Global SITREP F1-21: Javid Shah

 

27 May 2021: Javid (pronounced Jah-veed) Shah is a Farsi (Persian) language phrase that roughly translates as "Long Live the Shah (King)" It goes hand-in-hand with a similar phrase, Javid Iran, which is the rally cry for Iranian monarchists, who although Shi'a are decidedly in favor of a Constitutional Monarchy returning to power to replace the Twelver Regime of clerics. 

The Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, son of the late and last Iranian Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, is the focus of current cries of "Javid Shah, Javid Iran." This monarchist movement has been gaining steam for a long time in Iran, and, in a most interesting development, it has also spread to a great many of the Shi'a in Lebanon. 

Iranian and Lebanese Shi'a monarchists want Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who currently resides in exile in the U.S. and was educated at Williams College and USC, to become their new Shah. Some may recall last year following the massive Beirut port disasters how a great many Lebanese marched in the streets and called for French President Macron to become the new leader of Lebanon. 

Not any more, now they've sided with their Iranian brethren and want Crown PrinceReza Pahlavi as their leader to replace the corrupt narco-terrorist Hezbollah leadership. Also interesting is that when Reza's father ruled Iran until the revolution in the late 70's Iran was a very pro-Israel country. 

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi is, like his father, also very pro-Israel. He has already been in communications with Israel's government leaders. One can make an educated guess what the two sides discussed, knowing full well Reza's desire for a regime change and a return to a secular monarchy ruling Iran. Such would appeal as a far more viable and less expensive option than a great and destructive war over the all but completed Iranian nuclear weapons program.

It may not even be a stretch of the imagination to envision, in the near future, a more robust effort to overthrow the Twelver Regime in Tehran, a new revolution if you will, with Reza Pahlavi emerging as the new Shah of Iran and maybe even Lebanon. There is a consensus in the US, Israel and even Iran and Lebanon that such an outcome would make for a serious difference in the Middle East.

Don't look too hard, but Jeremiah 49:34-39 might just might hold some strong hints about such thing taking place.

Global SITREP B8-18: Iran

UPDATE 26 June 2018: Early this morning Israel struck Iranian muntions just delivered by Iran to Damascus International Airport. There is some confusion of whether the Israeli missiles came via aircraft or were surface-to-surface missiles. In either case Israel's anti-Iran doctrine remains in full effect.

Also, the general revolt by the people against the Ayatollah's regime is once again at a nationwide fever pitch. The Jeremiah 49:34-39 prophecy continues in its process of fulfillment.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has, since President Trump pulled the US out of the JCPOA fiasco, begun to face extreme economic crisis that become more acute each passing day. Recent reports had put the exchange rate between the Rial and the U.S. Dollar at 42,000 to 1. New projections from within Iran say the exchange rate will increase to 60,000-65,000 Rials to 1 U.S. Dollar. Contrast this to the exchange rate at the time of the Iranian Shi'a Revolution in 1979 when the exhange rate was 7 Rials to  Dollar. This is the engine driving the revolt against the mullahs regime. 

In Tehran tens of thousands are marching in protest, and across the country the same is seen in major cities and smaller towns, villages. Instead of the regime's favorite protest mantra of "Death to America; Death to Israel," these protestors are chanting "Death to Palestine," "Help us, not Gaza," and "Our enemy is right here, they lie and say it is America." Therein is the rub, because the $billions Iran recieved as a bribe for agreeing to the JCPOA went straight to the IRGC-QF to fund its foreign wars in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Gaza as well as its global terrorist activities. 

What happens when the cash dies up? What happens when the regime can no longer fund the IRGC-QF which funds HAMAS and Hezbollah? The regime will fail its purpose, Iran itself will become another islamic failed state, and the Tehran street protestors chant of "Death to Palestine" will become a reality. Consider that projection in light of Bible prophecy. What becomes of HAMAS in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon when the Islamic Republic of Iran goes into total economic meltdown. What happens to Bashar al-Assad in Syria when Iran can no longer pay his army and his very expensive bills? Pretty obvious, no?

