Global SITREP A5-16: Odds and Ends

UPDATED 4 February 2016: Not sure if anyone or everyone else has noticed this, but the bride of Christ has a chance in the 2016 election to actually make a change for the better of all concerned. I awoke this morning to the thought that we are begin given a great opportunity and it is an opportunity that should be seized for all manner of moral and ethical reasons.

At this point there remains in the direct vote GOP nominating process of 49 states at least three of our brothers-in-Christ who are candidates for the Office of the President of the United States. In alphabetical order, Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Marco Rubio have all publicly professed Jesus the Messiah to be their Lord and Savior. All political bickering aside, at the end of this process we must all end up supporting one of these candidates to ensure he is the nominee and then vote for him in the general election come November. Pretty simple, right?

On the Democrat side, Hillary is exceptionally untrustworthy and as corrupt as corrupt can be. She is a member of the Antichrist hastening global oligarchy, and stands a very strong chance of indictment and lengthy imprisonment for crimes against our desperately in need of saving Republic. There is also Bernard Sanders, a card carrying dinosaur of world socialism who is too senile to understand that his brand of socialism has abjectly failed wherever in the world it has been attempted or imposed upon a nation-state of people; he manifestly represents the failed past. Neither of these can be the next POTUS.

This makes what might be our final chance to make a real difference almost palpable and a virtual no-brainer Christian duty.

1 February 2016: I've been meaning to post some odds and ends and assorted things that made me go 'Hmmmm' or otherwise make a note of that others might like to read about as general interest material. However, none of this is 'Mickey Mouse' material; I just liked the above cartoon for its sense of nostalgia.

First Item: The other day I received an Email from a US Intelligence Community (IC) veteran in which he related a very succinct rendering concerning ongoing rumblings within the IC regarding the FBI investigation of Hillary Rodham Clinton's private email server crime: "Indictment, Hospitalization and Pardon."

Transliterated into plain English, this means the prevailing view is that Hillary will be indicted for her crimes while Secretary of State for the abject failure to properly  safeguard above-top-secret caveat code-word (also known as SAP or Special Access Programs) compartmentalized intelligence issues. The indictment will immediately be followed by a sudden and acute health issue requiring immediate hospitalization (i.e. she will disappear from public view for some unknown period of time, as has occurred in her past). She will only re-emerge from this 'hospitalization' upon receiving a full chief executive pardon at the very end of POTUS Obama's term in office, possibly Christmas 2016. Hmmm, sounds plausible.

The update to this item is that since 28 October 2015 Representative Ron DeSantis (R-FL) of Florida 5th District has yet to receive a reply to his letter to US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, The letter was an inquiry as to why the DoJ had not appointed a special counsel to oversee the investigation into Hillary's email server and related issues. Today Rep. DeSantis sent a second letter demanding to know the specifics of the DoJ's failure to appoint special counsel. There's no doubt the Obama Administration is doing its best to provide partisan political cover and and obfuscation of the many crimes former SECSTATE Clinton is accused of committing instead of engaging in the impartial investigation such extraordinary circumstance as these demand. Both the FBI and patriotic Americans serving in the FBI and the DoJ are reportedly fed up deluxe with such blatant partisanship in the ongoing cover-up.

Second Item: Following the recent torching of the Saudi Embassy in Tehran, Iran that was only just barely contained through diplomatic channels, the sectarian warfare between these two polarized Islamic enemies has indeed morphed from a conflict fought mostly by proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Yemen and the Shi'a community within Saudi Arabia itself, into a direct strategic conflict. The next major incident between them may not be manageable through the normal diplomatic channels and mechanisms according the Middle Eastern sources, and full-scale war between them is a distinct possibility.

Third Item: in October 2010 the Professor Emeritus of Physics at UC Santa Barbara, California Hal Lewis sent a letter of resignation to Curtis Callan, President of the American Physical Society (APS). Professor Lewis resigned suddenly after a 67-year long Fellowship in the American Physical Society. The reason for his resignation was not related to his health, or age or anything of the sort as one might expect. No, the reason for this resignation was ... wait for it ... "the global warming scam, with the trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried away APS before it like a rogue wave." Professor Lewis continued in his letter, "[Global Warming]...is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist." Now there goes a scientist with a conscience and integrity.

