| The drying up of the Euphrates River |
7 March 2021: This SITREP is another special prophetic note; it is a signpost along the Prophetic Road to Revelation.
While searching various news reports around the world Eschatology Today came across an item posted in the UK which most would consider obscure. It's one of those items not to be seen on American MSM news reports, at least not until another excuse is needed for the Deep State to surge US combat forces back into this region.
The item is from the Syrian Osbservatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The item was titled "SOHR Camera" in accordance with the caption for the several images and short video contained within it. The link is embedded above. The SOHR report cites Turkey's curtailing of water flowing through its dams as the cause of an alraming drop in the level of the Euphrates River. This drop in the level will of course manifest in Iraq as well, and with devastating consequences for both nations populations in the predominantly desert region.
The last time the Euphrates water level dropped so precipitously was in 2014 when Islamic State controlled eastern Syria and shut water flow in dams it held to bring pressure upon the Iraqi government in Baghdad. As we know from recent history, this asymmetrical jihadist war tactic resulted in the influx of U.S. and Coalition military forces into Iraq and Syria and the slow by steady annihilation of the Islamic State's "Caliphate" between 2017-2019 which had at that point controlled all of eastern Syria and most of western Iraq.
This prophetic signpost is one we've seen before. Back in October 2010 the stand-alone post titled "Kings of the East" put just one of the events to occur during the 70th Week of years into focus. Here we are ten years later and the growing military threat posed by Communist China is far more relative. If nothing else it illustrates how such seemingly singular prophetic events don't just take place instantaneously, but occur, as with most other prophetic events, as a process occurring over time. A refresher reading of Kings of the East is encouraged.
In fact, the process of the drying up of the Euphrates River has been ongoing for at least the past decade. In John the Revelator's first century book, The Apocalypse (Revealing) of Jesus Christ, (i.e. The Book of Revelation) one will see it directly referenced on two occasions within the text. These all-inclusive prophecies are also a Divine process in and of themselves.
Seriously consider that the revealing process begins with the Lord Jesus Christ appearing to John while he is in the Spirit on Patmos. John reveals that he had been directed by the Lord to go to Patmas specifically for (to receive) the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, i.e. the prohecy of this book (Revelation 1:9). On the Lord's Day John was in the Spirit when he heard the Lord's voise, as if a trumpet, say "I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. What you see write in a book and send it to the seven churche which are in Asia..." (Revelation 1:11).
Is the sum total of The Apocalypse of Jesus Christ only a prophecy about the future? Can we each read an understand implicitly each of the seven letters to the seven churches? Of course we can. We clearly see that Ephesus is the loveless church, Smyrna is the persecuted church, Pergamos is the compromising church, Thyatira is the corrupt church, Sardis is the dead church, Philadelphia is the faithful church, Laodicea is the lukewarm church. We each know these churches today, have been within them at some point in our lives, or know of them. Therefore, the Apocalypse of Jesus Christ is happening right now and it has been happening in its process for nearly two millennia, that is, since John wrote these words down for everyone on earth to read them.
What is the very next part of this ongoing process? It is the imminent near future. It is the future foretold in Revelation 1:7, where "He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him." This is Revelation 4, the Harpazo of the bride of Christ. Then the scene immediately moves to the throne room of Heaven where the door has been opened; (See Matthew 25:10-11 for the closing of this door).
Following this the Lamb of God takes a scroll from the right hand of Him who sat on the Throne, the scroll written on both sides and begins opening the seven seals that had kept it closed tight.
And the Lamb of God begins opening the seven seals. The first four are known to us as the four horsemen of the apocalypse (revealing) of Jesus Christ. So these have been revealed to us, but they've not yet been manifest on this earth: the antichrist, global war, scarcity of consumable necessities, and widespread death across a quarter of the earth. The fifth seal is opened and the cry of the souls of thlipsis martyrs are heard. And then the sixth seal is opened, and this is the fulfillment of Isaiah 13:13.
Finally, the seventh seal is opened and this provides the seven angels standing before God their trumpets to sound. This begins the trumpet judgments. Now, if one will study the sounding of these trumpets it will occur that they are concurrent with the seal judgments. Understand that there is no time as we know it in Heaven.
The sounding of the sixth trumpet brings us back to the Euphrates River. The sixth trumpet is Revelation 9:13-21 and it is the same as the sixth bowl judgment of Revelation 16:12-16. Again, time is irrelevant in heaven, and don't think on this too hard because it will make the human brain hurt. Just know in faith what God and our Lord Jesus Christ revealed to John on Patmos has been in progress for a long time as we understand it and that our Harpazo is imminent. The things of the spiritual realm have earthly manifestations.
