UPDATE 24 March 2019: Big happenings expected in the next 48 hours based upon the happenings of the past 72-96 hours.
Israel's PM Netanyahu arrives in Washington, D.C. for an important summit with President Trump tomorrow. At that summit Trump will present an official document of U.S. recognition of Israel's annexation of and sovereignty over the Golan Heights. This summit comes just 14 days prior to Israel's highly-charged national election. (Just a note, both PM Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman are in the U.S.) With the official recognition of te Golan as Israeli territory there is an anticipation of violence to erupt on that front.
SECSTATE Pompeo also traveled to Beirut to warn the Lebanese government of the dangers it faces by allowing Hezbollah to control the national destiny.
The U.S. and Israel have successfully completed testing of anti-ballistic missile (ABM) systems in Israel against both long and medium range ballistic threats.
A large-scale IDF operation inside Gaza is currently on a short fuse. Heavy IDF reinforcements have been arriving in the area non-stop. Of note, last night was among the most violent along the entire Gaza border region, but the IDF offered virtually no response to those attacks. This is a strong I&W of the large-scale operation commencing in a matter of hours. The scale of this imminent operation has been discussed here within the past month, so no one should be surprised by it.

Unrelated to Middle East events, but of keen interest. Uniformed Russian Federation military forces and their equipment have arrived in Venezuela within the past 24 hours. They were photographed disembarking from IL-62M and AN-124 heavy lift aircraft at Maiquetia International Airport.
21 March 2019: At 1PM today the President of the United States of America tweeted this message:
"After 52 years it's time for the United States to fully recognize Israel's Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability."
14 March 2019: About four hours ago rockets were fired at Tel Aviv from Gaza. It is currently assessed that these rockets were the Fajr-5 type made by Iran and smuggled into Gaza for Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) to use against Israel. With the rejection of their demands noted below, it was expected that something like this would take place. Israel contacted the Egyptian delegation in Gaza and told them to depart from Gaza with all due haste.
A significant Israeli response has commenced against the Gaza terrorists as of 19:30 EDT.
13 March 2019: This topic has been discussed on Eschatology Today for quite some time, and based upon all of the real-world events, war-time actions, wars and rumors of wars that have been placed before us within the past 30 days, dare this blog put forth the assessment that, yes, it does appear the time has arrived for the flood of literal prophetic fulfillment to commence in very short order.
The precise sequence is no longer of concern as elements of all of the prophetic pre-70th Week military engagements are now present in one form or another, both around Israel and along the periphery as we've recently discussed. How does the weight of all this get walked back to the relative stability of just a few months ago? It probably can't be walked back, so down the slippery slope the Middle East will almost certainly go. Brothers and sisters, we're talking inevitability at this point, and that's the thing about Bible prophecy - it inevitably comes to pass as written by the ancient prophets.
Look at Jerusalem. The Temple Mount issue is legitimately a white-hot coal. Then look at Gaza. The terrorists of HAMAS and PIJ presented a list of cease fire demands through Egyptian mediators that was so outrageous no Israeli government however liberal could accept them, much less a conservative Likud government facing election in about a month, on top of a purely political witch hunt to carve several pounds of flesh from the current embattled Prime Minister. Then look at the Lebanese and Syrian front. We've been on this through a four-part set of SITREPs, each one becoming more inflamed that the last. And some have said the Syrian civil war is over; that Bashar al-Assad won. Eschatology Today says, nonsense. Damascus and Syria's future fate are foretold quite explicitly in Scripture.
Look at the whole, like a big picture, and there's Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49:23-37; Psalm 83 with the attendant parallel prophecies of Isaiah 11:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:24-26. How does Israel fully deal with Hezbollah without a literal fulfillment of Joshua 13:1-7. Plus Iran and it's ballistic and nuclear program once again are approaching, pun intended, critical mass. Further afield, several of the 'kings of the East" are rumbling, all three with nuclear weapons at the ready and the means to deliver them. So, with this as the current situation the next report could be about any or all of the above prophecies in any combination thereof.

At least with this and the ensuing alarm that will be sounded and felt most assuredly, people will be seeking answers and they all know that what they have been told by the media in the past 3 years have mostly been nothing but a pack of lies coming from the wolves of the Globalist Pack of wolves. ReplyDeleteOh yes, I do have what I believe is the most Scripturally sound insight in response to your question.
The answer is three-fold: it illustrates Israel at present; the nearness of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38/39, and also contrasts to ancient Israel in Biblical times.
Israel is today a nation where the heavily urban city areas blend into suburbia, which gradually blends into less populous areas and isolate settlements. Here are three images as examples of each... and if i were not identify where these places are, well, they'd probably be mistaken for Any City or Anytown, USA.

In ancient times virtually all cities and twons were surrounded by a wall of some sort which had gates for access. The description of Jericho is a perfect example as its surrounding wall is the oldest of its type on earth.

Israel, just prior to Ezekial 38/39 is also described as living in safety and security because all of her present day enemies will have been militarily subdued via fulfillment of the prophecies that have been noted on this blog, such as Ezekiel 28:24-26 (NKJV).
"And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God.”
‘Thus says the Lord God: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob. And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”
Praying for Rhonda and her family. So many things going through my mind but all of it is good. God has blessed all of us so very much with the wealth of HIS WORD and every time I get a little jittery, up pops another passage that just really soothes my soul.