Fourth Item: According to a poll run within FoxNews that was originated by FoxNews' own Greta Van Susteren (i.e. Gretawire), GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump may have a greater impact and may send a louder message by avoiding tonight's GOP debate than by attending. According to the poll a full 83 to 86% of Fox viewers will boycott the program along with The Donald. I'm with those 86% because, number one, I'm a Cruz guy, and number two, I've been in my own full court press boycott of FoxNews (Losers) ever since the San Bernardino Massacre when 'fair and balanced' died a horrible death that day also.

Fifth Item: Bill Gertz reports - An American RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft was intercepted this past Monday in international airspace over the Black Sea. In the intercept a Russian Su-27 fighter flew within 20 feet of the RC-135 fuselage and then blasted the aircraft broadside with a full-afterburner turn away from the American jet fully "disturbing the controllability" of the aircraft. This is the latest and possibly most egregious in a continuing series of aggressive Russian military provocations. And we're supposed to cooperate with such an unprofessional military force against the Islamic State in Syria?

New Sixth Item: The capture and detention in the Persian Gulf to two US Navy combatant craft appears to be directly related to the Obama Administration's efforts over the past seven years to neuter the US Armed Forces as much as possible. One of the casualties in the effort has been our capabilities in the realm of Electronic Warfare (EW). A new report by Bill Gertz (Washington Times/ Washington Free Beacon) reveals that according to experts in this field the U.S. suddenly finds itself about a generation or two behind other modern nations when it comes to state-of-the-art EW capabilities. This shortfall is considered a major contributor as to why the IRGC Navy was able to so easily overcome the two riverine combat craft and take both of their 5-sailor crews hostage without a fight.

New Seventh item: The USAF is the first of our armed services to refuse or contradict a direct order from President Obama. Contrary to Obama's directives calling for the disarming of U.S. troops, the U.S. Air Force Security Forces has issued directives across the force requesting local commanders to authorize the arming of airmen to carry weapons, even when they are off duty r in civilian attire. This action is in direct response to a study which determined, as all gun owners already know, that the presence of armed service members is the best defense against active shooter situations such as has occurred at Ft. Hood, Texas and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Air Force installation commanders have always had the authorization to issue these directive and training programs, but now in light of recent events the arming of troops is being formalized by higher command authority.

Read my lips - no more Bush's!

    That leaves Cruz and Trump.

I could accept Trump/Cruz ticket cuz that would put Cruz as VP and as president of the Senate.

However, I'll vote for Cruz in the primary.

  6. Hey Sean, I read North Korea is preparing to launch missile into space. After reading that article from Dr. Peter V. Any thoughts?

  9. With the entire world glaring down imo, the barrel of a gun, (of ww3) we should understand that all this has been predicted for an eternity. Regardless if you're religious or not, we are headed towards a discernable crescendo of world events that will most likely culminate into a lot of chaos, e.g.; world and regional wars and other things

    ReplyDelete
  10. cb121,

None of has anything to do with "religion." It has everything to do with a personal relationship with God the Father, through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the establishment of His Kingdom on this earth in the very near future.

All events are leading to and explicitly for this purpose.

  11. .....Concerning the first item, with a Republican congress there is absolutely no excuse for obamas and hillarys treasonous crimes to go unindicted. I don't know about you, but as a concerned voter, I'm very disappointed with the people from the GOP we put in 2 years ago. They could have had impeachments, indictments, you name it, instead they seemed to just play along.
Concerning the second item, am I looking in the wrong places, or is coverage pretty scarce?

  12. Sean,

Do you know if a conviction is needed before a pardon can occur? In other words, can a president preemptively pardon someone at any point preceding that (investigation, charges files, indictment, etc)?

Seems like, if my memory serves, this may have been what Nixon benefited from after gus resignation, but not sure.

    Jonathan

    ReplyDelete
  13. Jonathan,

According to the U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, the President of the United States "shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment."

This requires that the U.S. Department of Justice charge Hilly Rodham Clinton with having committed a crime or crimes against the United States.

