We'll seen soon enough; this one's on a short fuse.

11 SPTEMBER 2023: Defense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed a couple hours ago Israeli orbital intelligence imagery show the air base constructed by Iran (IRGC_QF) on Lebanese territory for use against the citizens of Israel. The airbase is located just 12 miles from Israel's border with Lebanon. DM Gallant pointed out via photo enlargement (below) that the Iranian national flag flies over the air base along with the terrorist Hezbollah flag.
DM Gallant said, "In other words: the land - Lebanese, the control - Iranian, the target - Israel."
Depending on the frequency of events, which will only increase going forward, a new SITREP will post as necessary, or upon the number of comments reaching 70 in total.

Galant's statement was essentially along the lines of don't even think about it, regardless of whether they plan to strike from Jerusalem, Judea or Samaria. Enemies in Iran, Iraq, Syria or Lebanon had seriously better think twice.

ReplyDeleteRussia has to form a coalition because God declared it to Ezekiel two and a half millenniums ago. He knows all, He knew what is taking place today that would require military allies for such an attempt to invade Israel. He's even foretold the precise result of it - disaster for all these enemy nations. And we see today the formation of the coalition in daily headlines and updates to the combat taking place.
One other thing. Not only is Russia being reduced militarily, but so too will Iran be militarily reduced in the very near future, as are Puwt and Kuwsh being reduced through constant warfare in recent years. And there's more in store for Syria as well. Big changes coming!
We're likely to watch in near real-time why the posting of this SITREP was delayed for so long. Israel has explicitly warned every and all enemies to remain silent during the Yamim Nora'im holy days. The most recent warning was given to HAMAS that any rocket fire will trigger a very harsh military response.

And in Jesus' 'Olivet Discourse' on the Mount of Olives He begins by talking about the stone by stone destruction of the 2nd Temple. Then our Lord begins a litany of signs to be seen and events to occur, and all of them have thus far come to pass in the 1,953 years since the destruction of the Temple -- except for one!
That one event is a rebuilt Temple as implicitly stated in Matthew 24:15 ("when you see standing in the Holy Place the abomination of Desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel" (let whoever reads understand).
This is what I have come to understand. There is one major event yet to occur which our Lord prophesied in Truth about the Temple Mount and what will soon be standing upon it. We've discussed this before, and especially with respect to the arrival of the LORD's Two Witnesses.

If we take Psalm 90:10 at literal, not just hypothetical, value, 80 years marks the upper limit of a life span. Thus, 2028. Less 7 years would put us in the Tribulation now, which I don't believe we are, but the waves are sure beating at the shore! Given the convergence of all the signs of the times occurring presently not to mention the exponential explosion of AI (and the planned uses of it), I agree we can't be here much longer. DeleteSome will opine the 1948 + 80 leaves only a minimum of five years remaining and doubt it's a literal declaration. I disagree because that opinion places a limit on what our sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God can accomplish according to His appointed times, His will.

DeleteThe IAF struck the port facility in Tartus, Syria in the past hour with missiles launched from aircraft orbiting over the Mediterranean Sea. Both Syrian and Russian air defense batteries were activated. Hezbollah reportedly has four soldiers KIA in the strike. No Israeli losses reported.

ReplyDeleteSyria as a country ("the kingdom") has been undergoing near constant dismemberment since the onset of the Syrian Civil War in 2010-11. As of today the al-Assad government of the biblical "Aram Damascus" has no control over most of the country and is highly dependent on Russia and Iran to maintain its control over the western coastal regions. Turkey has control of northern Syria, the SDF and the US-led Coalition control northeastern and southeastern Syria, Iran and its proxies control the al-Bukamal-al-Qaim region on the Iraqi border.
It's not much of an interpretive exercise to envision the future of Syria with the sudden wartime destruction of the capital Damascus.
This past week the Israel Air Force and the Hellenic (Greek) Air Force concluded long-range missions between Israel and Greece that culminated in the delivery of live ordnance on select target ranges located on Greek territory. These missions were inclusive of multiple types of strike fighters, refueling tankers and combat control aircraft, and were sucessfully accomplished even in less than ideal weather conditions. One look at a regional map is all that is needed to ID the simulated (reciprocal bearing) military targets.

Iran has "de-designated" approximately one-third of the core of the IAEA's most experienced and expert enrichment inspectors designated for Iran. These enrichment inspectors were all from France and Germany. The US and UK have exactly zero IAEA inspectors designated to work in Iran. Handwriting on the wall.

ReplyDeleteFor the past year the IDF's 52nd Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade has been training intensely with the new 5th Generation (5G) of the Merkava Main Battle Tank (MBT). This 5G Merkava is known as the Barak (Lightning) MBT.
No other MBT like the Barak on planet Earth exists at the present time; it is a technological masterpiece and gives new meaning to Ezekiel 37s "exceedingly great army." I would describe the Barak MBT as a "starship" of current and future ground combat capabilities.
So, it's appropriate to note after the above comment that IDF Merkava (Chariot) III or IV tanks opened fire and destroyed two structures that enemy forces had set up on Israeli territory on the Golan Heights. It is irrelevant if the structures were the work of Syrian, Iranian or Hezbollah forces, the point is that they were promptly destroyed.

Suddenly there's tremendous interest in what will take place, prophetically, in the next 7 months, and beginning today and ending on 22 April 2024 when the first red heifer is to be sacrificed on the Mount of Olives directly across from where the 2nd Temple once stood. We discussed this recently.
