13 October 2025: At the Knesset in Israel this morning they're celebrating the release of the hostages and speaking very pragmatically about a long-lasting "peace through strength" in the Middle East. Eschatology Today will give the speakers in the Knesset this day as it is clearly a God-given day. It was appropriate that President Trump began his speech by invoking the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
However, even through they may be men of the Judeo-Christan faiths none speak with the authority of Almighty God. As we read in Holy Scripture days such as this one are actually important signposts along The Prophetic Road to Revelation. Despite all the glowing expectations voiced this morning there are unintended consequences directly ahead.
Here it is very important to note that in the Arab and Muslim nations which participated in this "peace process" they are not handing out sweets on the streets. That is most telling as we will soon see.
Also today at the Gaza Peace Deal Signing ceremony in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt post-hostage release there was talk of Gaza reconstruction - but only after the demilitarization of HAMAS and the other jihadists has taken place. Were there Arab Muslim countries volunteering to take the Islamic jihadists weapons away from them? No, there were not. Not Turkey, or Qatar or Egypt or the UAE. So who then completes this task? Does HAMAS disarm itself? Yeah, right. So, what force does? There only capable force is the IDF, meaning all proclamations of peace are just so much hot air and wishful thinking. Neville Chamberlain would be proud, he had worthless signatures on paper too.
To be continued...
If these national leaders want to say "The war is over, Israel won" they certainly can do so, and have done so. But that does not mean they're right.
ReplyDeleteBattles between HAMAS and three anti-HAMAS clan-based militias rage in the Gaza neighborhood of Tel al-Hawa. 27 killed thus far in the battle. The militia groups want to destroy HAMAS and support the 20-point Trump plan.
ReplyDeleteWell there is a development no one saw. There being an anti-Hamas militia is a surprise.

Zoe,
DeleteThere's not one anti-HAMAS militia, but several and they have been around for many years. HAMAS has been holding public executions of their members, even in front of children, for years. More public executions took place today just hours after the last living Israeli hostages were released.
Civil war in Gaza.
At the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit there was yet another pontificate statement made by Trump.
ReplyDeleteCiting the long-standing notion (whose origin is from God-breathed prophetic Scripture!) that a World War would begin in the Middle East Trump said, "That's not gonna happen." He uses this phrase habitually and each time he does he is quite incorrect to do so. Way beyond wishful thinking at this point.