On 27 July 1974 the House of Representatives, Judiciary Committee, charged President Richard M. Nixon with the first of three articles of impeachment. On 8 August 1974 Nixon resigned rather than face impeachment, and tendered his letter of resignation the next day. On 8 September President Gerald Ford issued a full pardon to Richard M. Nixon for any and all offenses against the United States.

Even though Nixon was no longer in office he still was liable to an indictment by a grand jury. President Ford's pardon precluded any formal indictment of Nixon.

    ReplyDelete
  14. By the way, the SF-312 (Non-Disclosure Agreement) that Hillary Rodham Clinton signed on her first full day as U.S. SECSTATE makes moot any claims she's made publicly about there not being any classified information in her emails or on her private email server or her government-issued Blackberry wireless device.

SF-312 made it absolutely binding upon her as U.S. SECSTATE to ensure the security of classified information whether it was marked or unmarked as classified information.

    Game, Set, Match.

    Indictment imminent.

  15. hartdawg,

With respect to the second item, you're looking in the wrong places. As the item states, "according to Middle Eastern sources..."

This items comes 100% from sources in the Middle East that most folks in the U.S. will never read and the Obama Administration lap dog media will never put to print. Not even pro-Islam FoxNews will publish this kind of material.

The coming war is largely of Obama's making, just as the Egyptian, Tunisian, Libyan and Syrian civil wars are largely of his making due to his Cairo speech and the "Arab Spring" it ignited among jihadist Muslims.

    ReplyDelete
  16. There's 2 more "items" that have really been on my mind that I have been wondering about a lot lately. I don't know if they're post worthy, I think a quick answer is sufficient for me. Here they are
    1) what is your take one the steadily declining oil prices? Is there any prophetic significance,or is it just the normal ebbs and flows, (that's my thinking anyway)?

2)we know that israel will wake up from it's slumber during the 70th week, but can we expect a partial awakening prior to the catching away? I ask this because I heard some teachers say that israel is starting to wake up now. Can this be substantiated?

    ReplyDelete
  17. hartdawg,

It's the unleashing of the vast amounts of recoverable oil in the US that is responsible for the drop in oil prices. It's the basic economics of supply and demand.

US domestic production has doubled which has caused gas prices to fall from $3.00 per gallon to around $1.50 over the past couple of years, and which has also drastically cut U.S. dependence on foreign oil imports. Our own oil is cheaper because transportation costs are far less than imported oil. It's an across the board savings for consumers on all hydrocarbon products. Prices will likely go still lower than they are currently.

This is hurting the Middle East and Russia, but is a boon to the US and Canada. It has to be watched carefully because economic hardship in Russia will for that government to find distractions and scapegoats elsewhere - like the US and Israel.

I see no evidence yet of a major movement in Israel towards Jesus as Messiah. All prophecy that I am aware of speaks to Israel's redemption being in the 70th Week just as Gabriel has foretold.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hartdawg,

There are a few interesting groups in Israel that are starting to shine for Messianic Jews but as Sean said they dont make it to the level of Major movements. There seems to be a LOT of Jews that are curious and even believe but CANNOT admit to anyone for fear of losing family and even bodily harm.

Check out "One for Israel" they are a great organization of native Israeli's that run an outreach to Jews and Arabs and have even started their own school of evangelism.

As matter of fact late last year they managed to get an Israel TV station to feature them, their cause and their opporation in a Israeli Culture feature ON TELEVISION. It was a major leap and huge blessing for them. However after maybe one show out of a series the orthodox Jews raised a fit and got the TV station to not air anymore...

So they can use our prayer and support.

  19. Yes, we must provide what monetary support we can manage and our prayers for evangelical outreach to Jews and Arabs in Israel! More on this later.

  20. As a Jew, professing faith in our Messiah is truly not easy – it requires a level of courage that I imagine most gentile believers that have had the privilege of living in the United States all their lives may find it hard to relate to. I will preface this by noting that most non believing Jews have a very wary view of "Christians" because of the appalling history of the "Christian" church, which I won't belabor here. People of my parents' generation in the United States suffered a great deal of discrimination and abuse from many of the gentiles in this country, whom they understandably viewed as representative of “Christians.”

