30 September 2025: What comes next following PM Netanyahu's unmandated acceptance of Trump's "end the war" plan? A potential landslide of unintended consequences from Trump's grandiose Nobel Peace Prize gambit is more than likely to be unrestricted warfare.
3 October 2025: President Trump today issued on his Truth Social platform a "last chance" ultimatum to HAMAS to accept his peace plan by 6 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Sunday, October 5.
Trump claims 25,000 HAMAS soldiers have already been killed and the remainder will be hunted down to suffer the same fate if his peace plan is not accepted. According to Trump the remaining HAMAS soldiers "are surrounded and MILITARILY TRAPPED, just waiting for me to give the word, “GO,” for their lives to be quickly extinguished."
5 October 2025: Let's face facts, Trump's 3 or 4 day ultimatum to the Islamic jihadists (<i>let that sink in as to who and what they are, their religious ideology and what they did to 1,200 innocent human beings on 7OCT23</i>) has been an abject failure.
Eschatology Today wrote early on that it would be impossible for the Islamic jihadists to abide by Trump's dictate proposal to end the war. And they haven't. The jihadis have balked at the three most basic conditions of releasing all hostages within 72 hours, complete disarmament and renunciation of any future role in Gaza, nevermind the remaining seventeen or so items of Trump's proposal.
There are still <i>thousands</i> of heavily armed jihadists in Gaza with hundreds of hidden arsenals and undiscovered tunnel redoubts. This is beside the fact that Islamic jihadists never surrender to a non-islamic enemy. For 1,400 years no such surrender has ever taken place. Not even once.
So, does anyone truly believe that in twelve hours time (6 PM Washington time) HAMAS and Palestinian Islamic Jihad will surrender, disarm and release all living and deceased hostages?
By the way, since the Trump plan was made public the IDF has NOT relented from its combat operations in Gaza but has increased them.
FINAL UPDATE 10 October 2025: Despite media reports, and even American and Netanyahu government statements, that all of the IDFs military objectives have been achieved the facts of the matter are in diametric opposition to such pronouncements.
The various terrorist groups in Gaza, led by HAMAS, PIJ, al-Shaabab, PFLP and smaller formations of islamic jihadists, have NOT been defeated, removed from power, disarmed or removed from the territory of Gaza. In fact, in a very short period of time, perhaps as soon as Monday, 13 October, the lead jihadists of HAMAS will have de facto control of all territory abandoned under the Trump peace protocol negotiated by Witkoff and Kushner and a handful of Islamic governments.
Israel having lost well over 1,000 of its finest troops has also, at least temporarily, lost this particular war against Islamic jihadism in Gaza. In Lebanon the Hezbollah and Amal jihadists have not been defeated, are regrouping and rearming to re-engage in war with Israel.
What we hve now is yet another islamic hudna, a temporary time-out to the war. Both sides have gained lessons learned and the next massacre of innocents will make the October 7, 2023 massacre look pale in comparison. Syria and Jordan will join in the next conflict; Isaiah 17 indicates the death toll Israel will endure "in the day of disease and incurable pain."
There's precedent here for those with a certain type of temporary amnesia. In its first term (2017-2021) the Trump Administration "45" brokered FOUR Arab-Israel peace agreements. This war nearly trampled on all of them, the next one will trample on all of them despite Trump saying this deal ensures "an everlasting peace."
Bible prophecy assures that only Jesus Christ will bring an everlasting peace.
In his speech to the Israel people at 1 PM IST today, PM Netanyahu made clear that the IDF will resume combat operations in Gaza to neutralize the remaining terrorist elements "the hard way" should the current agreement fail. And fail it will.
Over the next day or so the Israeli right and religious Zionist reaction is sure to be an unprecedented spectacle. Hang on...
ReplyDeleteThe Trump Plan is a virtual "tush push" to get HAMAS, PIJ and their fellow terrorists over the goal line to a surrender in Gaza.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the Trump Plan will fail for one simple reason - it's not even close to being an acceptable islamic hudna, a ceasefire that allows islamic holy warriors to rearm, regroup and resume their jihad. Ikhwan Muslimun jihadists have no choice but to reject it.
