Global SITREP B5-16: It's Worse Than You Think

1 April 2016: Although I delayed posting this SITREP until this morning, this is not intended as anything like an 'April Fools' joke, even though some in Washington and elsewhere in the country might think we're all fools. Who knows, perhaps in light of Bible prophecy it could be said that we are literal pawns fully engaged in a fools errand given the entire gamut of recent events as the secular world lurches uncontrollably and a great speed down the road to Revelation.

Not quite one year ago Global SITREP C5-15 was posted (a good re-read folks), and it dealt with the same subject as this one - North Korea's incessant arming of itself with doomsday nuclear weaponry and the means of delivery of those weapons to targets from 'sea to shining sea.'  Not bad for a so-called pariah nation which is now telling its people (who have long been just shy of starvation) to prepare themselves for famine.  As if they need a hint about what is coming.

The image above I am informed is from October 2015. Consider this in light of what was posted in May 2015 in the aforementioned SITREP C5-15. There's no doubt that the photo intelligence analysts who studied this image came to their concluding assessment months ago: North Korea has a brand new long-range ICBM to go along with their also new KN-08 road-mobile ICBM and their KN-11 submarine-launched ICBM, upon which they can sit their newly tested, fully miniaturized thermonuclear warhead. 

These nuclear weapons delivery systems appear to be based upon existing Russian and Chinese rocket designs as well as AQ Khan designs and technology transfers. The big word for this kind of activity is proliferation of nuclear weapons technology. Obviously it is rampant.

As with the previous SITREP, this one also rides on the reporting provided by Bill Gertz as published yesterday by the Washington Free Beacon: "Pentagon Confirms New North Korean ICBM."  To that report I will add what the cited analyst does not say about North Korea's nuclear capability. While the KN-14 launched from a northern corner of North Korea could strike Chicago, a further development of this ICBM is not really necessary as the submarine-launched KN-11 when fired from a mid-Pacific Ocean location north of Hawai'i would have Washington, DC or new York City well with its targeting envelope. Additionally, any nation capable of putting a payload into orbit around the earth is capable of hitting any target on earth with a nuke, including a high-altitude EMP burst nuclear weapon.

As I have often made known, a North Korean nuke is an Iranian nuke, so what ever threat we now face from North Korean nuclear weapons, we also very probably face from Iran. In this Jeremiah 49:34 can not come to fulfillment soon enough in my estimation. The sooner the better. All of this development by North Korea (and Iran) has come during the Obama Administration. 

It can be said with great assurance that Obama's policies with respect to both of these countries, as well as their technological benefactors, has accelerated their nuclear weapons programs. Yes, Barack Hussein Obama built this, and we gave him the license to do it. Twice. Moreover, the feckless Obama Administration has now provided them with virtually unlimited cash cow funding as a direct result of the idiotic nuclear accord Obama and Kerry handed to Iran on a silver platter with flourishes. Think anyone on this planet can walk this genie back into its bottle? Think again. And our elected Congress sits on its collective thumb, while those who would replace Obama have reduced what used to be relatively honorable election campaigning to a puerile school-yard fracas.

Global SITREP B5-13: Obama White House Openly Hostile to Israel

Update 4 February 2013:  With respect to the section below posted on 8 November 2013, in particular the portion highlighted in bold red lettering, back-channels chatter is that Newsweek is about to report that the medium range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) Saudi Arabia acquired from China were acquired with the assistance of the American CIA technical staff.  The missiles are reportedly the Chinese-made DF-21 "East Wind", also known by their NATO designation CSS-5. The DF-21 "East Wind" missiles will carry a single 600kg (1,323 lb) warhead to a target no further than 2,150km (1,336 miles) away.

13 November 2013: The P5+1 negotiations with Iran regarding its all but completed nuclear weapons program has obviously devolved into a personal confrontation between President Barack Hussein Obama (and his 'Night Stalker confidant extraordinaire Valerie Jarrett), SECSTATE John Kerry and the editorial staff of the New York Times (serving as the official regime propaganda organ of the Obama Administration) and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Almost no one I know buys into anything coming from the mouths of the aforementioned American individuals because their credibility has been fully compromised as lacking any basis in reality. The New York Times editorials regarding PM Netanyahu are merely a reflection of the Administrations sojourn into diplomatic Lalaland and are to be dismissed by balling that rag up and tossing into the nearest roundfile or trash receptacle. Hopefully, the French government feels the same way.

