Eschatology Today - Operation Epic Fury Endgame

 

16 March 2026: The same image that this series began with will now return for what appears to be the endgame for Operation Epic Fury and Roaring Lion. 

According to multiple sources major hostilities could conclude sometime in April, but that also depends on a set of expected decisive actions at the Strait of Hormuz and Kharg Island. FWIW, Kharg Island lies geographically south of ancient Elam.

18 March 2026: The 31st MEU is reported to be in the vicinity of Singapore and that indicates an arrival in the CENTCOM AOR in late March. Media speculation, like the Israeli media OpEd on their destination being Khuzestan, is also rife with speculation that these amphibious Marines mission will be to secure the Strait of Hormuz shoreline in Iran. The fact is, both Israeli and American media reports may or may not hold water. Khuzestan is assessed likely because it's part of Jeremiah's prophecy. In any case the 31st MEU, America's (911 first responders) are enroute.

20 March 2026: The war against the Twelver regime until now has primarily been an air war. Airstrikes by US and Israeli aircraft, missile strikes by Tomahawks and other long-range, standoff GPS-guided precision munitions. These strikes have, in military parlance, "set the conditions" for the battle which must now follow - seizing the Strait of Hormuz from Twelver control.

Most media report that Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz to martitime traffic. This is only partially correct. The Strait is divided with Iranian territorial water on the northern side, and Emerati and Omani waters on the southern side. VLCC tankers carrying millions of barrels of crude have had routine passage outbound to China and the East from Day One of this war. That would indicate there are no sea mines on the outbound passage of the Gulf. If there's Twelver mining in the Strait its likely on the southern side. 

However, IRGC fast mining craft like above are being hunted by the A-10s like dragon flies hunting surface skimming prey. They're highly skilled and effective hunters. 

There's strong I&W now that the inbound (due in mere days) 31st MEU will have as its core mission the high priority of taking control of the northern shore of the Strait. The 31st has all of the 'tools' necessary for such a mission set, from Boots to Choppers to F-35B strike aircraft.

Winning this battle will, conceivably, enable the eventual capture of important islands and other strategic targets further north along the Gulf coastline and the Endgame.

21 March 2026: The UK and Saudi Arabia have given the US permission to use their airbases for attacks on Iran, Fairford AB in the UK and King Fahd AB in Saudi. 

Shortly after the UK announcement the Twelvers launched two long-range missiles at Diego Garcia, a/k/a Bomber Island. One missile broke apart in mid-flight, the second was shotdown by an American SM-3 interceptor.

There are more rumors of war circulating that not only are two USMC MEU's heading towards Iran, but also elements of the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division (18th Airborne Corps) are being prepped for deployment. The Pentagon is doing its job in preparing multiple options and contingencies for the President to consider.

Gulf states say they are prepared for nine months of war. Israel says the objective of the war is not regime change, but rather regime collapse. Only with regime collapse can the Iranian people become the "boots on the ground" necessary to throw the Twelver regime into the dustbin of history.

The IRGC has demonstratively and conclusively proven that the US, Israel and virtually all Western intelligence estitmates of its missiles and their capabilities are dangerously in error. Iran in the past 24 hours has proven that it possesses intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). The time to take off the "kid gloves" has long since passed.

22 March 2026: A graphic from ISW/Critical Threats effectively illustrates the demonstrated range that Twelver IRGC ballistic missiles are capable of. This intelligence failure may have finally awakened the West to the threat presented in full color on 21 March 2026. The two ballistic missiles which were targeted at Diego Garcia immediately elicted a response from the UK in announcing the presence of their nuclear, tomahawk-armed submarine in the Arabian Sea.

Notice that the vast majority of Europe is well within range of these Twelver missiles.

Operation Epic Fury

28 February 2026: The usual first casualty in warfare is accurate information. This is due to the rush to report news. Eschatology Today will do its best to assure accuracy going forward. 

At the outset it does appear the fulfillment of the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39 may have begun. IRGC missile bases have gotten a few of their "arrows" in the air, but they are under a massive air assault by the United State and Israel armed forces at this time. Twelver regime leadership and military bases are getting significant attention. On the cyber front messaging to the Iranian people has begun with "Help has arrived." Instructions given on the role they are to play in the war, i.e. "take control of Iranian governance."