When I was 14 years old, I told my father that I thought Jesus was probably the Messiah, and he summarily said he was throwing me out on the street (he was not kidding). My father has a gentle heart but suffered a severe TBI during WWII - he was the only sailor that survived without permanently needing a wheelchair when his destroyer escort was bombed in the Mediterranean during the invasion of the south of France. He saved the lives of 2 other sailors by pulling them onto some stable floating debris before blacking out. He was in a coma for weeks (his family had a funeral for him, they had received a “form telegram”) and when I was young he had repeated violent rage fits (a common result of TBI, although that was not understood at the time), as a consequence I was terrified of him growing up. When my father said he was throwing me out, my mother, who was very self-absorbed/had her own issues and had never expressed any outward concern for me before in regards to his violent behavior (and still cannot openly acknowledge it), stood up to him and told him to control himself or she would throw him out of the house! (LOL) Now that I am older and more familiar with scripture I recognize this was not unlike Balaam's ass - this was something the Lord Himself did through her to protect me at that moment in time. Please continue to pray for Jews everywhere to be brave and trust in the Lord. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Religion has always been the most effective tool of the devil. Men from pulpits from every religion have manipulated people who take their word as truth no matter how far fetched the doctrine is. The false teachers will wax worse and worse.
While we have time may our light so shine as to lift Jesus up and God draw all peoples to His Son. Grace and truth came through Jesus. A believer will be recognized by the fruit of the Spirit.
Thanks for the testimony and God bless your father for his service in WWII.

  22. Lance I am sure that feeling isn't out of line at this point...

As far as candidates I have been for Cruz and will stick with him. He is a Born Again Christian who has no problem displaying his faith and stands up for the rule of law in congress whether it is popular or not.

Carson, I do like Ben Carson however he has stated he doesn't believe in hell. Seems strange...

Rubio, wishy washy in his stands on several items in congress and is roman catholic. Anyone who thinks they "re-sacrifice" Christ and then eat his body during communion (eucharist) looses my vote.

Sorry for being a stickler but for now I haven't heard anything strange about Cruz.

  23. Hi Sean, Lance and all,
I totally agree with everything you said Sean. Lance, I agree with you also, this will probably be our last presidential election. I very much hope so. So tired of it here! As I posted before I'm a Ted Cruz supporter. As a native Iowan, I had many tears last Monday evening watching the redemption for my home state that was taking place after the horrific thing that happened in Iowa eight years earlier. When BO won the caucus in Iowa eight years ago I was in shock. I knew our Lord had used Iowa for this antichrist's rising. Many tears that night as well. I wasn't very proud of my home state then but I am now. I was just wondering this morning that if God places Ted Cruz in the White House, how long will he actually have to serve since he'll be going with us to meet Jesus in the air? I was actually thinking about volunteering to help Ted's campaign but do not necessarily want to work the phone or go door to door. Does anyone know what other jobs volunteers do to help with campaigns? Maybe mailers? I definitely think Ted Cruz was born for such a time as this. I can hear BO on TV right now lecturing us on fear. He needs America to stay asleep and allow all the illegals and muslim refugees to get in as soon as possible to complete our undoing! He knows his time is limited! I hate when this antichrist speaks of Jesus and pretends to be a Christian!! Wow, we are really on a ride of our lives!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thanks Ken, your comment got me to look deeper at this. It's really pretty cut and dried now that a deeper look has been done. So...

A little more clarification on Dr. Ben Carson. He's a loyal member of the SDA (Seventh Day Adventist) church; and this is why his personal view of hell differs greatly from the rest of Protestantism. Also, the SDA, through the official church prophet (Ellen White) takes a rather dim view of all other non-SDA denominations, particularly those who celebrate the Sabbath on Sunday rather than Saturday. The SDA also does not advance teaching about the Harpazo; they believe all non-SDA believers will partner with Satan during the 70th Week. This is SDA doctrine.

Well, as far as SDA doctrine goes, I have to reject it. That means I also have to change my previous statement - I cannot vote for Dr. Carson on the basis of his SDA beliefs. He is saved through Christ Jesus, but I cannot vote for him.

Now I also have to look closer at Marco Rubio.

