| The Mā'ar Sallôn (Pricking Brier) |
UPDATED 26 February 2025: The current situation was foretold to Israel in the beginning, in the fourth of the five books of the Torah circa 1,400 and 1,440 years Before Christ, or at least 3,450 years ago.
In Numbers (Bemidbar) 33:50-56 we read where YHWH is speaking to Moses in Moab by the River Jordan, telling him to speak to all Israel about what they must do when they will cross the river into the land YHWH has given them to possess. The salient point here is in verse 55:
"But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell."
How utterly prophetic. I mean literally God-breathed, and the conclusion or ultimate fulfillment we find in Ezekiel 28:25
“And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.”
In our immediate future, assuming the Bride of Christ has not been taken up hither in the Harpazo, but certainly for all those unfortunates who find themselves left behind because they did not trust in Jesus to redeem them beforehand, the imminent prophecies concerning Iran, Syria and the Mā'ar Sallôn (Pricking Brier) will come to pass.
We have seen with our own eyes in the past 17 months how Iran, Syria and the Mā'ar Sallôn (Pricking Brier) have tasted war with Israel; most especially Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and now Judea and Samaria (again, how utterly prophetic has the Word of God been concerning "those whom you let remain"!) are on the elimination block, so to speak.
The initial actions of these last days prophecies place them all in the process of complete fulfillment, but exactly how they will arrive at the end state lies within the sovereignty of God and His appointed times. And to be sure, Israel, still largely in disbelief, has suffered much overwhelming tragedy, but the birth pangs have not yet run their course. Isaiah 17 makes this potently and abundantly clear.

The earthly human intelligence voices that Israel's leadership should be and hopefully are listening to are saying several things loudly these days. The Iranian nuclear program has never been more vulnerable. It is incredibly poor judgment to think that the Islamic jihadists now in control of Syria will not act against Israel. There are very good reasons why Israel has been striking targets in and around Damascus constantly in the past several hours. The same goes for all of the terrorist monsters in Gaza, Lebanon, Judea, Samaria and even in southern Jordan.
UPDATE 1 March 2025: Top of the list for this update is the crash 'n' burn performance of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in front of President Trump, and VP Vance and American national TV audience. The utter embarassment drove Ukraine's ambassador to holding her bowed head in her hands.
As noted here two weeks ago, watchmen are now closely monitoring Europe where the situation is rapidly ripening for the rise of a strong leader. Perhaps the 14-day series of EU emergency summits will conclude today in London, UK where a select group of 10 to 12 key nations are assembled? We'll see, as Scripture assures the "little horn" rises as a peacemaker and a warrior.
The prospect of a nuclear world war is literally on the lips of all concerned! In 2014 when the Russia-Ukraine war really began with Russia's invasion of Crimea and the Donbas, Eschatology Today was first in warning of the 'last days' prophetic implications of the war, in particular the "hooks" of Ezekiel 38. There's solid prophetic proof in Ezekiel 38/39 of nuclear fire and other lethal nastiness raining down which is concurrent with the Harpazo and then the LORD God pouring out His Spirit upon all Israel. Witnessing Christ Jesus to the unsaved is an imperative Brothers and Sisters!

It comes as a real eye-opener this afternoon to see that PM Netanyahu and DM Katz have tasked the IDF to prepare to defend Jaramana from the new jihadist Syrian army.

Reports that the HTS leader (al-Sharaa) visited Jordan today; welcomed by the Jordanian King at the foot of the aircraft. Agreements reached regarding tariff exemptions on Syrian transport infrastructure, to assist movement of materiel between Jordan and Syria via the Jaber crossing.

Stage 1 of Gaza ceasefire complete.
ReplyDeleteCaptured HAMAS' plans to attack Israeli towns and IDF posts during this cease fire that were on the 1948 border with Jordan, but not so after June 1967.
Israel has green light to resume war if they so choose.
So now it is public knowledge: the IDF will resume the war in Gaza to annihilate HAMAS and PIJ no later than mid-April, but possibly sooner.
DeleteThe new IDF CoS Eyal Zamir will take command and present his completed plan to PM Netanyahu and DM Katz on Thursday, March 6.
The IDF will resume ground warfighting with at least 50,000 combat troops following a massive air assault by the IAF. This will be the largest and most lethal ground assault ever in Gaza.
First things first, the civilians will be sent into isolated and secured humanitarian zones during March. These areas will be the only ones to receive any humanitarian assistance. Civilians will want to be there as survival elsewhere in Gaza will not be assured.
There are certainly also contingency plans to deal with Iran, the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Syria.
The rest is prophetic.