The IRGC has not been able to launch massive barrages of missiles, as is their preference; they're having launcher problems. The IRGC did manage to launch one missile each at Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. 

Operation Epic Fury is a comprehensive retaliation for ALL of the Twelver regime's attacks against the United States over the past 47 years. President Trump itemized these attacks in his televised comments at 02:45 AM this morning.

Thus far only the shortest range missiles in the IRGC inventory were able to be launched. They barely covered the width of the Gulf waters. The longer range missiles are now on the receiving end of incessant US and Israeli strikes.

Not one to rain upon the parades of freedom loving Iranians, but the death of the Ayatollah and his inner clique, and that which is yet to occur in Iran, it is necessary to turn to Ezekiel 38:5 to see clearly what the near future holds. Ezekiel 38/39, and the other ancient prophets of Israel, do not prophecy about peace. Trust the Word of the LORD.

2 March 2026: In response to many indescriminate missile attacks by the Iranian Twelver regime into all of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries they will now coordinate their counter-strikes into Iran with U.S. CENTCOM HQ. 

After a little more than a day of Israeli and US airstrikes the Command and Control (C2) Tehran can exercise over its forces is non-existent. All local IRGC, Basij, Artesh and what is left of their naval formations must conduct their operations independent of any higher headquarters tasking. The bulk of they navy has been sunk.

What did Eschatology Today say in the very first sentence above? Have readers taken that warning seriously? Not so much. False print information is flooding the internet in an overwhelming manner, and AI-generated video is not far behind. No one sitting in front of their computer screen can tell the difference between a genuine video and an AI-enhanced video or still image. Enjoy the show but know that most of it is NOT REAL.

Finally!!! SECWAR Hegseth just told the world what we've said here for years about the Iranian Twelvers and their theology. The key phrase in SECWAR Hegseth's statement was "prophetic islamic delusions." 

5 March 2026: While the US/Israel airborne assault on the Twelver regime has devastated their missile capabilities, that is, new production, existent stocks and the ability to launch, the obvious next phase now reveals itself which is the method to be used in neutralizing IRGC ground forces. 

The IRGC are fanatics that will need to be thoroughly decimated. The Basij, without fanatical leadership and the knowledge that the al-mahdi was nothing more than a Shi's Twelver delusion, will fold up like a cheap camera. The ground forces needed for this mission are the Persian peoples themselves, be they ethnic Azeri, Baloch, Kurd, Bakhtyar, Lur, Arab, Turk and Persian. 

The regime forces are known to be hiding in schools, sports facilities and the like where US or Israeli strikes are highly unlikely. It will take the well-armed and coherent formations of the peoples of Iran to root them out. We're talking here about an anti-Twelver civil war. They are certain to have US and Israeli air dominance on their side, yet such a campaign will take time.

6 March 2026: Trump says only "unconditional surrender" will save the Islamic Republic of Iran from total destruction. Such a thing is unheard of in the present age, and it's likely the term itself is completely alien to any faction of islam. However, this is Trump at his most unbounded imperial. This represents a major departure from the narrative found in the Scriptures.

12 March 2026: Knock, knock, knock. Who's there? GBU who?

Confirming satellite imagery and analysis also  collected by Maxar and Planet Labs. According to the IAEA the purpose of Taleghan-2 within the Parchin military complex was to develop the high explosive initiator in creating critical mass and nuclear detonation.

So, most likely it wasn't some massive GBU MOPs but rather the IDF's SPICE 2000s that made those three impact craters at Taleghan-2.

13 March 2026: Ever since Hezbollah entered the war on the Twelvers behalf the IDF been fighting two wars simultaneously, one by air over Iran and the other by air, land and sea against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The government of Lebanon has no love for Hezbollah, not any more. They'd rather sacrifice the terrorists to save the country.

