INFORMATIONAL: TEMPLE MOUNT TRUTH

Temple Mount Truth

24 February 2025: We know from Scripture, fulfilled and prophetic, the absolute truth about "the Rock" at the top of Mount Moriah, a/k/a Mount Zion (Isaiah 4:5), in Jerusalem, Israel. We should also know from Genesis 22:2 that the LORD God told Abraham to take his only begotten son Isaac to the land of Moriah, Moriyah meaning "Chosen by Yah," to offer him there as a burnt offering on one of its mountains. Isaac's sacrifice was aborted by God and a ram was substituted instead.

A thousand years later God led Solomon to the tabernacle of meeting in Gibeon, the same tabernacle which Moses had prepared in the wilderness. Solomon brought with him thousands of all Israel as well as the "ark of God" which he brought with him from its tent in Jerusalem. It was here that very night when God appeared before Solomon and asked what he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge, and God gave him both plus riches, wealth and honor such as no king had possessed before or since. Solomon returned to Jerusalem and commenced to build the temple for the name of the Lord which the Lord had led him to do. Solomon's Temple stood over the rock until the armies of Babylon destroyed it in 586 BC and took Israel into captivity for 70 years because of their sins. In 516 BC the second temple was build and then expanded upon by Herod in 12 BC. This temple was destroyed in 70 AD. As prophesied by the Lord Jesus Christ in His Olivet Discourse not one stone was left standing upon another.

Fast forward to 692 AD and the Muslims built the Dome of the Rock over the same rock that Abraham was to offer Isaac as a sacrifice, as well as being the location within the Temple's known as the Holy of Holies. As stated initially here, we know this from God-breathed Scripture.

This brings us to the Supreme Moslem Council produced pamphlet, "A Brief Guide to Al-Haram Al-Sharif," (best transliterated as The August Sanctuary) a copy of which I have and whose cover is seen above as it appeared in its first printing dated one-hundred years ago in 1924 AD. This pamphlet is essentially a very detailed Muslim tourism guide for the approximately 36 square acres of the Temple Mount area on Mount Moriah (i.e. Chosen by Yah). It was remarkably approved for publication by Haj Amin al-Husseini, a virulent anti-Zionist imam, a leader of the Arab riots in 1921 who massacred Jews and Muslims alike and was a close ally of Adolf Hitler during WWII. In him we see our present-day HAMAS, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Nevertheless, his approval for the publication of this pamphlet was essential. Its text states the following concerning the entire Temple Mount: (emphasis added)

"The site is one of the oldest in the world. Its sanctity dates from the earliest (perhaps pre-historic) times. It's identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which 'David built there an altar unto the Lord and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.' 2 Samuel XXIV, 25" (2 Samuel 24:25)

So much for the espoused "Palestinian" claims of nearly a century to the Temple Mount and Islamic edifices standing upon it.

Global SITREP B4-20: Eye on Temple Mount

Temple Mount Someday Soon
14 April 2020: Eschatology Today's interest in what's current with the process (yes, it is an ongoing process) to rebuild the Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah was reignited anew yesterday when the news report about the Sanhedrin having to cancel a planned ritual sacrifice for this Passover due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That the Sanhredrin were going to undertake such a proscribed ritual speaks volumes on where the Orthodox Jews are regarding re-establishing the Temple and its services.

However, to begin with let's first engage in a preemptive in dispelling any notion that there won't be a Temple standing on Mount Moriah. The proof is found in the angel Gabriel's 70 Weeks prophecy. Daniel 9:27a specifically states: "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering." There's only one location where sacrifice and offering to the Lord take place in Judaism - the Temple.

From June 1967 to the present since there is no Temple standing on Mount Moriah, Jews have gone to the Western Wall as that is as close as Israeli law will allow them to Judaism's holist site. In a sign of the times (due to fears of SARS-COV-2 infection) those Jews who routinely go to the Western Wall have been instructed by chief rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz to refrain from kissing it in a show of reverence to the God of Israel. All but a very few of the most devout in Jewish ultra-Orthdoxy have followed the instruction, yet even they have been seen to practice social distancing from fellow worshippers.

The battle to rebuild the Temple (Beit Hamikdash) is caught up in the same political battle that plagues American politics, the battle between traditional conservatives and their values and the "deep state" and its uber-liberal and globalist secularism. In recent comments Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu confirmed this struggle. Despite this, The Temple Institute's director, Rabbi Chaim Richman, has declared the only thing standing in the way of rebuilding the Temple is the desire of Israel's people to do it.