At this point it does appear that the fate of the P5+1 negotiations with Iran now rest primarily with France's Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius who remains insistent that the Iranian Arak plutonium reactor must never become operational and that Iran must relinquish all of its current uranium stocks enriched to 20% U-235.

Iran must accept these two non-negotiable conditions or there will be no nuclear accord between the P5+1 and Iran. An Iranian refusal guarantees a military solution will resolve the current nuclear negotiations impasse.

It also cannot go unmentioned in this update that the current situation very closely resembles what was occurring during June and July 2008, and that was the last time Israel had made a specific threat to destroy the Iranian nuclear weapons infrastructure. A full-scale dress rehearsal composed of over over 100 IAF strike and and support aircraft occurred during this period. This scared the Iranian regime in a big way, and it continues to scare them to this day.

In fact, the prospect terrorizes them to no end because it preempts the driving focus of their eschatologically-based heart's desire: the ability to be the al-Mahdi hastening creators of an apocalyptic situation in the Middle East. They will do or say anything to stave off a preemptive strike. They are never to be trusted; no agreement is worth the paper or electronic medium to which it is embedded. 

8 November 2013: It used to be called "Shuttle Diplomacy" when US SECSTATE Henry Kissinger bounced between Israel and enemy states, such as Syria and Egypt, in order to stave off a potential superpower nuclear conflict as a direct repercussion of Israel's decisive and overwhelming military victory of the Yom Kippur War.

Backgrounder: Israel's "exceedingly great army," arisen from Ezekiel's prophetic dry bones, stood all but unopposed before both Damascus and Cairo. This battlefield reality was on the verge of prompting military intervention by the former Soviet Union, which in turn prompted U.S. President Nixon to respond in reciprocal escalation. American and Soviet warships circled each other formations in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea as each nations elite ground combat paratroopers prepared to jump into the war. Each nations finger was on the nuclear button. Both superpowers stood toe-to-toe threatening war against each other. The fulfillment of Ezekiel 38/39 appeared to be that close. But appearances are deceiving and hindsight is 20/20.

Forty years later and a similar type of "shuttle diplomacy" can only be referred to as a 'Theater of the Absurd" with pompous and unqualified SECSTATE John Kerry running errands for his arrogant and unqualified bosses in the White House. No longer is America defending Israel with its lifeblood and treasure from existential enemies seeking her annihilation, now this new "fundamentally changed" USA that Americans elected into office twice threatens Israel with a Sunni Islamic insurrection and nuclear war with Shi'a Islam. The signed document SECSTATE Kerry now departs from Geneva with makes him the modern day equivalent of Neville Chamberlain.

Forty years later the previously unthinkable now occurs in my own red, white and blue bleeding heart where I am begging for Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to tell US SECSTATE John Kerry to take a flying leap in to the deepest part of the Mediterranean Sea; to tell the world that all Israel knows its security rests only in the hand of the God of their forefathers. and that they still have millions in America who bless and keep them in our prayers.

Most importantly, should PM Netanyahu not order a strike upon Iran at this time, then it is but a matter of a few days before Saudi Arabia will obtain the several nuclear warheads that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan built and has held in storage for them. Saudi Arabia already has the Chinese-made intermediate range missiles upon which these warheads will be placed. The countdown clock is ticking a little bit faster this morning.

06 November 2013: As if we actually needed confirmation of the original report below. Nevertheless, SECSTATE John Kerry provides that confirmation by saying that the Obama Administration "Considers now, and always has considered" that the Jewish (settlements) presence in Judea and Samaria are "illegitimate."   Let me get this straight, according to our current far left pro-Islamist Obama Administration the Jewish presence in the land that is named after them is and always has been "illegitimate" for the past 65 years?  Send the planes Benjamin. Kick the tires, light the fires and send the planes!

04 November 2013: It is now intolerably apparent, as briefly mentioned in yesterday's comments within SITREP B4-13, that the pro-Islamist Obama White House has now revealed it's blatant and open  hostility towards the State of Israel. No real surprise here, but it is something that must now be addressed and responded to just as openly. Genesis 12:3 demands it!

