Global SITREP C7-18: GAZA Part II

War on Terror in Gaza

9 August 2018: The coming hours will indicate to us if this round of war in the south of Israel will lead to the literal fulfillment of Isaiah 11:14, possiblt as one aspect of the over-arching Psalm 83 scenario. Indications are this morning that Israel's government is prepared to engage in full-scale war against the terrorists to the point of their complete and permanent erradication inthe Gaza Strip.

Eschatology Today believes this round was provoked by the Iranians leaning on HAMAS as a means to off-balance the IDF from the coming war in the north of the country. The Iranians forget that the IDF is more than capable of fighting on three fronts simultaneously and even taking the war to the Red Sea choke points and beyond, even to Iranian shores. This may well turn out to be the Iranian Twelver regime's greatest miscalculation.

The global media have already begun to savage Israel in the wake of the IAF's preemptory, or preparatory, strikes against terrorist command and control. Civilian life will be lost, it is inevitable in war.

8 PM - Just another round of HAMAS terror rockets and IAF air strikes. Something major has to change for the Israeli government to cut the IDF loose. So we wait.

Update 13 August 2018: Not if, but when That's how DM Avigdor Liberman characterized the prospect of renewed clashes with HAMAS in Gaza. To that we should probably add, sooner rather than later, because the situation is akin to burning embers that need nothing to ignite but a fresh terrorist provocation. There is no ceasefire, just a temporary pause in hostilities.

Renewed war will happen; it's the jihadist way of things because there is no such thing as a permanent peace with them. The necessity to achieve the results Netanyahu promised yesterday is for Israel's armed forces to destroy HAMAS completely, otherwise the "game" that is being played between Israel and HAMAS will continue indefinitely. Make no mistake, permanently eradicating HAMAS is precisely what Isaiah 11:14 foretells.

  1. I think that this can easily turn into a direct war with Iran in which Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities. As a retalation for that, Iran would invade Israel together with Russia and Turkey, fulfilling the long-prophetized Gog Magog war.

  2. I can agree with your first sentence, Moin, but I believe the completion of your second sentence will come after Israel has substantially expanded her territory as a result, enjoyed peace and prosperity for a short while and then Gog will come up with his evil plan.

  3. We wait. This thing is, when it happens it will happen in a way no one has anticipated in advance. Speculations are worthless.

  4. Sean and Company,

By this time, the people of southern Israel must be very worn out by the continued provocations that is directed at them by Hamas and our greatest weapon in defense for them is our prayers. Keep on expecting a strong resounding response and getting a little more than disgusted over the delays.

Letting you men do all of the military skill discussions and keeping busy doing what I can do to be a factor in the defeat of the enemy.

    1. GG5,

Yes, the Israelis attempting to live a normal life around Gaza are just fed up with this nonsense. Fit to be tied.

  5. Dear Sean: You wrote...."The coming hours will indicate to us if this round of war in the south of Israel will lead to the literal fulfillment of isaiah 11:14

Have we passed "the coming hours" or could it still occur?

    1. Margaret,

As I wrote on Thursday evening, "We wait. This thing is, when it happens it will happen in a way no one has anticipated in advance."

This is because God is in complete control.

That said, and unfortunately, I'm reasonably certain the IDF will not be cut loose until a major mass casualty attack from Gaza has taken place.

Bibi Netanyahu is too concerned with global PR than he is for the citizens of southern Israel.

God is bringing Israel to place their faith in Him, not Bibi.

  6. When Gaza started attacking in 2006, I was almost certain that that would lead to the final fulfillment of psalm 83, It seemed that all of the components were there but it fizzled out to nothing. 2 years later I thought the same thing and again nothing. Then we had 8 years of Obama, I don't think anything needs to be said about that lol. I must confess that I have since quit watching and have taken a wait and see attitude. That said, I do believe things are different this time with trump in office because I believed trump would not only give is real permission, But would also help them in any way possible to defend themselves and annihilate the enemy. Which is far different from Bush, Clinton and Obama.

  7. Mr. Rich, let me get this straight...while the lawless one “Obama” was using U.S. tax payer money to over throw Bibi Netanyahu during his past election. Withholding U.S. arms from Israel during the 2014 Operation protective edge, not to mention the U.S. closing off Israels commercial air traffic for 24 hours, all the while Mr Bush hadn’t a peep to say about it. But with PDT, Bush has come out criticizing him and jumping on the liberal band wagon to cast stones along with all the rest of the Trump derangement camaraderie.

