Global SITREP C8-20: Looking Ahead on the Prophetic Road to Revelation

23 October 2020: We Christians are looking ahead on the Prophetic Road to the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And we have smiles on our faces because we know exactly what lies on the road as it crests the far horizon. Somewhere along this road, we know not where, the view seen in the image above will suddenly change to a bird's eye view when the Lord snatches us all away in the blink of an eye. In that moment our eyes will see the full scope the victory that was won for all mankind at the Cross.

But before that moment, when time for us will cease to exist as we've entered into an infinite eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ, we will see, as we are seeing right now with increasing frequency, troublesome times, fearful sights and lots of things no one has seen ever before. Yet, we do not fear them, they have no power over us of the victory that has been won. Many of those things have been foretold in prophecy as we've discussed on Eschatology Today for more than a decade. This is the Lord's purpose of His prophetic word, to let our inquisitive minds know what lies ahead over that horizon. The Lord, in His omniscient wisdom, knows of our need to know, so He told us in advance what we needed to know, all we have to do is read it.

From ancient times we have the testimony of the angel Gabriel, given from God as testimony of the events to come. The overriding theme of what Gabriel passed along was concerning present day Israel, the political events and political intrigue of these last days, and the rise of the beast and his unholy kingdom, the final fourth kingdom. The Apocalypse (Revelation) of Jesus Christ echoes much of what what Gabriel related to Daniel but in ever more exquisite details. The greatest of all the details that has been given to us is the fact that God has complete and total control of His will being done. Right here, right now.

And in addition to this, we have the Spirit-spoken word from Peter: "No prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:21) Tell me that Paul did not speak from the Spirit in saying that in these final days "people would be narcissistic, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their elders, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, not lovers of good, treacherous, reckless, puffed up with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying it power. Avoid such people." (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Everywhere one can cast his or her gaze today this is what that person will see; one would have to be willfully blind not to see it.

And here in America we have seen it, almost all summer long and to this day we have seen Paul's prophetic words on full display. In the coming days, during this next week even and thereafter, we shall see them in living color. 

And this is where we'll leave it for now. Updates to this SITREP will continue to our election day, unless the Harpazo occurs first. If Jesus is not your Lord and Savior this would be a good time, possibly even your final chance, to accept Him and escape the catastrophes to come. Marana'tha!

Global SITREP C7-20: Rumors of War in America

22 October 2020: On this date there's the final "debate" between President Trump and the DNC challenger Joe Biden. We can reasonably expect a bombshell news report to precede the "debate" this evening. Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon have a coordinated process of publicly releasing information regarding the laptop and its hard drive (HDD) content that used to belong to Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden. That content will shock most Americans. We have assurances from the DNI, FBI and the DOJ that none of that content is in anyway part of a foreign interference in the U.S. election. Nothing further to say on this until the release actually occurs.

Update 23 October 2020: In the hour before last night's final debate a media event occurred that saw Hunter, Jim and Joe Biden's former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, a registered Democrat, categorically state in the affirmative that the "big guy" referenced multiple times in Hunter Biden emails was without question, Joseph Biden, former Vice President of the USA. The compromising of Joe Biden to the Communist Chinese regime was therefore confirmed, and the lies spoken by him during the debate stood out like Pinocchio's nose. 

At this point with 11 days and a wake up before election day, and barring some unprecedented act of violence, Donald J. Trump will be re-elected as the President of the United States of America. Post-election day, the threat of anything from civil disturbance to civil war will still exist, and that is the leading topic for the following SITREP.

10 October 2020: The U.S. is 24 days from the most decisive and almost certainly divisive election in modern times. It will determine issues domestically and globally. The dichotomy seen in the pictures from Hong Kong and Portland, Oregon illustrates this truism accurately. And on top of this there is mass confusion to be found everywhere one cares to look. 

Even within the bride of Christ there is confusion about the current state of affairs in America. This confusion is between some who hold no hope of a revival of righteousness before the Harpazo occurs and others (like Eschatology Today) who do. It's a glass half-empty versus a glass half-full difference of opinions. We shall see which is the correct view.

