24 January 2020: Ominous developments occurred this past weekend across the world's hot spots. Objects in motion tend to remain in motion, so the current inertia away from diplomatic endeavor and towards conflict became apparent over the last 72 hours. A quick synopsis follows.
In Eastern Europe: The Russian military continued the westward movement of very heavy weaponry toward Ukraine, and also in Russian troop deployment into neighboring Belarus. Putin, a true deceiver, could move to absorb Belarus into the Russian Federation prior to invading Ukraine. NATO allies (US and EU) took note of this and made the rapid transfer of all manner of war materiel forward deployed and into Ukraine a top priority. The US appears to have placed diplomacy on a back burner, opting instead to make known the contingency to reinforce NATO allies adjacent to the Ukraine with thousands of American combat troops. Some reports suggest the deployment number could quickly escalate from ten thousand to fifty thousand. In Ukraine artillery barrages by Ukrainian and Russian forces shattered any sense that a cease-fire was in effect. The publication of these reports is deliberate because they're normally kept in classified settings, well hidden from the public.
In the Pacific: Communist Chinese and Taiwanese air forces faced off against each other over the last 36 hours within Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). These face-offs have continued into today. This activity is occurring while two USS Aircraft Carrier Battle Groups of the USS Cark Vinson and the USS Abraham Lincoln have entered and begun operations in the South China Sea.
In the Middle East: Yemeni Houthi's and the Saudi-led military coalition are striking each other routinely of late. Houthi missiles supplied by Iran have struck both the UAE and Saudi Arabia this past weekend. Yesterday the Jerusalem Post published an OpEd titled "Israel Must Ready a Preemptive Strike Against Hezbollah." The article is unique for what it says Israel needs to do.
All of these hot spots are man-made hooks drawing the world into a possible world war, potentially even a nuclear war. We're watching for updates in real-time.
The Beijing Olympics run from 4 to 20 FEB. Some opine Putin will not upstage his partner Xi during this period; that if the further invasion of Ukraine is to proceed it will most likely occur this coming week - while the ground is frozen. Thawing in March would bog down Russian armor.

1. The Nazi nuclear program was preempted by direct, kinetic Allied actions.
2. America used two nuclear weapons to end hostilities with Imperial Japan.

ReplyDeleteI have always figured that Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38 would fall like domino's (to include Jesus' warnings in Matthew 24), but with everything happening, what is the likelihood of all of it being part of one major conflict? I mean, it would still be like domino's so-to-speak, but part of an overall / wider scale war. Is that possible?
And speaking of nuclear war, considering multiple countries involved in the current crisis' / conflicts have nuclear weapons; based on your understanding, who do you suppose would be the first to use them? Would Ukraine? Would Russia? Would the US? Would China?

A deeper Russian invasion into any part of Ukraine's territory will likely trigger up to 10 of the 30 EU and NATO nations, operating under a NATO C2 structure into entering Ukraine or operating in Ukraine from many former Warsaw Pact border nations to defend Kyiv's sovereignty AND bolster the EU/NATO's current eastern frontier, which includes the Russian-occupied Donbas, Crimea and the Black Sea.

One thing we'll not do here is engage in the practice of many other chat rooms and 'forums' which is known as "newspaper exegesis."
ReplyDeleteNewspaper exegesis is the attempt at shoe-horning (i.e. force fitting) media articles to fit a certain prophecy in Scripture.
This can be an accidental or intentional practice, so always be on guard for it.
An example would be the Temple Mount and what event(s) will result in the removal of the Dome of the Rock to enable construction of the 3rd Temple on that specific site.
We can also, at this time, speculate strongly regarding the prophetic fulfillment of Jeremiah 49, Isaiah 17, and the final fulfillment of the Psalm 83 related prophecies. We don't know what triggers they have for certain, but Scripture does provide indicators and we should be Bereans in seeking them out.

The US Army's 82nd and 101st airborne divisions with the 18th Airborne Corps are the tip of the spear totaling 8,500 troops hold at the ready to deploy within 5-days notice to the eastern border nations of NATO (Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria). Other US military is already present in northern Greece. Another half dozen US Army and Air Force units are also on the same deployment warning order (WARNORD) according to C-JCS Austin.
3.) The Union State response to the US/EU/NATO rejection of their demands is evident in the past few hours as Russian and Belarusian combat forced closed in large numbers upon Ukraines borders. To quote Biden to Zelenskiy, "Prepare for impact."

But I believe they are waiting for the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit working through us believers, to be taken out of the way. It's the formal beginning of something as yet undefined fully, but aspects of which are already functioning.
The announcement of the "Trilateral Alliance" may take place today in Kyiv when the PMs of the UK, Poland and Ukraine have their summit.

This is similar in scope to another European trilateral alliance, the "Lublin Alliance" of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine, which has essentially the same function.
Both of these new alliances are officially, and for the time being at least, outside the scope of NATO, and of the EU, even though the UK, Poland and Lithuania are NATO nations, and Poland and Lithuania are EU nations. It's hard to envision why the Union State would overlook the semantics here.

However, the emitters of jamming/spoofing of GPS signals cannot be Russian based at Hmeimim AB (near Latakia). Such signal have a range from about 100 meters minimum to 100 miles maximum. Hmeimim AB is well more than 350 miles north of any major airport in northern Israel.
The source is probably newly installed 5G towers in the area where interference has been noted.
This is a well-known problem with 5G towers near airport runways; also probably why Israel's government has not lodged a formal protest with Moscow -- they don't want to appear silly.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed an order to establish a full-time professional army in Ukraine.

The transition has a planned implementation over the next three years.

The Putin/Russian or Gog/Magog rushing of troops to surround Ukraine on 3 sides has a distinct prophetic purpose.
Ezekiel 38:7 explains that purpose:
"Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them."
Putin is guarding Iran's rush to nuclear weapons breakout, all Western eyes are watching his forces along those borders. His massed forces serve a as two-fold utility, as a threat to the West AND to distract and thus "guard" Iranian weapons activity, both the warhead and delivery system.
Or so he thinks. Israel is watching, and so are others.

If this is escalating (developing) like I perceive it to be... this should be all over the news. Don't get me wrong, it IS being covered my almost all of my mainstream news sources. But the coverage is rather loose, light, and lacking in depth. Shallow.