Now I guess that it’s you who are mistaken as to Trump being just like his predessesors. Think about this, perhaps what God has temporarily saved us from was dying prematurely. Had Hillary stolen the election we would be resembling a combination of London, Germany, Russia, China and North Korea today...no boarders, no patriotism, no God, no men and no women.

You asked the question, where are we during the Gog Magog war? Where do you think our army would be if the rapture were to remove the saints of Jesus Christ just prior to this prophetic event? Now reread the above paragraph again and wonder again where our army will be.

Also, as it was in the days of Lot, so it will be...Maranatha and may God truly bless everyone here who visits this site.

  8. These wars are determined “like a flood”. Hamas, Hezbolla, Iran, Syria and now Turkey. These economies are hurting and the pressure is mounting. War is the prophetic destiny. The war will come and most observers can sense this. As you said Sean, some will go to far such as a kidnapping or terrorist strike inside Israel. This is also a spiritual battle of good vs evil. This evil is plain to see every where you look, every where...
    Zechariah 12:3
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Why would Israel become a burden to EVERY ONE the world over? Because evil hates light and Israel is the bearer of light unto the world.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
1 Thes 5:3 For when they shall say, PEACE AND SAFETY; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The world is in alignment. Israel and her neighbors are in alignment. The greatest and most fortunate USA is also in alignment. The signs are in alignment. For when the trumpet sounds, darkness will prevail the world over.

Come Lord Jesus, come, I Pray.

  9. Joe,
Great comments and so thoroughly agree 100% ! Needed to read and absorb your great words of wisdom and it is refreshing.

Now I am going to state something here that I have avoided for a long time but there comes a time when old women need to speak up!

So Rich, you stated an opinion of what you value the President of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA promise to always defend Israel! You stated it like this " no different' from his predecessors, even for Israel" and went on to say the POTUS is no different than any other previous president or administration. That takes a lot of guts for you to make such a so called "well founded and informed opinion" of anyone unless you are a very close member of his family or a confidante of the highest order and I doubt that would include you. There are various proofs of your lack of standing within the pre-stated groups of people.

None of the so-called experts have believed anything that Pres. Trump has promised to do before but HE did DO them except for the southern border wall and that is a work in progress. No one believed that Jerusalem would ever become the recognized capital of Israel by the world and certainly not the exact location of the US Embassy to Israel. I don't consider that the prior administrations of the USA are even close to being the same quality or truthful friend of Israel but I do believe Pres. Trump is most sincere in his statements. Pres. Trump has also advanced the dedication to the USA by all of the members of his cabinet and staff. Unlike the previous administration, we are a Christian Nation and have been from the first feet that were planted here on the wonderful soil of the New World which became the USA.

Now, do you start calling everyone names because we don't agree with you or will you take your high hat off and sit down and learn a whole lot of what you really do need to learn as quickly as possible. Time is wasting and I for one have no desire to waste anymore time on foolishness and politics. This blog is not about politics and if it were you would still be a babe in arms when it comes to addressing your elders here.

  10. Well put Granny! (Every time you comment I think of granny from Beverly hillbillies lol) My original intent was merely to point out the difference between Trump and Bush SR. Clinton, Bush JR. and Obama IN REGARDS TO ISRAEL, and how things are different because with Trump Israel has more freedom to deal with enemies accordingly. It was NOT to be about politics.

  11. Question, Sean: back in 2006 Jordan was a strong ally to Israel, unless I'm mistaken, is that still the case today, and if a war broke out, whose side would Jordan be on today?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hartdawg,

Jordan (Ammon, Moab, Edom) and it's 1994 peace treaty with Israel will be abbrogated at some point.

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is officially the custodian of "holy shrines" in Jerusalem.

In Israel there are MKs that want to strip this custodianship from Jordan, and in Jordan there are MPs who call for the cancellation of the '94 peace treaty with Israel.

Jerusalem issues or war against "Palestinians" in Judea, Samaria and Gaza will likely be a trip-wire to cause the abbrogation of the treaty.

Isaiah 11:14, Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 28:24-26 all point to Jordan being in the enemy camp.