It's kind of interesting to note the Jewish question, "Which comes first, Mashiach or Beit Hamikdash?" The Bible, both OT and NT, tells us unequivocally that the both the first and second Temples were standing before Jesus Messiah came. Nevertheless, Orthodox Judaism believes that building the Temple preceeds the arrival of the man who they currently believe will be their Mashiach. There isn't - or should not be - a single born-again Christian who does not understand that the Mashiach the Orthodox Jews are expecting is one and the same man as the angel Gabriel spoke of in Daniel 9:27a - the Anti-Christ of Revelation 13.

So, where do things stand today? All of the physical implements necessary for Temple worship, plus a trained cadre of the Temple priesthood, have been exactingly re-created awaiting only for the Temple to rise up on Mount Moriah. The Temple Institute has even practiced the Numbers 19 mitzvah burning of a red heifer on the Mount of Olives to obtain its ashes for ritual purification. It wasn't a real red heifer, but a stand-in to perfect the procedure. Even the types of wood necessary (pine, oak and fig tree) were meticulously researched. This practice session was done a little over 7 months ago away from prying eyes of the public and media. The ritual burning of the real red heifer may also be done in such secrecy.

All of this evidences there's no doubt that the time is near.

Global SITREP D2-15: The Surest Sign of the End of the Age - PART II

Here as PART II of SITREP C-9-15 The Surest Sign of the End of the Age is the just published video presentation produced by The Temple Institute.

Tisha b'Av: The Third Temple Plans Have Begun

Published on Jul 26, 2015
This is a walk-through the main sanctuary of the Holy Temple, showcasing decades of research and tens of innovative Halachic solutions to various perplexing issues that were resolved to create fully functional, ready-to-use plans. As the visual tour sweeps through the sanctuary, one can see the menorah, incense altar and showbread table, all of which have already been prepared by the Institute, among 70 other sacred vessels. The presentation was specially released to coincide with the Ninth of Av, the Jewish national day of mourning which commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples.
This is not a ‘virtual’ representation, but a portion of a complete and highly detailed architectural plan which has been prepared for the immediate construction of the Holy Temple. The plan includes all of components that will be used in building: marble, stone, concrete, wood, flooring materials, overlay of gold, etc.

The external view presents the openings, windows, chambers, the outer hall, the Sanctuary and the Holy of Holies.

In the first stage we are moving through the hall’s entrance. As we continue we arrive at the golden chains described in Tractate Middot, which the young priests-in-training would climb in order to view the decorative crowns that were placed in unique windows above the entrance to the Sanctuary. The visit continues on to the 38 chambers that surrounded the Sanctuary. The door opens and we find ourselves within the first chamber. We turn left and enter into the Sanctuary. From the right we see the three major vessels of the Sanctuary: The golden altar, the table of the showbread, and the menorah. We also see the curtain with its depiction of the two cherubim.

This curtain is actually a double curtain, that separates between the Holy area (the Sanctuary), and the Holy of Holies. We look up to the ceiling of the Sanctuary, which reaches a height of 40 amot. Near the ceiling are the ‘narrowing windows’ (Kings I 6:4) which direct from the Temple outwards.

Turning behind us, we see the doors of the Sanctuary towards the east, as they are opened each morning by the priests, revealing the blue skies of Jerusalem at sunrise.

From the Sanctuary, we turn back to the chambers and go out to the long passageway known as the ‘mesiba.’ We ascend stairs that lead to the roof of the chambers. We continue moving, encircling the Temple from the north and west, afterwards turning east.

At the end of the passageway stands a special ladder that is used to ascend to the upper level. This level has a very high level of sanctity. One opinion maintains that it is only entered once in seventy years (for maintenance purposes).

In summary, this is a highly-detailed building plan which includes room for further innovation by professionals and craftsmen, including decoration, heating and electric etc. According to the decisions of the steering committee that will be established to oversee the construction of the Third Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

The video comes one year after the Temple Institute appealed to its supporters to take part in an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign that raised over $100,000 for the architectural plans. The video was first released to supporters of a current campaign to raise the first kosher Red Heifer in Israel in over 2,000 years. Over the past five years, the organization has released its most ambitious campaigns and poignant videos to reframe the mourning period into one of active preparation for the Third Holy Temple.