My heart is really wishing I could be in Israel right now but might be somethings are best to be remembered and not fulfilled. Thinking about Sean's message about the Garden of Gethsemane and how the disciples were not ready for the reality of what was right there upon them. It made me wonder how many of our friends that worship God with us but were not really Believers that Jesus was and is the Son of God. HE is coming and HE is very REALLY the SON of God and we are getting ready immediately to go up to meet him above the earthly abode we now are tied to.

It seems to me that the Psalm 83 war is about to erupt. Israel is being pressured from Gaza, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and others. It's interesting that Russia is backing off for a while, replacing their best fighters and bombers with some older models; probably using them as placeholders at their airbase. I believe Isaiah 17 will quickly come into play and likely the destruction of ancient Elam (Jeremiah 49:34-39) maybe in tandem. In spite of the naysayers, I don't believe Ezekiel 38-39 is ready to happen. Scripture must be fulfilled just as God has decreed it. After what is about to happen, Russia will find itself being pulled back down to the Middle East to fulfill its destiny in the Gog-Magog war. Everything is escalating quickly! Even so come, Lord Jesus! "Soon and very soon, we're going to see the KING..."

So, for the record, IDF says any ordnance that comes out of Gaza is HAMAS responsibility, and they will be hit 50 times over.
I assess HAMAS is not prepared for war; they're not prepared to coordinate full-scale war with Hezbollah and Iranian forces on the northern front at this time, so they make empty promises to Israel to buy some more time.
If Israel is hitting Hamas 50 times for ordinances, it makes sense they destroy Damascus when Syria/Iran does something major to Israel's Northern region.

Sean, Israel usually gives notice to the house or building it suspects a missile was launched before destroying it. Could God be the one who causes a misfire of a nuke that was going to be launched from Damascus to Israel? Or does verse 25 imply Israel does give them notice to evacuate and the Syrian government doesn't let anyone leave?

ReplyDeleteThank you all for your prayers regarding my father. He doesn’t realize he is a “picture” of the church age to me. Doesn’t the church have a heart issue regarding Israel? We went to a Lutheran Church that teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ but they think the church has replaced Israel (replacement theology). The church (overall) has no strength left and is sleeping, just like my earthly father. Dad was not a perfect man of course, no one is, but he made sure the family went to Sunday school, church and Lutheran School, where we could study the Bible in school. He insists that I read Portals of prayers to him every morning, I usually can’t get through it without crying. Now the hostilities are worsening, amazing times!!! My father and mother know the love of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross to pay for our sins, so I need to rest in knowing their eternal life like ours has already begun. These are the days I have to remember that God is in charge and not me! Get your popcorn, the final act is about to commence!!! In thanksgiving for this blog and all of you! Maranatha

ReplyDeleteYouth from all over Gaza began rioting against HAMAS, and despite HAMAS gun fire against them the rioters ranks have increased and the riots widened into other Gazan towns.
And so the next pang strikes... the Gaza border is now awash with violence and IED ordnance being heaved into Israel...

And those plans do, no doubt, include Mr. Netanyahu as well as Mr. Trump. That is going to be so evident, especially over the next 5 days, as it was today when Bibi made the above quoted statement.
To repeat it with the due emphasis: "There are NO LIMITATIONS to Israel's freedom of action when it comes to Iranian entrenchment in Syria."
I could be wrong, but it may be that Bibi's statement may have to sink in a bit longer before folks fully grasp its importance.
What I assess is that "no limitations" belies the full kinetic power the IDF possesses hitting the proverbial fan ... in Syria. The green light was turned on.

The RF troops are most likely a tripwire intended to ward off US-led OAS military intervention in Venezuela.

ReplyDeleteA note of thanksgiving for your prayers during my father's health crisis between the battlefield updates. About 3 weeks ago he and my mom thought he was dying. Dad even asked God to take him home. Dad told me this a few days ago before I had to leave back to Pennsylvania where I live. With the help of God, the doctors, nurses, nursing techs, and some really good medicine, my dad's life was saved. He had lots and lots of fluid in his lungs making it hard to breathe. Like I said in an earlier post, I think of dad kinda like the church age. Now, after his near death he is in another skilled nursing facility waiting to see if he proves himself capable to go back to the retirement home where my mom is or go to a nursing home because of the extra care he will need. He is in a waiting pattern just like us. My prayer during this horrible time was that God would allow dad to get better now and go with the rest of us in the Rapture. God has returned health to my dad momentarily but he has conditions that will eventually get the better of him. I hope we can all go to our true home to be with the Lord soon and very soon. Can't wait to meet you all ShelleyB and your mom, Justin, Alta and all............

Hi Sean: I wonder if you could offer your take or opinion on what is likely to break down relationships between Israel and the Saudi's and even Egypt--particularly in relationship to a major Mideast War prior to Ezekiel 38-39. I am a firm believer that a major conflict must happen prior, at least by my understanding of prophetic scriptures. I see much talk about good relations with the Saudi's but I know the old king is demanding special concessions for the Palestinians before he will accept any normal relations with Israel. I think the crown prince may be a bit more workable, but he's not king. I can easily see a breakdown with Jordan. I think that is brewing already. Just curious to your thoughts...Thanks