The IDF is moving northward into Lebanon and engaging Hezbollah terrorists along the way. It seems the IDF would like to trap Hezbollah's forces south of the Litani River by making it a terrorist kill box. The main Hezbollah route over the Litani, the A-Zararia bridge on the Litani River, was destroyed yesterday. Before the bridge strike somewhere around 500,000 Lebanese civilians evacuated to the northern parts of Lebanon. 

There's talk in Israel to eliminate Hezbollah completely in this war as the geographic paradigm has changed. Syria is now Hezbollah's enemy, so they can't flee to the east or north and are trapped in Lebanon that lies north of the Litani River. Joshua 13 looms as a potential outcome.

24 February 2026: This inaugurates a new phase in the ongoing postings to Eschatology Today, from the longstanding Global SITREP series to a dated chronology simply termed Signs.

The establishment of the State of Israel is at the top of the list as a Sign of the end of this age. Make no mistake, the re-establishment of Israel in the Covenant Land is an ongoing process, witness the struggle over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

Within the past day something occured here that has not happened since Jesus walked on this land, and the Hasmonean's ruled until the Roman conquest. The national banner of Israel was raised atop Mount Sartaba which fronts on the Jordan Valley.

In Israel's ancient history and during the Second Temple period this mount held, and still does have deep religious and national importance. A Signal fire would light up on the Mount of Olives opposite the Temple, and then a Signal fire would lit on Mount Sartaba. Jews in Babylon understood this Sign. Now in this era the same signalling is taking effect echoing ancient times. On Rosh Chodesh Nisan a signal fire will be lit as a signal [via TV] to the Jewish diaspora all over the world that "Israel Lives." 

26 February 2026: "War and rumors of war" are a sign. The current rumor of war between the US/Israel and Iran is like an epic storm rumbling towards us over plains and mountains, or a tsunami rushing a relatively calm shoreline. Its sudden arrival will alter most things in ways that are currently only supposition or conjecture in the secular world. 

Bible prophecy is more direct in the effects that will take place. Iran under the Twelver regime will go from a major threat and number one terror sponsoring state in the world to a second or third-rate has-been power, such as the war-torn rump of Sudan and Libya. So says the ancient Spirit-inspired prophet Ezekiel. It is the nearness of Ezekiel's prophetic military action which is the clearest indication of when the Bride of Christ will be instantaneously taken up to be with the LORD. 27 February 2026:  As noted previously, the presence of Persia in the disastrous Magog confederation assault on Israel per Ezekiel 38/39, indicates a US/Israel attack in the near future will likely not achieve a regime change in the ruling theocracy. An attack or a "palace coup d'etat" could change the top tier Twelver leadership. Should this occur the most likely candidate for leadership and continuation of hatred for Israel might be Ali Larijani, a very close associate of Ayatollah Khamenei and the one he has personally tasked to ensure the survival of the Islamic Republic, even though Larijani is not a Twelver.

28 February 2026: Just when the visits to Eschatology Today tanked to rock bottom in the last 48 hours, the order was given and the U.S. Department of War began the execution of OPERATION EPIC FURY against the Islamic Republic of Iran at 0'Dark Thirty this morning. 

The State of Israel is also striking the Islamic Republic in concert with the US Armed Forces, making this a truly joint operation. Hezbollah targets in Lebanon have also been hit hard this morning by the IAF. At least one Israeli Naval Service (INS) submarine armed with Israel's second strike nuclear deterent put to sea this morning. It was last seen departing Haifa at high speed.

The Houthi's in Yemen have declared the Bab al-Mandab strait closed to all shipping. They claim to attack all US and Israeli ships they can reach.

In the Gulf the first strikes of Op Epic Fury hit several IRGC naval bases from which an attempt to deny transit access to the Strait of Hormuz would originate.

Twelver retalitation targeted the US Naval Support Activity in Manama, Bahrain. A video appears to show a direct hit on the US 5th Fleet HQ. There are also videos of Iranian missiles being shot down over the UAE.

The primary objective of Op Epic Fury appears to be neutralizing the Twelver regime (Tehran has been hit several times so far), its IRGC bases, infrastructure and nuclear sites. Given the intensity of action a new post will begin this morning.