Rabbi Chaim Richman, International Director of The Temple Institute noted: “One third of all Torah commandments pertain to the building of and service in the Holy Temple. Today, we not only mourn the destruction of the two Holy Temples, but also our inability to fulfill one third of the Torah. Over the last three decades, the Temple Institute has done everything in our power to research and prepare for the Third Temple. As world Jewry sits on the ground mourning the first two Temples, we have taken a huge leap towards the rebuilding, by releasing a 3D architectural rendition of the Third Temple”

The Temple Institute is the center of research and preparation for the Holy Temple. In addition to educational activity focused on the centrality of the Temple Mount and Holy Temple, the Institute have also recreated over 70 sacred vessels for use in the Third Holy Temple, which can be seen at their Visitors Center in the Old City of Jerusalem.Holy Temple, which can be begun immediately.

When Will The Third Temple Be Built?

04 December 2009: The Third Temple is coming to Jerusalem. However I have my doubts whether its construction will have anything to do with the reports being circulated regarding a long deceased rabbi by the name of Vilna Gaon or the alleged imminent destruction of the newly reconstrcuted Hurva (Ruins) Synagogue in Jerusalem.

We all know that the Third Temple will be where the Jews reinstate the daily worship and daily sacrifice which the Antichrist will put a stop to. It will be within the Temple, in that part known as the Holy Place, where an image that will be made to speak will be stood up.

These things have occured in the past as a template for the future, during the reign of the prototype antichrist, Seleucid King Antiochus IV Epiphanes. This event is the Abomination of Desolation.

Our Lord and Savior told us so:
Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place...
Matthew 24:15a

The precise location inside the Temple that Jesus is referencing from Daniel can be seen in the image below. (From Chuck Missler's KHouse website)

I also believe that God's Word tells us when the Third Temple will be built during these last days. This is yet another specific template of a future prophetic event found in the Old Testament. The timing reference is related to the timing and conditions that were required for the building of Solomon's Temple on the Lord's specific instructions:

1 Kings 5:1-5, verses 3 and 4 especially.

1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, because he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram had always loved David.
2 Then Solomon sent to Hiram, saying:
3 You know how my father David could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side, until the LORD put his foes under the soles of his feet.
4 But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side; there is neither adversary nor evil occurrence.
5 And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to my father David, saying, “Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”
After the enemies are defeated and wars on Israel's every side are won, then we'll see the condition set for the rebuilding of this prophetically important structure. After Isaiah 17, Psalm 83 are fulfilled I do expect the Temple to be constructed very quickly thereafter.

It will be through the reinstatement of Hebrew Temple worship in the Temple in Jerusalem that God will pour out His Spirit on all Israel in fulfillment of Romans 11 and a host of other Bible prophecies. And the scales will be removed from their eyes and they will look upon Him whom they pierced.

And the Bride is in Heaven with Messiah.

School to Prepare for the Rebuilt Temple

Preparing for Service in the Rebuilt Temple

(IsraelNN.com) Jews in the town of Mitzpe Yericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, by preparing descendents of Cohanim (priests) and Levites for service. At the Mitzpe Yericho school, Temple priest hopefuls learn exactly how to conduct the daily Temple service and offer the required sacrifices.

Panels Institute Survey: 64% Percent of All Israel Want the Temple to be Rebuilt

Survey: 64% want Temple rebuilt
Almost two thirds of Israelis, including half of seculars would like to see Temple rebuilt, believe it is important to commemorate Tisha B'Av

31 July 2009: YNet reported in yesterdays edition that a survey conducted by the Panel Institute for Ynet and the Gesher organization reveals that almost two-thirds of all Israel want to see the rebuilding of the Temple on the mount in Jerusalem. Incredibly, the survey also revealed that 47% of secular Israeli's also want the Temple rebuilt. What this survey should reveal to believing Christians is that the Jewish people who will actually do the rebuilding are desirous of beginning the project.

As all prophecy students of the Holy Bible know, there is no doubt, no question whatsoever, that the Temple will be rebuilt. It will happen, al-Aqsa mosque or no al-Aqsa mosque. The prophetic Word of God clearly declares that the Temple will be standing in the 'last days.' Period. Hopefully the commencement of the rebuilding of the Temple will serve a significant "wake up call" for the world's secular and skeptics. This is also a magnificent witnessing tool for all believing Christians.

Pay a visit to the Temple Institute to learn more.
