27 October 2015: U.S. SECDEF Ashton Carter just formally announced the introduction of US ground combat forces into the ongoing Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve warfighting action in Iraq and Syria. The SECDEF commented that the balance of forces had shifted in the favor of Bashar al-Assad's government.
This is our currently left-leaning government's attempt at double-speak to say that Russian and Iranian combat troops have tipped the balance of power in favor of al-Assad, so somehow the introduction of US combat troops into combat operations in Iraq and Syria can rectify this imbalance.
30 October 2015: The picture became a clearer today through reports filed by numerous corporate media entities. Why the size of the force and area of deployment for US Special Forces is being reported openly is beyond unfathomable to my mind, but this is clearly intended to be a type of more flexibility one-upsmanship and intentional leakage by the Obama Administration.
As reported, a total of 50 or less US special operations soldiers will be deployed into Kurdish-controlled regions of northern Syria with objective of bringing the war to the Islamic State's de facto capital at Raqqa. These troops are likely to enter Syria from Iraq because embedding US troops into Kurdish-controlled Syria will not be welcomed by Turkey. These US SoF boots are already deemed to be unwelcome by Syria, Russia and Iran.

Hi Sean!
ReplyDeleteI’d like to ask two time span related questions. I know we could only guess when it comes to that topic but I’m curious anyway. What do you think, how much time could pass between Damascus’ total destruction and the attack on Israel by her neighbors, which is written in Psalm 83? Also, how much time could possibly pass between the Psalm 83 war and the Gog-Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) battle?
Many thanks for your insight and help (sorry if you’ve already discussed this, I’m still a bit new here),
Nora
Hi Nora, and welcome to the blog!
ReplyDeleteI use the duration of a generation found in Psalm 90:10 (70 and 80 years) in eschatological extrapolation in the timing of pre-70th Week events. I apply these two spans of years to Israel's rebirth in May 1948.
A generation of 70 years (Israel's 70th year of existence) will come to a close in 2018.
With 2016 just barely two months away, this leaves very little time for Isaiah 17/Jeremiah 49:23-27 to achieve complete fulfillment. I'm talking here about a time-range of 12 to 36 months in total.
I believe the final battles of Psalm 83/Isaiah 11:14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26 commences immediately thereafter. These battles, as with Israel's other recent battles/wars are concluded in finality in, at most, a total of a year. The 1948 portion of the "Psalm 83 war" lasted 1 year, 3 months and 10 days; 1967 portion was a "Six Day War."; and the Yom Kippur War of 1973 lasted 15 days.
Then there is a period of time that is needed for Israel's recovering from this war prior to Ezekiel 38/39, which I believe will commence circa 2018/2021 and be of a very short duration measured in hours or days. They enemies arrive and are destroyed immediately. There is residual warfare (probably ICBM nuclear exchange) and this prophecy is finished in complete fulfillment.
That leaves the final ten years to complete the generation of strength within 2021-2028, and these ten years include the 70th Week, and which we know is 7 years in duration, and which must be the final seven years culminating in Jesus Second Coming with His bride following.
By this accounting there appears to be the years 2016 through 2021 for all of these prophecies to fulfill prior to the 70th Week.
I hope this answers your question, but if you're for some other detail just let me know.
Marana'tha!
Thanks for your kindness Sean, your answer was very informative!
ReplyDeleteLord bless,

Sean,
ReplyDeleteIt certainly appears that the prophetic timeline is getting tight now, isn't it?
Feels like very big events will arrive soon, whether we like it or not.
ReplyDeleteYes, very important events at that.
Not many have taken note, but we will, of the fact that soldiers from at least 30 nations hailing from all over the world are actively engaged in combat in the Middle East and on the periphery of Israel.
From the Sinai, to Syria to Iraq and to Yemen the combat forces of Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Syria, the Russian Federation, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Canada, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba, Colombia, the UAE, Kuwait, Kurdistan and Islamic terrorists from a couple dozens others are all fighting one another.
And fantasy football is the talk of the town these days.
Sean
ReplyDeleteHow so true, six months ago if anyone had told me that all the nations would be converging in the Middle East I would have laughed them off. Everyday I pick up a newspaper and right before my eyes scripture is being fulfilled. It's a pity many Christians are unaware of how close we are to getting home.