Global SITREP A3-26: When A Rumor Becomes A War

 

The Strait of Hormuz

UPDATED 11 February 2026: USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) CSG-10 has received a WARNORD: prepare to deploy to the Middle East. CSG-10 is currently in the Atlantic Ocean. A subsequent order to deploy will place the air and naval power of two carrier strike groups, and likely two or more fast attack submarines, in striking distance of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Iranian negotiators will also have one last opportunity to agree to the terms presented.

The Strait of Hormuz seen in the high-altitude image above has, as expected, been named by the Twelver regime as a target to be shut down to maritime traffic in the event of war. Communist China would affected the most. It remains to be determined what type of Twelver action would halt transit through the strait.

It should not be lost on any of the Bride of Christ the transition that has taken place. We're no longer looking forward on things eschatological, but rather we're focused with laser-like accuracy upon current events as they are the fulfillment of prophecy.

13 February 2026: Several media reporting this morning that the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) and CSG-12 have been ordered to redeploy back to the Middle East! This would leave the Bush and CSG-10 in the Western Atlantic Ocean.

This news, hopefully in error, was unexpected because the Ford has been deployed at sea since June 2025. However, considering the new 30-day deadline President Trump imposed just yesterday upon Iran this might be a very short-term deployment extension.

17 February 2025: As the saying goes, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. So, here we go again. Last century "the West" negotiated with the Nazi's. Result: World War II. This century "the West" negotiates with Shi'a Twelvers hoping for a win-win and ignoring history. 

There is no difference between the Nazi's of the 20th century and the Twelvers of the 21st century. Both were/are based on false ideologies of supremacism. Peaceful coexistence with such was impossible in the 1930-40's and remains so in the late 2020's. Now imagine the Twelver Shi'a possessing nuclear weaponry. Is it not a certainty that war will again result from another failed attempt to negotiate with the Nazi's of the 21st century? 

There's not a direct reference to the Nazi's in Bible prophecy. Herein lies a distinct difference with a clearly stated prophecy concerning the Twelver regime ruling present-day Persia. This time there will be Divine intervention.

Final Update 23 February 2026: The media is chock full of postulations and supposed insider leaks about what President Trump is going to do in the next few days. Some of this is deliberate to keep the world guessing, but none of it matches precisely with Jeremiah's prophecy. Unknown are the ways such a war will affect the world. Eschatology Today interprets Jeremiah 49:34-39 as the ignition switch for a successive series of prophetic fulfillments. In anticipation this blog will now transition to the crux of Jesus' Olivet Discourse, i.e. The Signs of the end of the Age.

Global SITREP A2-26: Wars and Rumors Thereof

UPDATED 27 January 2026: CSG-3, imaged above, is the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), USS Frank E. Petersen, Jr. (DDG-121), USS Spruance (DDG-111) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG-112). Not imaged above but part of CSG-3 is an unknown U.S. Navy fast attack submarine. Embarked on CVN-72 is Carrier Air Wing-Nine (CVW-9) and Strike Fighter Squadron-Forty One (VFA-41). CVW-9 is three squadrons of F-35 Lightning II's; VFA-41 are F/A-18F Super Hornets.

The kinetic power of CSG-3 is nothing to mess with but its utilization in a strike on Iran is not yet 100 percent certain. Trump's decision, and he's got two camps of advisors, hawks and diplomats. 

The hawks want a strike by this coming weekend. They argue for the decimation of the IRGC's combat power and that's the peg leg the Twelver regime is standing on. 

The diplomats are said to be holding to a US demand that Iran rid itself of all HEU and end any further enrichment; a limit on the number of ballistic missiles and removal of all support to regional proxy forces in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen.

What's an apocalyptic Twelver regime to do? Eschatology Today believes the Twelver regime will utterly reject such dictates if they decide to talk. And waiting out Trump until CSG-3 sails away is not an option. That leaves kinetic action, a la Venezuela, from the fleet and stealth from over the horizon. Meanwhile, U.S. forces will move to their on-station positions.