I read that Hamas was given 72 hours to except the deal or Isreal has Trumps full support in finishing them off. Could this entire deal be under the assumption that Hamas won't accept it and the consequences are already planned out ? Sounds like an Iranian deal 2.0
DeleteTrump, Witkoff, Bibi and Dermer have all known from the get-go that Islamists would never submit to a set of non-Islamic dictates.
DeleteNext 48 hours should be interesting. Tommy Webb
DeleteYom Kippur begins at sunset tonight, that must factor into all of this somehow....
ReplyDeleteThe 72 hours are lining up with Yom Kipper fairly closely. Quite interesting that the U.N. Is making announcements on Rosh Hashanah and Trump is rolling dates out to Yom Kipper. I’m in awe.

There's big trouble brewing in the Middle East between Iran, the US, Israel and Qatar.
ReplyDeleteUS military power is surging in once again. Trump signed a defense pact with Qatar. Bibi apologized to Qatar, essential for the US-Qatar defense pact which also may include Israel.
I've been reading Iran is threatening an imminent military action... Sources may or may not be sketchy.. but a flood of activity feels like it's raining very hard right now.
DeleteI sit here stunned at the total lack of any response to my comment above:
Delete"Trump signed a defense pact with Qatar.
American troops are to risk their lives to defend the terrorist harboring, bankrolling bastion of radical islamist State of Qatar which fomented the AQ terrorists of 9/11, because DJT issued a ln Executive Order?
Has DJT issued a similar E.O. for American troops to Israel?
Will American troops attack Israel if islamic terrorists in Qatar are again targeted by Israel?
Qatar's state media refers to DJT as Satan. Are they correct?
I assumed it primarily was due to our military base there.but the whole thing seems odd,.and done in a hurry for some reason. Only GOD knows what DJT is thinking (or what he knows) Tommy Webb
DeleteAnnnd this was done while the US Government is shut down. No Congressional oversight. Qatar has been attacked twice this year - by Iran and Israel.
DeleteNo one wants to hear it, I am not saying the guy is ac or anything - none of us know yet. However, I have been telling Christian nationalists for years that Donald Trump is not who you think he is.
DeleteIt boggles my mind that we continue to work with terror-nations. Qatar, shipping cash to Afghanistan, etc. While the US clearly has a relational tie to end times via Israel, I do not recall anything directly tying to the US, so I've always assumed that we would be rendered irrelevant globally by the time the rubber hits the road, so to speak.
DeleteIn related news this morning, a muslim attack on a synagogue in London, and a thwarted attack of the same in Germany on Yom Kippur...I am wary this may land on US soil as the day unfolds.
Brother Chris
I think most of us are still in a bit of shock over the defense pact with Qatar. Who would have thought such a thing?
ReplyDelete1st - every one agreed and signed off on DJT “end the war plan”, including Qatar.
2nd - waiting on Israel and Hamas/all the terrorists sitting in Doha, Qatar. But wait, Israel says yes and Qatar suddenly gets fidgety, nervous, as though they hadn’t expected that. Miraculously item #21 (Palestinian state language) is removed and there’s hardly a whisper.
3rd - DJT says 3-4 days and within this time frame a defense pact with Qatar is signed.
Now I certainly could be wrong, but something tells me that Qatar has had a “come to Jesus moment” when Israel signed off on this “end the war plan”. Hamas/all the terrorist, will be expelled immediately from Qatar.
4th - DJT is the only one who knows how to play 4D chess: )
God bless and Maranatha

Here are a couple highlights of Tania Curado Koenig’s statement from a couple days ago that I find intriguing; “ Trump’s plan as “impossible to implement,” fearing that if Gaza is pacified under this model, Yemen is next. The man who will sweat the most in the next three days is the Emir of Qatar. All of Hamas’s political leadership sits in his capital. Trump’s trilateral made him directly responsible for their answer. If Hamas says no, it is not just Hamas exposed — it is Qatar’s credibility and the Emir himself. If they say yes, he can claim he delivered peace”.
