A "Palestinian" state in 2011? Don't count on it.

01 January 2011: So, here we are on the first day of 2011, and the odds makers and the secular power elite are banking on the unilateral declaration of statehood for "Palestine" in just a few short months.

I'm thinking such a "Palestinian" state will never come into existence.

Why?

Because of Ezekiel 38/39.

Let's say, just for giggles and grins sake, that a "Palestinian" state did exist and was located within the borders of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). What the heck, thow in the whole of Gaza as well. That's the new "Palestine."

So riddle me this...

If Israel was nothing more than the tiny geographical size of the State of New Jersey (less than 9,000 square miles in area)...

what would be the necessity for the overwhelmingly massive military forces of 9 much larger nations as described by Ezekiel to come against her?

At that tiny area; it's like comparing the size of an apple with a grape.

Such a scenario makes zero military tactical, practical or logical sense at whatsoever. Zippo, nada, none.

Such a scenario as described by Ezekiel only makes sense if "Palestine" does not exist and Israel's geographical size at that time is at least 20 times larger than the above map indicates. Ezekiel 38/39 makes sense if Israel were at that time to encompass the land area of a nation the size of Iraq.

An Israel that's approximately this large...

Now that's an invasion force versus size comparison which is apples to apples.

i totally agree...i`m no military expert and i still see no logic in an invasion from the nations if a "palastinian" state exist. right now the creation of a "palastinian" state is a foregone conclusion. it is virtually unstoppable, the odds of stopping it seem zilch....in mans mind. BUT the God of abraham isaac and jacob have a different plan and NOTHING can stop that.

  3. Thanks for making the point so well visually, Sean! Lot's of folks asking if Israel will be split or not.

While the creation of Palestine may not happen, the attempt to would certainly spark something as massive as Psalm 83, woudn't you agree?

  4. Nathan,

Yes, I absolutely agree the attempt to create an Arab state out of Judea and Samaria this year could be a cause for war; it's the primary point of the blog entry below this one.

Also, the end of the Islamic Waqf's control of Temple Mount, full Israeli sovereignty and the subsequent construction of the 3rd Temple would appear to be the intimately linked result of such a war.

I can also envison Israel allowing international religious rights in the area of the outer court of the Temple as a part of an agreement or "covenant among many."

  5. I totally disagree. Israel is just as powerful militarily as any other nation in the world. The goal of these nations is to completely wipe out Israel. Its so tragic and stunning that The Lord himself intervenes from Heaven. You gotta think about how magnificant this is. Think about it? The Lord HIMSELF intervenes.

  6. Obviously, Anonymous, you do not totally disagree. You agree with the Lord's direct intervention in Ezekiel 38/39, as do I.

What you have not consiidered is that the sum of Psalm 83, Isiah 17 and the other related prophecies occur some time prior to the Ezekiel war's Divine intervention.

That is the point. The prior fulfillment of those prophecies is the vehicle by which Israel comes to feel as it lives without walls in complete peace and security.

  8. The above comment has been allowed for Christian teaching purposes.

It comes from an anonymous individual in Lima, Peru who has been fully deceived by Satan, the demonic spirit which 1,400 years ago created the false god and false religion of islam (islam means submission to the false god 'allah').

First of all, those who recognize and confess their sinful nature as human beings and call upon Jesus Messiah, the Lamb of God and the Word of God by by whom all things were created, to wash away their sins have no fear of Judgment Day for they have no sin which has not been washed away by His shed blood. This is the Divine Grace of God freely given to all mankind that call upon Him for salvation.

Secondly, God does not destroy the whole world on Judgment Day... Jesus Christ judges it.

Thirdly, as with everything else taught in islam by the deceived false prophet muhammad, everything regarding their "youm al-qiyamah" (day of resurrection) is utterly false as well. They have been completely deceived by Satan, the father of lies.

So... what this deceived islamic stooge is saying here is that the Bride of Christ is going to burn in hell (Jahannam) come judgment day.

Sad to say that without the blood of Jesus Christ covering this poor Peruvian soul at the Great White Throne judgment an eternity in the lake of fire Revelation 20:11-15 awaits.

    Required Reading for all muslims.

  9. We're coming up on the "anniversary" of this post; 1 January 2012 is just 6 days away.

The overall situation in the whole of the Middle East is more volatile then ever, yet moving inexorably towards multiple fulfilments of Bible prophecy... and no "Palestinian state" yet exists.

    We'll revisit this issue shortly.
