🔺21 December 2016: A new feature on the Eschatology Today blog as we move into 2017 will be Breaking News Alerts. It only makes sense given the rapidity and unpredictability of events that in addition to the standard Global SITREP that breaking news alerts are part of the mix here. Breaking news alerts will be heralded by the red triangle symbol.

ReplyDeleteOther than this, I could manually enter someone's email address to receive a new post notification. Not want to intrude on folks privacy, I've kept this method low key, but it is an option.

AMEN! Time after time I’m reminded that in God’s calendar there are 360 days long years, which is a good thing to keep in mind. The reason why I was asking you about the possible length of time between Damascus’ destruction and the attack of the Gog-Magog armies is because some of the prophecy watchers are on the opinion that Damascus’s destruction will trigger the Gog-Magog attack, adding that the Gog-Magog countries’ economies are in bad shape so they could also come for a spoil. But I was thinking, if Damascus’ destruction is triggering the Russians/Iranians and Co. to attack why are they asked the reason of their attack by Western nations (who are only protesting). Plus, Israel will need some time to expand her territories before the Gog-Magog attack. That’s the reason why I’d like to know what you think about the possible length of time between Damascus’ destruction and the Gog-Magog attack on Israel.

ReplyDeletePer the the Lord's prophetic word, the only time between Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38/39 would be that identified by the Lord in narrative of Ezekiel 38:8
"After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely."
Syria is not the only nation to suffer in Isaiah 17, Israel also take some damage but emerges victorious. The period of time here is for Israel's recovery from the wounds afflicted by this "sword" and her transition to a nation living in safety and security, fearing no other nation. I believe this will be a rapid transition simply because not much time remains before the 70th Week is likely to commence.