ReplyDeleteAnd this one - “ For Hamas, this plan reads not as negotiation but as surrender, stripping them of fighters, weapons, political authority, and their “resistance” narrative. For the Houthis, the plan looks like a template that could one day be imposed on them: demilitarization, international policing, regional guarantors.
And this is why the Emir of Qatar now sweats. Trump’s plan (Point 14) requires regional partners to guarantee compliance. That means Doha can no longer host Hamas leaders while claiming neutrality. In the next seventy-two hours, he must either force Hamas to accept or face the collapse of his own credibility”.
I believe as Tommy mentioned above that Qatar hosts a US military base and that the US now says we will defend them, leads me to believe once again, although the details are shrouded and have not been made public, Qatar is having its come to Jesus moment.
That Qatar is financing the propaganda of hate throughout the western world, collages, media, Hamas and terrorism in general is blatantly transparent to DJT and his administration. How could he conceivably sign an EO defending Qatar if the status quo’s allowed to continue? I think President Trump is 4 steps ahead of us…praise God.
There are a lot of moving pieces to keep an eye on right now and it appears to be hammer time. If my assessment is wrong, then something else will be forged, though Israel will be watched over as long as the sun and moon continue to shine upon us.
Praise God, praise Jesus and praise His spirit resting in all of us!
Joe
6pm Sunday has been set as the redline for Hamas
ReplyDeleteBrother Frank,
ReplyDeletePlease take it to the LORD in prayer.
HAMAS says it accepts Trump's plan and then sets multiple conditions to its acceptance.
ReplyDeleteTrump is being played by HAMAS.
...and yet few people see it - Jon Hartman
DeleteTrump said no negotiation so might conditions be viewed as a rejection of the plan as it is ?
DeleteIn his peace proposal Trump omitted any mention of no negotiations. HAMAS seized upon this omission.
Deletedo you have any what Trump is thinking? I sure don't, and I'm not believing that "4Dchess" I sure hope it's the "4 D chess" and "art of the deal" but since Bush Sr every president has been broken over Israel. I don't know what Trump is thinking - Jon Hartman
DeleteTrump, speaking through his Truth Social postings, is speaking and acting like he's Israel's 'boss of bosses' and that he alone determines Israel's war objectives. He may believe since the failed assassination attempts that God has given him a mandate.
DeleteTrump has also de facto declared war on Venezuela's government-run drug cartel while at the same time putting a sword towards Iran as well as the Panama Canal and Greenland. Never in my life have I seen anything like this from an American president.
Trump appeared on Israeli television today to thank all of the countries that took part in crafting his peace propsal.
ReplyDeleteNone of the nations Trump thanked by name were European, or Asian or South-Central American. All of them were Middle East Islamic nations.
Phase 1 of the Trump Plan has gone into immediate effect. The IDF has halted all offensive military operations and has adopted a defensive posture only. HAMAS remains armed and making demands; they have not been defeated. No hostages have been released as yet. The 72-hours are not going to happen.
ReplyDeleteYou don't negotiate with evil.
DeleteExactly.
DeleteI don't believe anything any of them is saying. Whether chess or ignorance or spiritual manipulation, forces are at work that are bigger than any one man/government. The Word is clear, Gaza will be destroyed. This current "negotiation" is a tangled mess, the strings of which are being controlled by the "wizard behind the curtain."
Delete"He may believe since the failed assassination attempts that God has given him a mandate" contributes to his hubris--what's that saying, Pride goes before . . . .
Upon receiving notification of HAMAS' less than full acceptance of the Trump Peace Proposal last night, PM Netanyahu convened an emergency meeting with Defense Minister Israel Katz and Minister Dermer.