The primary domestic concern are the promises of a continuation of the non-peaceful transfer of power that has been in progress since the election of November 2016. One would have to have been asleep or deaf and blind to be unaware of this fact. The imminent election of 2020 looks to be even more divisive and violent with anarchists and seditionists promising to bring their violence out of the inner cities and into American suburbs.  

Since even prior to the 2016 election Eschatology Today has warned that there was nothing these domestic enemies of our Constitution and rule of law would not do in order to impose their views and agenda upon us all. During this past summer many have finally seen how correct this forecast was. Now we'll see how much worse it will get, especially if and as expected, existing U.S. law against insurrection (Insurrection Act) is invoked to quell to promised domestic violence if the election does not turn out in favor of the Left.

Of Spiritual and prophetic concern is the subject of both revival and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon new believers. Contrary to what some say, this outpouring has been going on all over this country and around the world. 

Since the ChiCom SARS-CoV-2 bioweapon virus was transmitted around the world, we've seen the governors of primarily Democrat-run states ban in-person worship services. That, brothers and sisters, is the epitome of an exercise in futility.

Does anyone reading this really believe such futile acts are anything close to being an impediment to Father, Son and Holy Spirit continuing their work? Can SARS-CoV-2 infect people worshiping in their rooms with door the closed (Matthew 6:5-8) or with other brethren while on-line? 

Can anyone prevent new babes-in-Christ from receiving His blood covering of sin and the eternal salvation it promises? If you do, then you are visiting the wrong Christian prophecy blog. If you do then you do not really believe in an Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Creator God.

Try reading Joel 2 which talks prophetically about the period of time immediately preceding the "day of the Lord," which is that period of time immediately preceding Israel's 70th Week of years, or the Thlipsis and Megas Thlipsis (the Tribulation and Great Tribulation). Joel prophecies about the army of the Lord; that none can endure it. Joel then beginning at verse 12 quotes the Lord, saying that before this day occurs:

"Now, therefore, turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

13 Joel then continues the narrative...

So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
14 Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?

This is revival, it is a return and the blessing and free gift of redemption for all who turn to Him in sincerity.

Even now, before the arrival of the 70th Week of years, the Lord continues the building of His Kingdom on this earth. As we have spoken, do speak now and will speak in the days to come, millions of souls are coming the Christ Jesus all over the world. Not all is doom and gloom as global media would have you believe, but rather the victory that lies in Christ Jesus is ever expanding on every continent of the planet.

Global SITREP C6-20: Eyes on Lebanon

 

Hezbollah's Beirut Missile Sites

4 October 2020: With the IDF's very public releasing of intelligence this week (GPS image above) on Hezbollah's precision missile manufacturing sites in residential neighborhoods of Beirut, it isn't, pun intended, "rocket science" to assess that precision Israel Air Force strikes on these locations are an imminent probability.

Poor Beirut, as if it hasn't had an abundance of of massive explosions and fires of late, it's problems have compounded thanks to Hezbollah's stupidity. Following the IDF intel release, which PM Netanyahu had promptly revealed to the world during his U.N. address, Hezbollah organized a rather hasty tour for media through the neighborhood buildings and structures which had been identified, as if to show Israel's intel was bogus. 

To the contrary, the video tour validated the Israeli intel as beyond reproach as specific machinery and dual use technologies (lasers, hydraulic and manual metal benders) for precision rocket manufacturing were clearly identified in the Beirut residential neighborhoods of Janah, Laylaki and Chouaifet. The Hezbollah factories are located under apartment buildings adjacent to a mosque, gas station and a medical facility.

Hezbollah did not deserve this advance warning of Israel's intelligence gathering successes and detailed knowledge of its activities, yet it serves as the clearest warning possible to the people in these Beirut neighborhoods and Hezbollah itself of exactly where the next IAF air assault will occur. 

Given recent history since 4 August in Beirut one can understand how the local population feels about Hezbollah and its Iranian masters activities underneath their homes, wives and children. We will probably read about the IAF knocking on the roofs of these structures as a final warning for the people to move, or for them to dismantle the factories themselves before Israel does.

Our eyes remain on Beirut, and elsewhere.