4 February 2026: The possibility exists that the current status could drag on for another 13 days, or even longer. 

Recall the Trump "Peace Deal for Gaza." That is what happens when real estate moguls get into "negotiations" with islamic jihadists. A non-starter that breeds perpetual small-scale warfare with an enemy having no intention of complying with terms of the so-called agreement. 

Generational warfare is the result until the jihadists no longer number among the living. The residual is the jihadists ideology strait from their unholy tome which inspires a new generation of fundamentalism and its necessitate jihadism; the cycle repeats as it has for more than 1300 years. The folly of men who think themselves great.

Why does God allow this? Is it part of "the beginning of sorrows" that preceeds the angel Gabriel's prophecy of the 70th Week of Years? Perhaps it is and this is what Eschatology Today currently believes is true. No more 'wash, rinse repeat' because the current high-speed spin cycle is, according to Scripture, the last. We are the "last generation," the Bride of Christ awaiting our elopement with our Groom Jesus Christ.

Woe to the unbelievers and those who slumber.

UPDATE 6 February 2026: Following the end of the US and the Twelver regime talks in Oman today, the Iranian representative told the media the talks could not continue under threats and military pressure. To this the US Pentagon issued a response.

Global SITREP A1-26: Target Iran

 

UPDATED 1 January 2026: Day Four of the nation-wide anti-Twelver regime protests in the Islamic Republic might be remembered as the first day of the Iranian people's counter-revolution. 

In the city of Hamedan, the epicenter of the pro-monarchist Pahlavi aspect of the revolt, the IRGC HQ was attacked and set ablaze. One IRGC/Basij soldier was killed and at least a dozen were wounded according to early intel. The response from the government was live fire and gas grenades. 

A curious and unique development came from reformist Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian who said the rebelling populace have "legitimate grievances." Nothing like this has happened in the past ten years of Iranian popluar unrest. 

The question now is will kinetic and neutralizing military assistance be forthcoming from the US and/or Israel?

7 January 2026: The rebellion against the Twelver regime has grown almost exponentially with each passing day. The Twelver thugs level of violence has increased with each utterance by the murderer-in-chief, ayatolleh khamenei. 

And the talking heads in the U.S. political establishment, those not over-taken by Venezuelan issues, continue to assure the Iranian rebels that "help is on the way." What form that help will come in remains completely dark, or is at this point 100% covert. Israeli Mossad is present, so we assume our guys are also.

As Eschatology Today sees it, events are following Jeremiah's prophetic narrative as Ilam (Elam) province is slowly coming to the forefront.

Two cities in Elam have fallen since late yesterday to Iranian rebel forces: Malekshahi and Abdanan. Government thugs have either joined the rebellion or fled.

9 January 2026: Last night tens of thousands if not millions of Iranians took to the streets in cities all across Iran, including Tehran. The rebellion has expanded to every Iranian province. Government buildings have been set ablaze; security forces repelled by the sheer size of the throngs of rebellious citizenry.

Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah of Iran, congratulated the people for their bravery and he called for even larger protests tonight. His message has been heard acriss Iran even though a communications blackout was activated. Most importantly, the jihadist ideology of the Twelver regime has been thoroughly rejected by the new generation of Iranians. Jeremiah 49:34-39 is in the process of fulfillment.

21 January 2026: The IAEA is sounding alarm claxons over the nearly 1,000 pounds of Highly Enriched Uranium (HEU) that is unaccounted for because Iran is refusing to allow expert determination of its current status. This HEU is enough for 10 nuclear warheads, or dozens of dirty bomb warheads. 

This is an urgent issue. Why? Because there are 100 former American soldiers who are slowly dying of radiation sickness due to Iran's use of 12 dirty bomb warheads against them at Ain Al-Asad Air Base in January 2020. Thus, it is a FACT that Twelver Iran has already used nuclear WMDs in combat. A dirty little secret almost no one wants to discuss. So the 1,000 pounds of missing HEU in the hands of the terrorist, Shi'a apocalyptic IRGC-Quds Force is a very, very big real world nightmare. Who will deal with it?

FINAL UPDATE 23 January 2026: The hope here is that the US War Department will seriously consider the use of EMP or NNEMP to subdue the Twelver regime and its capability to launch ballistic missiles.