  25. All,

Good comments! I have to confess that I liked the Donald for a bit because of his ability to ruffle the feathers of the establishment. He got under the skin of virtually every group/media/party out there, and I loved it. I believe most of the recent elections are just show anyway, and the subversive agenda always plays out. Trump and Cruz appeared to be allies in the beginning, which really put a smile on my face. However, that has deteriorated rapidly. Trump may (knowingly or unknowingly) be a decoy or Trojan horse. He has switched allegiance before, which means he could do it again. I am favoring Cruz at this point, but I believe this election to be irrelevant in the respect that no candidate can stop what has been set in motion....that and we know who is in control of every detail. The options for the opposition are appalling and point to the sad state of our populace. The whole system/process makes me sick, and part of me doesn't want Cruz or any other brother/sister in Christ to have to wade into that mess. They need our prayers more than our votes, however they need our votes too. If this IS our last election, let's make sure our voices are heard because we are voting for principles more than politics....more than ever before.

    Lance

  26. I like Rubio a lot....I think BO is certainly a great deceiver, a type of Anti-Christ. Hearing him and a brief watching of the Dem town hall, it's interesting how easily many can be decieved. Of course, the Real AC will be a master at this.
I think the US has been mostly conquered at this point BUT the Lord is the final arbiter of this.

    ReplyDelete
  27. About Rubio... from what I have seen in a spate of data mining, he was baptized in both the LDS-Mormon and Roman Catholic churches, and has more recently, and for lack of a better word, dabbled in on-again off-again membership in an evangelical church.

However, when asked point blank if he has ever confessed his sins and accepted Christ Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior... his long, dodging, spoken-like-a-true-politician answer amounted to a near definitive - no. No, as in, close but no cigar.

So, I stand corrected by the public record, and despite Marco Rubio's electioneering public pronouncements in Iowa about "the Lord Jesus Christ," Marco Rubio, by his own public record admission, has never prayed the sinner's prayer for salvation in Christ Jesus.

    ReplyDelete
  28. In our ability to exercise free will, and so doing in prayerful beseeching of the Lord's will, when it comes down to it, vote your individual conscience.

I am assuming that these candidates who profess faith in Christ have also prayerfully sought out that it is the Lord's will for them to be candidates, and NOT solely on the basis that political supporters wanted them to become so engaged in this process.

His will has never and will never be defeated.

  30. Brethren, I wanted to share a few thoughts. I am unsure if you are aware that Mr. Cruz's wife is an employee of Goldman Sachs who took a leave to help her husband with his campaign. I won't go into detail, and I respect your opinion if it differs from mine, but that is a matter of such concern to me that I would not in good conscience be able to consider supporting him. I share the concerns expressed here regarding Marco Rubio - in addition to issues many of you raised related to his faith, Rubio's campaign is on the hook to Goldman Sachs big time. You may be aware that Louis Farrakhan has a very sketchy past and has been virulently antisemitic, so you you may be surprised (I was dumbfounded) when one of my adult sons found an interview that he did recently in support of Trump. The thumbnail version of that interview was that all of the candidates have been bought, with the exception of Trump (the interview went into a lot more depth than I can describe here).

I have many serious reservations about Trump too, but at the moment if I had to vote I think that is who I would vote for. The comfort we have in all of this is from Proverbs 21:1 - The king's heart is in the hand of Jehovah as the watercourses: He turneth it whithersoever he will. Let's all pray that the Lord's will be done, and let us pray for the Lord's wisdom and blessing to fall upon our next President, whoever he is, as he will surely need it. Let us pray that our fellow citizens turn their hearts toward God. With God all things are possible. Amen.

  33. Rhonda,

I went in the question about whether or not the wife of Ted Cruz was an issue with an open mind and not predisposed one way or another. Here's what I've determined from multiple open sources of information.

Heidi Suzanne Nelsen, born August 1972 in San Luis Obispo, California, is the daughter of SDA missionaries who labored in dentistry (her father) in the African countries of Nigeria and Kenya. Her growing up home was in San Luis Obispo. She comes from a family of literal generations of medical doctors. Her father, mother and brother were all either dentists or dental hygienists.

