UPDATED 13 October 2025: At the Knesset in Israel this morning they're celebrating the release of the hostages and speaking very pragmatically about a long-lasting "peace through strength" in the Middle East. Eschatology Today will give the speakers in the Knesset this day as it is clearly a God-given day. It was appropriate that President Trump began his speech by invoking the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
However, even through they may be men of the Judeo-Christan faiths none are speaking with the authority of Almighty God. As we read in Holy Scripture days such as this one are actually important signposts along The Prophetic Road to Revelation. Despite all the glowing expectations voiced this morning there are unintended consequences directly ahead.
Here it is very important to note that in the Arab and Muslim nations which participated in this "peace process" they are not handing out sweets on the streets. That is most telling as we will soon see.
Also today at the Gaza Peace Deal Signing ceremony in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt post-hostage release there was talk of Gaza reconstruction - but only after the demilitarization of HAMAS and the other jihadists has taken place. Were there Arab Muslim countries volunteering to take the Islamic jihadists weapons away from them? No, there were not. Not Turkey, or Qatar or Egypt or the UAE. So who then completes this task? Does HAMAS disarm itself? Yeah, right. So, what force does? The only capable force is the IDF, meaning all proclamations of peace are just so much hot air and wishful thinking. Neville Chamberlain would be proud, he had worthless signatures on paper too.
15 October 2025: The IDF has been directed by Defense Minister Israel Katz to formulate new plans for the total conquest of Gaza and elimination of HAMAS.
The trigger for renewed, full-scale warfare by the IDF is the determination that the terrorists have not released all of the remains of deceased hostages as well as their failure to promptly and completely disarm.
17 October 2025: The current situation is one where HAMAS is providing the rope with which they will hang themselves. These terrorists are wildly flaunting the ceasefire terms they agreed to abide by, even murdering fellow Gazans, continuing attempts to engage the IDF either in firefights or ambushes to effect soldier kidnappings.
The express warnings have been given by Israel and the US. Eschatology Today believes renewed warfare will take us to the condition Ezekiel noted Israel would realize per the opening verses of chapter 38. At that point the prophetic Pslam 83 scenario will be historical fact.

19 October 2025: This morning HAMAS brazenly attacked a mechanized IDF unit in Rafah with anti-tank rockets. A significant IDF land battle resulted from the attack with the Air Force acting in its usual force multiplier role joining the battle with heavy strikes on HAMAS targets in the south and north of Gaza.
THE WAR OF TEKUMAH
The government voted to rename this The War of Tekumah. Tekumah means Resurrection or Rebirth. Eschatology Today thinks the naming change is appropriate as this renewed war stands to fundamentally reshape Israel and its landscape in the coming days as foretold in Scripture, i.e. Israel fully reborn.
UPDATE 20 October 2025: Consistent with the central theme of SITREP B8-25: On the Prophetic Road to Revelation, the critical importance of the War of Tekumah in prophetic last days events requires unambiguous language.
In the vein of past as prologue, the role of the United States President Trump at this time mirrors in an important aspect that of the Persian King Cyrus. Neither Cyrus (His annointed, Isaiah 45:1) nor Trump in our day, knew/know the LORD initmately but did/do acknowlege His existence. Eschatology Today prays for Trump to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior soon, yet his recent history and actions may indicate an "annoiting" pursuant to the Sovereign Will of God.
In Old Testament (OT) times large populations of various peoples were relocated to distant lands. This as the OT makes abundantly clear was within the LORD's will. Trump has repeatedly proposed relocation the Gaza civilians to various nearby Arabic-speaking lands. Coincidental? I think not as God is in control. His Will is in action every day and everywhere.
We know the outcome of the war in Gaza. The ongoing pulverization of its structures into rubble and dust; the eventual dispersement of the populatiom are prophetic certainties. Zephaniah 2 and Amos 1 will come to literal fulfillments. In fact, the entire coastal region of southern Israel and Gaza is prophesied to become grasslands for the grazing flocks of Israel's farmers and ranchers. These God-breathed prophetic words tell us true believers that Trump's vision of Gaza becoming a Middle Eastern version of the French Riviera has a zero chance of becoming realized.

But their day is coming. We don't know the details and timing of the processes, but we know the end, from the beginning. So, for us, we watch, we are aware, we are weary, but we stay alert and remain hopeful, our Redemption draws nigh.

I saw a clip of President Trump being interviewed aboard Air Force 1 yesterday and he said something to the effect that wasn’t sure if he was going to heaven, but he hoped his efforts in bringing peace might help. It sounds like he is still spiritually immature (having been born again not long ago), not understanding that redemption is a free gift, for everyone that believes.
This would be consistent with what I saw Kim Clement prophesying a decade+ ago that he would enter office whispering God’s name and sometime after that (presumably while in office) he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would be shouting his name.
He may well be strongly influenced by Dominionists. They have a very convoluted theology.

DeleteI never read any of the "Left Behind" series books, but I did see a movie adaptation or two which left me scratching my head at the amateurish plotline and low production qualities. I also think the timing was off. Now would be better as the fictional aspects would unnecessary. I also would have liked the Book or Daniel to be a major part of it as messing with Revelation is not a good idea at all.

