24 November 2021: For nearly a full twelve years Eschatology Today has been keyed to the the Psalm 83 war scenario as a paradigm shifting event. The major domino to fall in a series of rapid events on the proverbial Road to the Revelation of Jesus Christ, a/k/a the '70th Week of Years.'
The sum of this prophetic scenario is the combination of Psalm 83 and its parallel prophecies by Isaiah (11:12-14) and Ezekiel (28:24-26) as well as Isaiah 17 and Joshua 13:1-7. To these we also add Jeremiah 49:23-27 and Jeremiah 49:34-39. All of these should be read as being part of a whole prophetic narrative to be fulfilled prior to the '70th Week of Years' which we also know as the Thlipsis and Megas Thlipsis (Tribulation and Great Tribulation). These prophecies are kinetic warfare enabled by the technology of the 21st century. These are lightning-quick missile warfare.
There is a member of the Israeli Knesset from the Likud by the name of Nir Barkat. He spoke today at a conference held at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Eschatology Today views statements he made there as being a very precise summation of the prophetic scenario about to be fulfilled in the near-term as has been discussed on this blog over the course of the past twelve years.
"In the next attack, with missiles coming from Lebanon, this will not be the Third Lebanon War, this will be the First Iran War. I think we are not properly assessing the threat coming from Iran that plans to act against us in six arenas: The Lebanese, the Gazan, the long-range missiles, the attempt to establish itself in Syria, Judea and Samaria and there is also a new threat from home - some residents of the State of Israel."
MK Nir Barkat continued with,
"The Iranian conventional threat requires us to rethink how we not only harm Lebanon when we are attacked by the Iranian proxy sitting in Lebanon, but how we harm Tehran. So that when the Iranians in Tehran want to order Hezbollah to open fire against Israel, their voice will tremble because they will know that they themselves would be harmed in Tehran - and they are no longer protected."
That's quite a summation from the former mayor of Jerusalem of ten years (2008-2018). In the view of Eschatology Today the above quotes are prescient and descriptive in an almost peculiar prophetic yet secular sense. That may be the net result of Barkat's in-depth knowledge of modern military tactics due to his six years of service as a former elite IDF paratrooper. Major Nir Barkat was wounded during combat operations in Lebanon, and knows of what he speaks. He may also be aware of the above Old Testament prophecies as well. Whatever the case, his words have a profound resonance.
As has been stated before, any one of Israel's strikes at Iranian or Hezbollah targets in Syria could be the one which begins the toppling of the precisely arranged prophetic dominoes. There was another IAF strike in Homs, Syria mere hours ago as this SITREP began being composed. There were casualties in the strike. Eyes on continued developments, updates as they occur.
Syrian claims are often dubious propaganda. There are reports of military and civilian deaths in tonight's strike near Homs.

So, the summary is 2 -4 killed and up to 7 injured is a large-scale IAF strike on a Hezbollah facility in the western district of Homs, Syria. The attack preempted a weapons shipment to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Keep in mind that Isaiah 17, paraphrased, says the warfare occurs at night, and by morning the enemy is gone. We are seeing this very template repeated every few days in Syria.
Just so there is no ambiguity... in the quoted text of MK Nir Barket in the SITREP, the phrase ...and there is also a new threat from home - some residents of the State of Israel" is a direct reference to the assault weapons and ordnance being smuggled into Israel for Arab-Israelis to use as 5th column support of the enemy nations against military and civilian targets throughout the country.

DeleteThe prophecy of Ezekiel 7:14, is instructive, the enemies of Israel have prepared for war, but their actual attack will be forestalled by the Lord- He will destroy them all, as Psalms 83:13-17 and many other prophesies make clear.

DeleteI don't spend much time on prophetic fulfillments, it's just the nature of this blog to focus on the prophecy in the process of active or near-future fulfillments.
I see Daniel 7 as being the same prophetic fulfillment that Daniel 9:26 was, both having been fulfilled in 66-73 AD with the destruction of the land of Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple.
When Psalm 83 war is beginning, will also war erupt between Russia and the European NATO allies regarding Ukraine, and between China and Taiwan?