Global SITREP C5-20: POTUS and FLOTUS

 

 

3 October 2020: Eschatology Today statement on the President and First Lady of the United States of America as they undergo treatment following a positive diagnosis of having contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

If one believes the Bible, and we do, we believe that God establishes the leaders of nations for His purposes. Romans 13:1 states this explicitly as do Romans 9:16, John 19:11, and Daniel 4:17 among still other verses.   

We also believe Genesis 12:3 blessings are promised to those who bless Israel. With President Trump in just 45 months having established himself as being the #1 all-time United States president when it comes to bestowing blessings upon Israel, then there should be no question that God has this situation in His hands 100% and even far greater blessings are forthcoming.

Our prayers are with the President and First Lady, knowing full well that God is with us.

Global SITREP C4: War in the Caucasus

27 September 2020: "Armenia has declared martial law, and has ordered the total mobilization of its military" - Jerusalem Post headline this morning. Other media inform that the Azeri military has issued similar full mobilization orders. So, for the umpteenth time over the past four decades Armenia and Azerbaijan have initiated combat operations over the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave that has a majority Armenian population within the heartland of Azerbaijan.

This always simmering conflict is of interest because Armenia for certain is one of the nations that will participate within the Ezekiel 38/39 Magog-led military confederation that will attempt to conquer and plunder the State of Israel. Armenia has for many centuries been identified as the ancient land known as Togarmah. The Armenians themselves say they are the descendants of Torgom, a son of Gomer, son of Japheth, who established the "House of Torgom" approximately four millennia ago. So, each time this conflict flares, or any open full-scale warfare within the Caucasus flares up (such as Russia vs Georgia) Eschatology Today perks up and pays attention.

There are to interesting side bars to this. One is that there are several Turkish military units currently in Azerbaijan, some of which have been direct transfers from the war in Syria. For its part Russia has sent military advisers, equipment and mercenary troops into Armenia. It would seem the Russia vs. Turkey zone of contention has extended northward from Syria.

Presently there are reports (unconfirmed) of Azerbaijani aircraft attacking targets in Armenia. Confirmed reports abound of ground combat causing civilian casualties on both sides, and of heavy artillery and armor engagements adding to the carnage. It would appear that both Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as their Turkish and Russian allies were in well advanced stages of preparation for this round of warfare. Turkey is threatening direct intervention against Armenia on the behalf of Azerbaijan.

Global SITREP C3-20: Rumors of Peace - The Abraham Accord

UPDATE 24 September 2020:  How many folks posting articles and commentary on the internet have actually read the text of the Abraham Accords? Eschatology Today is wondering about this after surfing various websites to see what others have had to say about it, and being left with the distinct impression that the answer to this question is - not many. 

First and foremost it has been noticed that the "Abraham Accords" most certainly are a "Peace Agreement." The Accords are [a] "Treaty of Peace, Diplomatic Relations and Full Normalization" between the State of Israel, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain according to the 15 September 2020 document published by the White House.

One of the key provisions of the Accords reads: "Recognizing that the Arab and Jewish peoples are descendants of a common ancestor, Abraham, and inspired, in that spirit, to foster in the Middle East a reality in which Muslims, Jews, Christians and peoples of all faiths, denominations, beliefs and nationalities live in, and are committed to, a spirit of coexistence, mutual understanding and mutual respect..."  The Accords also invoke the "Treaties of Peace" between Israel, Egypt and Jordan as being integral to the greater goal of advancing a "comprehensive Middle East peace, stability and prosperity." 

Again, are these conditions the Abraham Accords declare somehow different from what the prophet Ezekiel foretold in chapters 38 and 39 would exist at the time of the Gog of Magog military confederation's attempt to conquer and pillage the land of Israel? Of course they are and therein lies the prophetic importance of the Abraham Accords in establishing those conditions. How so few will even consider, much less teach, this most important and impending eschatological truth is stunning. 