ReplyDeleteIt is no great surprise to learn that Cabinet Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir were not invited to the meeting. Minister Dermer will lead the Israeli (surrender) negotiation team to Cairo.
Unintended consequences, right?
We are presupposing that President Trump and his team are unaware of the islamic principle of taquiyah, which IMHO is implausible, and/or that they have some ulterior motive in all of this (like the corrupt elements in the Israeli government/military who allowed October 7th), also IMHO implausible. We are presupposing that President Trump's team was sloppy or careless enough in this situation to just "accidentally omit" that no further negotiations were permissible, similarly implausible.
ReplyDeleteI have read that President Trump had a high regard for the writings of the ancient Chinese general Sun Tzu, who wrote (among other things) “Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.” Mission accomplished there, right now only God and probably a very select few people have any idea what the real plan is. God's plan certainly does not involve the dishonoring of the victims of October 7 by just returning the Israeli dead/abused civilians and giving the perpetrators time to rearm. Justice and righteousness are the foundation of God's throne.
I watched one of Kim Clement's videos back in 2016 where he prophesied that our President would come into office whispering God's name and some time after that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would be shouting his name. This would be consistent with Isaiah 45. We'll all just have to wait and see how this all turns out. We do live in interesting times.
Sean, have you gotten any further information on this development;
ReplyDeleteIran bombing soon? Dozens of of U.S. jets deployed to Qatar.
https://worldisraelnews.com/iran-bombing-soon-dozens-of-of-u-s-jets-deployed-to-qatar/
A lot of moving parts…Joe
Renewed operations against the 12er regime and Hezbollah is merely a matter of time.
DeleteThe focus of this war has shifted several times. South. North. East. South. Going North and East again.
None of these enemies has been decisively defeated, so war will continue. Like a flood.
Seeing the very first indications that Trump and Netanyahu have initiated a well-crafted plan to outsmart the HAMAS/PIJ jihadists in Gaza. The enemy was flabbergasted to see Trump rapidly jump at and accept the less than full acceptance of the plan by HAMAS. In a sense the 'infidels' have outsmarted the masters of islamic al-taqiyyah.
ReplyDeleteEschatology Today agrees completely with THIS POINT OF VIEW
ReplyDeleteI sent the article you linked to a pastor who does a current events update every week before his message. Hopefully he'll have the time to look at it.
ReplyDeleteA thought keeps occurring to me, a lot of Trump's base is becoming more anti-isreal, at least the areas I'm looking at. I'm hoping Trump isn't trying to appease them, i seriously doubt it, but that thought does occur to me. He's doing the same nonsense that Bush Sr and Bush Jr did. I'm very frustrated with him right now. where does Huckabee stand on all this? Does he have a say in this? he needs to speak up - Jon Hartman
Huckabee is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ; a tremendous supporter of Israel, but...
ReplyDeletehe also serves as Ambassador to Israel at the pleasure of President Trump. He can be removed from his post, so he's walking a tightrope at this time.
Huckabee openly states that he takes Trump at his word; he prays that the jihadists will capitulate and surrender unconditionally.
Morning, Sean, no need to publish this just want to say thank you for the Avi Abelow article link. Yes, 100% agree! That these monsters have the legitimacy for a "seat at the table" is incomprehensible. We definitely live in a corrupt, twisted, evil world. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
ReplyDeleteIt's my privilege to link OpEds such as this recen t one by Avi Abelow. I do this every so often because these days the truth of all manner of situations is priceless, becoming rarer with each passing day.
DeleteIt also helps to expose Islamism for what it is, especially to believing Christian brethren. For example, too few are aware that the Qur'an claims the angel Gabriel repeatedly choked and terrorised the young, illiterate Muhammed in the cave at Hira to force him to read, and then to write, and then to recite unholy demonic dictation. The Qur'an explicitly states this!
However, we know from God-breathed Scripture that every interaction of the angel Gabiel with a human being was begun with the angel saying "do not be afraid."
That was no angel of the Lord who confronted Muhammed.