Unwilling I think because the Egyptian Army has for years ignored the weapons transfer into Gaza and now directly into Israel. They have two brigades stationed from Rafah in the north to Taba (Eilat) in the south. It's interesting that the Sinai MFO has done zip wrt the heavy drone traffic, clearly in violation of the "peace treaty."

Kuwait and Bahrain have also had long-standing American defense guarantees. Adding Saudi Arabia to this defense pact would round it out to the full complement of the prophetic "Sheba and Dedan."

This also goes hand-in-hand with the much referenced enlargement of the Abraham Accords. The addition of a Seven-Year trial period in the near future would make this group look too much like the prophetic "Covenant Among Many" to be coincidental.

DeleteI have heard several other ‘prophecy teachers’ say that the covenant MUST include the promise to rebuild the temple, but I just don’t see it in the Bible, myself.
I definitely see that a temple WILL be built, and the Antichrist will desecrate it at the 3 1/2 yr mark, similar to the actions of Antiochus Epiphanes… but I do not see that the covenant itself must be written in such a way that the rebuilding of the temple is included in the language.
I have read the passages in Daniel and I don’t see it. I have searched for it in other places , and again I do not see it.
I see clearly that there will be a temple during the time of Jacob’s trouble, but I just don’t see that it’s something the Antichrist works into the covenant, or promises the Jews outright. If this is in a different passage of Scripture and I just haven’t seen it..can you please point me to it? Thank you.

At this time (while Vance is in Jerusalem) the Noam Party led by Avi Naoz will introduce the Judea-Samaria sovereignty bill in the Knesset.
What happens next will prove if Bibi was being truthful, i.e. if the sovereignty issue is quashed in the Knesset today, then Israel is under the USA's thumb. If the bill moves forward then Israel is acting with complete sovereignty.
Trump and Netanyahu are each acting in their national interests, with an eye on the Abraham Accords.

Also the Air Force high altitude business jet based ISR fleet is being recalled from Europe and the Indo-Pacific to be tasked with supporting the Trump Administration’s campaign against drug trafficking cartels across Latin America, as well as the Maduro Regime in Venezuela.

DeleteYes, and from Harry Truman forward America has had an ambivalent--ranging from defense to outright hostile--relationship with Israel. Those of us who belive Scripture know the dangers of abandoning, hardening ourselves against, Israel. The current president is trying to play both sides agains the middle, courting the Arabs on one hand while defending Israel (mostly) on the other. It is obvious he doesn't know, nor is he counseled against, the danger of not being Israel's strong defender (in the natural realm). Is he a believer? God knows. Although there are certainly plenty of indicators to the contrary. At the very leasst a lack of understanding the way and nature of salvation. No surprise given those he has surrounded himself with. There are, apparently, genuine evangelical believers in his close administration. How conflicted they must be implementing his policies that go counter to Scripture (assuming they know Scripture). In anty case, as is so often reiterated here, God is in control, His plans and purposes will be done. No man--nor spiritual entity--can thwart that. While I never expected to be here this long into the shadows of Daniel's 70th week, we sure live in amazing times. What an incredible blessing to have been born during this time in human history (1943 for me, so a true fig tree generation). Just think we could have come to belief, as Gentiles, in the God of A-I-J at other times in history, but to be chosen to be a part of the Bride of Christ is the most amazing and humbling thing I know. Since the early nineteen hundreds Israel has slowly gained more and more of their land despite the demands of other more powerful nations. God's will is being done.

ReplyDeleteThis is the Hebrew word (Strong's H225) that has long been translated as 'sign' in the sense of something appearing. It also has the meaning of a signal or a beacon, as in something appearing to be noticed. This is as the LORD God defined it in Genesis 1:14.
In Jesus' Olivet Discourse, Matthew 24 for example, He told the apostles in no uncertain terms the specific signs, signals and beacons that would herald His return, and that we should "watch therefore" for wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and that these would progress in quantity and intensity. He also said there would be signs, signals and beacons in the sun, moon and stars.

It's rather eyepopping to read that King Abdullah II, Hashemite monarch of Jordan, has openly cast doubts upon President Trump's Gaza peace plan during an interview on the BBC's Panorama program.

I also have long cited Ezekiel 39:29 as the greatest indicator on the timing of the conclusion of the current dispensation (the end of the "Church age" (Harpazo) and when God turns His full attention upon Israel).
There's a united assessment within Israel's government organs (PMO, Intel, IDF, Knesset) that HAMAS knows exactly where the remains of Col. Assaf Hamami and Lt. Hadar Goldin are located, but refuses to return them.
ReplyDeleteThere are calls for Israel to arrest again the released terrorists HAMAS placed a high value on in the fiasco peace deal. To add fuel to the fire the remains delivered yesterday were not those of a hostage.
If some might think that HAMAS is "playing" Israel, they should think again. This situation is a uniting force in Israeli society, even the hostage families see through the evil game being played.

ReplyDeleteThe author of the video you noted freely admitted he made changes to the original text of the Revelation (Apocalypse) of Jesus Christ. He even illustrated the changes he made in order to shoehorn the meaning he wanted in this Holiest of Holy texts (from God, to Jesus to John).
Revelation 22:18-19
"For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things,
God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
So, this guy defies the literal Word of God. I reject his rubbish.