And despite all of this the regime's military leadership, truly grasping at fear-mongering straws, has recently gone public with a claim that Saudi Arabia was planning to invade Iran; that this Saudi invasion would be met in its first minute by 1,000 missiles being launched destroy the Saudi royal palaces in Riyadh. Any authortarian regime which issues such a "wag the dog" claim as this is actually staggering about on very weak legs. And yet, there's Jeremiah 49:34 telling us straight away that those Iranian missiles will never fly in a conflict.

19 June 2018: About 48 hours ago Israel sent the strongest possible message to Iran and Russia when IAF strike aircraft struck and devastated an Iraqi Shi'a militia convoy that had just crossed into Syria from Iraq at Al-Qaim. The specific location is seen in the map below on the western bank of the Euphrates River, near the town "Albu Kamal" (directly below the word "IRAQ.")

Military situation in Syria, June 2018

The Israeli airstrike on the Kata'ib Hezbollah militia, under the direct command of IRGC-QF General Qassem Soleimani, was originally attributed to the U.S.-led CJTF-OIR. Casualties are reportedly well beyond the numbers currently reported in corporate media.

The seriousness of this strike lies in the fact that the IAF flew a minimum 1,200 miles round trip to take out the Iranian-led militia convoy. Kata'ib Hezbollah has previously vowed to attack both U.S. and Israeli forces. Israel has now repeatedly struck Iranian military in Syria multiple times over several months without a serious response.

5 June 2018: Virtually all talk and attention in recent days is about U.S. President Donald Trump's scheduled summit meeting with North Korean (DPRK) dictator Kim Jong Un in Singapore six days from today. The meeting will focus on the de-nuclearization of North Korea or it will be over before it begins. So far so good according to everything coming from the White House.

However, the really important issue above and beyond North Korean de-nuclearization is the de-nuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Remember, both the USA and Israel have declared nuclear policies that Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them. Remember also what occurred as President Trump first meet with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping - American cruise missiles were striking targets in Bashar al-Assad's Syria due to his regime's use of WMD against his civilian population. This is important for us to remember. It certainly made an impression upon Xi Jinping.

The threat of American military action against North Korean nuclear sites is still an option should the US-DPRK summit go south. Now imagine the effect on Kim Jong Un should the US and our allies launch preemptive strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure either just prior to or during the summit. The precident has been set, so it's not out of the question. The message remains the same, and that is de-nuclearization, or else. 

This is not to say this is what will happen, but there is a very strong possibility it could happen now that Iran has announced its intent to the IAEA of the United Nations to begin anew enrichment of uranium hexaflouride to levels suitable for weapons grade fuel. Remember President Trump's warning to Iran of one month ago of there being "very severe consequence" should their nuclear program processes be restarted. The American president was explicit in his warning to the mullahs: "You can mark it down. If they restart their nuclear program they will have bigger problems than they've ever had before." These are not idle words. If they were hard currency you could take them to the bank.

Iran already has very significant problems with Israel in Syria. Iran also has very significant problems in Iraq with that nation pulling itself out from under regional Iranian hegemony. Ditto for Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, as well as Yemen where the Houthi's that Iran has supported are decidedly on the losing end of that war. And then there are the very significant problems that face the Iranian clerical regime within Iran itself. If real news were to come out of Iran it would show how the revolution against the regime is very much alive and rapidly gaining in strength and even expanding. Three weeks ago the southern city of Kazeroun looked very much like  a counterpart in Syria - a war zone in other words. The revolution in Iran is also nationwide.

If one were to take stock of all these things one would realize that they very much resemble what Jeremiah 49:34-39 has foretold. The clerical regime in Iran is being confronted by external military enemies; by extremely harsh economic sanctions, and internally by its own people all at the same time. This is a trifecta recipe of disaster for the Iranian regime. One would have to be Spiritually blind not to see what is coming; what has been foretold is now plain as day. 

Update 10 June 2018: The two fearsome-looking weapons seen above have been in the news since March of this year when they were declared combat ready in OSINT reporting. This is an Indication and Warning (I&W). It could also be an After Action Report (AAR). 