Here's a fact: since Israel declared itself an independent nation 72 years ago there has been an Arab-Israeli conflict. The UAE and Bahrain are Arab Muslim countries and had been in varying levels of conflict with Israel as members of the Arab League. A key institution of the Arab League has been its Joint Defense Council. The Arab League was opposed to the UN Partition Plan of 1947 and created both the All-Palestine Government and the terrorist PLO to operate within Israel. Peace treaties such as the Abraham Accords were as inevitable a necessity as Gabriel's prophecy to Daniel about a "covenant among many" is to the fulfillment of God-breathed prophecy.

The Abraham Accords also seeks to "develop and launch" among the signatory parties a "Strategic Agenda for the Middle East" in a partnership with the United States of America and other nations as yet un-named. It should be apparent and if not demands that we recall the alliance between Israel, Greece and Cyprus that has been in place for a few years now. In other words, the Abraham Accords do not exist in a geopolitical vacuum; the parties committed themselves in obligations that far exceed the text of this soon to expand "covenant among many." 

Moreover, eighty percent of Israel's population (both Jew and Arab citizens) have expressed that they are in favor of the Abraham Accords. This is monumental in its scope, unprecedented even, and cannot be dismissed as something of lesser importance than what it really is.

17 September 2020: This morning the Gatestone Institute published a decidedly secular article by Khaled Abu Toameh. 

First, by way of introduction, Mr. Abu Toameh is an Arab Muslim journalist who has covered Palestinian issues for at least 3 decades. He studied at Hebrew University and early on in his career worked for a PLO newspaper. Most recently he is known to be the "eyes and ears" for foreign journalists in Judea/Samaria and Gaza; he writes for the Jerusalem Post and is also a producer and consultant for NBC News. 

With these credentials today's article took many observers by surprise, including yours truly. It was not what I expected it to be, the title notwithstanding: "Arabs: Israel Is Not Our Enemy." So, in reading just the opening five bullet quotes from Saudi and Emirates media sources you may understand why Eschatology Today views this article confirming what is written in the 14 September update to this SITREP regarding the coming final fulfillment of the Psalm 83 scenario. One could, if the sources were not known beforehand, assess these bullet items were written by a handful of conservative American writers.

A consistent theme emerges in Abu Toameh report, and it echoes part of the enemies list Ezekiel 38. The Arabs of the Gulf and Peninsula, except for Yemen, view Iran and Turkey as their primary enemies; they view Israel as their natural ally against these enemies. I suggest reading the embedded link, and to whet your appetite I include this quote from Saudi Arabian writer Mohammed al-Sheikh:

"Israel is an advanced and superior country in all fields, and by creating a space for peaceful cooperation with it, we believe that we will benefit from its progress and superiority." 

This puts some keen perspective upon Ezekiel 38:13, don't you think? I do.

14 September 2020: In the past month we've kept pace with current events of interest through items posted in the comments section of this SITREP. It has taken an entire month to discern what The Abraham Accord is and what it is not, what it replaces and what it doesn't, and what it may mean prophetically. 

The first thing to note is the the Oslo Accords (I and II) are dead; those accords died a few years ago. The Oslo I and II accords were supposed to result in a five-year plan (1995-2000) towards a final peace agreement between just two parties, Israel and the "Palestinian Authority" (PA). Accordingly, the Oslo I and II Accords never had a chance in becoming the prophetic "covenant among many."

The PA, or "Palestinian National Authority" as some refer to it, was created to take the place of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). In effect this was just a semantic name change because Israel could not make real peace with an avowed terrorist group (Fatah) dedicated to its destruction, even though Fatah remained as the political power broker, and Yasser Arafat disavowed with empty words the purpose of the PLO and accepted Israel's right to exist. 

The question is often asked, "What's in a name?" Now you know. The PLO and Fatah are the current Palestinian Authority. Not much has changed, but one has to look under the veneer to see that fact. This is not a difficult task either if one looks at the PA's statements in the months since the Abraham Accord was announced and Israel's full annexation of Judea and Samaria began to move forward. The terrorist Fatah/PLO is still there as it has always been. Only the soon-to-be literal and final fulfillment of Psalm 83 (which is inclusive of Isaiah 11:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26) will permanently change this status quo.