The Dems coached Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a private meeting 40 minutes prior to the White House meeting for the rare minerals and security agreement. Zelenskyy had been coached to be firm and to reject the Trump Administration deal. What took place in the White House meeting is now a matter of history.
DeleteToday, as the London security conference with Zelenskyy began news came that two Russian Iskander missiles attacked and sank a Panamanian-flagged transport ship in port Odesa, Ukraine. Russia claims the ship carried weapons that were plulled from a NATO depot in Turkey.

DeleteI'm not really angry; I'm of the belief that this sort of thing leads to the fulfillment of the Lord's prophetic word.
As an example, I recall often how the zealots, i.e. Simon the Zealot, attacked the Romans in Jerusalem and overran that garrison; they then ambushed the Legio XII Fulminata. This led directly to the literal fulfillment of Jesus prophecy about the fall of Jerusalem and destruction of the 2nd Temple in 70 AD.

Dems did business with the Nazis pre-WW2 and FDR was an open admirer of Mussolini. It was a Dem politician who blabbed about US submarine tactics in the Pacific in early WW2 - cost 10 subs straight afterwards. Their more recent moral repugnancy directly contributed to both the US spiritual revival and to the rise of the current administration - which is not only administering domestic 'judgement' on the American left, but is also exactly the right Administration for assisting Israel in its role in prophecy. Ukraine in Nato means US support directly against Russia, which means WWIII. I didn't put that together until I read it, but it's so obvious. 1.) PM Starmer failed to name those EU nations
2.) Admitted that those nations needed US direct military involvement to be an effective deterent
3.) Omitted the fact that the "coalition of the willing" troops were all NATO troops, thus crossing the Russian red line to ignite a greater war in the whole of Europe.
The Euro plan is a non-starter without American troops and is a return to the nuclear MAD policy of the Cold War.
Since Zelenski signed a 100 yr contract with the U.K. 3 days before Trump took office. I can see why Trump threw him out of the oval office for trying to put one over on the U.S. and get our backing and troops but get nothing for it.

ReplyDeleteBy most accounts seen thus far, this past week saw President Trump, backed by VP Vance and the entire White House team execute a classic "art of the deal" with both Europe and Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteIt was an 'all or nothing' play that worked to perfection. Ukraine will sign the minerals deal with the United States. This places Ukraine as a virtual protectorate of the United States armed forces.
Without this deal coming to fruition Ukraine (and its coveted minerals) would eventually have been lost to Putin's Russian empire. Europe did not and does not have the necessary military forces to secure Ukraine against Russia, and without the US being the absolute bulwark it is to NATO the EU nations alone could not hope to arrest a Russian thrust into its Baltic members (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) not to mention certain nations of NATO's eastern front.
With President of the EC Ursula von der Leyen's (a/k/a 'Queen Ursula') announcement just yesterday of a "ReArm Europe" spending program of circa 800 Billion Euros it would take a minimum of 5 years for the infusion of cash to bulk up the EU defenses to requisite levels in countering Russia alone.
This is the result of the Trump Administration playing hardball with the EU, and I do attest that weeding through all of the rampant disinformation published in media recently was as difficult as has ever been experienced.

Sean, this also seems to tie into end times eschatology beautifully, in that Russia (Rosh) seems to come to "plunder and take spoil (booty)" from Israel (Ezek 38:12). No doubt God has appointed DJT for such a time as this (and we can even see the carnage left behind by the Obiden clan as playing a very important part in the setup too. The direct US-HAMAS talks did fail.
And he said there is a specific date involved but it is classified.

Syria is once again imploding (Isaiah 17) with the Alawites of Latakia governorate staging an armed insurgency against the Sunni jihadist government of al-Shara'a. More than 220 have been killed in the fighting.
ReplyDeleteBetween 125 and 135 Alawi civilians were summarily executed in Latakia after a pro-Assad militia ambushed al-Shara'a jihadist troops killing 100. The government has for the moment lost control of the coastal area of Latakia with Tartus and Hama also seeing fighting.

Reporting suggests that the IDF will return to warfare in Gaza on or about 17 March.