Growing up. from the ages of 6 to 16, her daily routine was to awake at 5 AM and read the Bible, piano practice, go to school, come home and bake lots of bread from 4 to 8 PM. This was bread she and her brother would sell at the nearby, friends of the family owned Gopher Glen Apple Farm between August and November. The two of them did this for about 8 years, earned each of them about $150 per week. During this time, as a 12-year old, her career interest in politics and government came to the fore when she became a supporter of Ronald Reagan's 1984 second term campaign. (12 years old. That is exceptional.) Heidi used her bread baking and selling money saved to buy her first car and help pay for her first year of college. Talk about your independent, hard-working self-starter! Most impressive.

Heidi went on to become an extremely well educated young woman: Claremont McKenna College (economics and international relations degree); University of Strasbourg, Alsace, France; Université Libre de Bruxelles and Harvard Business School where she earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA). A top-notch academic she made herself very academically prepared for a career in defense of freedom and public policy at the highest levels of our government.

She came to believe in the principles espoused by President Ronald Reagan (as do I also). Principles such as American exceptionalism, rugged individualism, the American pioneer spirit, and that government serves the people and is made by, for and of the people who were Created in the image of God.

Heidi began her government employment as a Capitol Hill intern, and then work at the U.S. National Security Council during the George W. Bush Administration as the economic director for the Western Hemisphere. Heidi met Ted Cruz in Austin, Texas during 2000 when both were policy aides during G.W.B. presidential campaign. They were married five months after meeting.

Ted's interest in government continued, while Heidi moved into business taking job offers from JP Morgan Chase, and eventually Goldman Sachs, where she is currently a managing director of investment banking in Houston, Texas. Heidi is Ted's partner, they are devout Christians. Heidi was indispensable in Ted's election campaign to the US Senate. Ted's election and then his freshman Senator filibuster challenge to defund Obamacare firmly set the tone and the agenda for The Ted Cruz presidential run.

There is nothing in Heidi's background, education or government service that would prevent yours truly from considering to cast a vote for her husband. Moreover, I think Heidi Suzanne Cruz has the background to make her one of the most influential and successful First Ladies in American history should Ted Cruz get elected as POTUS, God-willing.

The security forces of all bases within CONUS are now fully armed, and they are exercising constantly for intrusion and 'active shooter' scenarios, among others.

The training of all base personnel in these areas is also an annual mandatory requirement - even for civilians.

Also, every single building or on-base structure has an emergency response liaison assigned to it from among that building's occupants.

It's the off-post, off-duty things and locales that bother me as the most obvious security risks. Most are aware of the need to be alert, but a well-trained opponent will always be a threat. Vigilance.

  39. Sean, I apologize in advance if this offends anyone. I am reluctant to stir up any further controversy, but I do want to state this for the record. Heidi Cruz came on board at Goldman Sachs in 2005, during the years when Goldman was actively promoting its collateralized debt instruments, the unwinding of which led to the subprime lending crisis, which in turn spawned the world financial crisis. The firm she joined as a Private Wealth Manager in 2005 was instrumental in creating that situation. Unlike other investment banks such as Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers, which were bankrupted by the crisis, at the same time that it was promoting/underwriting the CDOs, Goldman was actively but quietly betting against its customers, so that in the fall of 2007, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal, they made record profits of over $4 billion on the collapse of the CDO market.

Ironically, around the same time Heidi Cruz came on board at Goldman, I was an employee of a public utility that had to sell itself due to financial mismanagement (they dabbled in unregulated businesses and it was their undoing). In the early part of 2005, while looking for work I was contacted by a recruiter for Goldman in regards to an opening. I can only tell you that I had an uneasiness of spirit, and after praying about it with my husband, although I was very concerned about needing a job (I have 2 disabled adult children and we really, really need my medical insurance) I declined to pursue it.

Of course, Heidi Cruz is neither personally responsible for the world financial crisis, nor is she running for president. But I am still uneasy about the Cruz's choices and the group of professionals that she (and presumably her husband, who must have approved this as the leader of their household) are willing to affiliate with.

I am very thankful for this forum. We can agree to disagree and remain brethren. I respect those whose opinions differ and pray for the best for the Cruz family. There is no question that all of these things are being sifted by the Lord for His purposes. May His kingdom come soon!