The response is an imperative upon all those who have been born-again into the Bride of Christ and MUST be manifest at American polling places across the nation tomorrow. DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICAN OR INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR A STATE OR FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE OFFICE WHOSE EXPRESSED POSITION ON THE STATE OF ISRAEL YOU FIND TO BE AT ALL QUESTIONABLE.

The Obama Administration, with bipartisan legislative support and other institutional allies, is moving forward with their plan to force the State of Israel to divide the land which God has given them. They plan to force the division of Jerusalem. We all know well the costs to be borne by those who attempt such a division of Israel. This is not a future event, it is here, in our faces, right here, right now and we must act against it.

Moreover, the Obama Administration will not support the sovereign State of Israel's actions in the defense of its own existential well-being against Islamist enemies who seek Israel's annihilation from the face of this Earth. 

Furthermore, in multiple instances this year, the most recent occurring just last week, the Obama Administration has betrayed our long-time ally Israel, and is actively attempting to instigate regional war against Israel, a war in which they believe Israel would be destroyed.  In sum, the Obama Administration is openly in league with the modern-day Islamist enemies noted by the prophetic psalmist Asaph in Psalm 83.

They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,

The choice is clear America, and what you do tomorrow is truly of critical importance in these Last Days.

Global SITREP A15-13: Obama Administration Will Hollow Out the US Army by 12 Combat Brigades

26 June 2013: Between FY 2014-2017 the Obama Administration has determined to hollow out the combat capability of the US Army by 12 combat brigades. These are front-line combat brigades, our top-line, cream of the crop, boots-on-the-ground combat power. The number of combat troops these cuts will eliminate is somewhere between 42,000 and 60,000.

In terms of the United States Army before the Force XXI transformation began a decade ago, this number of troops would equal, at most, 6 heavy combat divisions.

Over three years this is an unprecedented slash in American combat power at a time when the economy is probably not robust enough to employ all of these men and some of the women in civilian jobs. Recall also that America's combat veterans, and America's military veterans in general, were labeled not so long ago by the Obama Administration's apparatchik toadies and lackeys as being the greatest threat faced by America. Yes, we were placed on the Obama's Administration's "enemies list." Apparently they want to increase the number of domestic enemies by the tens of thousands.

The twelve combat units to be eliminated are:

4th Combat Infantry Brigade of the 82nd Airborne, Ft Bragg, NC.
2nd Combat Armored Brigade of the 3rd Infantry Division of Ft, Benning, GA.

This is insanity. Just as the current DoD sequester is, so is this an in-your-face manifestation of President Obama's fiscal policies from January 2009 to the present. It is by design born of the agenda of the global elite which he is executing with a lay-down and cry Congress and a silent majority of We The Sheeple.

Where this leads is absolutely prophetic.

(CNSNews.com) - In a legal argument formally presented in federal court in the case of Hobby Lobby v. Kathleen Sebelius, the Obama administration is claiming that the First Amendment—which expressly denies the government the authority to prohibit the “free exercise” of religion—nonetheless allows it to force Christians to directly violate their religious beliefs even on a matter that involves the life and death of innocent human beings.

Because federal judges—including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor—have refused to grant an injunction protecting the owners of Hobby Lobby from being forced to act against their Christian faith, those owners will be subject to federal fines of up to $1.3 million per day starting Tuesday for refusing to include abortion-inducing drugs in their employee health plan.

The Obama administration is making a two-fold argument for why it can force Christians to act against their faith in complying with the regulation it has issued under the Obamacare law that requires virtually all health care plans to cover, without co-pay, sterilizations, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs.

The first argument the administration makes against the owners of Hobby Lobby is that Americans lose their First Amendment right to freely exercise their religion when they form a corporation and engage in commerce. A person’s Christianity, the administration argues, cannot be carried out through activities he engages in through an incorporated business.

“Hobby Lobby is a for-profit, secular employer, and a secular entity by definition does not exercise religion,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Stuart Delery in a filing submitted in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

“Because Hobby Lobby is a secular employer, it is not entitled to the protections of the Free Exercise Clause or RFRA [the Religious Freedom Restoration Act],” Delery told the court on behalf of the administration. “This is because, although the First Amendment freedoms of speech and association are ‘right[s] enjoyed by religious and secular groups alike,’ the Free Exercise Clause ‘gives special solicitude to the rights of religious organizations.’”