The weapon is known as the Rafael SPICE 1000. SPICE is shorthand for Smart, Precise Impact, Cost Effective. The SPICE 1000 is a satellite and/or electro-optically guided stand-off weapon that will be, or has already been, carried on Israel's newly acquired F-35I Adir strike aircaft. SPICE 1000 is also carried externally on the F-15I Ra'am and F-16I Barak/Sufa (image above) strike aircraft of the IAF. 

Carried and deployed from within the internal weapons bay of the F-35I Adir the enemy targets belonging to Iran or Syria would never know what had hit and destroyed them. Such has been the case in Syria recently when unknown aircraft and weapons created havoc in northern and central Syria primarily against Iranian targets. 

Hence, the strong potential for this SITREP update being an AAR instead of an I&W report. And yes, the enemy never saw this package of 1,000 lbs of boom coming.  Not only is the F-35I a stealth aircraft, but it could easily have flown its strike mission against Iranian targets in Syria from a position in the Eastern Mediterranean off the Lebanese or Cypriot coastlines. Surprise! 

Global SITREP A2-18: The Revolution in Persia (Iran)

Update 27 January 2018: The Hojjatieh Shi'a clerics running the Islamic Republic of Iran are under ever increasing pressure from virtually every direction on the compass - which is akin to the prophetic point made in Jeremiah 49:36. Let us take stock of these winds blowing against Iran.

While the protests in Iran appear to have been fully repressed by the regime,  don't think for a moment they are over. They continue simmering just below the surface because the iranian people know that Iran has been caught red-handed in gross human rights abuses during the uprising. They are biding their time now because help is coming from outside the country.

The United Nations is applying pressure in the form of a report which Iran cannot deny in the face of hard facts and military hardware. The UN report proves beyond question that Iran broke UN arms embargo by supplying ballistic missiles to the Houthi rebels in Yemen. This report will likely lead to an increase in sanctions against the regime. Additionally, virtually all countries are in agreement that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps is a terrorist organization. Sanctions against the IRGC's commercial assets will also economically choke Iran.

In Israel, US Vice President Pence speaking in a special session the Israel Knesset made clear that the disaster of the Iran nuclear agreement will no longer be a can kicked down the road by the Trump Administration - certification of iranian compliance by the US President is at and end, as is the agreement itself. The US and EU will jointly decertify the agreement due to Iran's continuing ballistic missile development which is an undeniable facet of the agreement. VP Pence also certified that Iran will not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. This is a very strong hint in the direction of probable military action.

The Iranian mullah's regime is not known to make concessions against issues such as these, yet according to the US Navy the IRGC-crewed fast boats that routinely swarm ours and coalition ships in the gulf and through the Strait of Hormuz have suddenly and completely halted any aggressive actions like these have been in recent months and weeks. Shot were fired in these standoffs recently, and now the Ayatollah has blinked. 

But before he blinked, the Ayatollah also saw a determined US and Israeli program to stop and reverse Iranian expansion in Syria. He saw the very real potential for the military isolation of Hezbollah in Lebanon and a united front of Sunni Arabs in a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE blocking his expansion in Yemen. Indeed, the Saudi-led coalition has turned the tide against the Houthi's in Yemen and are advancing against all remaining enemy strongholds. Iranian military expansion has been checked and will soon see its fortunes reversed just as Jeremiah prophesied long ago.

IRGC/Qods Force General Qassem Soleimani

2 January 2018: The Iranian armed revolution gathers strength. The hated Basij, the regime's paid street thugs controlled by the IRGC, have been repeatedly attacked and their bases have come under assault by force of arms in cities all over the country. Additionally, Twelver clerics of the Iranian theocracy are also being targeted. 