  40. For those who are interested, I'm starting to see more and more christians coming out in support of cruz. I'm seeing this on Facebook and blog sites. I'm not sure how long this will last. But that's what I'm seeing now

  41. Miriam,

No apologies necessary!!! You need never apologize for being honest!!!

As stated in my 4 February comment above, "In our ability to exercise free will, and so doing in prayerful beseeching of the Lord's will, when it comes down to it, vote your individual conscience."

You've made your case regarding your feelings toward Ted and Heidi Cruz in a most Christian manner and that has to be respected by all concerned. I certainly do respect your expressed views.

  42. I totally agree Sean, disgusting.

I read that North Korea had launched a satellite( called the shining star) in space and it achieved 300 miles above earth and flew over the stadium when the game was over. Thankfully our technology will probably protect us but most in the U.S. are more interested in super bowl commercials than national threats.

  43. Didn't you love the commercial villainizing cash as "old" cash and hailing the arrival of "new" cash (in this cash pay pal)? The one world agenda seems to be in overdrive, and so many don't even understand what is happening right in front of their eyes.

We went a a friend's house for a watching party, and one of the wives was talking about the new TV show "Lucifer" and how it was funny and entertaining.....people are being set up to accept the AC, and it is pretty much blatantly out in the open. We must be VERY close.

  44. My adult son and I were talking about the disgust portrayed and messages of the half-time show this afternoon. When we were talking this scripture came to mind and I shared it with him.

Mark 8:36 King James Version (KJV)

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Beyonce seems to have it all. Money, fame, having a good time, friends with the president. She has been seduced by the dark side illuminati, LGBT, new world order.
She is a friend of the world's but an enemy of God's, so so sad!

  45. Insightful comments for sure. If we could take, say Teddy Roosevelt or even centuries ago, John Adams...and shown them the halftime show, they would be intensely shocked. But as the frog was boiled a degree per day, so is our worldly culture formed. We notice it but that's the Holy Spirit within. The modern day "bread and circuses". Of course SPQR was conquered!

  46. History: Senātus PopulusQue Rōmānus was the Roman Republic (509 BC to 49 through 27 BC). It was between 49 and 27 BC that the Roman Republic was overthrown by the Roman Empire (Imperium Romanum) following decades of civil war battles. In 27 BC Caesar Augustus became the dictator.

The period of civil war began when Julius Caesar and his Legio XIII Gemina crossed the Rubicon River from Gaul into Italy. The Roman Empire was, pure and simple, a dictatorship that was largely supported by the people from Julius Caesar's invasion and crossing the Rubicon. The Roman Empire existed intact until 385-395 AD when the division into Western and Eastern halves began to occur.

From the Lord's perspective given to us through the prophet Daniel by the angel Gabriel, Rome has never ceased to exist, and it its final form at the start of the 70th Week will consist of 10 kingdoms (represented by 10 crowns and the 10 toes of two separate feet), three of which will be unified as one and under the direct dictatorial control of the Antichrist.

  47. Sean, I should've parsed it -"the Old Roman Empire". Very interesting to witness the development of the 'New', especially the Israel/Cypress/Greece alliance.
    THX for your study.

  48. Scipio,

I was using your note about SPQR as a vehicle to teach how history (and prophetic fulfillment) unfolds over time, just as in our time we're watching the end times unfold day in and day out.

For us it is the difference between the macro view and the micro view - we can see all of (the macro) Rome's history, but can only guess at the next event (the micro) in the development of what His Divine prophesy says will be.

It took Rome just 22 years to fall from Republic to Dictatorship.

How long will it take this Republic and the other ostensibly Western Republics to fall into Dictatorship?

It may be the inevitable result as prophecy tells us it will be, but there are many of us who fight against it (the rise of evil Empire) by tooth and nail. And so we should continue until the Harpazo takes all restraint (us as indwelt by the Holy Spirit) out of the way. It's doing the Lord's work; being an active participant in His will.

  49. I wanted to share an additional political comment to this thread, rather than one of the top threads at the moment (so it will be somewhat on topic), something that I believe the Spirit has been repeatedly bringing to my mind recently, from Matthew 7 (NIV): "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"

I pray that the Spirit gives each of us wisdom and discernment in the days to come.