DeleteOther nations military actions being concurrent with the Psalm 83 scenario is entirely possible. Scripture says nothing about other nations intervening in the ultimate fulfillment of Psalm 83. The nations involved in Psalm 83 are explicitly named by the prophets Asaph, Isaiah and Ezekiel as we've discussed many times in the past 12 years of archives.
What Jesus did say would occur with global war and akatastasia were the accompanying birth pangs of (all in the plural):

Now comes the most concerning SARS-CoV-2 variant yet, the B.1.1.529 variant in South Africe which has no fewer than 32 mutations of the spike protein.
I'm wondering if the Restrainer is protecting the bride of Christ from these biological afflictions.
I've seen exactly zero research or even raw numbers published on how many of the bride have been infected.
All I do know is my own experience with an out of the blue case of HPIV just prior to SARS-CoV-2 becoming pandemic, and how the antibodies from that infection have kept all of the SARS-CoV-2 variants at bay for the last 21 months. Immunity?
Got me wondering.

According to the South African physician who discovered the Omicron variant last week, it may be a "storm in a teapot" or much ado about nothing.
DeleteConfirmed cases thus far are very, very mild, folks back to normal in two days or so, with ZERO CASES requiring hospitalization.
From the admittedly small amount of research I have done, this is the same tentative conclusion I have come to as well - the the Omicron variant is being over hyped. Time will tell.

I think we should actually just rename the virus the "Xi Virus, Variant 1, variant 2, etc. I'm reading a fascinating book called "What really happened in Wuhan" by a highly respected investigative journalist out of Australia named Sharri Markson. If anyone has the time and mean to get ahold of this book, I highly recommend it.

Anyone visiting that site will find there are hundreds of variants, more than most folks reading this blog will ever care to read about much less count, if that were even possible or desirable. And it's eminently confusing for most folks.
For example, the recently designated Omicron variant is actually the (beta) B.1.1.529 variant, but there is enough different about its mutations to re-designate it as the Omicron variant. Additionally among all variants there are thousands of distinct mutations, so that some actually have two Greek letter designations, such as Alpha Epsilon .1 through .8 (AE.1 - AE.8). There are variants unique to individual states or even specific regions of foreign countries. Yup, there's far to much info at this site, but it gives excellent insight as to what lineage a given variant-of-concern (VOC) has emerged from.

I won't lie... you were exactly (or mostly) right about the site perhaps containing "too much information," But to me, that just simply means I need to develop the ability to discern what I need to know, and find that from the source.
This is something you might be able to relate to (Either to agree or disagree with).
When I was in College, I took a course of warfare from a visiting professor. (And I went to a fairly effective university (notice how I don't say "prestigious" because that doesn't mean anything to me anymore, even though is was and IS considered a top university).
I any case, back to my point, the subject of intelligence acquisition was one of the topics of one of the professor's lectures. (He was the real deal. He served. He had to use hearing aids because of his experiences in an artillery unit.)
In any case, he once was talking about Satellite technology and it's usefulness for military intelligence. Mid-lecture, he said that one of the major problems with our intelligence gaining apparatus is, that, it provides TOO MUCH information to the point that seeing a clear picture of what is going on is actually FAR MORE DIFFICULT now.
Well, I raised my hand and, very politely asked, simply "Really, I mean, is that really true? I would think the more info you have, the better."
He accepted my question in the honest sense it was made and went on to explain what he meant. He made a compelling case, although, I think a more developed means of screening and interpreting the information could possible solve that problem.
Anyways, my answer has easily strayed off topic, so feel free to no publish. I won't feel insulted. However, if you have anything to say about the issue, please email me.

ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to intel collection and dissemination, there are several things that occur prior to dissemination.
After collection all intel is collated and then corroborated. Then analysis happens. The end intel product is distributed on a need-to-know basis, and then based upon level of clearance. Raw intel is never disseminated. An arty unit would not be in receipt of air intel, meaning intel is segmented and compartmentalized specific to the end user.
Also, sources and methods of collection or often classified and not disseminated to protect those assets.
This is an obviously late reply, but thank you for that explanation. Like I mentioned, I was skeptical of this professor's claim (even though I haven't mentioned his name, please don't think badly of him. He was actually a good teacher, even if he was wrong about this. (no one is perfect). Best regards.

Interesting Sean, but am I unreasonable in thinking that both the logistics as well as the political fallout (no pun intended) would be far, far less, the the last two times Israel bombed a nuclear reactor? Or, better yet simply take care of piecemeal construction bit by bit the same way Israel takes out shipments of munitions flown into Syria?