The Abraham Accord is new, it is a singular accord that is aimed toward having many nations as participants, as guarantors of the peace it intends to create. The UAE and Bahrain are just the first among the many. However, the Abraham Accord also has a fatal flaw - it divides portions of the Covenant land of Israel. However, the aforementioned prophetic fulfillments are that which Eschatology Today believes will summarily eliminate this flaw. We believe these fulfillments will occur as a direct result of the Isaiah 17 prophecy coming to pass. Syria is not a part of the Psalm 83 war and that is a critical point to remember.

Again and for reference, the Psalm 83 prophecy involves, from north to south, Lebanon, Jordan, the PA, the terrorist enclave of Gaza and a remnant Shia militia from Iraq. That's it. The Abraham Accord will remain, but Lebanon, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority along with the Gaza terrorists will be historical footnotes. Looking just a little further forward, these events prepare or "set the stage" the coming fulfillment of Ezekiel 38/39 and the literal creation of the conditions enumerated in Ezekiel 38:10-17. What we cannot know is when in all of this the Harpazo will occur. But occur it will; nothing can stop it.

13 August 2020: United States of America President Donald John Trump made the stunning announcement this morning that the his administration was instrumental in bringing about a peace treaty between Israel and the UAE (United Arab Emirates). The treaty is being referred to as the "Abraham Accord." The Abraham Accord will normalize full diplomatic relations between Israel and the UAE, a reciprocal exchange of ambassadors, embassies and full diplomatic staff for each. Israel will also forgo any further annexation of territory in Judea and Samaria.

Folks who have been reading Eschatology Today for thee past 11 years may recall that a staple here has been the reference to Daniel 9:27 and "covenant among many" as being tied to a covenant among "Abrahamic Religions." This is precisely what we have in this "Abraham Accord" between the three principle nations that are a party to it - Jewish, Islamic and Christian nations. No doubt that is with the name of this accord was so selected. Needless to say, hearing the first reference to this peace treaty as the "Abraham Accord" nearly caused my heart to skip a beat; the hair on the back of my neck did stand on end with goosebumps the full length of my forearms. It was truly a stunner.

I expect, based upon what many are now openly saying, the Abraham Accord will expand to include many other Islamic and Christian nations. I also expect that Iran and its many proxies will do anything and everything in their power to preempt this peace deal. 

Global SITREP C2-20: Rumors of War Part VI

03 August 2020: Hidai Zilberman, a spokesperson for the IDF, said today that Israel holds Damascus responsible for Sunday's attempted IED cross-border attack at a temporarily unmanned IDF post. According to Zilberman Israel may yet retaliate against Damascus for that action in which the four terrorists were killed by ground and air fire from the IDF's Maglan Special Forces unit. There were no IDF injuries in the action.

Update 05 August 2020: About the Beirut Port Disaster

Hezbollah and the IRGC are under no illusions about what took place yesterday at the Port of Beirut, Lebanon because they know they caused the explosion at Beirut port by their own negligence.

They have been negligent in the handling and storage of 2,750 metric tons of volatile ammonium nitrate, explosives and other munitions (i.e. the reported fireworks) at this site for many years. Since 2014 at a minimum. The resultant early tally of casualties speaks to scores of dead and 3,000 to 4,000 or more injuries.

The "white building" was a massive grain silo. Grains lie before the massive, now water-filled crater where the explosions occurred.

In 2018 the IDF made public their concerns about this site in releasing surveillance imagery with detailed analysis of the risks posed to the immediate civilian neighborhood, infrastructure, the port itself and Hariri Airport (source of the aircraft seen in some videos).

Thereafter, Hassan Nasrallah released a video of himself 'theorizing' about a "nuclear like' explosion occurring in Haifa port, just as the Beirut port explosion appeared to all who witnessed it yesterday. Ironic to say the least.

Hezbollah and the IRGC, and by extension the current Government of Lebanon, are 100% responsible for the Beirut Port disaster. They know it. Israel knows it, and so does the U.S.A. The ultimate repercussions of this disaster are currently unknown, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to assume that Israel will be blamed in due course by its many enemies. And therein lies the prophetic significance should Lebanon, Hezbollah and Iran opt for the wrong course of action going forward.