This is true also for the man seen in the image above. He is one whose name has appeared on the pages of this blog with increasing frequency in the past couple of years: IRGC/QF General Qassem Soleimani. General Soleimani has long been held up by the Ayatollah's regime as one whose foreign aggression and terror are to be idolized. In stark contrast to this the people of Iran have taken every opportunity to tear down and burn in effigy any likeness of the man found in cities all across the Islamic Republic. He is not seen as anything close to a hero of the Islamic Republic, but as a very public personage representing the murderous clerics in Tehran and Qom as their foreign-based executioner of innocents. 

Beyond this, there are a growing number of reports, the very first originating with the Kuwaiti daily Al-Jarida, which speak of a "green light" being given by the United States to Israel's clandestine forces for the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani. The Israeli's wanted to execute such a plan three years ago, but the Obama Administration betrayed that plan to the Iranians as part of the nuclear agreement. Soleimani's hands are covered with the blood of Iraqi, Kurdish, Lebanese and Syrian civilians, but it was IRGC/QF forces under his command which have the blood and the maiming of hundreds of American soldiers who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with Iranian-made EFPs. 

Soleimani's most egregious assault occurred on 20 January 2007 at a Karbala, Iraq security compound. Soleimani's IRGC/QF disguised as US soldiers, brazenly abducted and then murdered in cold blood five American soldiers. The modus operandi of this attack was near identical to the abduction of IDF soldiers in northern Israel which precipitated the Hezbollah War of 2006. A captured Shi'a militant and Lebanese Hezbollah operative both subsequently confirmed in mid-2007 that the IRGC/QF planned and executed operation, and U.S. intelligence also learned that Iran's senior leadership - all the way up to Ayatollah Khamenei - was aware and approved of the IRGC/QF activities in Iraq. The Iranian Twelver regime has a terrible debt that has come due.

Anti-Regime Armed Revolt in Iran

1 January 2018: There's no other way to describe what is occurring in Iran other than to call it a revolution in the making; a revolution that is now 5-days old. One can get a good sense of what has occurred thus far and going forward by visiting the NCRI website. 

The US and Israel pact to destabilize and the regime and thwart its nuclear and missile delivery systems was agreed upon on December 12, 2017. The first protests began two weeks later, on December 28, 2017. It would seem that the Iranian people were looking for a sign from the West that unlike during the 2009 protests they would not be abandoned by the West this time. The US-Israel accord has apparently assured them that that is the case this time, and not in any manner to interfere with the Iranian people's revolution, but to support them as required.

If you listen to the son of the late Shah of Iran, the now 56-year old Prince Reza Pahlavi who is exiled in Dubai, UAE, many of the youth inside and outside of Iran today detest the Shi'a Twelver Hojjatieh regime. Whereas previously anyone in Iran speaking against the Supreme Leader would face the death penalty, this time shouts of "Death to Khamenei" and "Death to the Regime" are occurring all over the country. 

And according to Reza Pahlavi today's youth in Iran look to the past, and possess a very high regard for historical figures of Iran's past. Most prominent among them is King Cyrus the Great. Demonstrations in Iran at the tomb of Cyrus the Great make such claims resonate with their veracity. Iran's youth do not long for a new king, but for beneficent national government that respects the rights of the people and a representative parliamentary democracy to guarantee those rights.

Readers of Eschatology Today are well aware of the Jeremiah 49:34-39 prophecy which specifically concerns Iran. It occurs to me we should be equally aware of the prophecies of Isaiah that were given him a century and a half before Cyrus the Great was born. Isaiah 41:2; 41:25; 44:28 and, most importantly, Isaiah 45:1-4 where God calls the king by name. And then there's the link between Cyrus the Great and Daniel in Daniel 10 and his vision, and the interpretation of which is continued in Daniel 11 continuing to our present day and into the future of the 70th Week. A well-rounded Biblical perspective indeed.

Often the question has appeared of why Iran is not directly mentioned in the prophecies concerning Syria, Lebanon and Psalm 83/Isaiah 11 or Ezekiel 28. Could it be that Iran is omitted from mention because it has no role due to an ongoing preoccupation with revolution on its own soil? We'll soon find out because for this revolution in Iran to occur at this point in history is not accidental occurrence; God is in complete and total control. His will being done.