The 6 PM deadline set by Trump passed without so much as a whimper. His "deadlines" and "annihilation" rhetoric are hollowman. Now we hear about "ceasefire negotiations" and hostages for hundreds of death row terrorist exchanges. Terrorist disarmament?
ReplyDeleteBibi wake up, you're being played big time.
The Nobel committee decides in early October who will get the Nobel Peace Prize.
DeleteFriday, 10 October.
DeleteBibi may need to go it alone on this one . it's 6 pm. Where are the hostages? It's time to turn these jihadis into dust. Tommy W
DeleteThis is war. Israel MUST be dictating the terms of the defeated terrorists unconditional surrender, disarmament and departure from Gaza. Period.
ReplyDeleteKnew this was coming.
ReplyDeleteArutz Sheva headline:
"Hostages' families nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize"
Are they released yet ? Seems odd if they aren't
DeleteNothing has happened. HAMAS' only bargaining chip are the hostages; they give them up they have nothing. HAMAS will drag this out for as long as possible - even if all of the hostages are dead.
DeleteTrump did not get the Nobel Peace Prize.
DeleteSukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) has begun in Israel and ends on the 13th October. IDF on high alert.
ReplyDeleteAll the ultimatums, or else threats and the like are as if they never were. It's backpedaling on steroids. It's what human pretenders do.
ReplyDeleteThat means we sit back and watch this circus for a few days knowing that God has it 100% and what He has said through His prophets is what will be.
I know I've said this before, but I often wonder if this is partially the work of the restrainor holding things back because it's not quite God's timing just yet. - Jon Hartman
DeleteAmen
ReplyDeleteapparently Trump announced a peace deal between Israel and hamas. I remember when Bush W. did good his first term, then started pushing his roadmap to peace garbage, I don't know if this is a fair comparison, but Trump is making the same kind of mistakes. very aggravating - Jon Hartman
ReplyDelete1 Thes 5:3 - For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
ReplyDeletePlease Stand By
In light of Joel 3, this current situation is very, very troubling. I was thinking about how God establishes a pattern in the earth, a foreshadowing, before actual prophesied events are fulfilled. It occurred to me that our current events are in the pattern of the future man of sin whose mortal wound will be healed and who destroys many by manipulating them and creating a false peace as detailed in Daniel. Similarly, the recent jab event was in the model of the rider on the white horse bearing a bow in Revelation who goes forth conquering and to conquer. As I understand it the word for the arrows in his bow are not normal arrows but poisoned darts.
ReplyDeleteBut neither of those current/recent events fit that mold exactly.
All of the hostages are supposed to be released on Monday. There is much going on behind the scenes that we don’t know yet. You have to suspect that God has other things in store. As Sean said, “That means we sit back and watch this circus for a few days knowing that God has it 100% and what He has said through His prophets is what will be.”
I realize it's still Thursday, but is anyone else having trouble believing this deal with actually come to fruition? That hamas (I refuse to capitalize their name) has had and continues to have a seat at the table, let alone control in the resolution, is still unconscionable to me--and I know others here. For a mentality that exalts death over defeat, "martyrdom" over survival, I can't see them giving up their only bargaining chip for the sake of their own protection. I pray I am wrong and those poor souls who have been locked in darkness, starved, abused, hopeless for 2 years will indeed be freed. I would expect their condition to be dire indeed. May God sustain them a little longer and heal them body, soul, and spirit.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Amit Segal this morning, it remains to be seen if Bibi's gov't survives this, as G'vir and Smotrich are unlikely to approve foreign entities on Israeli land, Gaza. Since 2005 Israel has in fact been divided. It's just taking a different shape. But, as Sean and Miriam point out: God. We already know the end of the story, if not the exact process getting there.
Looking up!
This "deal" isn't worth the paper it's written on.
ReplyDeleteOtzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism parties will vote no. They will likely end this current Israeli government when the "deal" collapses.
what kind of a government do you think will replace the current one? I'm a little disappointed in Netanyahu. He's always had a habit of going almost all the way then caving at the last second. I actually thought this time it would be different. Again I ask, what kind of a government do you think will replace the current one if the current governmentdoes indeed end? - Jon Hartman
DeleteJon,
DeleteAssuming we are still here, then we'll have to see what occurs in the near term, how the Jews will vote as a result. God puts leaders in place to accomplish His will.
However, we also know with 100% certainty that regardless of what kind of government comes what Yeshua Messiah had said will take place.
"I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive."
Israel, regardless of the kind of government, will receive the Antichrist (the Beast).
At that time the Temple will be standing and services, sacrifices, oblations will have been taking place there for 42 months, the LORD's Two Witnesses ministry having been concurrent in that same time -which is the Thlipsis (Tribulation). Then an image of the Beast is stood up in the Holy Place and the Megas Thlipsis (Great Tribulation) of the final 42 months begins.
There is some very obvious good news. The living hostages should be freed by the time we in the USA awake on Monday morning.
ReplyDeleteRemember what was posted here four days ago?
"HAMAS' only bargaining chip are the hostages; they give them up they have nothing."
Living hostages is the primary reason the IDF did not go whole hog to destroy the terrorists. After Monday that's not a problem anymore.
That's why I am completely puzzled by this whole thing. Nothing about it fits the pattern and ideology and past behavior of radical Islam. I do pray in these kinds of situations hat "God will put in the heart of the king. . ." to do His will, and we can certainly know He is at work here. Countless people have been praying for the hostages' release. LORD willing, we will see it happen. I can't imagine what they have undergone. It will take months to heal physically, and years to heal psychologically--if ever. Such unimaginable cruelty, from the acts of Oct. 7, to the imprisonment/treatment of the kidnapped. The only consolation is that GOD is a just God.
DeleteI stand corrected.
ReplyDeleteHAMAS' armed Internal Security Force members are in uniform and have taken to positions in Gaza already vacated by the IDF.
No great surprise, the HAMAS ISF unit 'Radaa' has begun deadly retributions against the 'collaborators and traitors' being hunted down across all areas of Gaza vacated by the IDF.
DeleteThis morning Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that following the hostage release the IDF will begin its next mission in Gaza, which is to destroy all of the remaining tunnels. This mission is integral to the disarmament and removal of HAMAS from Gaza and is codified in the peace plan. It is to be completed prior to the arrival of international observers in Gaza.
ReplyDeletePresident Trump said the plan he brokered will provide "everlasting peace." IDF CoS LTG Eyal Zamir says the IDF defeat of HAMAS is an
ReplyDelete"existential triumph" that will provide Israel with "lasting security."
Ummmm, no.
Soooo……let’s see, and when we put both those statements together what do we get? Class? Anyone? That’s right Bobby, Peace and Security! Well done!
DeleteBro. Frank
You know, if I didn't know better I'd think this living in peace and security was a preliminary to invite Magog's hordes to come on down.
DeleteAlas, I do know better.
Yes!
DeleteBe wary of disinformation and/or fake news; it's already rampant in the run-up to hostage release time 7 hours from now. Verify everything.
ReplyDeleteThe war in Gaza is not over by any stretch.
ReplyDeleteIt's now a war pitting HAMAS and PIJ terrorists against the Gaza clans, independent militias and other rebels committed to eliminating their 20-year long reign of terror.
Pitched battles are ongoing from north to south because the clans sense the terrorists weaknesses. The IDF supports them.
The 'Unintended Consequences' are what happens next. (Global SITREP B8-25)

I'm glad the hostages have been released but once again Israel will have a host of Arab countries (Qatar, Turkey, the UAE) and 20 other countries invested in Gaza with the United States overseeing the rebuild. Yeah, like that's gonna work.
DeleteFunny how Scripture says nothing about Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the UAE rebuilding the land of Israel. That means it's not gonna happen, just the opposite.
Delete