In keeping with Delery’s argument, the Washington Post, as a corporation, can use its First Amendment-protected freedom of speech to write editorials in support of the Obama administration imposing its contraception mandate on businesses like Hobby Lobby. But the members of the family that created and owns Hobby Lobby, because they formed Hobby Lobby as a corporation, have no First Amendment freedom of religion that protects them from being forced by the government to act against their religious beliefs in providing abortion-inducing drugs.

The second argument the administration makes to justify forcing Christians to act against their faith is more sweeping. Here the administration argues it can force a person to act against his religion so long as the coercion is done under the authority of a law that is neutral and generally applicable—in other words, as long as the law was not written specifically to persecute Christians as Christians, the government can use that law to persecute Christians.

Hobby Lobby is a family business. David Green created it in his garage in Oklahoma City in 1972. He and his wife, Barbara, and their three children—Steve, Mart and Darsee Green Lett-- have grown the business to where it now operates 500 stores in 41 states. David Green is Hobby Lobby’s CEO; Steve Green is its president; Mart Green is vice CEO; and Darsee Lett is vice president. Mart Green is also CEO of the privately owned Mardel chain of Christian bookstores, which operates 35 stores in 7 states. Through Hobby Lobby, the Greens have created more than 13,000 jobs. Mardel has created 372 jobs.

The Greens, who are Evangelical Christians, do not suspend their religious beliefs while running their businesses. Instead, they strive to run them fully in accordance with their Christian beliefs. They are unanimous in stating that they have always “sought to run Hobby Lobby in harmony with God’s laws and in a manner which brings glory to God.” They do not have two sets of morals—one for when they are at church or at home and another for when they are working on their businesses. They have only one set of morals—that they strive to follow at work or any other activity. For example, they close their business on Sundays, so their employees can spend that day with their families, and they pay their full-time workers a minimum hourly wage of $13, which is far exceeds the federal minimum wage.

They also provide their employees with a generous self-insured health care plan, and they even operate an on-site, cost-free health clinic at their corporate headquarters. But, guided by their Christian faith, the Greens believe that human life begins at conception and that aborting on unborn life is wrong. In keeping with this, they do not cover in their employee health plan abortions, abortion-inducing drugs or IUDs that prevent implantation of an embryo.

Unlike Catholics, the Greens do not believe that contraception and sterilization are morally wrong.

In September, the Greens, Hobby Lobby and Mardel bookstores sued Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and the departments of Health Human Service, Labor and Treasury. Their complaint said that the Obamacare contraception mandate violates their First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion because supporting abortion or counseling for abortion is contrary to their religious faith.

As the mandate now stands, the Greens must begin complying with it on Jan. 1. On Nov. 11, U.S. District Judge Joe Heaton refused to grant a preliminary injunction to stop the mandate from being enforced on the Greens while the court decided their case on its merits. In his ruling on the injunction, Judge Heaton determined that the Greens were not likely to establish they had a right to “free exercise” of religion while operating Hobby Lobby.

‘[T]he court concludes plaintiffs have not established a likelihood of success as to their constitutional claims,” said Judge Heaton. “The corporations lack free exercise rights subject to being violated and, as the challenged statutes/regulations are neutral and of general applicability as contemplated by the constitutional standard, plaintiffs are unlikely to successfully establish a constitutional violation in any event.”

The Greens appealed their request for an injunction to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. A panel of two appeals court judges refused their plea. They then appealed to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who sits over that circuit, and she declined to reverse the lower courts and issue an injunction.

When Sotomayor ruled against a preliminary injunction on Thursday, the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which is representing the Greens, issued a statement indicating that the Greens would not start complying with the mandate on Tuesday and that they would continue to pursue their case in federal court.

“Hobby Lobby will continue their appeal before the Tenth Circuit,” said Becket Fund General Counsel Kyle Duncan. “The Supreme Court merely decided not to get involved in the case at this time. It left open the possibility of review after their appeal is completed in the Tenth Circuit. The company will continue to provide health insurance to all qualified employees. To remain true to their faith, it is not their intention, as a company, to pay for abortion-inducing drugs.”

As the nation approaches the much publicized fiscal cliff, it also approaches a moral cliff: Will the Obama administration compel Christians to act against their faith? As of now, the answer seems plain: Starting Tuesday, it will.
